Fantastic experience: I thought all anytime fitness locations were this good but after going to other anytime fitness locations like pearland, I saw they’re not all this great and clean. It makes me appreciate this location 10x more!

Negative experience: I spoke with the Parks and Recreation Director inside the Fitness Center. I informed him of the lack of cleanliness to the lap pool tile and dividers, the concrete around the pool, the algae growing at the shower area at the pool, and trash on the pool floor area consistently. He said he wasn't aware of the condition in the pool area. Then, he told me new dividers had been purchased to replace the existing ones. He told me the Parks and Recreation do not include in their Janitorial contract for mopping of floors because it would be additional cost. Bathroom floors or any other uncarpeted floors do not get mopped. DISGUSTING! The carpets have had noticeable spills for three years that have never been cleaned. Why does Tim the Parks and Recreation Director not address the lack of cleanliness at the Fitness Center. Patrons have a right to use this facility without being subjected to staph infections and other diseases. I would have given zero stars if it was an option.

Fantastic experience: I wanted to find a voting location that was on my way home from work and this location fit my criteria. It took me less than 10 minutes, the folks were so friendly and accommodating!

Fantastic experience: Went here to vote and everyone that works there and the ones working the voting area were all very polite, helpful and even with the masks, you could tell they were smiling!

Negative experience: Why are all the other gyms open but this one is closed.. just don’t let people use the water fountains this is ridiculous they should let us get an extra week to our subscription

Negative experience: Horrible staff No cap, I reported someone For not Disinfecting the machines after they use it and she still doesn’t it to this day and staff dont do anything about it, it’s been 2 months since I’ve told them. Half the staff is rude for no reason.

Positive experience: Good to be bak, facility smells like burning compressor belts maybe a/c or something but it's a good place to work out n stayn fit. Thanks LP

Positive experience: Average. It's cheap, they have a couple saunas and they offer jiu-jitsu. The weights are sub par and they never add anything new to gym equipment.

Positive experience: Large lap pool,wet and dry sauna, large dressing rooms, weight room, yoga, also has senior citizen water aerobics.

Fantastic experience: The City of La Porte has done a great job with their recreation and fitness center. I have a membership and always look forward to going back.

Positive experience: Love the water aerobics class there, but water is TOO cold for a "heated pool"! Will have to stop going for awhile.

Positive experience: Great prices and hrs. Wide variety of equipment and rec stuff to do. Clean which always a plus. The only downside it stays packed need to expand.

Fantastic experience: A deluxe family membership for my family of four works out to roughly $25.00 per month and includes the gym, weight room, aerobics room, raquetball court, pool, sauna, and steam room. There is a locker room with showers for men and women. The weekday hours are very accommodating and they're open on Sundays, albeit with limited hours. The Rec Center is a great value and well worth the money.

Positive experience: Friendly staff. Large amount of cardio equipment that's always clean. Free weight dumbbells go up to 100lb. No squat rack or rowing machine. Clean showers. Has a lap pool, sauna, and steam room as well.
