Fantastic experience: Melissa, the proprietor, gave me a guided tour and I felt welcome right away. It was a great atmosphere for everyone!

Fantastic experience: I was in two minds about giving a four star rating, as the five star streak was unbroken. The physical building and equipment were in a state of disrepair, with plenty of uneven floors and broken/missing pads. Despite this, the people I encountered were always cheerful and helpful. I was lucky to find a one-month Groupon trial and personal training session at this gym and I am grateful. The owner was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. The atmosphere was pleasant overall. You don't need a state-of-the-art gym to reach your fitness goals.

Fantastic experience: There is no better spot to confront your inner struggles and form strong relationships at the same time. I would not have stayed here for so long if it weren't for the supportive atmosphere.

Fantastic experience: Since I was a child, I have had a strong affinity for this place. Every time I have relocated to Bay City, I have canceled my PF membership and signed up at a local gym. I generally prefer smaller, independent gyms to corporate ones, but when I tried Old Town Fitness, I felt like I was exercising in the waiting room of a dentist's office. On the other hand, I have an incredible sense of concentration when I work out at Iron Gorilla.

Positive experience: Nice small sized gym. More weight focus than cardio, but the equipment gets the job done. Great student discount with 24/7 access. Not the fanciest gym in town, and the parking lot needs some work. A good place to lift, and I would rather workout here than anywhere else

Fantastic experience: This gym is a great throwback with its well-maintained equipment for powerlifting and heavy lifting. It has a diverse selection of group fitness classes, such as Kickboxing, Full-Body Sculpt, and Zumba. As a member, you get 24-hour access with a reasonable monthly cost and a student discount. You can also bring a friend with you for an extra charge. On top of that, the parking lot has been fixed, making it even better!
