Fantastic experience: This gym is nice, the equipment is new and the locker room is clean. The staff has been nice and helpful when needed.

Fantastic experience: I've been a member here for 9 months and I have nothing but good things to say about this gym. The weight room is massive with plenty of equipment for the serious bodybuilder. There are plenty of cardio machines which means you never have to wait even during peak hours. The staff members are very friendly and always willing to help. The locker rooms, toilets and showers are very clean. They recently made it a 24/7 gym which is extremely convenient for serious gym rats like myself. Would recommend this gym to anyone, beginner or pro.

Fantastic experience: Just visiting and was able to get a guest pass for a few days to use the swimming pool. What a beautiful facility! Gorgeous pools, loved the lap pool, fitness facility looks fabulous- clean, great equipment, spacious! If I lived here, I would definitely be a Merritt Club member (like my parents who were members at the Towson location for years). This facility beats Towson hands down.

Fantastic experience: I am so passionate about this gym! I truly appreciate everything it has to offer, from the moment I enter to the moment I leave. On certain days, the only thing that encourages me to work out is the enthusiasm I feel for being in the gym. I might not do much other than savor a complimentary cup of coffee and take a stroll on the treadmill. The courteous staff and spotless, modern ambiance make it a great place to clear my head.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience at the fitness club! The hours and equipment were top-notch and the staff were really friendly and helpful. I attended my first group class, Power Yoga with Lindsay, today and it was great. Even though I'm new to yoga, Lindsay kept the pace steady and offered assistance to everyone in the class so that we could all keep up. I was really impressed.

Fantastic experience: I know the price is steep especially if you are used to the whole $10 a month thing but it is worth it! I actually really love coming to this gym. It's the first time I haven't felt judged coming to the gym. Me and my son come together. Brian Rice that teaches aqua zumba makes you feel so included and makes you want to come back. 100% recommend.

Fantastic experience: This is a fantastic place to brin the whole family to work out. They have a large pool area and the locker rooms are clean. They also have someone constantly wiping the machines down.

Fantastic experience: Great job Merritt, they have reopened from Covid 19 and they are spot on. The new standards for outdoor swim areas is very impressive. I was greeted by a helpful friendly staff member. Everything was explained in detail. I saw cleaning/ sanitizing being done, everyone has to leave at a certain time, hoses, buckets, brushes come out and an additional deep cleaning is done.The gym area is sanitized, members are staying at least 6 feet away from each other. Mask are being worn. Merritt - you should be proud, great informed staff delivered with kindness.

Fantastic experience: I love this gym! It’s never crowded where you can’t find a piece of equipment or weights to work with. The classes are all great, esp the cycling. And the kids club is great and keeps my kids entertained. The pool is also amazing and where we plan to spend all summer. The restaurant and bar area is perfect during the pool season to grab drinks and lunch or dinner without having to leave and come back or bring your own food/snacks in. And the menu is extensive so there’s plenty of things my family will eat. There’s also kids classes offered as well. My daughter did dance classes and just had her recital and the program did a really excellent job with it all

Fantastic experience: Great gym. Who ever came up with idea of a theater room in a gym is the kind of genius you want planning everything. Gym is always clean, staff very friendly.

Fantastic experience: This gym has everything to offer, from classes, training , daycare, exercise classes for the kids , pool with slides and even a restaurant in there. Its a little pricey but if your are looking for all the amenities above, this place would fit you. The customer service is good at the front desk. Except this one seasoned person. The gym is nicely kept cleaned.

Fantastic experience: Great place to work out, have family fun, and chill by the pool. Many workout classes available including yoga, Zumba, body attack and even aerial yoga. Kids zone is absolutely fantastic. Members can leave their kids for two hours in "heaven"- come check it out. There is a cute little cafe inside, where you can grab a drink, ice cream and chill by the pool. Also, make sure to try their protein shakes - Andy makes the best ones!

Fantastic experience: This was the first gym I ever joined - definitely pricey as others have said but if you go often enough, it’s worth it. Take advantage of the discounts if you’re under 25 yrs old, live with a sibling that also attends Merritt, etc!

Fantastic experience: My son met with Andrew, a personal trainer. (I came along to pay!) I'm so impressed with Andrew's ability to put clients at ease immediately. There was never any pressure, and I always felt like he had the best interest of my son at heart. His passion is evident the moment you meet him. I was so happy with his completely professional and positive vibe that I asked about joining. Andrew walked me over to two very nice women. They were very helpful. I explained my reservations about committing to a contract, and they quickly put me at ease by walking me through several options. Andrew even offered to take a class with me as well as show me how to use the machines. Wow! So impressed! I'm going to the gym next week to join!

Fantastic experience: Great environment , wonderful equipment, open 24 hours the most complete gym I have attended , what ever type of fitness you are into its there.

Fantastic experience: This gym is everything to me. I have been a member since August and have already been referred by 3 new members. It is pricey yes, but you get what you pay for. There isn't a time that I go in the gym and feel like I don't want to be there or am bored. I utilize every aspect of this gym because they have everything! Especially group fitness classes, boot camp with Bernie is the best and cycling with Emily. It is always clean! My favorite part about this gym is the atmosphere, I go frequently so there are staff that remember my face, greet me, and make me feel welcomed. Aj is a lifestyle consultant that I run into often. He is super nice and anytime I have any problems or questions about anything that I know I can go to him and he will easily help me or accommodate any issues that I have. The only thing I'm still hoping for isa brita filters at one of the water fountains.

Fantastic experience: Very family friendly, we are loving the events they offer too. There are many different classes, excellent personal trainers and the staff are very friendly as well as helpful. The pool feels like a water park and the kids zone is amazing! We've officially made it our second home the past three months.
