Fantastic experience: Honestly picked this place ok a whim and pleased to say that it's pretty good especially compared to the la fitness i used to go to. The equipment is clean and in good shape, the place does get a bit crowded around peak times but that's expected. The gym goers are pretty respectful and everyone just focuses on their sets. Only con I'd say would be the size of their lockers as with la fitness I could fit my motorcycle helmet in my locker there but it's fine. Cool spot and the staff is very friendly.

Negative experience: Avoid Dynamic Fitness at all costs! This place is a nightmare. They ask for your Social Security Number (DO NOT GIVE IT!) and then make unauthorized changes to your contract without informing you. Always make sure to keep a copy of the contract you sign, as they will try to exploit it later. When you refuse to pay for services you didn’t agree to, they create false bills and send them to a collection agency, threatening your credit score. It’s an extremely shady practice and downright unethical. Don’t be fooled by the positive 5-star reviews – it’s likely just their PR team trying to cover up their bad reputation. Please read 1 reviews to get a bigger picture. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place.

We provide all members copies of their agreements within 24 hours of enrollment. We want our memers to be fully informed regarding the services they've agreed to. We also provide this information on our FAQs page, our Dynamic Fitness app and our teams are well versed as well. We agree, there are some things you've mentioned in your review that are categorically not a part of how we operate. We have escalated your concern to our leadership team. Positive experience: The swimming pool needs some attention, power wash it at least, it feels like it’s not cleaned either. The rest, it’s doable.

Fantastic experience: When I walked in to take a tour of the gym, Lauren at the front desk was so nice, professional and very helpful. I did not feel pressured at all to join like most gyms, she was very attentive to me and to others that walked in. This gym is clean, lots of equipment and I love the energy. I have joined many gyms but this is my favorite one! You will not be disappointed at all.

Fantastic experience: Great gym, they’re always updating and repairing the place with new equipment in a timely manner. All the trainers are very knowledgeable with their own niche and expertise. Got stuff for the hard core lifters too like bumper plates. Love the turf area and punching bag.

Fantastic experience: By far my fav gym! I signed up for personal training to help stay on track and HORACE SMITH is by far THE BEST trainer I have worked with! His energy and professionalism is unbeatable! I started taking his classes and am definitely far from disappointed! If you need a trainer! He’s your guy ! Edit to say: Colton the manager is also great! Had got my tour from him and he always greets with a smile! The whole team makes it so easy to come to the gym and want to workout! Such great energy and good vibes through the whole place! You can tell management is great!

Fantastic experience: It’s been a year since my wife and I joined this gym, primarily attending group fitness classes with Coach Marcel and occasionally with Coach Dolores. Having previously experienced F45, CrossFit, and other programs, I find Marcel’s classes unique. He emphasizes proper posture and genuinely cares about each participant's form. Overall, Coach Marcel delivers a comprehensive fitness experience that effectively targets all aspects of physical conditioning, including core classes and boot camps focused on athleticism, cardio, pliability, and strength training. Negative experience: The worst gym!!! They scam you. They will not let you get out of the membership fees even if you cancel with 30 days notice, they over charge you and not respond so you get tired of calling. Do not go here.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Dynamic for a few weeks now, and im so glad that i found this gym! Every member of the team is so helpful and just kind, especially my guy Gio! The amenities and equipment are good too, but the quality of the staff is what stands out to me the most! Absolute 10/10 experience every time i go, so much so that im glad to walk the two miles it takes for me to get there! Colton (the gym manager) has put together an all-star cast that makes you want to go workout, and their attitude makes a big difference! Genuinely can’t say enough good things about Dynamic

Fantastic experience: It's honestly a great facility, and the foot traffic wasn't as high as I thought it would be. Quality equipment, and plenty of it. Exercises you wouldn't find at beginner gyms. (Seated calf raise, weighted belt squats, 45° back row) Crazily enough, I'm writing this review after cancelling, because the gentleman at the front desk was the first person at any gym that had empathy for my exit and took care of it on the spot. If I ever sign up for a gym again, then it will be here. Thank you for the great service!

Fantastic experience: Here the the truth about this gym. First join a gym you will actually go to. This means find one close. It also means it is clean. Finally has good equipment. I joined here about a year ago and left to go to 24 hour fitness. I stopped going to the gym after joining 24 hours because it was dirty equipment was old and it just didn’t have the feel of dynamic. I prepaid 24 hour for a year. I cancelled it and rejoined dynamic. I attend regularly now. When I initially joined dynamic I was 240 lbs now I am 209. I am trying to get to 190 lbs. I would already be there if I didn’t switch gyms. Live and learn. The membership is definitely worth it if you are willing to put in the work. I pay like 5.00 every 2 weeks. Can’t beat that

Fantastic experience: It's a great clean gym! I mainly attend the group fitness classes. They have a wide selection of classes in the mornings, evenings & weekends! The instructors are excellent; the classes are very challenging, but the atmosphere is always great! Also, if you are dealing with an injury, the instructors will work with you.

Positive experience: Gym is great! But the ladies bathroom is always disgusting! Toilet paper everywhere, sinks surface dirty, toilets never cleaned. I know we should do our part.. but let's not JUST mop the floors...

Negative experience: A regulation should be applied to this type of people who only make a mess, in addition to not returning the dumbbells to their place. This can cause an accident at any time, I hope the administration and management do something about this type of disrespectful people.

Fantastic experience: Great staff and great trainers. I have the top package and it is worth the money to have 24 hour access to a very diverse gym, pool, sauna, steam room, and cryo/massage chairs. The kids zone hours are fantastic, gives me the choice of evening or morning most days of the week. My kids LOVE hanging in the kids zone and ask me every day if they can go to “kids club”. The staff in the kids zone has been top notch as well.

Negative experience: Just joined a few weeks ago, and this place stays dirty. People leave their cleaning rags laying all over the place. The bathrooms and lockerroom look like they're cleaned maybe once a week. The music is insanely loud. I have in ear headphones listening to Heavy Metal, and can't drown out their music. I've said something to three people, and they haven't done anything. Two told me they don't know how to adjust the volume. Just ridiculous. Ready to find another gym. Edit: look around and 85% or more of the people coming in are wearing headphones. It sounds like a nightclub it's so damn loud. I would know. Why does the music have to be so loud, when everyone is listening to their own music? It makes zero sense. It's like it's LOUDER today.

Negative experience: A good place to train, I don't understand why they changed the cleaning girl, she's the only one who always kept everything nice and clean from the moment you walked in, a kind, helpful and polite girl, despite it being a lot of work for one person she always kept it nice, in the years that I have been coming to this gym, I have seen many girls working and none of them spent much time and didn't clean like this girl, how sad that she is no longer here, nothing is nice anymore and everything looks bad

Positive experience: Love the gym, staff, and equipment. Although the gym does get busy, it’s never overcrowded. The only thing I will say is that the showers could be more clean. Other than that, I have no complaints.

Positive experience: I’ve been coming to this fitness center for about two years and it’s been okay especially with the location from my house but it seems they don’t really clean the equipments especially the treadmills and cross training as well as the bicycle machines. There’s always hair and furs and dirt everywhere on these workout machines. Very gross and disgusting. It’s obvious they don’t clean these often enough or even at all. Very disappointing they seriously need to keep up with cleanliness because gyms are already full of germs no one wants to see all this when they’re trying exercises.

Fantastic experience: I love how this gym has a variety of available equipment in such a compact space. Makes it more convenient and easier to locate things. The restrooms are always clean everytime I walk-in which shows how much care is emphasized in this gym. My only regret is that I should have joined sooner.

Negative experience: They do u dirty , they send u to collection if u missed one day of payment even tho if u call Read the contract ! This place it’s trash

Positive experience: Been here a little over a year, and it's great! A little disappointed they got rid of a standing leg machine that doesn't go on your shoulders because I've had surgery on my shoulder and can't put weight on it. But whatever still have the leg press.

Fantastic experience: I love this gym! I have been training with Natasha for about a month and I see results. My ACL been torn for 16 years and she’s been doing a wonderful job with training me and teaching me how to workout correctly without putting too much on my knee. Negative experience: The stars go to the staff. Always friendly. Always helpful. However, this location is a dump.. The water fountains are taped up and broken, a lot of machines go out of service often, the sauna has been broken for weeks, there's isn't even soap in the bathrooms.. This business even charges you a maintenance fee AFTER you've paid your membership.. Don't know where that money is going besides into someone's pocket?

To your point, when equipment is down - we move as quickly as possible to ensure those amenities are available. We can confirm the sauna has been repaired and we are currently in the process of repairing our water fountain. We can assure you of our reinvestment & dedication in our facilities with new equipment arrivals, our recent addition of benches, workout space and studio fit spin bike additions. Fantastic experience: We gave this gym a try using their guest pass. I really liked how they were not pushy or trying to sell us anything at our first visit, compared to other gyms. Me and my partner will be signing up for a membership soon. Great vibe and equipment!

Fantastic experience: I have been a member of Dynamic Fitness since day one at the Katy location. The reason for my longevity as a member is due in large part to the absolutely fantastic staff including Chris, Colton, and Janelle. The gym is well kept and my requests are always promptly cared for. The care of the members show through the great leadership of Colton. When my membership was up for renewal, Janelle did all the legwork to find me the best deal which got me hooked for another 3 wonderful years. Recently when the pool was getting serviced with a temporary shutdown, I was floored when I got a call from Chris to let me know and saved me a wasted trip to the gym; Chris gave me the exact date/time when the pool will be reopened the next day. With every visits to Katy Dynamic Fitness, I always feel good when entering the gym and being greeted by the friendly and cheerful staff to leaving with farewells that leave a smile on my face all the way to my car. Fantastic experience: Absolutely love this gym. Im 23 and Have been working out here since 2018… moved away for a year and when i moved back i came right back to this gym. The staff is so kind and personable especially colton and danny! The trainers are always pushing me to exceed my strength and show me i can do much more than what i think im capable of. The people who workout here are very kind and everyone supports each other whether youre a beginner or have been here for years. 10/10 would recommend ! I love dynamic

Negative experience: Literally have never been to this gym or figured out how I have a membership to it. Iv reach out several times to cancel and try to get to the bottom of the issue and they refuse to help me. Would stay away from this place at all costs.

Not due to negligence, ploy, gimmick or trick. If by chance you've had a legal name change, that may assist the team locally. Negative experience: Everyone needs to know these people will steal from you. DONT SIGN UP!! I’ve been trying cancel my membership since February and they are still dipping their fingers into my account. It’s April and they charged me again, for what!! This is basically stealing now!! Advice don’t sign up here

We address this in several ways, the first being an electronic delivery of your agreement to the email address you've placed on file with us. This document would outline all the in's and out's of your membership, including our freeze & cancellation processes. Additionally, we've placed this information on our FAQs on our home page. Again, we want to be fully transparent - no tricks, no gimmicks. It is unfortunate your experience ended the way it did - we do wish you all the best.
Negative experience: Be careful they will get you in a contract and send you to collections once there is one little issue.. and by issue I mean COVID. I went to this gym religiously, had a trainer, and was extremely consistent for 2 years. Once I was able to go back I asked to stop my membership (I paid for training and my membership during Covid) and the General manager said I would have to pay a large amount to stop my membership even though I paid $1000’s of dollars. Keep in mind I paid for training and membership the entire year of 2020 without attendance. They will do you dirty immediately, so BEWARE!
Fantastic experience: Love this location the front staff are very friendly especially Mr. Shelby C his always welcoming everybody with a motivation of the day. I had a chance to workout With him this past weekend and he did amazing Job. I would highly recommend Shelby Clark.

Fantastic experience: This gym is superior. The amenities and equipment are perfect. The price point is an added bonus. I started personal training with Shelby with the goal of being confident in the gym- using equipment, dumbbell exercises, and body weight exercises. I can say I’m not only confident in the gym, but in myself. Shelby held me accountable and encouraged me every step of the way. The staff at Dynamic fitness are friendly and kind. They frequently voice that they are happy you’re there and proud of you for making the time. I would recommend this gym to anyone and everyone (and frequently do). If you’re on the fence, do it, you won’t be disappointed. I had to cancel my membership due to a multistate move and to say I’ll miss this place- doesn’t do it justice. The cancellation process was easy and painless. 10/10 would recommend.

Negative experience: Sad to see that other customers have dealt with the same thing that I have. I contacted members services(Jan 2024) to cancel my membership prior to the date of my membership coming up to the 1 year mark. I was told that it would be cancelled within 30 days. Here it is 2 months later and have had to go through my bank for this gym to stop trying to take money. Poor communication through this location as well. Once I called to speak with the 3rd party that they utilize about why payments were still being processed after I was reassured that my plan would be cancelled Feb 22nd , I was told someone at this location renewed my plan for another year SMH. Money hungry and just greedy. I would never recommend this gym !

Fantastic experience: When became a member they provided a tour of the gym, which to me is nice and is above and beyond for me. The environment of the gym is normal nothing crazy. What I’m paying for monthly is just to use the equipment and locker room which are all packaged in the basic. the gym provides so much more. -pool -hot tub -sauna -hi-tech massage chair -tanning room -1on1 coaching -group coaching/ classes For me I can’t afford that right now, but its great to know the gym has many tools for you to use to get you to where you want to go. I mostly like the machines and the environment. Haven’t found anything negative so far after 1 month.

Fantastic experience: This is one of the best places to workout- practically a one shop for everything. Most importantly, the staff members. Janelle signed me up in December 2023 and I've not looked back. She was terrific... if it weren't for her I may not have signed up that quickly. I wouldn't choose another place for a good, thorough workout! By extension, Manager Colton took care of me on my first day when I fell sick. He gave me a gatorade to boost my electrolytes to stabilize my dizzyness. True caring indeed.

Fantastic experience: I feel like this place is a hidden gem (gym)! This is the best fitness facility for many reasons: Friendly staff always on their A-Game, love the equipment and it’s always fixed quickly if needing repairs, members are nice and respectful, the place is always clean, good music - overall a fantastic environment. I have worked out for many years, and Dynamic tops all other gyms I have been a member at including those in other cities and also the big, over-priced clubs. Thank you to the Dynamic Team!

Fantastic experience: I’ve really enjoyed working out here so far! I’ve had several gym memberships and Dynamic by far has the most variety in gym equipment that I’ve seen! Staff is very welcoming and friendly and you can really tell that they take care of the place because it is always so clean in there! And the sign up process is very quick and smooth. We’re very happy our friends recommended this gym to us!

Negative experience: Read the fine print carefully and beware of poor customer service. Their billing is handled by a third party and you will never know who's the manger of the premises. In my case, I signed up for one year contract, and upon repeated calls that I want to discontinue due to changed circumstances, I have been paying for over a year. I could hardly use the facilities. Without intimation via phone or email, my contract was renewed on a month to month basis (citing terms of contract) which cannot be canceled without a 30 day notice period. I kept getting tossed around and it has been frustrating to say the least. In my so many years of subscribing to services, this is disappointing and a first. Going by other similar reviews, it is clear I am not the only one who feels cheated and going by the response of management, doesn't look like anything will change either. Choose wisely!

The Manager on site has been the same manager for several years, so we're surprised to hear this. We find he and his team very responsive and very member centric. Regarding your membership - we believe in full transparency. No tricks. No gimmicks. We accomplish this several ways, but step one is ensuring you have a copy of your membership agreement within 24 hours of your enrollment. This is delivered to the email address you've placed on file with us. Our memberships allows you 3 days to review your membership, and should you decide, change your mind with a full refund. Additionally, it states the steps needed to cancel outside of those conditions including qualified cancellation exceptions (some common "changed circumstances" will apply here). We have this information posted on our FAQs online and provided you additional resource via our App for client services via email or phone - putting the control of your memberships in your hands. It is unfortunate that your exit from our gym has left you this impression. We do wish you all the best.
Fantastic experience: I joined Dynamic Fitness because it is located very close to my house and I needed a convenient and reliable place to swim for ironman training. The staff is incredible, friendly, and welcoming. There is always a very nice women cleaning the facility. It has everything I need at a very reasonable price. I have not yet used the childcare, but I plan to try it out over spring break week. The the pool is a bit older, it is not crowded. The couple times where I have made complaints about pool chemicals being off, they have quickly called someone in to fix it. Love this gym and I hope to be a member for awhile.

Negative experience: Update: I called and could hear a person in the background being rude and screaming no multiple times that I have to pay 159 to fix their mistake. Take your time and money elsewhere to get treated better the gym ain’t all that anyways Original : Signed up and specifically asked to be on a month to month plan. Turns out I’m on a anual contract.

Fantastic experience: Could be cleaner in the early AM, but for the price and availability it’s 5 stars. It’s rare that an equipment is down for more than a couple days. Had a nice young man open the gym in the mornings, he was on it. Very much appreciated his devotion. Sadly he is no longer there as I would expect- he is on to grander things

Negative experience: Could you please fix steamer and dry sauna. Sometimes they work and half of the time is not. Also not clean inside of steamer. When I asked reception today Saturday where most people coming they said they turned off since morning to clean it and I was there 1 pm and still was not clean not hot inside and this is not first time. Could you please clean and do maintenance of sauna and steamer early in the morning when people not using them?

For safety reasons, our dry suana's and steam room will turn off during our unstaffed/overnight hours. Unfortunately these are not available 24/7. We can assure you - they are both currently operational. We will bring your concern to the leadership team regarding the times they are cleaned. These rooms would have to be turned off & cooled down for safe cleaning and then the reheated once this is completed which would be quite rapid. We do wish you all the best.
Fantastic experience: Very spacious and overall clean gym. Has plenty of weights and strength training equipment unlike many other chain gyms that are filled with mainly cardio equipment. It is priced very competitively for all the amenities that are included. Colton the manager is a great guy with a positive attitude. He explains everything very well and makes sure any issues are resolved promptly.

Fantastic experience: Best Training experience by far! Natasha Yancey is experienced and most importantly she listens to her clients. She’s also not shy about making you feel comfortable pushing your personal limits. Her training great results. I came in 7th in my age group with the Houston Half Marathon recently. I’ve never placed before. I’m a fan! She’s worth it.

Fantastic experience: Just got a membership here a couple of days ago and I’m so glad I did. The equipment is solid and kept very clean. Most importantly, the staff is outstanding! Chris and Janelle helped me get things started with my membership and they were very helpful and polite. Whenever I walk in, the staff greets me very nicely and it builds such a positive environment.

Fantastic experience: Every time I come in the girls at the front are always sweet! Janelle Cris Mariah and Colton are always there when I come in and always make me feel welcomed! The gym is definitely one of the cleaner ones I’ve been to, I always see one of the staff members checking the trash or putting the equipment back where it belongs. The staff is what makes this place!

Fantastic experience: I have been coming a full wk now and very impressed with all the encouragement and help wit all the staff. I always leave feeling I have had a great work out instead of frustration from not getting an equipment or help when needed. I would like to add the Dfit classes with Duane and Shelby rock. They are very encouraging and the full hr with Shelby didn't even feel like it. A huge shout out to the Dynamic team

Fantastic experience: I transferred from the Sugar Land location to this location and I love how spacious it is. A team member, Colton was also very helpful and friendly getting me set up with their security app they use to get inside during night time.

Fantastic experience: My son and i have been going to this gym for a year now. The staff are genuinely warm and friendly ( Janelle, Mariah, Kris, and co. ). They update their equipment yearly. Mornings are great and not crowded. Clean gym ,bathroom. The steam room is very steamy. The cryo chair is a bonus. Made the mistake of signing up with la fitness for 3 days. They have ancient equipment there. Cancelled la fitness katy. Crawled back to dynamic and Janelle and Mariah welcome me back. Lol
Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming to Dynamic for over 7 years and I literally won’t ever go anywhere else. I’ve left a couple of times, but ended up right back. Everytime you go it’s familiar faces, familiar staff, and it’s a nice, clean and organized gym. The weights are always where they should be, they expand and listen to the wants of the clients especially regarding the machines. The sense of community here is so good and makes even better to come here. Everyone encourages you and just motivates you on your workouts.

Negative experience: I've been with this gym for 3 years now. I can never get ahold of a representative, wether call or message or going to the gym when I'm available to. Every time I look at my account they're charging me 500 dollars while not getting an email or notification in their app nor a call about it. And sabotaging into another year of subscription to lessen the debt. It's infuriating. I work second shift/nights and it's almost impossible for me to get there at a time when I can talk to somebody about it. Can't say I recommend this place for anybody who operates outside of normal buisness hours. I've been trying for a week now to get ahold of a person for questions about my membership to no human response. The only good thing I can really say, for me, is they have a lap pool and are 24 hours. Edit to add: even after not telling me about the 500 dollar charge, they've continued to collect bi weekly payment. For who knows how long.

Our members are able to submit requests to cancel from the palm of their hands and at a time that works for them. We do understand with all our efforts, there can be disconnects. Negative experience: Gym is just fine. Trying to cancel my membership was a massive pain. They told me I had to send a letter or email to cancel, couldn’t do it via phone. Then I have to pay for two more payments after I want to cancel “as per my contract”. Not a fan of these scummy tactics for cancelling a membership.

Fantastic experience: I had never lifted weights and wanted to get more in shape. I joined this gym and started training with Dwayne. It has been a year and a half and I have loved my experience there. All of the staff is very friendly, the facility is clean, and the equipment is great. I originally thought I would only be comfortable with a female trainer but I highly recommend training with Dwayne! He challenges me but also is very careful to not over do it which had always been a problem for me. He keeps it fun while focusing on the muscles I need to strengthen for my body and goals. Dwayne is very knowledgeable about body mechanics and has helped me build muscle while not aggravating old injuries.

Negative experience: It's a nice enough gym, comparable to 24 hour fitness, but they charge a $200 cancellation fee. So don't join unless you plan on working out there forever

The fee you're referring to is a $150 early termination fee, provided you do not qualify for cancellation under our qualified cancellations. We get that life happens outside of the gym. Fantastic experience: Everyone should join extreme gym. I love their trainers and the amenities that come with the membership. I ❤️ my trainer Natasha. I have been with her for 3 sessions and I feel the difference. Natasha takes my goals to better health and to shape my body back to were I used to be. Thank you Natasha

Negative experience: They are charging me without having a contract tact from me. I have never been into a dynamic fitness nor a golds gym. I went into the gym for the first time today to tell them I have never signed up with them and requested a copy of my contract. They were unable to provide me one and didn’t know where it could be, and told me I might have signed up and forgotten about it. They said I might be lying. They told me to call a 1-800 number to obtain the contract and the representative from there told me that, no, the contract comes direct from the gym and they are responsible for it. They told me they could look into through sending of emails and they would get back with me with 24-72 hrs, i asked the manager if he could make a phone call to verify the existence of the contact and he said no, only email. I’m shocked they can’t provide me a contract even though they charge my card with no problem. Very unhelpful and unprofessional. Would not recommend

Dynamic Fitness does this to ensure full transparency, we want our members to be confident and educated on the services they've enrolled. It appears that you have a unique case as in most circumstances you, the member, can retrieve these documents via our Dynamic Fitness app, MyiClubOnline self service member portal or retrieved via club teams or our client services department. Fantastic experience: I’ve been working out with Natasha @ Barker Cypress twice a week for about a month now, and I can’t recommend her enough! She is so positive and encouraging and cares not just about the 30 minutes I’m with her, but also about what I’m doing outside of the gym. As I’m getting into my 40’s, it is so nice to have a trainer who is also a mom in the over 40 category. I feel like she really understands me! Highly recommend Dynamic & Natasha!

Fantastic experience: Love being here, love my trainer Natasha she gets to the point, hypes you up, and doesn't settle for anything but to help you be better. Mariah at the front desk is exactly the person you want to see and get all the information you need from. You won't regret being here.
