Negative experience: Randomly and out of nowhere shut down and transfered the memberships over to LA Fitness. Would be nice if they were actually honest and told us more information then just announcing there closing like a drunk text the night before they closed.
Negative experience: This gym just closed down out of nowhere. I received an email that 12/20/2022 is the last day to open. Lol

Negative experience: Fraud gym. I paused my account and was sick. The person on site told me they'll give me a call when they resume. Charged me a whopping 240$. Save yourselves from this fraud.

Negative experience: Went into the desk at 1pm on Thursday 9/1/22 to use a guest pass and try out the gym and they turned me away because I "wasn't a local" even though I had a Renton (highlands) address on my ID. This gym is close to my work location but they did tell me that I could sign up for a membership - so they're willing to sell a membership to a "non-local" but not let me even try the gym first before I buy. This gym is only 11 miles from where I live and 4 miles from where I work. I would not recommend this gym for anyone - BUYER BEWARE!!!
Fantastic experience: Was visiting from out of town and wanted to get a lift session in. Arseny was exceptionally helpful in getting my membership with crunch verified and really went out of his way to practice excellent customer service. Absolute bro.

Negative experience: WORST EXPERIENCE…. I should have cautioned myself from falling for there offer. Don’t consider this with out reading terms and conditions. Please take a free trail before signing up. I signed up online and my first visit was a nightmare. The equipments were dirty, so are the women’s restrooms. The shower area was broken. I decided this is not for me. Here comes the nightmare 1. They have 60days no cancellation fee. 2. You have to pay $55 of annual fee no matter when you joined. I lost my money. Their guest service is pathetic. Never seen such attitude towards clients. Pay them and get the worst customer service. I learned my lesson. Beware of this location.

Negative experience: Worst experience ever!!! DO NOT GO HERE! I can't believe how horrible the managers is. All they care about is your money!! And getting it by all means necessary. I asked them to cancel my membership because my new apartment had a gym but they wouldn't listen to me and tried to sign me up for classes instead! I declined and continued with the cancelation. A week later I got a call from collection that I didn't pay my last month. When I called them to ask they said my card declined (which is false) b/c literally an hour after that call I went to pay using the same card and it went through with no issues!!! You will be scammed here! Stay far away!!!!

Negative experience: Worst experience ever. We need to physically be there to cancel any membership and also cancellation is not immediate. Instead takes 10 days so we will be charged for the next month as well.

Fantastic experience: I’m here nearly 7 days a week for many hours each day. Pretty much everyone in the gym knows who I am on some level. The gym has good equipment and a friendly staff. Come work out with us!
Fantastic experience: I recently joined and I am totally inexperienced in personal fitness. The staff have been friendly and knowledgeable, and the personal trainers Ed and Emilio have been great at helping me develop a fitness plan.
Positive experience: Is good, but I noticed that nothing is on place. Customer service is really good.
Negative experience: Fraud people. They told me over the call that cancellation was completed but they didn't cancel. I came to knew via my bank statement. When I tried calling manager I never get call back from him even though I followed up with him for 4 times. The manager was rude and was not listening to me and instead he just kept saying about the process. Never recommend the gym bcus they don't help you with cancellation and try there best to keep me membership and falsely charge
Positive experience: I've been a crunch member for a long time in another state, and this one disappoints. The staff are very kind and helpful, which is nice. However there are no squat racks that aren't Smith machines, no platforms, and it's just smaller than I'm used to for a crunch.
Fantastic experience: So far so good. I joined via Active & Fit. No fuss, no long term commitment which works out well for me because I like changes. The nice front desk staff welcomed me, initiated my account and showed me how to use the app to sign in, book classes, etc. The instructors (Stephen and Cheryl) have been phenomenal. Free locker access and hydromassage. Clean showers.
Positive experience: Unfortunately there is no way to cancel the subscription once enrolled, unless you go personally and cancel it.. how weird it is.
Fantastic experience: I pretty much only go for Zumba classes. It’s a bummer that you have to get the more expensive membership to go to classes, but I enjoy them! Mila is SO MUCH fun and the other instructors are great too!

Fantastic experience: Ed is great! He gave my fiance a complimentary training session to make up for the one she missed (through no fault of her own) even though policy stated they normally wouldn't be able to do this. Really appreciate him helping us out and he was very friendly. I hope he gets a promotion and a raise for his excellent customer service skills!

Negative experience: “Do Not Go There’!!! The owner Krista, only cares if she takes your money. I had emergency brain surgery and had to call and cancel. Coming in or going online at the time was not an option. The guy I had spoken to seemed understanding, but didn’t follow through. I noticed charges still being changed on my account and Krista refuses to even return some of my funds. I had even prepaid paid a huge amount for a personal trainer. Which I also lost. There are better, more professional gyms out there.

Positive experience: I go to Crunch Fitness for classes such as Zumba, Yoga sculpt, Cardio Tai Boxing and Pilates and sign up for classes using Classpass. Classes are fun and interesting and always on time. Recommend you to check out this gym for a fun and a great workout!
Negative experience: What a scam. I have moved away from crunch and also started having gout due to kidney disease. I tried multiple times to ask for cancellation and they just ignore me. Do not give a cent to this company, they are awful.
Negative experience: I used to go to crunch fitness in my high-school years, My last visit there was about 6 years ago, my mothers debit card was on their file and I totally forgot about it and they kept charging it, till months ago that my mother got a new debit card and just now I got a call from a collection agency trying to collect more than 200 dollars! I called crunch fitness and asked them to at least forgive this balance and they refused! They have been changing me for the past 6 years and thats not enough for them!

Negative experience: Communications from Manager is not at all accurate.Wrong promises were done about cancellation. We were told that we will get email notifications before being charged which never happened 04-12-21 Update - Thats correct in Sep we did get an email about the freeze end date but we were also promised over the phone by manager 2 times that we will be informed over phone call/ email before being charged / before our account is unfreezed which never happened.

Due to the mass number of people freezing their accounts, we do not have the man power to call each member to inform them their account will be charged hence why we informed you the exact date that you would be charged.

Fantastic experience: Have had a great experience with Crunch since joining. The staff is very friendly and keep the place cleaned very well. The other members are great to get along with. The lifting equipment here is great for beginners to high intermediate. So it's a great place to learn if you are looking to begin weightlifting. Plenty of cardio machines to go around, so also a great pick if that's your thing. I haven't been to any, but they offer instructed classes (zumba, yoga, etc.) for those interested. The price is reasonable and much cheaper than the higher end clubs like LA Fitness.
Fantastic experience: Sept 16, 2020 update: you have to sign in with a clean pen and register your temperature. They give you a bottle of disinfectant and a towel to clean the equipment you'll use. Mask are required, not required while doing cardio. The space felt clean and safe. The staff is very helpful and nice.

Negative experience: Covid-19 has changed plans for all of us. I joined this gym with high hopes at the beginning of 2020 with great asperations of getting in shape. Then the pandemic hit. I have spent the last 2 years undergoing immunotherapy and steroids. I am in the high risk category for Covid-19 and have had to limit all of my human contact. I am not even allowed to enter my place of work until King County reaches Phase 4. The gym has now re-opened but I would like to cancel. I sent in an email with this request and it has now been an ongoing back and forth between me and someone at the gym (they never shared their name) I have been told that the only way to cancel my membership is to come down, in person, and fill out a form. No exceptions. No online alternatives or even mail in alternatives were given. They are forcing me to put myself at risk to fill out a form. Note: I have a month to month contract. I am not even attempting to break a long term agreement. I understand wanting to retain business, especially during these hard times. But, as a patron for almost a year now, they have made it abundantly clear that the dollar is more important then their customer base.
Negative experience: In December I left the Bellevue area so I requested one of the front office people to close my account and they provided the form (freeze form) , I filled and signed and returned back to the front office . I was not aware that it was the Freeze account form not the membership closing form. Till my credit card got charged I was under the impression that my account got closed and I am in new York not in Bellevue any more . This month my credit card got charged so I called the representatives in the front office and submitted the closing form one more time and the front office people agreed that they would be returning my money back . Still I didn't receive my money and today again I talked with the front office people and they are telling me that they can not return my money back. Truly I was instructed by the front office people and I completely not aware there is different form for closing the account , ok even in that case when fitness opens back after COVID time or once my freeze period got over you may want to check with me whether I am joining or not on this COVID time , If I confirmed only you may need to charge me if I am start using the fitness . Simply they charged money even though I didn't use it and it was not acceptable. In this COVID time without a job it is really tough to survive. I can not leave my money simply to crunch fitness even though I was not using it.

Negative experience: I was a former member in this club. It was the closest gym near my house. But I don't recommend this gym to anyone. This gym has a very high enrollment fee (not refundable). You can go to a better club if you willing to pay $105 enrollment fee + first monthly fee. I couldn't go to this club because I moved to CA. I think that the enrollment fee is unreasonably high. SO THINK CAREFULLY IF YOU REALLY WANT TO JOIN THE CLUB.

Negative experience: Gym itself it fine! However the staff... I tried calling for weeks to cancel my account (as I’ve moved) and no one ever answered. I was sure to always call during business hours and left a voicemails multiple times. So naturally because my account was never canceled I was charged an annual fee. Finally today someone actually answered the phone! Unfortunately she told me there’s nothing she can do and that I should have called 10 days ago, as well as I should have came in in person (even though I’ve moved)... So now I’m out money, on a gym I can’t even go to. save your time, save your money, go to a better gym, with better standards!

Fantastic experience: Great atmosphere, very friendly trainers, nice people working out. I recommend Crunch to anybody who would like to enjoy working out in a very clean and neat gym.
Fantastic experience: I have been a member in this gym for a long time and I love it. As you might have seen it, this gym is economical and the membership starts at 10 bucks per month. For folks who just need to work out and be fit this gym is ideal. You can't expect towel service, stream, sauna but locker, tanning and dry wave massage are available. I love the group classes which is available for peak membership. So if your need is just to be fit, this is a great place
Positive experience: Everything is fine here except for the hidden 40$ fees you pay in your 3rd month of subscription. Also, there is no pool/sauna .. But on the flip side you get free group fitness classes for 20/30$ packages. Overall decent gym.
Negative experience: WORST GYM! I registered a one-year membership at this gym in September 2017, and I thought the auto pay would be canceled automatically in 2018, but I just found they are still charging me extra money every month!

Negative experience: SCAM I normally don't give bad reviews on gyms since i used to own one few years back and because I know how hard it is to maintain the facility and trying to make clients happy but this gym (Grunch) is simply after your money. They made me paid $78 for my cancellation. And I came to find out that when i request to freeze my account which they end up ignored it. Overall they only care about how do they gain profit out of you. Also their free-weight space extremely small which lead into crowded area. There is only ONE shower space availablethe & rest of them are out of order. Negative experience: This business is just thriving on scamming members with all kind of hidden charges. I hardly used this gym in my 1+ year of membership as it very small,smelly and unclean, It will demotivate you and you wi come out sad every time you visit. When I cancelled they charged me $46 annual processing fee which was due in future months. Save your hard earned money,I am not recommending this gym.
Negative experience: I cancelled my membership last year but they kept charging me until I received a bill for $89. I called the club and the manager refused helping me or solving the issue. Worst ever experience with a fitness club. I would have given them a zero star.
Positive experience: I really enjoy my 5 visits per week to Crunch. The people are friendly. Great atmosphere. Good energy. My only complaint is that when something, like a broken machine or a faulty shower needs attention, there is no sense of urgency. I am a fan.
Negative experience: The manager she said her name is Alysa kelsey doesn't let me to freeze my account, even I told her I'm going out of country for 2 months, she give me hard time and persuade me not to freeze my account even after I told her I will cancel my membership. She act like it's okay for you to cancel your membership we don't need you ,there's alot of people still coming to this gym you're nothing, she even send me cancelation form to my email, that I didn't ask for. After almost a year become a member I think it's time for me to say goodbye to Crunch.

Negative experience: Horrible customer service When I asked for cancellation of my gym membership, they instead made me sign a freeze form and never bothered to tell me about the annual maintainance charges that will be levied. Although the information is present in the freeze form but as I was in a rush and I went ahead with the process only because I didn't want to say no to the person who proposed the idea of freezing the account, I feel violated as the gesture of refunding the amount would have been taken in right spirit and helped establish the brand of crunch. Now, I won't recommend anyone to this place... What I feel bad about this gesture is after having such a nice experience for over a year, this is what I will take away with me... Update: Even after below confirmation that my account has been cancelled, just noticed that Crunch continued to debit my CC for past 6 months. I would request the management/owner to look into it and refund the incorrect membership fees charged to me.

It directly states in the waiver you signed that the annual maintenance fee will be charged during the freeze. I spoke with the GM and she mentioned she canceled your account. Fantastic experience: One of the best part of Crunch is its great location in the heart of Bellevue. So, it always seems accessible and you tend to go there more. Equipments and machines are in huge number so I've never faced any queue or wait time. Good music and enough TV screens for engagement. They also maintain good cleanliness and hygiene in the gym area and restrooms. Plenty of lockers to keep your belongings safe. Helpful staff. In short, its a perfect fitness center you can have around and is extremely affordable.

Fantastic experience: Pleasantly surprised with this gym and the staff. Everyone is very friendly, and the environment is laid back. Some-what small free/range work out space, as machines take up most of the room. Great locker rooms and great features to all of their plans. I look forward to the growth of this gym and my muscles!

Negative experience: Dont join this place, I moved out of Seattle and asked to cancel my membership services, still they charged me. I have also paid maintainence fees for the whole year. Overall i can say your wont be refunded back in any case on top of it they will charge cancellation fee.

Just to go over the cancellation policy with you, that it is required to give 10 days notice before your next billing date so that you do not get charged the next months dues. If you cancel before those 10 days you won't be charged. However, if you did sign a 12 month contract with us, then you will owe the remaining half of your contract. But there is no cancellation fee. The annual maintenance fee is also a charge that every single member gets charged regardless of how long they are with us. I am sorry you were unaware of this policy when cancelling. I hope that where ever you moved to you give Crunch another chance :)
