Positive experience: One of my favorite places to go when I want my toddler to burn some energy off for a few hours. It stays open late which is really nice. You have to call on the weekend because they do private parties but I've never had a problem with going. I take a snack and let him play for a few hours. The cost is reasonable and it's small so I feel he's safe. I can sit in the corner and let him play. It can sometimes get a little crowded but never to where I felt it was unsafe to play. The staff is always really friendly.

Positive experience: Equipment is good except the precore treadmills. Only 1 of the 5 will connect to your phone through Bluetooth. I like to be able to access my Precor account. I'm hopping this issue can be fixed soon.

Fantastic experience: It is so relaxed laid-back and everyone just has a good time if you need help there's always somebody to help you they've always got some sort of food to offer normally at a decent price something you could afford from popcorn to an ice cream cone to a donut a dime to a donut LOL It's very family-orientated. Fantastic experience: The staff routinely cleans the equipment, floors, materials, and restrooms. The staff are very friendly and greet you, and are totally cool with you asking them any questions and for help. Pricing is great.

Positive experience: Very kind staff who offered assistance. Open gym is helpful for caregivers to kiddos under 5. However, probably not best for kids who are not comfortable climbing up stairs, slides and such. I will probably come back closer to 2.5 or 3 years of age but nonetheless an entertaining morning play experience!

Positive experience: The banquet rooms are expensive for local residents considering it's park district and our tax money keep the place open, those rooms should be 75.00 a hour for Westchester residents, the kid jungle gym should be free with banquet room rentals just incase the kids want to play but they even charge for that, must be under new management, the residents needs to look into these new prices.

Positive experience: Decided to try out the gym so my wife and I could tagged turns working out while the kids played in the play box. We love the play area which is perfect for our kids who are 2.5 and 4 years. The gym seemed adequate but I have to take a star off for the showers, which are the worst I've encountered in 15 years working out. Group shower room not cubicles. Soap is hand soap as far as I could tell. Showers are operated by a push button like you find in public bathroom faucets, which gives you about 7 seconds of water per push, and took a good 5 minutes to warm up.

Fantastic experience: Great place for family gathering. We had our daughters baptism reception party and it was perfect for a party of 50 so happy with the staff very helpful. Our family complemented on the location and atmosphere an loved it aswell. More parties will be at mayfair Recreation center. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: I had my 2 year old's birthday party at the Forest the Fox Playbox. It was great. The max amount of ppl is 40, so keep that in mind. We had an attendant who left us alone and sat in the other room most of the time, she came out when the kids were in the play area and all the adults were in the dining room but otherwise didn't notice her. They provided a trash can on wheels and kept emptying it a lot which was nice. They were also keeping an eye so no alcohol was around, which is fine because we abided the policy. Perfect spot for a kid's birthday party aged 2-5 probably. Was under $300 to rent for 3 hours, which is very reasonable compared to all the other places we looked at for an August birthday party. Highly recommended!
