Resolution Fitness

Fantastic experience: I joined Resolution Fitness a year ago, and I’m pleased that I did. It’s conveniently located in Battle Ground, with ample parking. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the facility is clean. The instructor of my Silver&Fit class, Jennifer, is competent and knowledgeable. In addition to her expertise, she creates a fun, upbeat atmosphere and offers positive words of encouragement. Overall, I heartily recommend Resolution Fitness.

Fantastic experience: I attend Resolution Fitness to participate in the Silver and Fit program recommended by Kaiser Permanente. The program meets three times a week for 45 minute sessions. We use the entire second floor of the gym which is in great shape as is all of the equipment; hand weights and resistance bands. The sessions have a leader. Each of the two leaders work different days and each is excellent.

Fantastic experience: I have been attending Silver and Fit classes here for about 17 years!! Instructors Angie & Jennifer are professional, care about each of us and try to make exercise fun!! I highly recommend this class.

Fantastic experience: I like to come to the gym in the afternoon, they have all the machines and dumbbells that I need to do my workouts. The staff are very nice.

Fantastic experience: I've been a member for over five years and have been working with Angie and Elijah as personal trainers for two and a half years. I'm entering my mid sixties and I'm strong and feel ten years younger than my age (most days). What's the secret? Working out without getting injured. Using a personal trainer with expertise and the ability to see what I can't in the mirror has allowed me to get very fit without time out for injury due to bad form or overuse. So here's what this gym is and is not. Resolution is a small family run gym that focuses on providing a clean friendly environment without the show boats or the fashion show. The Equipement is solid and basic. Fewer electronics to break with less service downside. My workouts use mostly free weights and my body weight. No fancy torture machines needed. I truly appreciate the value and lower membership cost of this approach. What this gym is not; As alluded to above, this is not a big box gym with a pool, steam room or sauna. It doesn't run the latest machines that plug into your phone for your chosen exercise app. This isn't a gym to go to for social hour or a fashion show. If you're looking for that, go elsewhere. I welcome you to pay their $70-$80 per month for all that. My money is better spent at Resolution Fitness. Hope to see you there.

Fantastic experience: $10 day pass and has everything you need from beginner to pro.

Positive experience: It's a good nearby gym n it will grant results but the equipment are a bit outdated, replacement is needed, and more attention to the machines would be nice. Particularly the lat pull-down machine, the plate between 55 and 75 is facing backwards, makes it so you can't use the 65 plate, because the hole is facing backwards, makes it hard to progress on it. 55 is too easy and 75 is too hard, 65 would be a sweet spot, it's a shame I can't use the 65 plate.

Fantastic experience: I couldn’t recommend Resolution Fitness and Angie + Elijah more. They are fantastic people, and fantastic trainers. It’s a smaller gym which I absolutely loved - never so packed that you can’t find equipment to use. Staff and other members seem friendly which makes a pleasant environment. Always clean. I highly recommend personal training, too. They are motivating, knowledgeable, and truly care about their clients!

Positive experience: I am able to walk to it and not waste gas, because of its location. Also they are 24/7 I work graveyard and can work out at any hour. Their classes certainly show results.

Fantastic experience: Great local gym! Great equipment and very friendly staff. My daughter trained with Angie and had amazing results. Highly recommend their personal training program. I’ve lost 10 lbs and feel fantastic. Time to make a resolution for good health.

Fantastic experience: This place is awesome! The staff is friendly and helpful, the classes are fun and the instructors are engaging and motivating. It is not the fanciest, not the most updated, but the people are great and the equipment works! The environment is relaxed and chill and every member I've met has been amazingly supportive.

Fantastic experience: I love the 24 hour access, I’m able to do all of my workouts when it’s not as busy. Only issue is some boy who comes in with his girlfriend while he works out the girl just sits there and watches her boyfriend workout. (She likes to sit on equipment) And on other days the boy brings in his friends and it’s just a whole negative vibe when him and his friends show up. He also likes to vape in the gym while working out. Only good thing about it is that it smells great but I’m sure it’s not allowed.

Positive experience: Good classes but qym needs updated! Not well maintained (looks kinda shabby). More current exercise trends/classes would be nice also.

Fantastic experience: I have been to a few gyms in my time but I have never felt more comfortable than here. When I first walked in I was quickly signed up and then offered a tour. Very friendly and family run. Equipment is in great shape and always looks clean and ready to use when I walk through the door. Staff was very supportive of my weight loss goals and offered positive encouragement as well as safety measures for someone of my weight and health. I have read reviews of the place having an odd smell but I have never smelled anything offputting when I use their facilities and I have a very acute nose. Great option if you're looking for a good gym at a very reasonable price.

Fantastic experience: Oh my goodness! This place is awesome! A plethora of classes to take and 24 hour access is awesome! It has a super homey vibe to it so it doesn’t make the gym feel at all intimidating. The owners and staff are so nice and friendly. When choosing a gym in Battle Ground, I always recommend my friends come here.

Fantastic experience: Resolution Fitness has great equipment, awesome teachers with a wide variety of classes. The fitness coaches are very experienced and caring. The owners are very involved and care about our community. The gym has a very good, comfortable atmosphere. Check them out soon!

Fantastic experience: I interviewed several other facilities and I did not get the personal attention we have received at Resolution Fitness. The owner & trainer, Angie, really listened to what our goals were. She has worked with us over the last 2 years to achieve them plus more. Can't imagine going any place else.

Fantastic experience: I have been a member and personal training with Angie for about 18 months. The gym is perfect for me - small enough that you don't get lost in the crowd, personal and friendly. I have enjoyed getting to know both the staff and other members. I attend a couple of the classes every week and have been impressed with the variety and the number of classes offered. All of the instructors are knowledgeable and helpful. I just re-upped for another year!

Negative experience: This place is horrible. They don't fix equipment. They don't limit time on machines. They don't run the heat in winter. After repeated requests for changes, we're going to a different gym.

Negative experience: I really wanted to like this gym. The young man who gave me my orientation was extremely nice. However, I'm used to gyms where they have a card as they orient you to their equipment and write down the settings. No card, I was just supposed to remember. The two most off putting things were the dust stalactites hanging from the ceiling and the children playing on the equipment while their mother yelled at them to get down. I'm going to explore other options.
