Negative experience: I would give no stars if it was possible because of the management being so terrible and not working with people. I just wanted to cancel my membership because of not being able to have time to go to the gym but I missed 1 payment and they refused to cancel my membership. They told me if I don't make the payment, they can't cancel and if the payment doesn't get made, they will charge me late fees and eventually send my account to collections. How do you expect to keep people at the gym when the management refuses to work with anyone and has no people skills. Unless you want to be stuck paying for the membership for life, I would never recommend going to this gym.

Positive experience: Perfect for me. (Been here 6 months) Plenty of more unique equipment. I’m able to do everything I need for my sport. Things are broken once in a while, but fixed pretty soon, and the free weights go up to 120 for dumbbells. Squat rack, smith machine, and a squat rack that assists in balance but not weight. Ppl here know what they’re doing, and don’t sit at one spot for 30 minutes lol. Staff are great. It’s not la fitness, but it’s cheap and great quality.

Negative experience: The staff seem cool enough, they keep the gym pretty tidy in comparison to the planet fitness in moreno valley.... but the maintenance of the equipment might be worse. All of the rope handles are on the verge of being completely torn in half, all of the cable single handles are tied to not being able to un-tie, the double cable machine that stands on its own by the aerobic room has a switch broken about halfway down so it doesn't go any lighter than what it's at, the cable row machine on the right side is stuck at a set weigh so it can't go any lighter, there's a chest machine that has been out of order since I got my membership a little over two months ago, there's 1 v handle in the whole gym. I have personally reported all of these problems latest one being 2 weeks ago to a blonde woman with a pony tail and nothing has been done about any of it. I understand this is is an "affordable gym" but I'd like to think the money I spent a month would go towards the upkeep of the gym. Probably going to switch to another gym soon. I wouldn't recommend.
Fantastic experience: After MONTHS of crunch not letting me cancel my membership, the endless charges going to my card, SAGE (current manager) was the only one willing to help me. He was so professional, kind, and quick. He canceled it with a quickness! Thank you.
Fantastic experience: Sage at Crunch Moreno Valley is always helpful and provides excellent customer service. Be sure to ask for him to help with anything and everything Crunch has to offer.
Negative experience: Girl who works at 5am be taking a shower while on the clock. Anybody could go right in from 5till 6:30... she's in the restroom most of the time. Never is in the front desk to give assistance. Basically not working! Doesn't greet people, awful customer service. Management at this building is just the worst. Prefer any other gym!
Negative experience: I’m extremely disappointed with Crunch Fitness as a whole. Till this day although I am no longer a gym member. I’m still getting charged every single month. I call and I’m constantly being taken in circles, it’s frustrating and no one seems to care, even management. Don’t recommend this place at all. Unprofessional!

Negative experience: I am here to visit family and got a card for 1 month free. When I mentioned that I was only going to be here for 2 weeks they said I couldn't use the card and then charged me $25 for two weeks, which is more than their regular monthly rate. I got ripped off
Negative experience: I do not like how they do business here. They are very sketchy and do not obey contracts so be careful. I had originally bought a months worth of training sessions, however when I received the email the manager had selected 3 months, which was not what I verbally agreed to. I decided to not go through with the training sessions and as per the contract, I delivered a written notice, however it’s been over two weeks and I still haven’t received my money, not even a receipt of cancellation. They kept questioning why I want to end the trainings, but nowhere on the contract does it say I need an explanation to cancel. It says I am entailed to a refund. I was also given a free training session and used it, but when I went to cancel the manager said he was going to use the free training at the end of my sessions. He also said I would have to talk to some other trainer in order to cancel. I have talked to several people since then but still have not received confirmation, I also have not seen that manager since. Unfortunately I don’t recall his name but he had brown curly hair, and his name wasn’t even on the contract as the salesperson. Overall very sketchy business. They just want money and do not value their customers. They also harass you to buy their products. When I was walking out the door a trainer kept trying to get me to buy some supplements saying women need it, when I said I wasn’t interested he kept persisting and asking why. Very unprofessional salesmen and uncomfortable environment.
Positive experience: I love this place! I came here at a very low point in my life and it totally uplifted my spirits and morale about life. It gave me a rejuvenated sense of hope and purpose. Also, opened my my eyes into believing and gaining confidence within myself. Relearned that through dedication, honesty and truth within myself that just about anything is possible if you're willing to commit and sacrifice certain things. Thank you CRUNCH FITNESS ✌️

Negative experience: The gym is kept clean and equipment is up to date however , it’s been multiple weekends where the employee comes in Late , and it’s been going on for a while now. It’s ridiculous the memberships aren’t free and this is unacceptable people have work to do and mornings are the only time we have to get a workout in . I hope the manager or whoever is in charge fixes this ongoing issue. This review was written Sunday 4/16 and it’s 7:48 when the gym opens at 7 am .

Negative experience: I used to like this place it's just that I can't use the restroom peaceful. Every time I go to get dressed to put on my workout outfit, 3 minutes go by an older Hispanic man who is maintenance just walks in cleaning who knows what. He heard me flush the toilet, but he didn't leave. It took him a minute to leave cause I didn't trust him. I waited for him to leave. Then an hour goes by cause I was done with my workout I'm back in the stalls putting on my clothes then I hear another guy flushing toilets didn't yell if someone was in the restroom so I flushed the toilet, I walked out to wash my hands saw him hiding in the woman's showers getting his peak at me or least trying to This time, it was a black guy. Now I can see why women don't use the restrooms at crunch fitness. The maintenance is pervs. I told one girl who works there she said the same thing the short Hispanic man doesn't knock or say anything just walks in the restroom. I wish they would hire woman maintenance. At least, I'll feel more comfortable using the woman's restrooms. The equipment are always broken it takes them forever to fix it. Seriously, annually fee $50 after my cancelation. They don't bother emailing you back. Everything has to be done in person. The annual fee is like a punishment all because of a cancelation.
Fantastic experience: Honestly crunch is a great choice for all levels of gym patrons I also have la fitness membership but still kept crunch because the price I pay for it I could easily spend on 1 fast food meal, sometimes I get tired of the big gym and need a switch up. I’ve been with this location since they opened i would always go before 2pm and it’s never crowded. I’ve been there on occasion after 5pm and it gets somewhat crowded but that’s any gym. The equipment is well maintained and the gym feel cleaner than the mega gyms. Great gym.

Negative experience: I called to cancel my membership and my personal trainer plan weeks before it was due and they still took my money from my bank. Almost $200. Called them multiple times and went there to get my money back with all the proof, they first told me yes to the refund because it was their fault and after weeks of waiting for my money and not getting it back, I called again few times and they told me that they were not going to refund my money because I agreed to go to the sessions when I clearly said no to them and that I just wanted my money back because I couldn't go anymore. Careful people!! They are fast to fill your contract and everything about money but the don't help when it's about complaints and listening to the costumer!

Negative experience: One squat rack, zero deadlift platforms. Terrible gym, I've seen apartment and hotel gyms with more equipment.
Fantastic experience: Pretty decent gym. Not to crowded when I do go. The customer service manger was pretty helpful and really took the time to help us. 2nd week already and I'm satisfied so far. Definitely recommend.
Positive experience: It's all right. Not great, but just ok. They have enough to get a workout, but lack squat racks. The staff and personal trainers don't really give a rip about people working out there. I noticed a couple guys really screwing up squats to the point they could get hurt. Went to go get a personal trainer to help them out because I don't want to be that guy, plus I'm mid workout. Maybe they could score some new business, and you know what they told me? "Well i don't want to do that either, why don't you do it?" You kidding me? Like, don't you work here? Don't you want to help people to possibly get more business? Whatever, I did help those guys myself. I should almost demand a paycheck from Crunch for doing their job.

Fantastic experience: One of the smaller Crunch gyms, it's inside a low level mall. But it's pleasant and well kept. Cleaner than some of the bigger older Crunch gyms. I liked it.

Negative experience: I called yesterday and spoke with staff yesterday and asked if they were still opene, and their business hours. Staff confirmed that they open monday to friday 5am.this is the 3rd time I take their word for it , take preworkout and I show up and waited until 6:05 and they still were closed. I am really unsatisfied with the service.maybe the guy isnt taking his job serious...covid has nothing to do with it neither because he has confirmed hours even though this has been going on for over a month already
Positive experience: I like the zumba classes with the new guy. He is intense! You really get your heart up also he has different dance steps. Only complaint is that the zumba classroom gets super hot (I don't mind it) but many of the ladies there open the big sliding garage like door and I guess someone has complained to management etc... which I personally think it's ridiculous. I feel they complained because of the trainer, not so much because of the music.
Positive experience: Solid gym. Has all of the basic essential equipment to get a good workout. Staff is really polite. The manager is great. I haven’t had real good luck with the personal trainers, but other than that, I like coming here.

Negative experience: COMPLETE SCAM!!! Manager was very rude and yelled at me through the phone after hanging up the first time. I was promised a 1$ membership and was tricked into a year membership. Called and they claimed the manager was busy, called again and talked to the manager and she told me "that's life" I went from paying 1 dollar to 175 without using my membership ONCE. DON'T GO HERE!!! Manager told me she didnt care about how I felt. I've been told the gym is dirty and unkempt. Update: I forgot to mention they never sent me an email with my contract but the manager said it was OBVIOUS that it was a 10 day notice due to the email never sent.update:was contacted by the support group and now owe 20 dollars for a service I never used and was tricked into buying. Emailed back and never got a reply. DON'T GO HERE ITS A SCAM!!!

Positive experience: Adiquitly clean and friendly people some rules not to hard easy work outs great results.
Fantastic experience: Great environment located inside the mall. Open space plan, typically low traffic (even on weekday after noons through the evening) machines tend to be open for the most part.

Negative experience: Another nickel and dime operation. Not to mention the lack of cleaning and poor hygiene of the gym. Two months after you start there is a $49 charge for your annual fee. NO! it is not what you think you pay in the beginning is not only the first months fee but a Fee + another Fee and yet they don't charge this additional annual fee until two months later? Why? Also you only have 5 days to make any changes, as I found the hard way. After 9 days I tried to make a change and was told I could as long as I paid twice those first fees but I still the same person. I am not buying two memberships. I tried repeatedly with Gym staff who just pays lip service and come to find out are not really trained to spell out these charges. Had I been clearly signaled that this was what they did, I may not have joined. The manager said sorry pointing at the computer screen as if to show me how inflexible and how stringent the "system" can be, in not allowing her to help me....BOGUS! I wish I could say go somewhere else, but at this point I am going to the California Better Business Bureau. Memberships are not 9.95 a month. that is not my experience.

Positive experience: So, for the most part this has been a decent gym. But, the bathrooms never seem to get cleaned properly. Plus I showed up at 5 am this morning and no one has shown up. It's now almost 6 and still no one has shown up. At this point I wasted a dose of pre workout and I'm not getting to use the service I paid for. I think me and others that were also here at 5 need to be compensated.

Negative experience: Worst gym ever! My friend and I got scammed by a trainer. We paid him and everything. We went to the gym a few days later, and find out he quit! Nobody seems to know where he is (at least they act like it) and the gym won't refund us either! The manager called saying he would be at the gym at before 12pm to meet up with us and give us a refund. He never showed up! He's never there! He said he would give us a refund "over the phone" but I really doubt he'll even call. DON'T GO TO THIS GYM! IT HAS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!

Negative experience: BEFORE SIGNING UP, READ THE FINE PRINT AND KNOW THE HASSLE INVOLVED IN CANCELING!!! This gym was convinient at the time I signed up. I was pleased with the equipment available. My biggest attraction was the availability of a shower. It made possible for me to workout before work and not be sweaty. However, I moved and this gym was no longer convinient (40 miles away). I called to cancel. During my first time call the very cheerful rep stated I had to be there in person or of the was anyone if like to transfer the membership to. I explained I moved and she reiterate her statement along with "we just need to make sure it's you." She said she would have a manager contact me. I got a call from a manager and missed the call (I was busy with a client). I called again and the rep said there was record of me attempting cancel. I asked to have a manger call me. No call back. I received an email stating my account was past due and to email back with updated card info (I contact my card company to stop payment). I replied to the email with my concerns and wanting to cancel. Got a reply back but no hello. I Requested a manager to call me. No call back. Sent another email requesting a manger call back. This is truly terrible and it seems to happen a lot. My wife is a bank manger and told me many clients hers have complained about similar experiences

Fantastic experience: I love Thursday nights Zumba class with Melissa. I’ve been to all the other classes but sadly it’s only because of Melissa that I still come to Crunch. The bigger gym chains like 24 Hour Fitness have much better classes and are far better overall but that reflects in the price difference as well. I guess you get what you pay for. Crunch is extremely cheap, so if that’s your priority then it’s worth it. So please don’t get rid of Melissa cuz I can’t afford 24 Hour Fitness and Zumba is my therapy session right now when I need a break from my screaming kids, so thanks Crunch for that
