Bally's Las Vegas Fitness Center: Opinions
Positive experience: 5 stars for the one time we could use it when somebody let us in and for convenient access to cold water and specialty drinks in a vending machine. -2 stars since it never accepted our room key for whatever reason for the rest of our stay. Strongly suggest that the management just have the front desk offer to us and complete all the gym use approval procedures at check-in, especially if you're charging all these crazy resort fees anyway
Positive experience: Looks way bigger in the photos. Adequate. Clean. Fine.
Fantastic experience: I work at the Horseshoe engineering
Positive experience: Robust hotel gym that did the job!
Positive experience: Larger than I expected, a nice selection of machines and free weights.
Negative experience: Very expensive
Positive experience: 清潔感あり
Fantastic experience: It was better than I was expecting at the Horseshoe.
Positive experience: For a hotel gym it has the basics and is very clean. Only giving 4 stars because max occupancy is 15 people and both times I went there were about 10 and it felt very crowded other than that. For a hotel gym it’s a good one
Negative experience: There's no Air conditioning, there is no water available, no towels, the machines are old. Not enough equipment for the amount of people in there. It will get the job done but it could use an upgrade.
Fantastic experience: The fitness center was clean, plenty of available space and not crowded at all.
Fantastic experience: The fitness center was clean, plenty of available space and not crowded at all.
Fantastic experience: Básico bien tiene pocos aparatos pero los que más se ocupan y poca gente aprovecha el gym así que si cumple los requisitos para hacer buen ejercicio y después ir a comer muchoo
Fantastic experience: You need your room key for entry. I did 35 minutes on the treadmill at 5.4 mph, little under my road running pace. Treadmill worked great. Steady position, displayed heart rate from grip. Three were using the room between 5 and 6 am on a weekday in first part of December.
Positive experience: Has the basics you need. No squat rack or bench press.
Positive experience: It is sufficient. It would be nice if there was more than one wipes dispenser.
Fantastic experience: I enjoyed the services here. was great felt like a vip after using the gym facilities. I would recommend it first thing in the morning then hit the pool afterwards.
Fantastic experience: It was such a pleasure to experience the Bally's Spa. The employees were helpful and pleasant. There was a hot tub. sauna, steam room and lounge to relax in. You pay for this along with the use of the Bally's and Paris pools, when you pay the mandatory resort fee. It's well worth it.
Positive experience: (Gym only review) - Gym is located in the spa. This wasn't explained well in any directories but after asking the friendly staff, I was pointed the correct way. You can expect a pretty standard (training wheels) gym experience. No real heavy weight and no real bench. Dumbells only go to 75lbs, which is lacking for anyone @ an upper fitness level. Although it does have some basic machines with typical weight limits. The crowd (when I went) was pretty out of shape and older. For some reason people who don't work out daily like to work out on vacation. Must have something to do with all the buffets. All in all a good experience.
Positive experience: Every time we go to Vegas the wife and I book massages somewhere. One of her baller friends always goes to The Bellagio. We checked out the spa there and while I'm sure it was nice the prices were a bit high for me. They have a coconut oil/milk massage that sounds amazing but costs $300. We decided to give Bally's a try since the prices were more reasonable. One thing I like about going to a spa for a massage is that they tend to give you access to the other amenities for the day. I like to sit in the hot tub or steam room before and after my massage. Well the spa at Bally's certainly does have these things but they just didn't feel very luxurious. Definitely not on the level of a Burke Williams. It was like using the hot tub or steam room at your local gym. I just got a hot stone massage, which was about $150. The massage was good. The spa was just a bit disappointing.
Positive experience: Got a great workout here. Lots of equipment, could be a little bigger and more instructional on how to use some of the equipment.
Fantastic experience: Omg ...first ever man day at sps and not the last
Fantastic experience: love this place for spa
Positive experience: Fairly good massage. Facilities are aging some.
Fantastic experience: A great spa with reasonable prices. Take a look at the website for their seasonal specials - some good offers are usually there. Very clean dressing rooms and treatment areas, also a really great room for doing your makeup and hair after you are finished in the spa. Hair dryers, curling irons, straighteners all provided. There are 2 hot ribs available in the women's area that are clothing optional. One is "warm" and the other is "hot." Very nice shower area. Note they ask for no cell phones in any of the spa areas.
Negative experience: Not much fitness equipment
Negative experience: Bally's no longer has a spa. The spa location has been converted to a fitness room.
Positive experience: Awesome hotel
Fantastic experience: Relaxing
Fantastic experience: Awesome place!!! It was wonderful!!!
Fantastic experience: Fantastic services!
Positive experience: The gym was alright. Had all the little essentials. It's what's expected for a hotel gym.
Positive experience: Nice selection of weight machines, could use a few more treadmills and steppers. A nicer location with some windows would be better, and they definitely need longer hours.
Positive experience: Very nice spa
Negative experience: Couldn't even go today since it's closes at 6pm, which is sort of crazy for Las Vegas.
Negative experience: Review for Bally's spa only. I was here a few years ago. Whenever I go by I get upset all over again. I said 'I am a local and will never come here again', and I have kept my word. I will not come here or bring any out of town guests. I was asked for a credit card for a reservation over the phone. When I arrived a lady asked for my card. A bit later, a different girl asked for my card. I stated I did but feel comfortable giving my card to three different employees for one appointment. She acted like I had the problem, when in fact they were incompetent. She handed me a pen to sign in, and when I was done I absentmindedly dropped the pen on the counter. It rolled and landed on the lower counter. I said 'oops' and pointed that the pen fell. The girl had her back to me talking to 2 other employees at the time. Proper service? Anyway, a short time later the manager came up to me and said 'do I have a problem?' I said I'm fine but I don't think they know what they are doing. Manager says girl stated I 'threw a pen AT HER HEAD and she's upset'. I looked around for the cameras and demanded to review the security footage to show my innocence. Imagine I'm there for a relaxing service and I'm left defending my honor from an incompetent rude staff. Suddenly- the mood changed and I was offered an additional service to stay. My only mistake was to stay for an obviously uncomfortable experience. For myself- never again. Your experience may vary.
Fantastic experience: Very nice, comfortable space. Excellent service.
Negative experience: Had a massage and used the gym on the same morning. The massage was great, and the gym so/so but they have a policy that the gym use is free with a service. I paid for both separately. The only way they would refund the gym fee is if I came back in person, I had a show to go to that night and an early flight out of Vegas. Would not mail it, nor do a partial refund on my card. What a way to hose people.
Negative experience: So disappointed that a Las Vegas Hotel would only have access to a gym from 6a-6p. And you have to walk so far to even get to it...SMH! Never again will I stay at this Hotel, it's not worth all the money they charge.
