Palm Beach Gym

Negative experience: This gym advertised a free day pass to try the gym on their website. I signed up for it, walked in and was told that they’re not doing the free day pass anymore. Listen I get it, the world doesn’t revolve around me. I’m just one customer, but it’s false advertisement and there wasn’t the slightest care or attempt to try to compensate a mistake on the gym’s end. To me, that goes a long way, seeing how a business takes care of its customers/prospective new customers.

Fantastic experience: Amazing Facility, Clean And friendly anything from personal trainers lots of equipment CrossFit cycling classes you name it they’ve got it!! The energy in this place is through the roof! Dawna The manager knows how to run a gym. She’s done it well for many years.!!

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love Boca Spin Studio! It's located inside the Boca Raton fitness center. The instructors are top-notch—motivating, energetic, and always pushing you to give your best. The facility itself is clean and well-maintained, creating the perfect environment for an intense workout. One of my favorite features is the Spivi technology. It’s so cool to see yourself riding on a bike on the projector screen—totally immerses you in the experience and makes the ride even more fun. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned rider, this place has everything you need for a great workout!

Fantastic experience: I have been at this gym forever! Love everything about it. The GLUTE ROOM IS AMAZING, and the people are so friendly. Gym is clean and the vibe is so cool!! Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I joined the BRFC 4 months ago and I’m so glad I found my new home gym. The staff is amazing, I did personal training sessions with Devin who I highly recommend! The owner John is great as well. I love that I look forward to coming to the gym now.

Negative experience: Equipment not in great shape and not maintained! I almost cut myself! Thank goodness it was just a deep scratch! Also, when I canceled my membership, I was told I would get reimbursed, then they refused! I never saw the staff clean the equipment during the day. Join another gym.

Fantastic experience: As someone who's been to alternatives like Planet Fitness, this gym is worth it. All of the machines are good, it's always clean, and it never gets too overcrowded to the point where none of the machines are available.

Fantastic experience: This is my favourite gym in the area - It has everything you need! I love the CrossFit classes it offers and the sauna option!

Fantastic experience: The day pass is $25, expensive but worth it. If you buy more than one day, it becomes cheaper.

Negative experience: Deceptive I was trying membership and they didn’t honor a 3 day cancellation window written in their contract.

Negative experience: This place has turned into a joke. At any given time there are more trainers on the floor with their own non member clients taking up most of the machines and filming. I've seen myself on countless videos in the background which I'm not ok with but they let anyone walk around with cameras and tripods filming whoever and doing what they want

Negative experience: I have belonged to this gym for over 8 years; however a couple years ago a new owner came in, Jon. He exudes a could care less attitude. I opened the door to enter our 11:30 class at 11:29, the instructor and students called me all kinds of names and he condoned it. Dawna the manager takes the same attitude. It is a mean and toxic environment. When u go to a gym you expect a welcoming atmosphere not an attitude. I was there solely for Hugo , the zumba instructor and was sad to leave him, otherwise so happy to be at a new gym

Fantastic experience: The Boca Raton Fitness Center is by far my new favorite gym!! They have all new equipment and even a room dedicated to the glutes (aka the Booty Room!!). Not to mention the staff is beyond amazing! They are always there to help if necessary. John and Dawna are the best! Love love love this gym! Recommend 10/10!

Fantastic experience: This is the best overall gym experience in the Boca area. Clean, plenty of machines and classes. Love this place!

Positive experience: Weight room is cluttered. Dumbbells, plates & other equipment left all over the floor. People don't put them back. Way too many machines so close together. Machines are constantly out of order. No room to roam around. Dirty. Dust everywhere. Owner is upcharging for classes, upgrading member fees for new machines & equipment and increasing rent for trainers. Showers smell. Sauna is constantly out of order.

Fantastic experience: What a great gym. They have lots of equipment and the space is big so it does not feel crowded. The customers are friendly and it’s nice to see friendly faces. I love that they have spin classes with great instructors. I wish they added a 12 O’clock spin class… My trainer, James Taylor Jr., is so amazing. He even sends me inspiring messages when I’m away in order to keep me focused on training… Trainers at Boca Raton Fitness are very knowledgeable and they are all pros. Highly recommend this gym

Fantastic experience: I came to visit my family who have just moved from NY to Florida. after looking for a gym I came across this one and it was the best choice I could have ever made. During those three weeks I attended cross fit classes eachmorning and both the staff and members were more than friendly, extreamly helpful with any questions I had regarding the sessions etc. I could not have asked for a better experience. I will be going back In December to see my family for the gholidays and cant wait to resume the classes I took this first time. Thank you everyone for making this experience top notch. See you soon! Negative experience: Requested my membership be cancelled three different times after they closed the Boca location including one conversation with the owner and they still continue to debit my account. Check your auto bill to confirm if you if you asked to cancel your membership or just to confirm they are billing the correct amount.

Fantastic experience: Palm Beach Gym is a friendly, energetic, uplifting, and positive atmosphere. There are so many choices for working out and improving physical fitness that it’s difficult to choose one. The staff are smiling, they greet you when you walk in, they are friendly and always ready to help. You will never wait for clean towels, coffee and water is always available. And you can spend as much time as you want on any given day and never use the same machine twice. There are so many options.

Positive experience: Nice gym if you want to do a quick workout. The cardio equipment is top-notch TechnoGym, but resistance equipment seems to be lagging. You can see the years of wear on the resistance machines, which are a combo of Life Fitness and other brands, not TechnoGym. If this gym brought in TechnoGym resistance machines, I’d be there every day. The gym is sometimes warm so working out is a little more difficult. Also, the equipment on the floor needs to be better organized—they don’t seem to follow any particular pattern and aren’t grouped by muscle trained.

Fantastic experience: Awesome gym. Every piece of equipment you can think of, towels provided, water filtration system for water bottle fill ups, sauna and bathrooms are kept very clean. Nice staff too.

Fantastic experience: My wife and I go over there to relax and get some exercise. I am working twice a week with a nice trainer named, Darren. There are a few trainers. Nice place.

Fantastic experience: Love this gym! Old school feel without the attitude or bad hygiene that usually comes with those types of places. Ive been in gyms for over 20 years, (Gold's, Powerhouse, etc). Definitely a sense of community here, with most members there to work out and improve themselves. Not overpopulated with loiterers that a lot of gyms have. Management and ownership seem engaged and equipment is varied and positioned strategically enough. I'm currently rehabbing from a surgery and have noticed many members seem to be helpful and courteous which is an added bonus and unexpected. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Very good ownership.. If you want a gym that has some personality, community, and great equipment that gets maintained, then come check it out... The staff here are probably my favorite part, as they are very personable, and helpful with whatever questions you may have.

Negative experience: This gym is driven by pure greed, lies and manipulation. They will tell you one thing and do something different. The general desk staff is kind, welcoming with great attitudes but the manager Dawna is beyond horrible. She has lack of respect, zero people skills, quick to judge and looks down on people. After experiencing such an attitude, I wanted nothing more to do with this gym and asked for the 1-month membership of $99 + tax to be refunded and only charge the daily rate for the only two days I used & will ever use that gym. Greed kicked in and of course that was not accepted.

Fantastic experience: CrossFit gym is amazing. The coaches there, Devin and Kaite in particular but Justin as well are great. They don’t care how much you lift as long as you’re pushing yourself and doing it correctly to avoid injury. I haven’t worked out in the free weight area as I only use the CrossFit gym.

Any kind of weights you would want. Brand new cardio equipment. AMAZING Spin Studio and Classes. Top notch HIIT classes…. All at a ridiculously economical price!

Fantastic experience: I just want to make sure that great customer service is recognized and acknowledged I understand that sometimes things can be frustrating and for example receiving a in-house collection letter of a membership, that I thought I canceled temporarily, was pretty surprising and frustrating. I was able to contact the billing phone number and the lady on the phone was very understanding and helpful to the situation granted I was very respectful and communicated with her clearly and she was able to do the same to me with patiennce and respect. The lady, who I believe is Donna, took the time to explain what may have happened and went out of her way to make sure that any collection was canceled and that a freeze was put in place until the date that we agreed to do to being in fire academy. Very helpful and very accommodating. But again like I stated above if you approach somebody with respect, Patience and kindness usually the same as reciprocated. Thank you Palm Beach gym staff for being so helpful

Fantastic experience: Very nice staff. Been coming here for almost one year and I love it.

Positive experience: When it’s not busy, this place is great. It’s more of an old-school gym vs a fitness center like PF. The advantage of that is a much better variety of equipment. The one downside is that it’s not quite big enough to support the number of people at the busiest times.

Fantastic experience: This training facility is a great place to train kickboxing, jiujitsu, mma and crossfit. They are constantly evolving and adding new equipment. The equipment seems real cutting edge. The instruction is top notch. The instructors create a very welcoming environment. You will notice improvements very quickly. Pro athletes walk around this place on a regular basis. If you're a UFC fan, you are essentially training amongst many of the Blackzilian fighters. Really cool.

Fantastic experience: Hybrid, says it all. You would need 3 separate memberships to get everything you can get here at Jaco. Weights, cardio, cross fit, classes. Not to mention a full MMA schedule with grappling and striking. If you're an MMA fan that is a bonus. Often times professional fighters join in, or teach the classes. Great for all ages. Can't think of anything I dislike about this gym, except for the fact that there aren't more of them.

Fantastic experience: Amazing training here. If your looking for muay thai, jiujitsu and mma training in South Florida, this is the place to go. The instruction is great, the facility is impressive. They invest in a lot of top of the line strength and conditioning equipment which I appreciate. It's also pretty cool to train amongst the talent on the Blackzilians team.

Fantastic experience: After years at a high profile and expensive gym in Boca I made the switch to Palm Beach Gym and I'm so happy I did so! Great gym with wonderful and helpful staff. I talked a few friends into making the switch as well and they're all happy they did.

Negative experience: I am in awe of the absolute disgust customer service. I walked in to get a walk through and check out the gym (CrossFit section), the lady upfront told me I needed to register my name and asked for me to do this THREE times over and over again. All I wanted was a look, I understand there are policies and liabilities but it now seems unapproachable. It was almost like she was racially profiling me (I’m latina of color). I asked the lady if this was normal and she told me to leave and “have a nice day”. I’ve lived in Boca my whole life, never have I been treated this way. I wish I could leave no stars.

Started CrossFit here and it’s a nonjudgmental zone which is super important to me. Everyone is super friendly and I definitely feel included within the CrossFit community!

Fantastic experience: I had the absolute privilege of dropping sweat today at this signature gym! This gym has the most modern and up to date equipment, giving you access to everything you ever dreamed of using for a unique and efficient workout! I could not be anymore impressed with the staff, what this gym offers for their members, and the cleanliness of the entire facility.
