Negative experience: I had a bad experience with this gym. Another member decided to put his hands on me at this gym. I remained calm and did not physically respond. I get a call from the owner the following day to let me know I am banned. I didn’t break any rules here. The pulleys on the cable crossovers are shot. Only 1 squat rack. Bent leg extension. Cable on the lat pulldown is shot. Weird dumbbell handles. Take your money to someone that appreciates it

Fantastic experience: I’ve been working out here for about 4 years. It’s the perfect local gym. The new owners have been methodically redecorating and updating equipment, which has been a huge plus. I love that it’s never too packed for me to get in a good workout and has all of the equipment I need/want.

Fantastic experience: Great place to work out in South Beloit. The staff/owners are always a pleasure to see and talk with. I like to use the gym when I'm in town for business and have always provided me with a day pass option. 5-Star all the way!!

Negative experience: If you are black don’t go here you will be racially profiled for stealing like I was, I was contacted by south Beliot police station for letting my brother in with me to look for his belongings he left during the day, we used the PIN code no break in and they banned us.

Fantastic experience: $3 Fitness Exercise Classes. They are great. Brenda (the owner) teaches the classes I attend. Core/Strength. They are drop in classes, so you can just drop in when you are available. You don't need to be a gym member to attend classes. There is quite an assortment of classes, too. Zumba, Step, Strength, Pilates.

Fantastic experience: The Fitness Zone is a great gym if you are looking to get in shape. It is open 24hrs a day and there are never more than 20 people there at any time, so you never have to compete for a machine or treadmill. It has a real family environment. I have gotten to know a lot of the regulars, and it's a welcoming and non intimidating community.
