Positive experience: Clean, everything working, sauna is okay. The only thing is they should keep open 7/24. Please.

Negative experience: I did not received help with a missing expensive item of mine that I may have left at Crunch. I asked 3 times for help and to have a look at the cameras to make sure I left it there and to see if someone picked it up. They told me there was nothing they could do. mm? Pretty sure the ball was in their court. I even have the time stamps of when i entered and left so it wouldn’t have been long. I’ve been a loyal customer for over 2 years and the only time I’ve ever asked for help, I did not receive any. Disappointed.

Negative experience: I visited this location while I was in town for the week. The staff here is very non chalant acting. Not one time did they greet are seem welcoming when I came through. And the white guy with beard ingnored me while I waited in line and pointed with his finger instead talking to me. The gym is ok and kind of spacious. But most the paper towel was out and no sanitizer in most the bottles. I definitely expected better all the way around .

Negative experience: Beware I highly don't recommend this business, They advertise a low trial price and then make it impossible for you too cancel the account. I tried to cancel the account but I have go out of town for work for few months, call each month to cancel they said I had to come in, so the intro price turn into almost $200. Made it almost impossible to cancel, keep charging you and then want to put on your credit report, WOW. As a Retired Military l veteran I don't recommend this company. Very close to a bait and switch, perhaps.

Fantastic experience: The group fitness classes and instructors are excellent, overall clean and good variety of equipment.

Negative experience: It’s busy but not so bad you can’t find equipment you need. But there’s lots of things that work to make it unpleasant. They will close early on Friday Saturday and Sunday despite their posted hours which sucks if you hoped to work out later and assumed you had til close and kick you out 15 or min early. And the PA system is loud and super scratchy. Not a big deal much but when they are using it for a class it’s so loud and almost painful and you can hear it through your headphones and it’s louder than your own music. Luckily it’s impossible to understand. There’s also the surprise fees. By this is America. Gyms are working to screw you however they can. Equipment is broke a lot but it’s big gym and that’s the fault of the clients more than the gym it’s fixed within a week usually. People are good for a spot. PTs are expensive but not pushy. Don’t request equipment it’s just not coming. Staff is nice about it though. It’s not the worst gym most workouts are uneventful but every 7th workout or so will have something profoundly unpleasant happen

Negative experience: Do not join. This company tries to make it impossible to cancel your membership. You can join online but have to physically visit a location to cancel. They also charge a random $100 dollar yearly fee in addition to normal monthly payments. READ THE FINE PRINT!!!

Fantastic experience: Great trainers cleaned gym with state of the art equipment.

Negative experience: They charge you money even if you don’t visit. You go to cancel you have to pay equipment fee even if you never used there equipment. I was told everyone is charged that one time payment for the year.

Negative experience: This place says open and “closes” for no reason. No explanation, no warning, no posts on social. There’s always multiple broken weight machines or cardio equipment. The PT team calls almost weekly to try to sell you. Their saving grace is ONE personal trainer - Mandy.

Fantastic experience: Clean and affordable, bustling with energy and class participation - weekend morning classes are plentiful and vibrant. If you want plenty of professional, confident women at the gym you attend, go here! I go to gyms often and see a high disparity in the men to women ratio, and sometimes that can make me uncomfortable with my body - sexist I know. Nonetheless, pleasantly surprised not the case here. Unfortunately, group classes cost extra. A wide variety of equipment and workout routines make me want to go back every time.

Fantastic experience: I wish the Crunches were this spacious and well equipped back home in SoFlo. Clean and everything seemed to be in good condition.

Negative experience: Do not get with this fitness place. They have 1 dollar signup no commitment and have you thinking it start on visit. I never went to visit nor used equipment or anything. I spoke with them about it wondering why my bank was charged knowing I never visited at all. They said visit or not they charge a month 50 dollars plus 150 equipment fee even though you never used their equipment. They so called waved fee for misunderstanding they later after a few months charged me again for the fees. Plus you can’t cancel without paying 150 dollars equipment fee, but it states no commitment cancel fee. Now they sending text stating they sent to claims like I owe them money when I never ever visited at all. They come up with this scam to get people to signup not knowing they still under commitment even though it states no equipment. Please be careful and pay closely attention to what you signing. Please read small print. Everything appears to be good is not. They prey on the weak. People less fortunate. Don’t fall victim like me. Thanks Now they responding that’s not true. If it is not true why when I went in and asked before months rolled by to cancel. They stated and I quote everyone is required to pay equipment fee. I asked how much is the equipment fee. They said 150. They said it’s a one time fee for the year. They stated must be payed before I can cancel. Why should I lie about this. I asked to speak to supervisor about it. I got the run around then finally I was told to send an email. No response but steady was trying to charge my card after they claimed to waive the fees. I have proof of all this. Honesty is very important. It makes me mad to respond knowing you not telling the truth. Why would I be trapped if I never visited just signed up with dollars months later 55 dollars out my account. I’m confused. Oh but can’t cancel but shows when first sign up no commitment. If you have to pay something to cancel that is an commitment. I asked why I’m paying equipment fee and never used y’all equipment? I never ever visited not once. That is wrong to do that to people and that hurts my feelings to know people are like that then to validate for yourself by saying something you know not true. Go somewhere with that. I learned my lesson. Thank you for my lesson read and fully understand first before paying or signing anything. There are predators out here who prey on the weak.

Negative experience: This isn’t the first time this has happened but At 7:45 AM when the club is supposed to be open at 7 am it wasn’t. Many gym members were waiting in the parking lot. Management needs to come up with a 24 hour key card method before they lose members to competing gyms. It really irks me given this wasn’t the first or second time this has happened to me personally.

Negative experience: Keep in mind this is just my experience after two weeks there or so. The facilities are nice and for the most part we'll maintained. The staff, however, have basically ignored me or pushed me to the side whenever possible. Signed up on line foe their high tier membership, and went in on the first day...scanned in with the app but not a single person acknowledged me on their staff. Went to use the hydro massage and was ignored for 5 minutes until the person at the desk finished their meal and came and helped. It wasn't until five visits later that someone realized that I didn't have an ID picture so they got it done and then set me up with their kickoff. Came in for that...the trainer ignored me as I stood there awkwardly as they ate taco bell at appointment time, so I went and worked out only to see in my email that they marked it complete, I guess to charge the $10. If you go to the gym here, don't waste your money or time on the trainers

Negative experience: Worst gym in town. Always dirty, never any soap in restrooms, equipment is always broken, no one picks up after themselves. The staff and management do not care. I would give 0 stars if possible. But what do you expect for $10 per month. I feel bad for the personal trainers. Update 8/1/2024- the final have a janitor to clean so it has been slightly cleaner in the men’s restroom but not the rest of the gym…

Negative experience: I want to tell my experience with this gym. I signed up, but since I had surgery the first day I went, I felt very bad, because of my surgery, and I couldn't go even a single day. I couldn't go because I was sick. But when I was able to go to cancel it since I was not going to use it, they charged me triple, I paid them a portion and I told them that I did not need it and I told them about my surgery but they did not cancel it nor did they care about my health and Until this time my debt continues to rise because they don't want to cancel it. One of them said that he was going to put my membership on hold until I could pay that amount owed and yet every day they charge me more and more. and without having used that gym for a single day and I even returned the shirt but they continue to increase the debt

Fantastic experience: Everything's is perfect expect that girl who runs the night shift just is so rude

Negative experience: For the last 3 to 4 weekends, Sunday mornings there is nobody here on time to open up the gym. The parking lot is always full of people waiting for somebody to open the gym

Positive experience: This is a fairly new gym, but the sauna is always down and I think they could do a better job of maintenance. All equipment is new and works properly though for the most part

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love this gym! The staff is extremely friendly and it is always a warm and welcoming environment. As a bigger person working on getting healthy and loosing weight, it can be daunting to go to a gym filled with individuals in pristine physical shape. However, there is no judgement here and I couldn't be more appreciative of that. Thank you!

Positive experience: I left PF for Crunch because I wanted more community and light, which this location provides. PF is a bit gloomy. There is always a recruitment sale here, so it's packed from 5-7. They are slow to keep cleaning materials stocked throughout the gym. Critical leg equipment is broken for more than a month. I wouldn't put anything in their lockers unless you have your own lock. There are theives on staff. I came in to an employee wearing headphones I lost and reported for several days. They deliberately lied about having them. Other staff had to threaten them to give them back. Overall, it's brighter, but not better than PF.

Negative experience: Was a member for 4 days. Signed up on Saturday… was told I get a free kickoff session with a 3d scan…. Show up for my appt and get thrown in the scan machine… not told anything afterwards… no one-on-one with anyone. No explanation from anyone. Cancelled today and was charged a full month plus annual fee. After 4 days!!!

You’re waiting to use the equipment. & not to mention i had an incident where my baby was in the day care, and it looked as if a bite mark was on her back i called and they said i could come up there and when i go to them the manager says she can’t show me the cameras bc “other children were involved” but she saw nothing on the cameras. sounds crazy to me & honestly was a waste of my time bc you could have said that over the phone but okay. anyways if you’re just going to workout your choice but i definitely would not recommend the daycare bc if something happens. you can’t see the cameras.

Negative experience: This is so stupid to cancel you have to go in person or mail a letter. How dumb is mailing a letter. I should be able to cancel on the app or by email or by phone if you accept a letter as a way of cancelation

Positive experience: The workouts are great. Love the sauna!! Just recommend there was more convenient showers where I can put my personal belongings (soap, towels, shampoo etc.) and hot water. This am my shower water was very cold. But overall it's a good gym for the workouts.

Negative experience: This gym has the worse customer service I have ever seen. All I wanted was to have a peaceful workout, instead I walked out quiet upset after witnessing how the night shift employees (1 black, gay guy and his minions) were going around the gym harassing customers, laughing at customers while working out and harassing them about picking up the equipment when they clearly weren’t done working out. One of the customers got upset and answer back to the gay guy, and the employee threaten him with downgrading his membership, which is upright illegal. The employees definitely need a class on customer service and common courtesy. They need to realize that they get paid thanks to customers, and they should be able to offer a peaceful and courteous atmosphere. If they can’t treat customers with respect and dignity, they shouldn’t work there!…

Fantastic experience: Such HIGH ENERGY and GREAT PEOPLE

Negative experience: I just enrolled yesterday for the Peak Results plan. I was all pumped up to start my work day with a workout. I got a good sweat in and when it came time to shower and head to work…. this gym had NO HOT WATER in the showers! Mind you it’s cold outside!! The disabled shower is falling apart, no soap in the dispensers…I’m sure it’s became of the zip code and demographic using this location.

Negative experience: My son joined last summer while here for the summer - was told he could pay monthly and have no annual fee, then was charged the annual fee, couldn’t ever get a manager to talk to, called multiple times, left messages, when it was the owner who told us no annual fee and could just pay for the summer. Put plan on hold - got charged another annual fee - can’t cancel over the phone - can’t get a manager to discuss, have to put in writing to cancel and take to the gym - my son lives out of state - just ridiculous - terrible customer service - make sure you know what you are signing up for

Positive experience: It’s pretty okay, need more staff but other than that it’s okay. Bathrooms are disgusting, especially the men room.

Positive experience: I’ve been going for about a months and everyone is great, staff is nice and I enjoy going, but I’m getting very very tired of getting up to go and they are f###### closed, 3 times since I’ve started. Power outages or water pipe issues and I never get a heads up, an email or text would be amazing but instead I just get texted about deals I don’t care about, I would hope they either fix the infrastructure issues or at least have the decency to notify me when they are closed, because I don’t wanna drink a preworkout, pull up to see a stupid note on the door, I’d much rather a text letting me know.

They have charged me the annual fee TWO times just a few months apart and I thought I had it resolved when I called and an employee told me it was their mistake and that I would get a refund within 15 days. Its been now 30 days and I go in this time and the manager Amber Marohl, who is really rude btw, and made a point to tell me “OH WELL IM THE MANAGER” wants to tell me “refund not granted” because the first charge never went through. ??? Like first i couldn’t care less if ur a manger or not, like if your a manger then shouldn’t you be able to refund me?? when i literally showed her proof on my account that I was charged two times and now they refuse to give me my money back.

Negative experience: Just got around to this review. I paid beaucoup money to have personal training this past year. The personal trainers have zero communication skills. They promise a fitness plan and dietary plan, but don't deliver. My trainer constantly canceled on me at the last minute or changed things around where I had to move my schedule. I had covid and called to cancel a day before and they charged me for the session..Funny how, they can get away with canceling on me when I am walking in the door, but I call them them to prevent the spread of covid and they charge. If you want real personal training, I would take my business elsewhere. This is the worst personal training experience in my life. What a scam. Total waste of money. Layne was the trainer. Beware.

Negative experience: Nice layout but the staff is slow and incompetent. Also I have to assume that reracking weights is just not a part of Louisiana gym culture. No one reracks weights and the staff doesn't enforce it. I hardly seem them on the gym floor cleaning or anything either. The power has been out the past few days as well. I've been to crunch gyms all over the country and this one of the least taken care of imo

Negative experience: i had a membership for 3 years there, i left for a year because i was in the hospital when i came back one of the workers was shaming me for not being there for a while. i brushed it off but thats not okay and now she is a manager… mostly everyone is nice but she isn’t. canceled my membership and still going to be charged for august, never again. i love it at first just because it was 24 hours

Positive experience: Lots of equipment. It gets crowded on weekday evenings. Sure do wish they had the "Crunch-O-Meter" working in the app so I could truly see when the busiest times actually are.

Positive experience: I have been a member for about 5 months now. I love the group classes. I attend spin at least 3-4 days a week. Recently it has been extremely hot in the ride studio. You break a sweat before the class even begins. Clearly the AC is not working properly in the studio. There is one fan that is in use. There needs to be at 2-3 fans available. The ceiling fans seem to be set on the lowest setting as well. They gym floor and other studio is set at the perfect temperature.

During my 7-day free pass, I had the pleasure of working out alongside a diverse group of individuals who all shared a common goal of prioritizing their health. What struck me the most was the importance placed on maintaining a clean environment. Having had the privilege of speaking with the management, I was relieved to discover that they were genuinely concerned about addressing the concerns raised by myself and other gym-goers. They expressed a strong commitment to making the necessary changes to ensure the gym is clean, sanitized, and safe for everyone. However, it's crucial to remember that as gym-goers, we also bear the responsibility of contributing to a clean and welcoming environment. This entails diligently cleaning the machines after use, promptly picking up any trash we come across, and taking the initiative to re-rack our weights. By collectively recognizing and acting upon the principle that our gym's cleanliness is our shared responsibility, we can create a space that truly fosters health and well-being for all.

Positive experience: The current water fountain situation could not be worse, unless there was no water at all. Respectfully, sincerely, and constructively, Crunch's current drinking water accessibility and quality is unequivocally inadequate for their gym's size in area, volume of members, and the high water demands inherent to a business in which people sweat. Without going into too much detail, its drinking water accessibility design is so flawed that, given the current operational status of their fountains, it is barely minimal. The regrettable conclusion is the factual observation that their water fountain situation could not actually be worse unless there was no drinking water at all. Worst of all, given the objectively terrible current situation, even if they aren't getting feedback about it, nearly EVERY member who has experienced it would agree; any argument to the contrary, any claim the situation is even remotely acceptable, whether by an administrator or member, would do a disservice to themselves, insult the other members, and deny the administration itself the truth and opportunity to hold themselves to high standard. Everything about Crunch deserves the great reviews here, except for a couple of things, most obviously their current accessibility to drinking water. I've just reported this problem at length in a feedback form of their website, but I want to post publicly to help them maintain the high standard to which I'm sure they hold themselves. EDIT: After reading some other reviews, I was not surprised to find some mentions of the water fountain issue. Those reviews go back as far as 10 months, which is an unfortunate sign of the degree to which Crunch values it's members and their feedback. Also, now I'm worried whoever does their review response relations will either try to deflect my argument with humor, or simply give me the boilerplate response they gave everyone else who they took complaints from about the water fountains and for 10 months never did anything about making them better. I think I'll get the boilerplate, because their water fountains are pretty much the biggest joke. Oh, and if you want more details, like you have requested from others, I can provide publicly the exhaustive description detailing how your gym's water fountains could literally not be worse... or you can just look it up through the online feedback for your store. But I'm guessing you're familiar with the problem, especially if you work at this location. In which case, I'm sorry. I hope you never forget your water bottle with delicious, cold water from home. I know I regret it every time I do, and I know every other member does too.

Negative experience: Been a costumer for over 6 months and let me just say bathrooms are always dirty AF and facilities the same I wouldn't recommend this gym to anyone period..

Positive experience: I like the gym but after several weeks, one of the fans in the class area is still not working. I hope they get this fixed soon. I come to sweat but that room needs at least a little bit of air flow.

Negative experience: Great equipment but be prepared to be charged almost 90$ in club fees only to have the sauna, hydro massage, and tanning beds broken or down all the time. Front desk should stop pushing upper level memberships if you can’t access the benefits that come with it.

Fantastic experience: So far in terms of a gym its typical, large and machines and equipment is plentiful. I mainly decided on this gym due to the kidscrunch but the hours aren't really matching up with my needs. Please double check that they match up with yours before you sign up.

Fantastic experience: I love this gym Im a mother of three kids and I could bring my kids with me. The price is very reasonable for the membership with my kids too. I give this gym 5 stars

Positive experience: I loved coming to this gym at first. But the past 6 months every time I go in, there is at least 3 people with tripods and cameras recording themselves posing or doing squats. They take up huge sections of the gym and get huffy if you actually try to work out and use the boxing bags while they record themselves. Even had one girl get upset when I was in the bathroom washing my hands because she was taking pictures of herself in the mirror.

Negative experience: I honest to goodness love the gym because it wide variety of machines and equipment but it gets so packed that you cannot work out at all in the gym most times of the day and week.

Negative experience: My mom is a member of Crunch fitness on Airline Hwy.  Today April 8, 2023 one of the team members at Crunch Fitness put a paper on her vehicle saying that her vehicle will be towed because she was parked in the handicapped parking area.  My mom 72 years old has a hard plate handicap plate. Also, the employees are parking in the handicapped space. I saw with my own eyes. Will you look into this situation about my mom? My mother should not be stressed out after exercising. My mom does have the handicapped license plate on her car and a decal hanging in her suv. So the day I am questioning she was in her car. The car has hard plate handicap license. Thanks for responding to the comment. I asked her on April 9, 2023 Sunday did she had any issues with parking and she said no there were hardly anybody there. I hope that she will continue to not have an issue when she parks in the handicapped space.

Negative experience: Facilities are adequate and clean however their business practices are somewhat predatory - in typical corporate fashion the billing and cancelation policies are about as clear as mud. Took me several months to finally cancel, then still had charges 2 months after that. Definity left me with a bad taste.

Positive experience: Nice gym, you should put the times of kids club on website. I haven’t joined because I can not find the times.
