Fantastic experience: It’s a great facility with wide variety of equipment and group exercise options. It’s clean and the people there are THE BEST! Ashley Springett is the most wonderful instructor and overall great person! I wish I could take a class from her every day. She not only leads an incredible workout, but I leave her classes feeling HAPPY and ENERGIZED. Her energy and good karma is contagious!!

Fantastic experience: We are enjoying it a lot, The Directors, Teachers, and everyone who works in this place are wonderful and very attentive people. The place is very cozy and familiar, and the programs are rich in activities, which make us quickly see the development of our son. Many thanks to the Greater Beverly YMCA Chidren Care Team ☺️ We couldn't have made a better choice for our son's education.

Fantastic experience: Great fitness options and a warm welcoming environment

Fantastic experience: My son has done camp here the past 2 summers, and basketball last year and will do it again this year. But the reason for my review is because he started the Hogwarts afterschool enrichment program on Monday, which, he’s wanted to do for a while but the age ranges were always too old. He finally got to sign up this year and it did not disappoint! Out of all of the activities we have done this was by far his favorite! He was so proud of the magic keys he made, and getting answers right in trivia; this is a boy who when I ask about how something was I get “good” in return. But Monday afternoon when I asked I got the full rundown of everything they did, how awesome it was, and asking me when he can go back, upset he has to wait a week. So THANK YOU to the YMCA for an awesome after school program!

Fantastic experience: Cannot say enough good things about Katie & the entire gymnastics camp staff. They make our daughter feel so special & happy. This is her 3rd year at the camp, and she will be there every summer until she ages out!

Fantastic experience: Great organization that serves Beverly and our surrounding communities! I regularly use their exercise equipment, lift weights, and play pickleball there. Can't recommend them strongly enough!!!

Fantastic experience: This place is GREAT. There's a ton of classes with wonderful teachers, the pool is huge and super clean and there's a sauna, which is a huge bonus. I also like that there's so many big open windows and you can run looking outside. The energy is always bright and uplifting!

Fantastic experience: I go there for my physical therapy on my knee replacement the place is wonderful the staff is extraordinary they're working wonders with my leg getting strong walking much better I would recommend Bay state physical therapy YMCA to anyone that's recovering from any surgery or back problems or if they want to just get strong again they're awesome puts a lot of Hope in the word recovery they're great I'm telling you thank you...

Fantastic experience: The YMCA has been a safe haven for my kids and my self. We love kids club and the gymnastics center as well as swimming even if they keep this pool colder than the other ymca’s!

Fantastic experience: We love that the YMCA teen camp brings the kids swimming every day. That's a HUGE plus!! The counselors are awesome, and the kids are engaged with various activities throughout the day. It's never boring, and always fun!!

Fantastic experience: I love Y! Nothing else need to be said. People that work there are all wonderful, make every member super comfortable and keep the gym very clean. Employees are a great indicator of the company’s culture. Based on my experience, YMCA of the north shore have a great one. My family and I frequent Sterling Y, we are always happy coming in and leaving the place!

Fantastic experience: My family and I feel incredibly fortunate to be a part of this Ymca and all the great benefits it provides every member of our family. They do everything to keep things clean and safe in the gym, daycare and the pool area. The staff is always friendly as well.

Fantastic experience: My son loves adventure camp. Great experience for him to enjoy the summer and make new friends. His favorite activities include swimming, ziplining, gaga ball, and dodgeball.

I have had nothing but a positive experience at this YMCA. The staff is always so pleasant and personable from the second you get to the front desk.

Fantastic experience: The Y is our life line. It offers us a great community, physical and mental health benefits, and socialization. The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. We love it here and will forever support the Y!

Fantastic experience: Clean, well kept, and modern faculties that are COVID safe. The staff are the most professional, upbeat, and friendly people ever. I emailed them about extending the hours and a week later the hours were extended. I accidentally overpaid for a membership, I emailed and had the money back in my account within 12 hours. Phenomenal people and an above average gym, it deserves 6 stars, but I'll settle for 5 out of 5.

Fantastic experience: My son participates in the Water Wise program with Jerry Justice. This program is excellent and I have seen my son make leaps and bounds with his water skills. Jerry's patience and skill with working with Autistic and special needs kids is invaluable to the program.I highly recommend this program to parents with special needs kids.

Fantastic experience: The Greater Beverly YMCA is fantastic and has exceeded my expectations. I joined in January on a whim and have been going consistently since. From the pool, the spin classes, the personal trainers to the workout floor/equipment - I like that it is clean, relatively new, and comes at a great price for what they offer.

Fantastic experience: Personal Trainer, Alex Gois, at Beverly's Sterling Center recommended I try Jacob's Ladder. So glad he did. I can feel a difference. It's one of many positive suggestions Alex makes to my physical regime.

Fantastic experience: My son has been involved in all the sports the Y has had to offer since 4 years old. He is now 9. Great programs. Summer camps and after school Programs are excellent. Great staff all around. Great with the kids and well organized. My son wouldn't spend his summers anywhere but sports camp. Great job Y. :)

Fantastic experience: Best place for open rec swim. Water is a little cold but at least we can swim almost any time we want. My 3 year old and I thank you! Great facilities and cafe.

Fantastic experience: I hadnt been to this ymca in about 10 years, but my wife wanted us to join a gym as a new years resolution. I have to say, I couldnt believe my eyes when I got there.The pool is huge!!!!it must be tripple the size it was when I was a kid. I talked the someone at the front desk and he seemed proud to talk about the direction this YMCA has been going over the years. I forget his name, but he was very helpful and answered all my question about when the pool and courts are open to the public. Im not super tech savy, but he showed me how to find schedules and other things online if I ever am ever curious about hours. As someone with phonaphobia I was wicked happy the ymca had a comprehensive site. Ill post another review after a few visits, but first impression have me colored impressed

Fantastic experience: I have been a regular user of the Sterling YMCA for the last 10 years and have had nothing but positive experiences. The front desk is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, the website is always up to date, and they’ve even recently renovated to drastically improve the cardio and weight areas. My fiancé has been enjoying the variety of exercise classes and says that scheduling is as easy as possible! If you live in the greater Beverly area, the YMCA is where you should go to live a healthy lifestyle!
