Our comment from FitFit United States about Equinox Beverly Hills:
Equinox Beverly Hills stands out as a fitness destination that combines upscale amenities with a vibrant atmosphere. Located in the heart of Beverly Hills, it offers a clean and well-maintained gym experience with a variety of high-quality training equipment and welcoming locker rooms.
Many members appreciate the exceptional service they receive, citing friendly staff who are eager to help. Specific staff members, such as personal trainer Valerie, have received praise for their dedication to ensuring a supportive and motivating environment. Members also enjoy the diverse class offerings, including engaging sessions led by enthusiastic instructors like Axel and Jacie Scott, which cater to various fitness levels.
However, despite the positive feedback, some users have expressed concerns about customer service experiences. Occasionally, interactions at the front desk can be hit or miss, with reports of rudeness and a lack of accommodation, especially regarding membership inquiries and spa services. Instances of miscommunication have also led to customer dissatisfaction.
Parking can also be a challenge due to its location, although the gym provides complimentary parking validation for members. While the gym can become crowded during peak hours, particularly in the evenings, many find that early morning visits provide a more relaxed workout atmosphere.
Overall, Equinox Beverly Hills is recommended for those seeking a premium fitness experience paired with friendly service, although improvements in customer service consistency and parking availability would enhance the experience even further.
Equinox Beverly Hills: Opinions

Negative experience: The employees here are very rude. The front desk staff care more about chit chatting with each other and act bothered when they need to check paying gym members in. The Spa is worse, they double booked my wife's spa services and refused to see her. They made her wait for a long time before telling her that they couldn't see her. No apology, nothing offered as recompense, they went as far as gaslighted her that she didn't book an appointment even though her app showed she had an appointment and plenty of confirmations.
Negative experience: My husband and I both made appointments for 50 minutes bodywork sessions at Beverly Hills spa. When I showed up, they only had my husband's appointment, even though my mobile app showed that I also have an appointment at the same time. By the time I showed up, because my husband was already in his session, I had to just wait for him outside the spa. The staff at the front desk did not offer any other accommodation or complimentary services. After waiting outside for 20 minutes, I spoke with the spa staff again to make sure that we are not being charged twice. That's when I also found out the 25% promotional discount for the first-time membership was not applied. I expressed my frustration. The spa manager only showed up after I expressed my frustration for the second time. She offered a make-up appointment to be scheduled. This offer honestly did not seem to "make up" anything as I still would pay for the appointment. I was also told that I should call them next time to make an appointment instead of using the mobile app!! I wasted my Saturday afternoon. I was looking forward to this. Proper apology and services to make up for their mistake should have followed when they first realized there was a mistake on their end. I received my apology only after I expressed my frustration and disappointment for the second time and when I pointed them out about the payment error. It was an extremely unpleasant and disappointing experience.
Fantastic experience: My home club is closed till 12 noon today because there's a 5K run and the adjacent streets are closed. There's a reciprocal arrangement with this location for today, so I'm here! It's what you expect from Equniox, a clean gym with the exceptional amenities. What is unexpected is the outstanding hospitality experience by the front desk, Michelle and Bella Marie! Both women are gracious and friendly. I have been a "Nox" for over ten years and to be truly treated like so kindly made my visit memorable!
Negative experience: Disappointed with my experience at this location. The membership advisor I spoke with seemed more focused on her commission than on helping me find the right membership. I recently moved to LA and am staying in different hotels, so I specified I was interested in a one-month membership. She insisted that wasn’t possible and pushed me toward an annual plan. When I called the West Hollywood location, they told me a one-month pass was available. I called Beverly Hills back, and only then did she admit they offered it too. This lack of transparency and pushy sales approach is unacceptable. It feels like she was more interested in her commission than in meeting my needs.
Negative experience: No dog friendly ⛔️ I came with my small dog, and they didn’t let me in, even though my dog has an ID service dog! The manager was unpleasant; it was a very humiliating situation that hurt my feelings!
Negative experience: My family and I are long time members of Equinox and I am so disappointed how my daughter and I were treated this afternoon. My daughter is in college now and had to cancel her membership as there is no Equinox near her school . I just picked her up from the airport for Christmas break and as we were racing to get to 5:00 Mass, she asked if we could stop by Equinox so she could wash her hands and apply some makeup quickly. I thought the club would certainly allow her to do that. I was wrong. I was told in no uncertain terms would she be allowed to step foot in the club without using one my guest passes - and I am out of guest passes. They said I could pay money for her to enter! Such nonsense! I’ve been a member for over a decade - as was she for the last 4 years prior to leaving for college - and this is the way they treat our loyalty?!. I’m going to convince my husband and my other adult daughter to find another club that will value our loyalty. Very disappointed that this simple request was not accommodated. -Jennifer Knox
Negative experience: Amy Bishop should be fired. I called Amy, the group class /fitness coordinator at Equinox BH because they gave me a warning for missing a class (that I did indeed go to). When we talked she was immediately rude and told me I needed to make sure I checked in I said I did and she was like well I see a lot of pings here - implying again that I’m doing something wrong. Finally she realized what she saw was my check ins. When I called her out for being the one making mistakes she lost her temper! I had to terminate the phone call. She is unprofessional and rude and shouldn’t be speaking in such an accusatory tone to a paying member of Equinox.
Negative experience: By far the worst equinox location I have ever been to and I train all over. Machines are split up on two floors with out any rhyme or reason what’s on what floor. All the cardio machine is packed so tightly together you have to walk around all the machines to get in a row. Only 4 benches for free weights. Lot of the equipment wore down and busted up. No working bathroom on the main floor. I’m surprised this is an equinox because it’s more on par with an LA fitness.
Fantastic experience: I always check reviews, they are written by individuals taking time out ..... and information from experience is always key. I was concerned about the feedback on customer services but had some queries and so made contact. I spoke to a lady called Sarah to enquire about a temporary membership for my visiting CEO and his wife, who have plans to move the US in 2025. They needed to see for themselves what leisure club would meet their needs . Equinox do not provide temporary membership nor passes, but told me they would be very happy to give a tour to anyone interested, this of course is standard. I asked a few more questions and she was courteous and helpful. I was informed that none of the luxury clubs that she was aware of issued temporary memberships nor day passes. I personally think this is a bespoke requirement for a high end clientele, who have great pressures on their time. This can only benefit the club, so one of the clubs should really look into this, there is mileage in this, I am sure. I wanted to write a few lines to say the customer service experience was a positive one, neither of us gained anything however, it important to know first hand how the club approaches a client. Thank you Sarah for all the information you gave. Sheila Darr
Fantastic experience: Ruthie was very polite, understanding. Thank you!
Negative experience: Rude staff
Fantastic experience: Great gym with super friendly staff and clean showers. Kudos to the awesome maintenance team in the women’s locker room for giving us an amazing experience!
Positive experience: My least preferred Equinox location The yoga studio is tucked away on the bottom floor and is built sort-of weird, where there is this large pole blocking the instructor from about 1/6 of the class (front right); overall, pretty small and can only snugly fit 10-15 people before feeling too crowded. Gym itself is split into 2 floors and the machines are sort of spread out, but seem a little old. The parking structure makes you park on the bottom 3rd/4th floor, so you have to circle down a few times and it is dark. Though they offer a lot of fitness courses, I never go given (what I feel) are the negatives
Negative experience: Equinox is a nice and clean gym and the locker rooms are typically neat and tidy. The classes and instructors are great. However, sometimes the classes are overcrowded despite the online class signup portal which should prevent that issue. High marks for the above mentioned areas. The customer service is barely 1 star. I would give no stars if possible. I was overcharged for a spa service that was different than what I received. I pointed out the error weeks ago and I still haven’t been properly refunded. Furthermore, I went in for another service and was incorrectly charged yet again. They have yet to correct that as well. I’ve spent hours of my time on the phone or writing emails which in my opinion is unacceptable for a very high membership fee gym. Do better Equinox.

Fantastic experience: One of my favorite Equinoxes The sound meditation class with Axel is just life changing, highly recommend. I really love the Barre class and the gym itself is great, just like any other Equinox: clean, nice, good energy and atmosphere. Everything else is also perfect except for the fact that they don’t have the Juice Bar there so I can’t get smoothies but it’s okay I forgive them I actually really enjoy spending my time there. 10/10 ☺️
Thank you for sharing this 5-star review, Ria! Your membership means a lot to us, and we're thrilled to have you as part of our community. Negative experience: They will charge your money for a whole year, if you come to pay for one month. Dislike.
Negative experience: I'm an Equinox member and I have a monthly payment of $340, I was running on the mat and I got an important call from my co-worker in New York, and I answered the phone. After 2 seconds, the manager named (Don Weiner) arrived and with a threatening expression ordered me to turn off the phone immediately. I closed the phone and stopped the mat I was running, I a m Went to the Front Desk and asked if there was a law that I can't answer the phone, the Front Desk girl told me that it is forbidden to receive calls in the gym. So I guess that None of the Equinox members want to lose money since they can't use their cell phones. Here almost all of us pay handsomely $350 a month I have the Executive membership $400 because we want to be Treat yourself well, not badly, as this manager did, I have this law that Equinox has imposed on your members. I had to apologize to my New York collaborator, since it was a conversation important, and I couldn't put it off, I had to stop my workout and go out of the gym all this for 2 minutes of conversation. I don't recommend this gym in Beverly Hills unfortunately I live here, but I don't let Equinox treat me like a fish for no reason. Avoid making contracts with Equinox if you want your freedom, to answer the phone freely.
Negative experience: Canceled my membership last month. While the gym is decent and machines are old, The staff is rude and obnoxious. The management in this gym doesn't know how to run a premium service like a private jet or even a suite in a hotel. The front desk act like they are hollywood superstars and are a delusional bunch of people from skidrow dtla. Not sure why management hired these clowns considering its a premium service. Bad vibes and complete avoid
Negative experience: Extremely overcrowded all hours of the day , steam is weak, never found anyone who works here to be welcoming. I feel like there’s many better gyms for this price. Otherwise just save your money and go to the overcrowded LA fitness down street. Also do not come 5-7pm it’ll be a high school take over.
Positive experience: Great gym, very clean. I like coming here, but if only the staff was a bit nicer
Fantastic experience: Love Equinox! Great location with 2 hour free complimentary parking — it’s established in the same building complex at WME. The parking is easy to find - the garage next to it. The staff are super friendly, the training equipment and cardio machines are definitely ample and really quality. It definitely has its ‘packed’ hours but unlike other gyms it doesn’t feel stuffy or congested. You can feel the ‘luxury’ through that. Early mornings between 5-6:30 is usually pretty dead, around 3-4 pm in the afternoon is quiet as well. The locker room is also really nice, you can have your own locker, the bathrooms and showers are really clean and there’s always a good stock of towels. They have eucalyptus towels that you can take advantage of as well! They also have a steam room for you to use to relax and unwind. I have a personal trainer through there, would highly recommend Caitlin if you’re searching for one! Overall equinox Beverly Hills is a phenomenal location to work out at, I would recommend going to equinox if you’re someone whose looking for a comfortable setting to workout in, low pressure/crowdless place, and high performing equipment, a place to feel and be motivated in exercise. The lighting of the place also always adds to the comfortable vibe.
Fantastic experience: Absolutely loved Jacie Scott’s cardio fitness dance class! It was so much fun. Her energy was incredible and everyone had a great time at all ages. Would definitely recommend her classes to anyone who loves fun music with great movements that will leave you super sore!
Positive experience: It is located close to Rodeo Drive, less than 3 minute's walk. The exterior design looked outdated and could be improved to make it look new and match the location. The Miracle Mile did a better job than here. I became a member in October 2022 with the help and consistency of Daniel, who texted and emailed me for a few months. After 14 months of being inactive and going downhill for my health, I finally returned to the gym. I decided to get the PT to get me back on track, and Mali has been helpful and pushed me to get better after each session. She's friendly and always gives me a big smile when I enter the gym, which provides me with lots of energy which I'm grateful for, for a person who has not been back to crowded places for over a year. Depending on the date and who works, the receptionist can be hit or miss. However, they could better greet and welcome members by saying hi or welcome to build vital customer service. I also got a $100 gift card to shop at the store. I almost forgot about it and received a reminder email to use it with a prompt response after I sent them the email to ask about the expiration date. They did an excellent job on this! They care. So I went there to get myself a new outfit but hard to find my favorite one, and I spent almost 10-15 mins looking around. The staff was friendly and highly patient. I came back after my session and did a couple try on again, and she helped me to find my size. I spent another 15-20 mins to finally made the decision. She was beyond the expectations to assist in finding it though she could say no. The restrooms are clean and also have someone to clean up. Towels are always neat and filled up. Amenities in lady's room are the same as well. Yoga classes are excellent, with various options, and easy to register through the app. My favorite is sound meditation since it's unique and relaxing with the well-equipped and invested for the class by the instructor, which has to bring all the materials and equipment. I'm not sure how long it took her to bring that downstairs, but I'm grateful for that! The parking is validated at the front desk. The machine breaks sometimes, or if your phone is close to the ticket, it gets magnetized and cannot insert into the device when you get out. The staff knows and will help you before you leave the gym. Sometimes, you can park your car, or there are workers there for valet, which is helpful. So many good things that I can list them out. Try it yourself, but bring good energy to feel it better! It got four stars from me since it's not beautiful outside, so hopefully, they can upgrade it soon and make it more stunning as it should be.
Fantastic experience: Simply a stellar gym all the way around! From the staff, management, members, location, services...all the above! For someone who is traditionally not an indoor gym person, they really make the experience worthwhile.
Fantastic experience: Ive been a member since the gym opened. The facility is always very clean and the equipment is up to date and well maintained. There is ample room to play and move your body!
Fantastic experience: The best gym in Beverly Hills. Great equipment, great location, great atmosphere and great people. My favorite trainer is a high energy superfit, superfriendly girl from the Ukraine, Anna Tsyganenko. The gym is always clean, never smells bad, and has great amenities. Working out there is a pleasure, and I do it 3-4 times a week, every week. Highly recommended.
Fantastic experience: Amazing ! One of the best equinox in Los Angeles
Fantastic experience: Top quality gym with excellent customer service. I like the fact that it's not super crowded after the dinner lunch. If you can afford it, I highly recommend.
Fantastic experience: Love this location. Never too busy and doesn’t have the gay pretension that lingers at WeHo club.
Fantastic experience: It’s nice! Be ready for the crowds of BH High / CSUN 16 - 22 year old boys.
Fantastic experience: good equipment and staff!
Positive experience: First of all I really love Beverly Hills EQUINOX, it has a lot of cool classes with very flexible schedule, nice staff and underground parking! But if you would like to get charged with negative energy and feel yourself like delinquent student in elementary school the Vinyassa yoga class by Jenny Geyser is definitely worth trying! I have an impression that she is more focused on watching the discipline in the class then yoga session itself. She made a comment to me that I did not flip the phone face down during the session (the phone did not produce any sound) and reached me out again when I was leaving the class and said not to bring the phone anymore as it was distracting, I guess it was made just in case I did not get it from the first time. At the same time people were with their cell phones at that class. She just picked me for some reason. What is the funniest thing, commitment section in her profile says - ‘to always be kind and share happiness and joy with the people I meet’ and ‘ after my class you’ll fell strong, inspired and at pease’ Well, good to know. Today felt quite the opposite.
Negative experience: The brand's motto is "commit to something". If the management could commit to running the business professionally, this would be a great facility. Earlier this month they double charged members their monthly fee, this week, without any posted notice or email to the club members, they've drastically cut hours. The two boys in their early twenties at the front desk were kind and professional, letting people know they couldn't use the club, but when asked if any manager or membership employees were on hand, they had to answer: 'they leave way before us'. The club management won't stick around to close the club for fear of dealing with turning away members for a last minute hours reduction. The club's corporate response is that the club is 'underutilized'. Which is a self fulfilling prophecy. When evening hours are reduced, people stop using the facilities in the evening. The brand is facing massive multimillion lawsuits for non payment of rent at NYC locations, and I fear they are entering a financial death spiral. Their solution? Cut hours in hopes that saving on their minimum wage greeting and janitorial labor is enough to staunch the corporate bleeding. Perhaps the new tag shouldn't be #itsnotfitnessitslife to #itsnotfitnessitsfrustrating. Update 7/22 The location is upping dues $15 a month, close to $300 total, and still isn’t operating at pre pandemic hours.
Fantastic experience: I think every trainer at the Beverly Hills Equinox are so nice and helpful. You will never walk by one without a smile or a hello. My favorite is Valerie! I’ve been working with her since I basically got a membership there in February. She is seriously so awesome!!! She truly listens to all your concerns and really pushes you to your full potential. She is hilarious and will keep you entertained the whole session! Not only has she helped me physically but also mentally and emotionally. She truly feels like a friend at this point. I never thought I needed a personal trainer since I thought I knew what I was doing, but she’s showed me a lot of different types of things and how to PROPERLY do them! I have low back pain occasionally and she’s really helped figuring out how to avoid hurting it further. If you need a personal trainer, I highly highly recommend Valerie. Well even if you don’t think you need one like I thought, she’s a great resource for any questions you may have! I’ve done some workout classes too which I love! I’ve really liked the instructors as well. I like that they’ll let you know if you’re doing something incorrectly. I’d rather be called out to get informed I’m not doing something the right way than to not get told anything. I enjoy Cycle Power with Monique. She really took the time to go around helping everyone adjust their bikes and explaining what’s on the screen. Her music and energy is everything! I also enjoyed Regeneration Yoga with Aren. I liked how instead of just being in the front of the room performing stretches, he walked around the room correcting everyone’s form. That really helped me a lot! This place is always so spotless. I feel like the second I get done or off of something, someone comes by to clean it. The cleaning ladies are so thorough and always working so hard around there! Overall, love the environment at this gym and love being there!
Fantastic experience: This is one of my favorite Equinox locations! Super friendly staff and it's always the best experience :)
Fantastic experience: Love this gym! ❤️ The best in Beverly Hills❤️
Fantastic experience: Super clean and people are friendly and helpful. Love this place
Hi Cori, thanks for the 5 stars!
Positive experience: Love this gym! They have every machine you would ever need! Very clean and friendly staff. It gets very busy around 5PM and it’s not that big of a spot. But overall a good location
Fantastic experience: Beautiful facility, friendly staff!
Fantastic experience: Beautiful facility, friendly staff!
Thank you for leaving a review!
Fantastic experience: Five star this is home away from home
Negative experience: I remember my dad taking us on drives down Wilshire Bl. past this building in the 60's and it was a bank and the bank vault was on display in front of the building in that round section that is now covered over. Pretty much all of "BEVERLY HILLS" now has lost its shine.
Fantastic experience: Love Equinox, best workout facility in the golden triangle <3 It's close to all the nice shops & only a short walk down Rodeo to Beverly Hills Anti Aging, in the golden triangle, & the best place to get great face & body rejuvenation, so make a day of it! There is free 2 hour parking just around the corner at the Montage, also.
Fantastic experience: What more could you ask for? I have the full membership package and I go almost every day. My girlfriends are all there and it's a great vibe.
Fantastic experience: Man I love this place. Can't wait for it to reopen after this whole thing passes.
Positive experience: Quality service
Negative experience: Although Noah’s class is amazing, the management team started not letting people in who were late. I asked if this was a new policy and they said they sent out a memo back in January - it was mid March when they were standing on the door. I think a business this big needs to be consistency; otherwise, it is perceived as bad costumer service.
Negative experience: They need to change out the iced towels and blankets in the yoga Studio they are soiled and disgusting.
Negative experience: small club without swimming pool. Spa reception is the worst of all.
Fantastic experience: I came crawling back to equinox - no more crunch, lafitness, and horrible neighborhood gyms! today is the second day of my remembership and It feels like I have been upgraded from economy class to business class on a transatlantic flight. When you try to go cheapo on your gym membership you will defintiely get what you dont pay for. Call Saul Newton at the beverly hills equinox - he is a great membership consultant - tell them mark feigin referred you.
Fantastic experience: Simply the best gym ever. Staff is attentive and the classes are great with some of the most engaging yoga instructors at this specific location. Ties with the SF equinox on market street!
Fantastic experience: I have encouraged a number of people to join and all feel similarly... sense of community without pretentiousness. Also, the place is very clean; you feel good just being there, making it easier to push yourself further.
Thank you for the feedback, Michael!
Negative experience: I set up my membership at Equinox Beverly Hills location at the end of April for it to be set up for the first of May. My first issue happened when I went to use my 15% first purchase in the store. I went in right after a class on May 20th and was looking at a couple items. The lady who was helping me was very nice and grabbed everything I needed and told me that if I don't want to try anything on just to buy it and bring it home and bring it back within 30 days for a refund. When i got home to try on a pair of shorts I looked at the receipt and saw that it said in store exchange only. I called first thing on May 21st and asked to talk to the store manager. I spoke to Ari (assistant store manager) who told me to call back and ask for Erica (the store manager) about what can be done. When I called back to talk to Erica she once again told me there was nothing that could be done. I told her that although the women who helped me the day before was very helpful, the policy was not told to me otherwise I would not have purchased the items and brought them home to try. She once again told me that there was nothing that she could do and "The register wouldn't let her refund me even if she wanted to" I then asked if there was someone else in the building that I could talk to that may be able to help me. She then said "When you call with something about the store, I'm who you get" and then hung up the phone. I then proceeded to find a customer service number online and email address. [email protected] have now reached out to them 7 times and have also called 14 times trying to get ahold of someone that could help and also reach out to the Beverly Hills Branch. After no response was made from the corporate customer care, I then proceeded to file 5 reports with the gym itself. I finally was able to get ahold of someone who was very helpful by the name of Corbin (Corporate Customer Care) on June 5th who apologized for everything and told me that he would reach out directly to the District Shop Manager, Pooneh Naerzare. On June 12th I finally received an email from Pooneh apologizing for me recent experience in the store and told me that she would gladly issue me a refund and make sure that I am taken care of and when I will be able to go into the store. I wrote back the June 13th telling her that I would be able to go in that same day or the next, whichever works best for her. I have still to hear a response. On June 19th I finally decided to go in and ask to speak to a gym manager about the refund. I went to the front desk while a gentleman checked me in and ask what the issue was about. After explaining the issues that I have had he asked me to take a seat and Don would be over as soon as he was able to talk. Don came about 15 minutes later and asked me to come to his office. I told him about the issue with the shorts and showed him the email from Pooneh (THE DISTRICT STORE MANAGER) and he told me that he would only give me in store credit for the item and that she did not state that the refund would be made back onto my credit card. I told him that I would then like to just cancel my membership because I would no longer like to be a member at a gym that has zero customer care. He then told me that I signed a 1 year contract and there was nothing that I could do. I then told him about the messages that I had between the membership specialist Saul and I, where he clearly told me "exactly right, just let me know and I can cancel it anytime." Don then told me "Well that just looks like part of the conversation and not the whole conversation" which is when I left. I have had issue after issue since I signed up for this gym membership with a bunch of managers who "have nothing that they can do" when you are finally able to get a hold of one. I just wanted everyone to know about these issues because if you sign up for a membership here be prepared to be took, ignored, taken advantage of, and be offered zero customer service.
Positive experience: Nice but small
Fantastic experience: Nice gym to workout!
Fantastic experience: Great equipment, great location, great atmosphere and great people.Top quality gym with excellent customer service.
Fantastic experience: If your lifestyle is centered around Fitness and Health, the Equinox has everything one needs to learn, grow, improve, or maintain health and athletic performance. The class offerings are wide and diverse, whether you are a beginner to fitness, or looking to add spice up your current exercise regimen, Equinox has the classes you need. Tabata, Yoga, Pilates, Dance, and a myriad of other course offerings staffed with incredibly passionate and engaging instructors. The Yoga Program at Equinox was a major plus for me, offering Iyengar, Vinyasa, and Yin, all of which are necessary components to a well rounded mind and body exercise program. The biggest obstacle to Equinox is parking, the two hour time limit pressures one to quickly be in and out of the facility. The Cafe inside the Equinox in Beverly Hills is fantastic, really unique and tasty smoothies, as well as pre-workout blends to energize, fuel, and refuel after rigorous workouts. As for the Equinox facility, the locker rooms are incredibly clean and well maintained by a friendly staff that is always responsive and helpful with any issues or concerns with lockers or towels. The Shampoos and Conditioners are Organic and there are free razors and shaving cream to use as a perk to ones membership package. The membership levels range in price, however If you have a traveling lifestyle the Global Executive membership is worth the investment, providing access to all Equinox locations. Equinox should really thank me, 3 people now signed. Reminiscing about the year spent bouncing around the #equinox gyms in Southern California. I hear they have a global pass. #committosomething
Fantastic experience: Great location and good equipments. I have been a member for years and I still love this gym
Fantastic experience: This gym is like a family. It’s super fun and friendly. I’ve been a member on and off since it used to be Sports club LA and it’s been amazing ever since.
Fantastic experience: Perfect
Fantastic experience: A great facility... I can really get a Good workout in here... machines are so new and the trainer are outstanding!
Positive experience: overpriced charge too much
Negative experience: What a joke. Not worth it at all! Rude, inconvenient, expensive, and stinky. Why pay to be treated so badly by snobby workers? Perhaps they think they can treat you and me badly and get away with it because they are in Beverly Hills? But wait, these are workers, not the actual residents of Beverly Hills... Maybe they are mistreated by the rude members here, so the cycle of nasty attitude/treatment goes around and round. Regardless, why pay so much to get mistreated by workers with some serious attitude problems? Just go for a walk around the block, and friendly visitors from out of town will smile and treat you and me much better than these rude workers.
Hi, We apologize for this experience and we'd like to look into it. Please email us at [email protected] with any further details and reference this review.
Negative experience: Worst experience I have had at any so called high end gym. The lady that was helping me was very rude and pushy she was only interested in sticking me in some long HIGH-Priced contract. I was very hurt and felt horrible at times at this gym the manager of this location is RACIST ! Made a joke about my name and how my skin tone would look better LIGHTER if I used this product that they sell in their spa downstairs. Don’t support this RACIST establishment!!
Hi Aliyah, We apologize that you had this experience, and we take this seriously. Please email us at [email protected].
Fantastic experience: A great place for fitness. In the heart of Beverly Hills with a staff that puts you first. So many plusses.
Fantastic experience: Great gym, busy most peak hours. Hard to find parking.
Fantastic experience: Located in the heart of the golden triangle in Beverly Hills, this place is a total LA scene. I'll just leave it that. Gym is clean with good equipment and the usual amenities you would expect from Equinox.
Fantastic experience: The trainers here are really dedicated to sports science.
Fantastic experience: Excellent exercise facility
Fantastic experience: Friendly staff. Clean. Free parking with validation.
Negative experience: Nice gym all great but extremely dissatisfying opening hours. So upsetting when u dont get to finish a workout or dont get to shower or dont even get to workout at all on the weekends
Negative experience: ATTENTION TO ALL EQUINOX MEMBERS!!!! THE GYM HAS THIEFS WORKING FOR THEM I have been a member of Equinox since the moment they opened a new location in BEVERLY HILLS 7 years ago . about 10 days ago I checked in at 5pm and after working out I found my locker busted open with some sort of cobra or tools. They STOLE my entire bag with a Rolex watch wallet and car keys . I called the manager and he suggested to make a police report but did not call the police there. He said not to worry he will take care of me and tried to calmed me down . I am sure he was trying to protect the image that this gym has to show to their clients .I personally expressed my concerns about this been an inside job and I was sure the bag was still there somewhere .I asked him to check the camera videos to see if the bag (very big bag)made it out of the gym. At night he called me and told he personally checked every locker and went around the gym and the bag was not there . So I filed a police report , I asked the police if the gym was supposed to call them and the officer said that it was up to them but yes they should had call them because this was a crime with damage inside their property .About five days after the incident the manager called me again and told me they found the bag . I asked him where and he said inside a different locker . I realized immediately that I was right ,this was an inside job and they put the bag back in the a different locker after hiding it somewhere where regular member don t have access .No member or daily guest would had risked to bring that bag back inside the gym .Of course my watch and cash were gone . The Gym does not carry any sort of insurance and they claim to not be responsible for any of this actions happening in their facilities . I mentioned to them one thing is to find the locker open maybe because you forgot it open or because someone found your digital combination but it is different finding it busted open in a gym like that where they charge us so much money . I was told they did not want to take any responsibility and they offered only 3 months of free membership .I told them I was aware I could not get back 10k for my watch but I was at least expecting a better treatment also because they know it is an internal problem going on lately . It took almost a week to get in touch with regional manager and the Vice president and I was told the same exact thing . I explained I have been a member for long time and I had at least 10 people joining that gym because my referral ,but still they did not care . When I said I will report this on every site and I will talk to every member in the gym the regional manager answered he will have to suspend my membership if I acted that way . In other words they want you to work out with all your belonging including your car keys , i.d. and credit cards in your pocket because they don t have a better system to give you any protection. they want high end clientele to join their gym but don`t protect you on this matters and they don t want this news to spread . They have an internal investigation going on but they won`t show me the videos or let me speak with their investigator for sharing info. Very horrible way to handle this and I am sure many clients will judge them .
