Fantastic experience: One of the best gyms I've ever used. Tons of squat racks and every kind of equipment you could want. I wish the membership options were more flexible but the staff are all awesome.

Negative experience: I’ve been a member of this company for about 7 years. When i started it was great. Not sure what has changed over the years with corporate but it has gone significantly downhill hill. I’m guessing since they aren’t in competition with golds gym anymore they don’t care to keep improving, yet charge more.

Negative experience: This place is disgusting. Nothing gets put away by anyone, and every member thinks they own the place. All the equipment is always loaded with plates and members could care less about anyone else. Staff is a bunch of immature children that management has no control over. None of the staff could care less about the rules and they constantly watch people leave their weights on equipment. Also, members of the club are constantly messing around making it extremely dangerous for those of us who are serious in the gym (ex. I was benching 315 and some dude obnoxiously danced into my barbell mid rep). Staff also does not care if you buzz in or not and I can garuntee a large portion of the individuals causing problems, especially at night, don’t even have a membership here. Shame on you management, this is a disgusting excuse for a gym, I hope corporate comes and cracks down on you because you make this company look horrible. In the 14 years I have lifted, I have been to 30+ gyms and this is by a landslide the worst environment I have ever seen. Do better.

Negative experience: My son cancelled his membership in person and was told he would be charged 2 months membership fee for cancelation. They continued to charge him for several months more and when he contacted them they said their system had been messed up but was working now and they would correct it. The way they corrected it was to charged him two months cancelation fee and not refund the months they charged him due to their error. Poor customer service and auto bank drafts are easy for them to steal your money and hard to get it back!!!

Negative experience: The majority of the gym is only accessible to clients who pay the ever increasingly higher prices…and the percentage of people that actually use it doesn’t make it worth the space being wasted. Take out the stretch zone that I NEVER see anyone go in. The other rooms barely ever get used either. Open those up to utilize the space to the majority of members. Also, there are 3 and I mean 3 stretch mats in the grass area. I’ve asked about ordering more cause even those are torn up. We pay higher and higher prices and this place is going down hill faster than Golds did. Stop increasing prices and giving us less and less. The 3 sometimes 4 people manning the front desk spend more time on their phone then actually working, there’s one person cleaning and the new male manager here literally never has a kind or approachable attitude. Always on his phone or staying hidden. And don’t let me start about the horrible music they have always played on loop that just keeps getting more and more annoying to have to listen to. Don’t come without your own headphones and music. Basically, don’t join here if you’re thinking about it.

Negative experience: The gym is great. The only thing that drags it down drastically for me is how thin the benches are especially the bench press benches, they are so thin that I feel like I have to fight myself in order to stay on it. It’s very unpractical for me. Everything else is great but the benches definitely need to be wider. I am someone who has a hip replacement and having my hip pretty much off the bench because of how first of short it is. I’m 6’1 and I have to adjust myself all the time because it’s to short and unfit for tall people and people of a wider body. I find it hard to go above 225 on it. I feel like I might fall off the bench because of how thin it is. Weights are kind of everywhere and people never wipe down or clean up after themselves. The staff when I first got in also were extremely rude I didn’t know how the app worked and I asked the front desk and the lady working there refused service. People also have a staring problem here too. And the personal trainers are sometimes nasty. Ive seen one of the male trainers taking inappropriate pictures with the stall open whilst helping someone outside the men’s locker room. It’s genuinely disgusting.

Negative experience: I was told by two male employees that I could use my legacy membership here because I moved away from my home location. They said they let Fairview and Collinsville members use O'Fallon all the time (big dude and purple-hair dude). I go in today, and I get flagged by a different employee saying I have to upgrade from the $20 to the $34 plan to use this location. My husband had to upgrade, but we can't afford for me to. Truly awful service, no working with you and no room for life circumstances. They won't even change my home location because then they won't get more money. Either way, it comes down to screwing the customer over. No thanks, I'm not going to be taken advantage of anymore.

Negative experience: It's a shame that Club Fitness has decided to change their membership prices so that women who would enjoy the comfort of a women's only weight room to make their gym experience more enjoyable... have to pay 10 dollars more for access to this vital space.
Negative experience: The people at this gym are horrible. No one puts away weights, especially the personal trainers, the cleaning towels are routinely empty. They raise prices way too often. There are better gyms out there. Skip this one.
Negative experience: I cancelled my membership in August. I got a collection notice for 220 dollars in the mail. They make it impossible to cancel their membership.
Negative experience: The club downgraded my membership without communicating with me. Now they want 30.00 a month for what I paid 11.99 a month last year. Common sense would have told them to stop taking money ask people if they want the downgrade. I am canceling back to Planet Fitness.
Negative experience: Downgraded benefits and increased prices. A member since 2018 and all I needed was 24 hour access to the gym. Now for that basic option I had to upgrade my membership. I do understand that prices have increased and I would have been ok with a price increase had a conversation taken place that due to rising costs we need to increase your membership a bit but the benefits you originally signed up for will remain. Instead I arrive at the gym early one morning and my key won’t work. I will say other than this I have never had any issues with the gym. The staff has always been great and the gym is maintained and clean.
Negative experience: They have downgraded membership and increased price without notice. Half the time (before they downgraded membership) you couldn’t use a massage lounge because staff members were using it for two or three sessions. Moving to another gym with lower membership and more benefits. Already seen others at new gym from this one. Same reason they moved too.
Negative experience: Update It appears Matt’s solution was very short lived. Again after upgrading to get the 24 hour access that I had, I can no longer get in. This is Really frustrating. Let’s fix this now. R Gilbert
Negative experience: can not access gym after 6pm on a weekend as they punish members who have been paid members for years. They down grade membership with very limited access with no warning or no option to change status . Poor policy . I will be dropping membership. Update: looking for a good alternative for a gym on weekend evenings, try McKendree MetroRecPlex. Nice vibe, open airy atmosphere , and nice equipment.
Negative experience: Why do I have to come into the store to ask a simple 1 minute question because this location does know how to keep the phone on the hook. 2 days I’ve been trying to call because I didn’t have time to go in and I have to just to ask 1 question…. What the heck
Fantastic experience: Clean gym with lots of equipment always available. Had Cody G. for a trainer and it was a 10/10 experience. I have an autoimmune disease that made working out a little complicated but from day 1 Cody did his research to make sure that he understood what I needed to avoid or be careful with. He understood I couldn’t push myself too hard and had a “no injury” first approach while still motivating me. He kept me accountable with workouts and nutrition every step of the way. Thanks to Cody I understand how to use gym machines and feel confident in my ability to workout by myself.
Positive experience: Gym is a great gym. Great equipment. No issues with the overall gym as far as working out. They have everything you need as far as cardio, machines, free weights and so on.. I'm having an issue with billing constantly charging secret late fees when I have auto pay. The phone is always busy so you basically have to go in if you want a conversation. Customer service could be alot better.
Fantastic experience: I love this CF so much. They really do a great job of keeping the gym spotless, and well equipped. Love that they added the hip thrust/glute machine and more Olympic lifting racks. Staff are great too. I was away for 5 months for work and could not wait to get back to “my” gym. It’s my favorite in the St Louis area and I’ve been to most of them.

I love the staff here, they're always so friendly. ❤️ One time, my husband had an issue with the automatic payment, and they were sooo sweet about the whole situation. Also I LOVE the women's gym. Their smoothies are mid, though, but overall, it's a pretty great club! Update: The women's bathroom is always gross, like someone always has a blow out and I don't blame the staff cause I wouldn't clean that nasty ish.... Anywho, everything else is good. I LOVE the stretch room but it seems like the staff also loves them cause they're always in the massage chairs I'd like to use but again I don't blame them cause if I was on a break I'd definitely take advantage of that!

Positive experience: Would be five stars if the bench presses were adjustable (all flat benches taken up and all incline benches not being used) and if there was a glute ham raise machine. Sauna is stinky and bathrooms are always dirty also.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing atmosphere! When you are looking for good vibes while having all the variety needed in a workout, this is that place! The staff, the other members, the ambience, all great! No feeling insecure in this place, plus it's covered in motivational text on the wall that is just superb for keeping one going! Don't even get me started on how awesome they playlist is for working out, yeah that's right, they already play workout music (not too loud) that is perfect for getting the job the done!

Poor customer service, door barcodes doesn't work, hidden fees, bad contract, no available fitness equipment and a early cancel contract membership fee. This company is careless and is all about taking their hard earned customers money. I recommend joining Planet Fitness.

Fantastic experience: New to the area and took a free tour of the gym as a walk-in. An employee kindly showed me around and gave me a tour. I signed up for the 3-day free trial and really enjoyed using the gym and the equipment. Facility is clean, well spaced out, has lots of equipment and machines available. Other gym goers I’ve interacted with are friendly, respectful and mostly keep to themselves. I feel very comfortable at Club Fitness and will continue going on a weekly basis. Would highly recommend it.

Fantastic experience: I joined this gym several months ago with the thought of weight loss. I had no clue where to start and I was connected with a personal trainer and she was great. Afterwards, I had to figure out what I wanted to do besides the different machines that was shown to me. I then joined Leslie’s Zumba class and I love her and the class. We fellowship outside of the class and celebrate birthdays monthly. Which helps build the relationship in the class. I’m so happy I joined the gym, my body has changed for the good.

Fantastic experience: One of the best gym experiences I've had - very clean, great equipment, staff was above and beyond friendly. Was able to use a 3 day guest pass without any hassle and no paperwork (was a quick and easy tablet experience), came all three days and will definitely be signing up now!

I would recommend anyone looking to work out to join this location. Kudos to management on how they run this place. Equipment is clean and I see workers regularly maintaining the gym during normal operations. I can see myself using this gym for quite some time.
Fantastic experience: Love this place! It has literally everything you need, no matter what level of fitness you are starting at. We use personal trainers, Zack and Angelica, and they are phenomenal! They work with our schedule and are very knowledgeable. We love our time here, super clean facility and wonderful staff. Honestly, my favorite gym I’ve ever been to. Highly recommend!!
Fantastic experience: The best gym around! Staff is helpful and friendly. Love the cycle class on Saturday morning! Nancy gets my day started perfectly!
