Positive experience: It’s really clean in there, a bit too dark for my taste. But the staff is friendly. The 30 dollars a month is cool but the 175 dollar deposit is a bit too much for the amenities they offer, no swimming pool or spa or other extra features? Maybe 60-100 bucks sounds more reasonable tbh

Fantastic experience: Have been a member since 2020 and as gyms go, this facility really has everything you need with the mellowness to counter the crowds of big box gyms. Facility is kept clean and tidy! That is a BIG thing to me. My only complaint isn’t even about the gym but rather the afternoon rush that comes with the dance studio upstairs. Can make it hard around 4-7pm to find parking at times. My ONLY complaint. Even for a serious lifter, you can find your needs met here

Fantastic experience: I was a member with the gym for a year and loved the place. I had to swithc gyms due to work and other gyms were crazy buys and to big, i recently joined back 2 months ago and boy did I miss this gym, the people are friendly and equipment is great.

Fantastic experience: LOL to all the reviews about people trying to quit and having a hard time... its a gym, thats how they all have been for me. its pulling teeth to leave any gym. ANYWAYS, to review this gym..... if youre looking for a gym that doesnt have a ton of people in it then this IS the gym for you. If youre looking for a gym that is clean all the time, then this IS the gym for you. No matter the time i go there is no waiting for any equipment any day of the week. Only thing i hate are the weak hours on the weekends. i wish they were open later. WIFI in gym, which is nice, even though it doesnt work all the time makes up for the lack of cell signal (NO pandora) Staff at the front does what they are supposed to. they are friendly and attentive, what more do you want?

Fantastic experience: Great gym! but needs work on customer service specially in billing . I dont know how many times Ive tried calling to speak to Melisa but she's never there Melissa new name should be called Houdini.

Fantastic experience: Moving out of town and sad to lose out on this gym. Really great little quiet spot to get some workouts in!

Negative experience: Eek. Anywhere that won't give you pricing without coming in is sketchy. How pretentious to think your time is more valuable than mine. Guess I'll just go to one of the other many gyms.

Fantastic experience: Love how much of a family CFC is! They welcome you by name and greet you with a smile. It’s nice to finally have a gym that isn’t super packed all the time, I can get in, do my workout and not ever have to wait for a machine! :)

Negative experience: Staff is friendly however, gym classes are limited and outdated. Equipment is not in good condition. When I tried to cancel they continued to charge me even though I was on month to month billing with no contract. I would not recommend this gym.

Negative experience: Read the fine print when signing up. You will have a really hard time canceling. Told us verbally that we can cancel anytime. Nope! 1 year and no getting out of it. Pathetic service

Negative experience: Very dissapointed with the cleanliness and customer service. They refuse to cancel my membership that is on auto pay so I had to have my bank cancel my card they have on file. Management was unwilling totwork with me at all. Any positive reviews you read are only because they will give you a free shirt for doing a positive review. The gym is old and dingy and the equipment is falling apart. And beware of the childcare. The supervisor sits on her phone in there while I have walked in to find my toddler drinking another baby's bottle. It's also never cleaned.

Negative experience: Awful cancellation process. They will renew your membership without your consent. Apparently only 1 person (not even the owner) can cancel your membership and is only available 4 hours a day. This awful customer service.

Fantastic experience: Great gym. Great staff. Rarely busy. Has all the weight lifting equipment I need.

Positive experience: I've been a member for 18 years and have always liked the folks there. Plenty of equipment for a smaller gym but if you plan on working out between 3pm and 5pm Mon-Fri forget finding a place to park. The JDI dance crowd takes up most of the parking spaces leaving you waiting and waiting for a parking space.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to CFC for about a year and my husband and I love the place and the staff. Kelly is always helpful and welcomes you with a smile ALWAYS!!!! Shelly is exceptional with her booty camp classes!!! Love this gym!

Positive experience: Love this place , but this morning I got burned for the second time... plan your day around getting your gym session in and you show up at open time and no one is there. wait an hour, with others that are pissed, and still no one shows up. Second time this has happened.

Negative experience: These people will cheat you of your subscription---they're all about money. I'll give them a negative star if I can. I joined Canyon Fitness Center on January 6, 2017. I told them that I'll be moving soon, so I cannot commit on any long term subscription/membership. So, they decided to signed me up for a month to month subscription-- I paid the first and last month. When they signed me up on January 6th, they did not prorate my membership, I paid for the whole month. Then, three weeks after, my credit card was charged another full monthly payment. I called them, and informed that I've moved and asked them to waive that monthly fee. They could care less for my situation and didn't really want to refund or waive any money. I told them over the phone that I want to cancel my membership, but Melissa, the manager said that they'll only cancel it if I send a letter of cancellation-- otherwise , they'll continue to charge my card. I was hoping for their consideration, since I've only used the gym once (on the 6th of January and won't be able to use it going forward since, I was already offered a job in another state). But they have NO Consideration whatsoever, they just want to collect money for services that was not even rendered. It's just not fair.

Fantastic experience: I live near by my wife and I think this gym is great could use some repairs in weight room though can't never have enough TVs

Negative experience: Terrible hours. If it's any holiday, even like Groundhog's day expect them to be closed for a week... all days surrounding a holiday they will be closed or close at noon if they're feeling generous. Obviously a bit of an exaggeration about GH day but you know what I mean if you are a member! I've driven there thinking of course they'd be open it's 7pm on a Sunday and wow they're closed! And Scott is super annoying. He harrases and thinks it's his job to flirt with everyone. I try to avoid him, he doesn't help in any way just makes you want to not go there.

Negative experience: I want to quit, but they are making me drive to Canyon Lake (my gym is in Rancho Cucamonga, same company) or go to the post office to get a "certified letter" sent to them. Staff is NOT friendly, they are RUDE! I have been to many private gyms throughout my life (Here in So-Cal and in Maryland). This is by far the worst. The lady on the phone laughed at me and said all gyms make it this hard to quit. NOT TRUE. I've always been able to quit the gym I've joined with ease, no games.
