Williston Park Fitness Center - Minnetonka Township

Positive experience: Spent weeks fixing the kiddie pool and then couldn't take the time to clean it up when you were done. Every time my grandchildren are there they get cut. The changing rooms are not maintained. And most of the time the pool is freezing cold not the nice warm temperature. As a matter of fact, the other day, both pools were freezing cold. Most people left quickly. Bottom line this time of year with colds and all I find your facility really dirty and I'm not a clean freak!

Fantastic experience: We love the kiddie pool, treehouse, and the childcare. Highly recommend the family plan. It's worth every penny.

Positive experience: It's a great community center at an affordable price. If you need something fancier you'll have to go to Lifetime. Williston has the essentials plus tennis courts for reservation, a pool, and batting cages.

Fantastic experience: This place is wonderful. There’s a pool with space for open swimming and lap swimming, a hot tub, and a splash pad all together. There’s obviously all kinds of spaces for sports in addition to a weight room and fitness class space. But the best part (if you’re a parent) is the “Treehouse” indoor playground that is FANTASTIC for kids under 12 that is also inclosed in its own room so your kids can’t wander somewhere else. There are tables and lockers everywhere as well as benches so it’s convenient to stash your stuff.

Fantastic experience: What a great place to work out and swim if you wish.The gym they have is excellent for working out or if you wish cardio. The pools are great for swimming.Super large and enough space for all.The place is kept super clean and for the price nobody comes close.This is my go-to gym when I'm visiting family in Minnetonka.

Fantastic experience: The treehouse is a great space for our toddler. There are areas he is more advanced than, areas that are perfect, and areas to stretch his skills.

Fantastic experience: Clean, great equipment, community feeling. It isn't a super huge Lifetime Fitness type of place but it has more than enough equipment for me, and the staff is great!

Fantastic experience: Great place to take the kids on a hot day or even a cold one. When we travel to MN, we will often stop by and get a day pass. They have so much to do here. Lots of fun for everyone

Positive experience: Nice place, has ample of activities like tennis, splash pad, kids play area, gym. Fees is also genuine and whole family can spend a day and kids enjoy a lot in the play area and splash pad, must go, staff is helpful and has lots of parking space!!

Fantastic experience: It's been a while since being here. I grew up coming to go swimming, and I'm now super excited they have an indoor playground for my kiddos.

Fantastic experience: Williston is really fantastic, our family absolutely loves it. Our kids enjoy the Treehouse and kids pool, my wife and I love to work out here, we've used the batting cages and open gym to play basketball. All things considered, Williston is exactly what our family hoped it would be.

I always look forward to walking through the doors to see all the smiling faces and feel super content when I leave there after a workout.

Fantastic experience: Big difference from the gym that was there before. Everything is new and clean, locker rooms and bathrooms are great, plenty of cardio with good mix of free weights and machines.

Fantastic experience: We love the Williston Fitness Center! Our kids love the treehouse, and we also love their private swimming lessons. Their teacher (and aquatics director) Megan is amazing. She is so professional, warm, and has done an excellent job teaching our kids how to swim, and teaching water safety. I highly recommend private lessons with Megan!

Fantastic experience: The staff at Williston Are Awesome! As we arrived and checked in to see where the party was. Today was my granddaughters 3rd birthday party. Her real birthday was the day before on Saturday The pool area has a place for small kids, an area for a hot tub & a full size pool. The party room has private bathrooms and a kitchenette. Plus another area to use for setting up your party. The staff there were very helpful, right on task, friendly, accommodating, even humorous when we left the party as we thanked the front check in desk! There was one staff who showed us how to use a prize from the party. There is also an indoor park here. Thanx so much Williston Center for a great place to have a birthday party! ♥️

Negative experience: Things seem to never work. I always come in and things are always broken. Machines are never working. I see no effort to try and fix them. Whenever I really need Williston they seem to always let me down. At the end of the day save your time and go to lifetime.

Fantastic experience: This gym is amazing. While we are not members, it is easy to pay $10/person for a guest pass.The workout area is great, but we mostly utilize the pool. The water is very warm, our 2-month old daughter absolutely loves it. The hot tub is nice and hot too. There is a huge separate toddler pool area with a little waterslide too! Perfect for younger kiddos. Love this place!

Fantastic experience: My grandkids loved it. They spent two hours on the indoor jungle and then two hours in the splash pool. Then we went home ate and they spent at least two hours sleeping that included Grandma.

Fantastic experience: Visited as part of a birthday party for some family friends. The indoor playground was really neat and engaging for my 2yr, 4yr, and 6yr old children. The facility was huge and well maintained.

Fantastic experience: We started going to the treehouse in williston center when my son was 18 months old. He absolutely loves playing in the treehouse indoor play area! We went there almost once a weekend in the winter. It's never too busy or too crowded and very clean. Plus there's lockers to store your things if you need to! They also have a spot for tots in their pool!

Fantastic experience: I have been a proud member of Williston Fitness Center for over six years. The club is getting better every year with frequent equipment upgrades and some of the best fitness instructors. Julie, Yolanda, Wendy, Patrick, Ann, +++ keep the classes fun and so rewarding. I actually get sad if I miss a class or weekly event. Williston is all about the people and not the fancy shoes.

Fantastic experience: I come here strictly for tennis, so I cant speak for other services provided by the facility. The staff is very friendly and the tennis courts are excellent. Some courts around the Minneapolis area are either extra gritty (like at baseline) or way to smooth (like at wayzata high school) but these courts are a great texture that keeps the ball moving quick, but not skidding off of every shot. The only thing that I dislike is that getting a time slot between leagues and clinics in the colder months can be tough, but that is typical for all indoor courts I suppose, so I don't really feel like I can dock a star for that.

Fantastic experience: We love our gym! Whether it's to play basketball, practice hitting baseballs, swimming or to play in the tree house. There's something for everyone. We take advantage of child care for our littles and our youngest even refers to it as "gym school". Reasonable rates for visitors as well.

Fantastic experience: Brought our son to the "Treehouse" and he loved it. Kept our 2yr old engaged and active for 2-3 hours. Very clean and staff at the facility were great in helping us get to the right spot as it was our first time to the Williston Treehouse. We will be visiting again.

Fantastic experience: Thw Williston Fitness Center has everything you need and more! I personally spend most of my time on strength training machines and free weights but, there is much more! Treadmills, elipticals, open stride, trx. There are also many classes including spin class. The pool is large. The hot tub is spacious as well. There is a kids water park next to the pool and hot tub. In the basement there are 4 tennis courts, batting cages, a basketball court, and a jungle gym for the kids. Very friendly staff is always available.

Positive experience: Good, not great. Only one gym and if you like to play basketball (i.e. 5-5) forget it unless during lunch hour Tue & Thr due to a thousand younger kids throwing up half court shots and yelling out "kobe" while they hit some unsuspecting person in the head with their airball. The gym is not wood floor rather some synthetic compound that is pretty slippery. In the winter it can get pretty cold. All that being said, there is a batting cage that is pretty nice. Decent pool and hot tub. The monthly dues are very reasonable. Better than YMCA but not as good as Lifetime.

Positive experience: Best kids pool! It's separate from a big one and very shallow. So parent can sit and watch little once having fun. Tree house playground is amazing too! Biggest slide can be a little dangerous for a toddler who's not big enough (up to age 2 or so), but there is a little kids area too. Gym have all the equipment needed. Yoga classes are very nice! Childcare is not so good. The only time I left my kid there there was a teenage girl in charge and one adult lady, who was in the other room. And TV with cartoons was constantly on. Not a fan of that, because we limit screen time at home. In there it was non stop. That's why 4 starts. Otherwise love that place!

Positive experience: Fun place but they need more basketball ball courts

Positive experience: Very good group fitness schedules and make reasonable accommodations for groups wanting same resource like the pool. Can get pretty busy during peak time. Really only thing that probably needs attention are locker rooms which are tight quarters. Pricing is very reasonable for the services offered. Reasonable policy to allow student one month cost while home at break.

Negative experience: Some unfriendly staff. About 10 tennis courts and one basketball court. Went to play basketball with my kids, court was full and half was closed for "tennis signing up". They did not even pay for the gym, the tennis women leader was very condescending towards me. While this was happening, I saw the board of open gym times and it said open gym. Add another basketball court. There's always open Tennis courts. Also, teach your staff how to show respect towards others. Thanks. Would not recommend.

Fantastic experience: Very nice facility. We took our 3 year old to the kids pool area, and he loved playing there. The treehouse is also excellent for kids of various ages. For $6 for access to both (for non-members), this is a steal.

Fantastic experience: Great place to take the family - especially for younger kids. We love the mix of the kids play area and pool for our kiddos. Guest day passes are 5 for young kids, 8 for kids over 14 / adults.

Fantastic experience: Nice place for family or to do a quick workout. Inexpensive, especially for Minnetonka Residents. Can get a year round plan for a pretty decent price. Tree house is awesome for the kids to burn off energy and pool is excellent and clean.

Positive experience: Great low key place for the family. Chlorine in the pool feels a but extreme, but I trust they know the levels they need.
