Good Time Fitness is aware that personal training is all about making progress. Our personal trainers know that if you're getting stronger in the gym, you're also burning fat and gaining lean muscle! If you're looking to make a change, Good Time Fitness is located in Bellevue, Washington.

At Good Time Fitness, we don't push our clients too hard too fast. We take into account each person's age, fitness level, and any previous injuries before designing a workout plan that gradually increases in intensity. This way, our clients can avoid getting injured and stay motivated to reach their fitness goals.

We are all about making progress. If you're getting stronger in the gym, you're also burning fat and gaining lean muscle. This is why we make personal folders for all of our clients that contain the repetitions, resistance, and duration of each workout. This way we can make sure everyone is making progress!

We believe that training is more important than exercising. Training involves putting your body under a progressive overload every session and gradually increasing the amount of weight or reps from the last session. We don't determine a good workout based on how much you sweat or how tired you are. Training is the process of moving from your current level to where you want to be in order to achieve a specific goal.

We also use many of the concepts from Starting Strength: Basic Barbell Training 3rd ed. and Practical Programming for Strength Training 3rd ed. by Mark Rippetoe.

We teach exercises that involve compound movements, which use more than one joint. For example, the bench press and squat both use more than one joint. The bench press uses the elbows and shoulders, while the squat uses the hips and knees. We choose these exercises because they engage more muscle groups than exercises that only involve one joint, resulting in faster results.

We love free weights because they require more core engagement and involve the whole kinetic chain, which gets you more bang for your buck. Free weights are also practical to real life. Someone who trains with free weights is less likely to hurt their back while picking up a heavy box in the garage.

Good Time Fitness has some great personal trainers - they're always on time and they're really careful with what we do in our workouts. I'm glad I chose them, because I'm not on a diet and I've already lost 5lbs since I started training.

To help people enjoy exercise and make it a passive experience that leads them to find their own passion for fitness. Ultimately, this will help them sustain their fitness journey in the long-term and always track their progress to stay on route to achieve each client's specific fitness goals.

I started working out when I was 17 because I wanted to put on some muscle mass. After a few years of consistent training, I went from 120 pounds to 180 pounds. I noticed that people started treating me with more respect and I gained confidence in myself and my new body.

The gym has become a place where I feel comfortable and at home. I love training and helping other people reach their health and fitness goals. I went to college and got my Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science so that I could start my own personal training company.

Since I started working at Good Time Fitness, I've had the opportunity to train men and women of all ages, from teenagers to seniors. I've also been able to help some clients recover from injuries. I really enjoy being able to educate my clients about strength training and dispel any myths about it being dangerous. I love getting my clients started on their fitness journey and seeing their progress with each session!

Sam has a degree in Clinical Physiology and a background in Physical Therapy, which gives him a great understanding for exercise prescription and programming. He is also excellent at teaching the squat, bench press, deadlift, and overhead press. Sam understands that everyone has their own starting point and that everyone will progress at their own personal rate.

Drake has experience coaching people of all ages and backgrounds. He has helped 12-year-olds lift for the first time, and he has also helped 70-year-olds manage and overcome injuries. His diverse experience has given him the knowledge and skills to drive progress, prevent injury, and improve quality of life.

Outside of the gym, you'll find Drake hiking, camping, snowboarding, spending time with his family, eating, dancing, singing, or being the goof ball that he is.

We are always open to feedback and want to help you progress at a rate that is appropriate for you.  If you have a prior injury that makes any of our training methods uncomfortable, please let us know and we can modify it, tailoring sessions to your needs. Get started today with one of our skilled trainers!

There are many benefits to weight training for overall fitness, not just for bodybuilders who want huge muscles. Some benefits include increased bone density, improved joint function, and increased metabolism.

Weight training makes it easier to do daily activities and improve your overall fitness level. It's a myth that weight training alone will make you bulky. You would need to eat an overload of calories, take supplements, and more to achieve that result. Once you’ve shed a lot of fat weight, your muscles will show through, giving you that lean and toned look.

Weight training is more effective than cardio in the long term, as it takes less time and burns more calories. With weight training, your muscles become stronger (not bigger) and will burn more fat when you’re not exercising (increasing your metabolic rate).

I have no prior gym experience and am not very fit. The thought of barbell training and lifting weights is very intimidating. Can you modify your program to make it more comfortable for me?

We mostly work with software developers, but we can train almost anyone. If you’re under the age of 18, you’ll need parental permission, however our youngest client is 13, and our oldest is 70 years old. While our clients come from all sorts of backgrounds, they have common fitness goals of fat loss, gaining lean muscle, and increasing overall strength.

Fantastic experience: ——SEE BELOW FOR RECENT MALICIOUS REVIEWS —— TL;DR —> Clean, judgement-free weightlifting gym where highly educated trainers will get you where you need to go in your exercising journey. General Comments: I’ve been working out at this gym now for over 2.5 years, since it’s opening back in 2020. The trainers at Goodtime are hands down the most knowledgeable and patient people I’ve ever had the pleasure of working out with. I have to thank Nate (the owner of Goodtime Fitness and trainer) for assisting me through every stage of my strength/body building journey. How it compares to other gyms: In the past, when working out at other public gyms I felt as if I was being judged by regulars or highly experienced lifters. Even the gyms (such as Planet Fitness) which brand themselves as “Judgement Free” gyms suffered from this very same issue. However, at Goodtime Fitness you will feel respected and given the space necessary to grow… no judgement, no bs. It is a smaller gym and there are no machines so take that as you will, but that’s also not the focus of Goodtime Fitness. It focuses on practical and safe exercises/movements to get you to your fitness goals (again, all while being guided by a great training team). In sum, you’ll be working with highly experienced trainers while escaping thing more toxic characteristics of larger gyms. Cleanliness: Not much to say aside from exceptionally clean and well kept! Recent Malicious Reviews: There have been various 1 star reviews recently that have come from people who have never worked out at the gym before (hopefully they’ll be taken down soon). These people are simply upset that their cars were towed after they repeatedly and illegally parked their cars in spots around the gym. I ask that you look at the other glowing reviews about this gym. These recent malicious reviews are irreconcilable to the outstanding reputation that Goodtime fitness has earned since it’s opening.

Fantastic experience: I've been training with Nate for a few years, ever since he was at Iron Works. Nate is an incredible trainer and with his help, I've significantly increased my strength and muscle. Additionally, all the people in my small group sessions have been so kind and welcoming, which greats a great atmosphere. Highly recommend Good Time Fitness.

Fantastic experience: I am a 75 year old woman and have been working with Nate for a year and a half, it has been life changing for my health. Good Time Fitness is a safe comfortable place to strengthen the body and fight aging. Nate's workout technique slowly, painlessly increased my strength to dead lifting 100 lbs so far. He keeps track of my progress so each session is a continuation of the past sessions covering all the muscles of the body. Nate and Drake are very knowledgeable, they care about your health and with one on one training makes it fun. Good Time Fitness trainers have a wide breadth and depth of knowledge with degrees in Nutrition and Exercise Science.

Fantastic experience: I've been training with Nate since early 2020. He and Drake are always professional and friendly with clients. They meet traines at their level and ensure they keep improving and meeting their goals.

Fantastic experience: Nate is hands down one of the best and most genuine trainers in the area! He cares about each of his clients and will work hard to help them reach their goals. If you're a beginner or an advanced lifter, Nate is hands down the best trainer in the area!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been training with Nate for over three years. He is the best!

Fantastic experience: It is interesting to read these condo residents reviews who think they do not have to follow the home owner covenants. There are signs at the parking spaces that clearly state they should not be parking in the retail spaces. Where do they think these signs came from? They are now trying to intimidate the businesses with their phony reviews and ratings. They have not been clients of these businesses so they have no right to be posting reviews or ratings. If they want to change things, they should do it through the appropriate channel which is their home owners association. I would like to warn them that their IP addresses are being recorded by Google and they are risking additional fines and damages if the business community chooses to go after them for defamation. There have been previous cases just like this. Google it.

Fantastic experience: I have been training with Nate for quite some time now. I was a complete newbie to strength training before I started. With Nate's guidance, I have made significant progression across all the exercises over the last year. During semi-private personal training sessions, he ensures that every client gets his undivided attention when they are actively lifting weights and provides valuable insights. I highly recommend Nate and Good Time Fitness!

Fantastic experience: Not related to the owner at all but have become a good friend over the years of working out at Good Time. Whether you are a beginner or seasoned lifter, this is the spot. It's clean and has some of the best equipment you can find. The diversity is a huge advantage to this gym. Their coaching staff covers everything from rehabbing joints and regaining mobility, to dipping your toe into getting in shape, to belting up for a huge deadlift or squat. It's a badass gym and I am proud to be a member!

Fantastic experience: Great instructors. Nate is very nice and experienced and help me gain A LOT leg muscle.

Fantastic experience: Reasonable price compared to other fitness studios in the area. It is a small studio but I like the private gym vibe. As a fitness beginner, I feel safe and not judged. = About the malicious reviews = +1 for Nils' most recent review. I have been training with Nate on and off for a couple of years. I never felt any pressure about getting pushed to buy more services. In fact, there is a waiting list for new clients. For the "high price", you can easily tell it is a lie by reading the plan price on their website.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been working out for almost 2 years at good time fitness. The staff is amazing and welcoming. When you first enter, all your worries melt away because you can feel and see that each client is taken care of. I highly recommend Drake as a trainer. He is able to accommodate and break down each step and movement until it makes sense for you. He also pushes you in the best way possible and celebrates when you reach goals. Highly recommend this place!

Positive experience: The coach here is highly qualified, however, the pricing structure is not equitable; they offer their long-term members much lower prices than what they advertise to new customers, claiming that rates will increase over time.

Fantastic experience: I have been training with Drake for the past 7 months and I am pleasantly surprised by how much I have come to enjoy weightlifting. Drake has helped me to build my strength gradually and the process has been both enjoyable and educational. He is very attentive and tailors each workout to my progress, explaining everything in detail and ensuring that I am doing it correctly. He is very motivating and pushes us to our limits, but he also pays close attention to our form to make sure we don't get hurt. If you are looking for a personal trainer, I highly recommend giving Drake a try.

Fantastic experience: I'm absolutely thrilled to have been training with Sam and Nate for the last 7 months! It's the ideal spot for anyone who wants to quickly shed fat and build muscle. Before starting here, I had no idea how much of an impact weight training would have on my body transformation. The weight training here is straightforward and incredibly effective; I've learned a lot about deadlifts, squats, bench presses, and more. Thanks so much for helping me become stronger!

Fantastic experience: I worked out with the folks at Good Time Fitness for almost a year. I started working out with Rob and now train with Nate. I have had an amazing experience with both of them so far. This was my first introduction to weightlifting and my techniques are now perfect. I have gained so much strength than what I previously had. I cannot recommend good time fitness enough.

Fantastic experience: I have been working with Nate for 6 months and the outcomes have been remarkable! My stomach is almost gone and I have gotten bigger than ever before. Nate personalized the program to suit my needs and objectives and made sure I was progressing in the right direction. The best part is that he made the whole experience enjoyable instead of it being a dreadful task like at other places!

Yang You 4 years ago

Fantastic experience: I trained with both Nate for 1 session and Rob for 5 sessions so far and have already seen strength gains. In less than a month, I was able to make steady progress each time with efficient but challenging workouts. While they do emphasize the core powerlifting sets of squats, deadlifts and benchpress, I find these workouts to build a great foundation for strength compared to the random routines in cross-fit gyms. I'm consistently a bit sore after working out with them which means I'm pushing myself harder than I would normally without a personal trainer. Nate and Rob were both very patient, gently corrected my form when necessary, and kept meticulous track of my progress. I would definitely recommend giving Nate or Rob a try if you're looking for a personal trainer.

Fantastic experience: Nate is awesome. I think everyone has clearly stated that and I would say so myself. As someone who wanted to focus on form, Nate took the time to correct me, never rushing things and making sure my form was right. He is very easy to talk to and is not pushy whatsoever. I've recommended a few people to see him if they are looking for a personal trainer. Great guy and knowledgeable of the subject. Strength results are showing up very quickly and I can't wait to get back to training with him. Keep it up Nate!

Fantastic experience: I worked with Nate for almost two years before he started his own gym. He was my trainer. I started with a promotion plan for new customer. I didn't expect I can go through the training at that time. But Nate made me believe in his philosophy and stayed into the program. I started with once a week and in the summer time twice. Every time, Nate work with me everything try to hit the best weight in squat, and we alternatively train another one, either overhead press or bench, plus a set of pull up. The training was not exhausting but it was very challenging and effective. After 6 months of the simple squad exercise, It surprised me how much my body has been transformed. I didn't lose weight, but l can tell I looked better and I felt stronger. Honestly squat is boring, but Nate took notes for every single set and it gradually becomes interesting because you started to measure and challenge yourself with your own record. Now I really appreciate what Nate has presented me the experience that I didn't have before. From time to time I feel proud of having a strong physical foundation and more confident in many sports I like to try.

Fantastic experience: I had no experience in lifting weights and came across Nate and selected him as my personal trainer and I am very happy I did that. He has been helping me to achieve my fitness goals ever since. I started seeing good progress within first month itself. He will gauge your progress and show you how to get better and better. He will show you the right form, help with techniques and also give diet suggestions. Had a workout break for couple of months? He will help you get back in form. Have a big vacation planned with no access to gym? He will help you layout a home workout plan. He will listen to all your workout and diet questions patiently and will give answers to them. All in all, I look forward working with him more and more.

Fantastic experience: Nate is professional, systematic, patient and excellent at teaching the barbell lifts. Weightlifting is the most efficient method of increasing ones fitness and strength; and Good Time Fitness will help you do just that. The only thing holding you back from attaining your fitness and strength goals is you.

Fantastic experience: Would definitely recommend this place if anyone is looking for a place to exercise or for a personal trainer. My trainer, Sam was the most awesome trainer anyone could ever found. He is very mindful of the state that your body is in to ensure the best routine is practiced to achieve your goal and at the same time not hurt your body. He is very knowledgable about all the science behind all the trainings and how to get posture right to make sure the trainings are most effective. He is also very kind and easy to work with. Nate, who help me with setting up the payments, is also very friendly and helpful! Great place to train and get stronger!

Fantastic experience: Nate is a very passionate trainer with good personality. I have been training with him for almost a year now. I am only working out once a week and a few months ago I already realized significant changes (in very good way) in my body and energy. Absolutely exceeding my expectations.

Fantastic experience: With Nate, you're going to get strong and have fun. Good Time Fitness lives up to its name! Before I started training, I felt anxious because I didn't know anything about weights, had little muscle, and didn't want to make a fool of myself in the gym. After just one session with Nate I already felt at home! It's been nine months since I started and I still look forward to my training sessions. Beyond learning proper technique, each week I know I'm getting stronger because Nate takes detailed notes and the weights get heavier! I also know I can achieve any goal I set my mind to thanks to seeing real change from my small weekly commitments with Good Time Fit. The most rewarding outcomes have been waking up each day with more energy and seeing my physical transformation in the mirror. Good Time Fit helps me be the best version of myself. You owe it to yourself to be the best you can be.

Fantastic experience: I have been training with Nate for over 6 months. Nate keeps tracks of my progress meticulously. Nate patiently listens to my needs, provides ways to improve my postures and gradually pushing my limits. After every session with Nate, I feel energetic for rest of my day. Nate is extremely flexible with scheduling and very accommodating in many instances. I'm thankful to work with Nate and totally recommend for anyone looking for personal training.

Fantastic experience: I have been training with Nate for over 8 months and he is truly amazing, very professional and knowledgeable too. He introduced me to weight training and I have made so much progress with his help. Thank to him I’m now stronger and more confident, and will keep training until I’m can’t move anymore one day. Nate is great and I will highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a trainer. Come to Good time fitness if you wanna be fitter and learn how to train, and have a good time!

Fantastic experience: I've been training with Nate for two month at good time fitness. He is professional and friendly. He has very detailed training plan and keeps close track with my progress. I've had lots of improvements, feeling very happy and will definitely keep going.

Fantastic experience: I've been training with Sam since August and it's been a real game changer for me. I went from being intimidated in the weights section of the gym to feeling like I belong! Everyone has been so nice and welcoming, which makes it that much easier to train. Sam is patient and personable, but isn't afraid to push me to reach new personal records.

Fantastic experience: I highly, highly recommend Nate. I trained with him for 3 months and only stopped because I no longer live in the area. I looked forward to each session, not only because I was excited to see how much I was progressing, but also because Nate is such a pleasant person to be around. He made working out fun while also challenging me to do better and work harder each session. Nate helped me get over my fear of the squat bar and deadlifts by teaching me proper form; I now feel stronger than I have ever felt before. Look no further for a trainer - Nate is the way to go!

Fantastic experience: No exaggeration, working with Sam at Good Time Fitness has been life-changing. As a 29-year-old guy, I've never regularly exercised before, and wanted to get into better shape. At our initial meeting, Sam and I talked about goals and plans for me. Once we started my workout routine, I was able to see results almost immediately. I lost the extra fat around my face, and have seen a lot of increase in strength and muscle mass. I get compliments from my family when we get together about my progress. Sam has been very helpful in responding to my needs and working around any injuries or last-minute scheduling changes. I highly recommend Good Time Fitness.

Elise Lee 4 years ago

Fantastic experience: I have been working with Sam over 8 months and he totally changed the quality of my life! Sam asked me what is my number one goal in our first day, and I said I want to be strong and bring more energy. I was always tired and lack of energy at that time even I was doing my own exercise regularly. I tried many other workouts but they made my chronic neck pain worse due to bad posture that I didn't aware. After working with Sam once a week, I started to feel the difference from the first month. My neck and back pain is much less, and my husband also noticed that I am more positive and have less complain on everything. Sam always shows detailed attention to every small thing during my workout and try to make it work with various approaches. Now I am trying to build hiking endurance by finishing hard course every week to challenge myself more. It would never have been possible to do that if I haven't built my basic strength from the training with Sam. I am so happy to know Sam, and have this opportunity to live a life with different level of energy!

Fantastic experience: Nate is the best trainer I have trained with. He is very meticulous and in addition to the workout session he explains how the exercises help me in getting the results that I want. Nate is a super amicable and funny person. We end up talking about different topics under the sun and I always look forward to my training sessions with Nate. I've grown a lot stronger in the last few months than I have ever in last few years working out under different trainers. He is very knowledgeable and knows what is the best for me. I would highly recommend Nate to all my friends.

Fantastic experience: Let's start off by saying that I found Nate/Good Time Fitness with a Groupon in November, and wasn't initially planning on staying with him past that. However, now 5 months later I'm still training with him, and have referred a couple friends to see him as well. So he's awesome, and if you're interested in power or Olympic lifting despite being a complete beginner definitely give him a shot! I've tried other trainers and kickboxing in the past, but nothing was really working for my goal of weight loss. I went to him wanting to learn proper powerlifting technique, and lifting with Nate has been the only thing that's shown great lasting results without killing myself with extreme dieting and 5x a week workouts. I've leaned out and gotten much stronger since I started in November. Nate is very nice and laid back, notes all your fitness progress during each session, listens to your fitness goals and pays close attention to your technique- On top of answering all your weird fitness and food questions with a bit of humor thrown in :)

Abhinav Sharma 6 years ago

Fantastic experience: Nate is great. Its as simple as that. He is extremely professional, punctual and great to hang around with. His philosophy is simple - the way you build muscle is by progressive overload of weights over time, which has to be supplemented by a good diet. He was able to understand my goals and execute on them well. I have been reading on a lot of training programs to build muscle and I've found that whatever Nate does suggest in his training resonates with the recommended practices. So he definitely knows what works and what doesnt. He's knowledgeable about the correct forms/postures of exercises which is of paramount importance as you're lifting higher weights. I spent around 30 sessions with him and I would definitely recommend him as a trainer for someone who is looking to really understand the science behind weight lifting and expecting to see results. He has some big ambitions with his career ahead and Im sure he will achieve them with the discipline and commitment he has shown not only to me, but several of his other clients.

Fantastic experience: I have been training with Nate for 6 months. I was trying to prepare for my 4 day 3 night hike along the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu in July. That would be my first ever hike. I knew nothing about strength training when I just started. Nate taught me how to do squats, deadlifts, and overhead presses correctly. I really like his approach of progressive overload. It is great to see myself getting stronger week by week. The Inca Trail has a lot of ups and downs. Even though I was among the slowest in my group, I was able to handle the steep steps. After the hike, I had no muscle sore nor keen pain. The training really paid off. Nate is a great person to work with. He is always on time and very patient. I highly recommend Nate.

Fantastic experience: I am very pleased to work with Nate on my weight training. Nate is a nice guy always with smile. I enjoyed talking with him on both training related stuffs as well as random topics. He makes ambitious but attainable goals for me, step by step. Over 1 and half months my weight pounds almost doubles. I feel pressure but still not very hard to get progresses. This shows his expertise for the training. Nate is also helpful and willing to answer all kinds of questions. I made progress with him and am very happy. Strongly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I started working with Nate about 4 months ago. Nate works with me weekly and is very supportive and helps me improve my weight training each week. Nate is very patient during my work outs and knows when to motivate me to push forward my weights. In my time training with Nate, I have lost a pants size but not as much weight as I'd hoped. However, I have gained muscle and strength. When I first started I was really out of shape and had trouble with the weights we were doing. However, now I can squat 185 pounds which is more than half my body weight. I would have never thought I would be lifting this much and it wouldn't have happened without the Nate encouraging me the whole way. In responds to my training, I feel stronger and more balance. I'm able to walk a full length of stairs without getting short of breath and I have more energy. I have seen my progress in a different way. I would encourage anyone to receive training from Nate.

John Pollard 7 years ago

Fantastic experience: I started training with Nate over 6 months ago, and my understanding of weight lifting was minimal as I hadn't really done it since high school. He got me right into lifting while focusing on form and my results so far have been fantastic. I have zero back pain now, and I'm way stronger than I've ever been in my life. Nate has been incredibly patient answering the roughly 1,000 questions I ask per session, and has really taught me a ton about proper form and my diet. He's incredibly knowledgeable, and a fun dude to work out with. I look forward to the progress I'll make in the next 6 months, and the positive lifestyle changes I've made for years to come. You owe it to yourself to go with Nate as your personal trainer and see some real results!

Fantastic experience: I’ve trained with Nate for over a year and look forward to every session. He is kind, knowledgeable, a good listener, and great to work with. As we work on exercises and lifts consistently over time, he is very good at giving me new insights and things to think about regarding my approach and technique – this really helps me keep progressing. I highly recommend Nate to anyone ready to take improving their fitness and health seriously!

Jui Potale 7 years ago

Fantastic experience: I started training with Nate after I found a groupon deal.I wanted to tone my body and thought this was a great opportunity to start. I was also under assumption that I was fit but when I joined I soon knew I was wrong.I basically joined only to reduce the love handles. Now after almost 2 months when I see myself slimmer than ever and in shape. I could not have achieved this without Nate's help. Working with Nate brought me to a whole new level of fitness. He guided me with the nutrition and also for workout for those days when I dont visit him.He always pushed me to my max. What more could you ask for in a training experience? I feel like the sessions are great investment for myself, while in the short term Nate has helped me become more fit and healthy. In the long term I feel like I have the right foundation on which I can start to build on. This is a great place to start your training to improve your fitness, I would recommend this to anyone who is interested in workout and dying to have a good shape.

Fantastic experience: I always look forward to my sessions with Nate. He has been working with me for just over a year and my results are pretty awesome. We've been able to target and improve fatty, stubborn areas. I'm stronger and more toned than I ever could be, left to my own devices. I appreciate that Nate pushes me to work hard, but also respects my limitations. I have no reservations recommending Nate to anyone who wants a patient, knowledgeable and sometimes funny personal trainer. He will work hard to help you achieve your fitness goals.

Fantastic experience: Nate is extremely knowledgeable about a variety of ways to work with fitness and nutrition. He is a good listener and is constantly researching new information about how to adjust both diet and training to be more effective and is always excited to talk about new findings. His training sessions are pretty intensive but I find myself looking forward to the next session. I highly recommend Nate, he does his part perfectly. I'm very happy how I look now; I started to see results from two months of training. Since then have become leaner, stronger, and more physically fit.

Fantastic experience: I have been working with Nate since Sep, 2015 in Transform 180 fitness center twice a week and I am really satisfied with his ability to guide me in lifting weights the right way which I have been trying to do multiple times in the past. His technique is his strength and he corrects me whenever I do it wrong. After chalking out my goals, we focused primarily on doing Squats, Bench, Deadlift. I have seen dramatic improvement in my physique, gaining muscles and losing fat. I highly recommend to train from Nate.

Manuj Mittal 7 years ago

Fantastic experience: I joined Nate and Charith's Seattle-Belltown gym (Transform 180), with a primarily goal of strengthening my knees, which were showing signs of fatigue after years of abuse while running and climbing. Charith and Nate analyzed my problem and set me up on a strengthening routine. I started seeing results fairly quickly and I am looking forward to regaining my old knee strength; in fact, I have already signed up for a race in October. I train with Nate, and he is an amazing coach. He relentlessly works with me to get the form right, and keeps on trying various tricks until I do. He keeps the routines challenging, as well as fun, which takes the sting out of hitting the gym on a regular basis. He is extremely knowledgeable and explains the science behind all the moves to help me understand how a particular routine would help me move towards my fitness goals. I always train with Nate, but have also done a couple sessions with other trainers as well, and they are all knowledgeable and fun.

Fantastic experience: Nate has been my trainer for the last 11 months and it shows. Since I started working out with Nate, I have felt better about my fitness and health, in general. Nate was able to calibrate well with my skill. I started out at the beginner level but Nate kept raising the bar at a manageable rate which allowed me to get the most out of my workouts. My favorite part is that in between my sets, I can have a fun conversation with him without feeling like I am in a very serious environment. Working out with Nate has been a great experience for me and I am looking forward to the next few months.

Fantastic experience: Nate is a great trainer! I've been training with him for several months. Nate is very professional, friendly and caring. He always insists on proper forms and is very good at pushing my limits. The results are pretty good so far. My strength improves significantly and even though my weight stays the same, I notice that my waist is getting smaller. I highly recommend him to anyone who's looking for a personal trainer!

Fantastic experience: I worked out with Nate four months. I had concerns about injuries caused by heavy lifting, and he taught me the right pose for squat, deadlift, bench press, and shoulder press. Before meeting him, my max. weight for heavy lifting has been plateaued for a couple of months. However, since working out with him, I could be able to lift more. For example, my max. squat increased from 185lbs to 220lbs; since I am confident that I won't be hurt, I could be able to try harder and harder.

Fantastic experience: I started training with Nate in July,2015. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking to get fit the right way. The workouts are intense but the results are phenomenal. I may have lost only a few pounds on the scale but my body has changed dramatically. I have trained with personal trainers earlier but Nate has been exceptional. My workouts are well structured and crafted to how I feel on a particular day. Nate and I have worked around my weak back, knee, wrist and I feel stronger than ever before. I highly recommend him. No matter what your fitness goals are he can help achieve it.

Fantastic experience: Nate's personal training with me over the past 6 months has definitely been what I needed to repair my badly torn knee ligament. He is persistent in pushing me beyond what even I think I can manage. I definitely have greater endurance and strength just doing everyday activities as a result. As an older neophyte to the world of personal training, I really appreciated Nate's gentle encouragement and patience with me. I recommend him because I have seen results!

Fantastic experience: I trained with Nate for over 6 months, only 2 times a week. I am now skinny! And have a very low body fat percentage. Aside of the changes my body has had, I also don't have anymore back pain and my daily activities that used to seem like a workout are now easier. I felt confident with his training because he would write down all the progress I was making and then show it to me. Nate is easy going and a very nice person. He makes me feel comfortable while training. I recommend him to anyone who is interested in training and seeing results.
