Fantastic experience: Best gym I have ever been to. It is clean, beautiful, and has everything you need. The classes are amazing and all of the trainers are great! I worked with Danielle and she was incredible and so knowledgeable. She helped me reach my goals. The manager Matt is the best. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: The cleanest gym i have ever been to!! This gym is my home away from home. Staff is friendly and kind and always helpful. The gym is always clean, all the weights are racked and organized. I can go on and on lol if I could give 10 stars i would! Hubie and Matt are always accomodating and helpful and always there for their members. You really don't find a gym like this anywhere... it's more like a family here at Push. and the best part it's affordable! This gym has different classes... oh and I forgot to mention it has a beautiful sauna!

Fantastic experience: Push is an amazing gym. Very clean with state-of-the-art equipment and at a great price for a luxurious gym. The staff is friendly and always helpful. My recommendation to anyone looking to get fit is to sign up for personal training at this gym. All the trainers are excellent, patient and very knowledgeable. Matt & Hubie helped me so much - I am in better shape now than I was 20 years ago, thanks to them! I love Push and I recommend this gym to all my friends and family <3

Negative experience: My family and I joined the gym in 2019 when they first opened. When asked about canceling our membership the manager at the time said please give us one year for our numbers and you can quit whenever you want. I’ve been around the block before w gyms so I made sure to ask. No mention of anything else. My wife and I ended up canceling and kept our daughter’s membership, neither of us had to go in to cancel. Our daughter was going to school out of state so she would freeze her account all the time over the phone and sometimes we paid for months that she wasn’t even in NY. She called to cancel late July because she got a job in Maryland and moved immediately. Push fitness now said she had to come into the gym to cancel. She ask me to go in and I didn’t understand why. Well they kept charging our credit card. I realized and went into the gym and asked for them to not charge the second month and the man at the desk was super nice and said he’ll try and get it done. Well I was billed for the second month and immediately went into the gym that day. Eric the manager came to help me and said he would resolve the charge and clean up the situation. I thanked him and said I appreciated his help. Well they never reversed any charge. Eric you are a liar! Funny how you don’t have to come into the gym to activate a membership but when you need to cancel it, they won’t do it even when you’re out of state. Shame on Push Fitness
Fantastic experience: Moved to the area recently and was looking for a nice gym for me and my family, Push delivered. The staff is accommodating and friendly, the locker rooms are always clean, the gym floor has great equipment and the layout works perfect. Great price for a great gym. Very happy to have joined the Push fitness family!

Fantastic experience: I was visiting the area from CALIFORNIA and I came in for just one day and the place was great! I signed up for a guest pass but being from out of state and just visiting the area, I suspected that the free guest pass was only for local residents. So I was willing to pay for a day pass but didn’t expect it to be so cheap! Only $20. I’m from the bay area, CA and a gym that nice and upscale looking over here would probabably charge at least $40/day. Eqiupment was all in great shape. The place was spotless, the bathrooms and locker rooms looked very nice and welcoming, the decor was great, the members seemed friendly and didn’t give me that “who’s this new guy” look :D Also I conveyed to the person at the front desk that I’d be staying in the area for a few days so he suggested that it may be better for me to buy a one month membership for $59 since the current special omitted any enrollment fee. What I liked is that it didn’t feel like he was trying to upsell me. It felt like he genuinely felt it might be a better option for me. I ended up declining and just getting a one day pass but I appreciated the offer. What I also LOVED was the clean and orderly culture of the place. Not only was everything racked but the weights were all racked accordingly. Being someone who’s worked in gyms for the last couple decades, it was a breath of fresh air. What I also liked was that an employee was off duty and working out on his own in his in his regular workout clothes but saw that I needed help and called someone over for me. The manager Dev was also very nice and pleasant. I met him at the end of my workout and we had a nice little friendly chat about where I was visiting from, how i liked the area etc. Great experience overall.

Positive experience: Its a pretty nice gym. Very clean and organized, friendly staff etc. But I cant help but feel like every time I go there, theres some thing that causes a mild inconvenience. ie: no paper towels, something in the facilities out of order, out of soap, etc. Also, whlie there is a variety of equipment to use, I feel like theres just not enough when the gym is busy. Theres definitely ample space while working out and thats probably the design theyre going for, I just wish they utilized the space they have more.

After reviewing your last visit, as well as our maintenance and cleaning logs, we did confirm that the paper towel dispenser in the men’s bathroom is currently out of order and awaiting replacement. However, we do have 8 other paper towel dispensers available throughout the facility, along with Dyson hand dryers in each restroom for your convenience. Regarding the soap, all 5 dispensers in the bathroom were fully stocked and functional during your visit. Our dedicated cleaning staff regularly checks and maintains them throughout the day to ensure everything is in working order. In terms of equipment availability, we understand your concern. We are a boutique-style gym and strive to create an environment with fewer members, ensuring that our clients can enjoy a quality workout without feeling overcrowded. While "prime time" tends to be the busiest for any gym, we do offer enough equipment to accommodate more than double our current membership base. Positive experience: I’ve been going to this gym for a few years , place was clean, machines working, plates racked but the past few months it’s been messed up, plates not racked machines not working and the hour for the weekends kinda suck with closing at 10 on Friday 8 on Saturday 7 on Sunday . The staff is still friendly but really considering another gym.

Our staff performs regular checks every 30 minutes, and we make announcements to remind members to re-rack their weights. However, if you ever notice anything out of order, please don't hesitate to bring it to the attention of our friendly staff, who are always ready to address any concerns. We are also aware of the one machine that is currently down. We prioritize addressing any issues with our equipment by reporting them immediately to our in-house maintenance team to minimize downtime. Unfortunately, as with any gym that has over 200+ machines in use daily, occasional breakdowns are inevitable, but we strive to show our members that we are on top of repairs right away. Regarding our hours of operation, we offer some of the longest hours in the area, which are based on member check-in patterns. Positive experience: It's nice the equipment, everything was nice and the classes but the women with with no sneakers doing yoga and lifting weights was concerning.

Positive experience: Really not that many amenities to be considered a luxury gym. Every time I used the women's restroom, I couldn't even dry my hands easily because there were no paper towels and the soap dispenser was always broken. The floor in the room where classes are held always had dirt and hair all over it. Needed to be cleaned more regularly. The handicap bathroom was also always locked from the inside, limiting use. When I cancelled about a month ago, the workers and manager at the desk made me feel very uncomfortable as a young woman. Glad I am no longer a member.

Negative experience: This gym is a scam. My son paid the membership fee then he went to college and asked to cancel it. My whole family also moved out of New York for almost a year. I just found out they are still charging my credit card though it should have been cancelled many months ago. I just called and was told to come to NY to talk to them. I asked why then the call was hung up with “I am done with you”. Called again and nobody answered. Be ware if you want to sign the membership here. Read other reviews and realize that I am not the first one feel that it is impossible to cancel the membership and encounter the rude staffs here. Just want you all know that the good reviews could be from those rude staffs or owners. Stay away from this gym if you can.
Hi Liya, We are far from a “scam”. In fact, we are very big on our local community. This is why we offer an amazing incentive to our students. In addition, We also freeze any student membership for free. After speaking to our staff member. He mentioned to you that if you’re not physically able to into the club, we can have our operations manager reach out to you tomorrow to help you close out your account and rectify the issue , since today is Sunday 30 minutes before we close. You were continuing to threaten to “sue” if we couldn't fix it at that moment for you. We make the cancellation process as simple/convenient as possible by explaining everything upfront before any member joins so theres no confusions if/when someone inquiries to cancels. All of the good reviews are from our members that enjoy our club. Just like them you could have a positive out look on us if you would give us a change to make things right for you like our staff member was trying to assist you with instead of running to google to bash us.
Fantastic experience: The best gym, the best staff, and just an overall great experience. The front is always friendly and the gym is consistently clean. Weights are never out of order and people respect each others space here. Plus it looks like a luxury gym for a decent monthly price. 10/10 !

Fantastic experience: Fire gym. Lady at the front was super nice she let me charge my AirPods at her desk. Feel comfortable at this gym I have seen people just leave thier keys and wallet behind no one steals here.

Fantastic experience: This gym is great. Clean, organize and well managed. People are always respectful of the equipment and the gym, they put the weights away when they’re finished with them and you don’t have the slob crowd that you find at most of the fitness clubs.

Negative experience: The manager is rude and not personable, the young girl at the front desk could never be bothered to look up from her phone other than to shoot you a dirty look. The soap dispensers were spray bottles because they took them off the walls in the bathroom. The showers were never properly cleaned based on the soap residue on the floors. They take months to fix broken machines and only have one of each. The staff makes it almost impossible to cancel your membership and then they continue to charge you for months after you’ve cancelled. They also charge their annual fee more than once a year.

Negative experience: BEWARE!!! Poor Costumer service. I was a loyal member for over two years. But today I canceled my membership. The way they treat their members is unacceptable and it stems from the angry lady at the front desk. She’s always angry and moody towards me and other members. I wouldn’t recommend this gym.

Push Fitness Club policy allows college students to freeze at no charge while they are away to school. When you return for break/summer we reinstate your membership. You were demanding her to allow you in for free, and wanting to continue to stay on freeze. She was frustrated as she offered you many options, which even allowed you to pay for a discounted day pass. We are family owned business , and truly care about our college students that live in the local community. That being said, we have expenses to pay and wouldn't be fair to all of our other paying members. Hopefully, you realize we were trying to work with you and would love to earn your business back.

Negative experience: The gym with the worst experience so far gave me a trial period of 3 days, and if I didn't want to join for 3 days, I could cancel. When I told them on the second day that I couldn't work out there, they told me that it didn't matter, as long as it didn't exceed 3 days. But it's been a year! Still getting bills? Bad, bad, bad gym!! Everyone be careful.!!
Negative experience: STAY AWAY!!! They still haven't cancelled my membership despite telling me they would and "everything was taken care off" These people are sleaze bags reminds me of a untrustworthy used car salesman. They will lock you into a year contract without telling you aswell, had many friends screwed over. Better Lawyer up Matthew! You won't keep getting away with this. Whats so hard with having some morals where you actually don't con and sleaze people??
Dear Crypto Nomad, Unfortunately, with a fake account we are unable to assist you or reach out to you regarding your membership. Our cancellation policy is very seamless, it requires you to come in and complete a cancellation form to send to our billing company. The form is your proof to show you did the proper procedures in order to cancel. Based off your comments, the cancellation process wasn't completed correctly. In fact, the review seems directed more of a harassment to Matthew as you're telling him to "Lawyer up". We would be more than happy to assist you if you're our actual member. We recommend coming in or speaking directly to Matthew to resolve this matter.
Negative experience: Gym pretty small. However lot's of equipment makes up for it. They need to start enforcing a women's dress code here lot's of distractions when working out from the college aged girls. I come here to work out not to see girls repping hot-pink yoga shorts and bending over every few seconds. Get's a bit hot aswell, probably because of the windows facing the sun though. Otherwise gym is ehh.
Positive experience: Recently terminated my membership. Not because I wanted to, but because I had to (relocation). I tried out two other gyms before push last year. This was the only gym I stuck with. Loved the vibes and energy of the gym no matter what time of day I went. Whoever was in charge of the tunes, you had your days. Some days hit. Other days… could’ve been better but that’s ok. Staff is great. Cleanliness I will say is hit or miss sometimes. There were days I went to the women’s bathroom and there were bottles and paper towels everywhere. I will put that more on the members, not the staff. I will say, there’s only one bad comment I got about push. There are restrictions on what guys can wear posted in the gym bathrooms. However, there were times I went and there were girls showing a lot more than that should be seen outside the bedroom. Made me uncomfortable and I wasn’t even trying to look. If you’re gonna have the dress codes for the dudes, you gotta have the dress codes for the ladies ♀️

Fantastic experience: Definitely one of the nicest gyms I have been a member of. Friendly staff, place is constantly being cleaned and has all the equipment I need. Has a sauna that is always super hot, which is definitely a nice bonus. Just a great gym for a great price and would recommend it to all.

Negative experience: They never Cancel Your membership. They keep Charging your card, When My wife wrote a review at google, MATT looked her ph # up online and threatened to ruin Her business and write bad reviews if she didnt delete the review from Google.(even though he never used her business services) Yhey are still charging our card despite us changing our card number. I dont know how they are accessing it. Chase bank Has put them on Blacklist. BE CAREFUL!

Similarly, the situation with your wife’s training program seems to have been misconstrued. We understand life can be unpredictable and are always prepared to help find solutions. Our manager, Matt, was looking forward to discussing possible solutions with your wife, but unfortunately, a chargeback request was initiated before this conversation could take place. Please note that this chargeback includes services that were actually rendered. Regarding Matt’s comment, it appears to have been misconstrued. Matt intended to empathize with your wife, Supreet, as a fellow business owner and stress the importance of seeking resolution through direct communication rather than pursuing chargebacks. We assure you that Matt would have no interest in “ruining” your business. The charges in question were from 2021, stemming from the contract signed by both you and your wife, a process we carefully explain upon membership initiation. We would sincerely appreciate the opportunity to address these issues personally with you or your wife at the club so that we can reach a resolution together.

Positive experience: Been a member for few years. Friendly staff. Generally clean. They always keep the equipment in good condition. Gets crowded often, even early mornings. Biggest complaint for years is the temperature of the gym. Hot and humid in the summer and freezing in the winter. We all complain about it to each other or the staff, but the owner obviously wants to save money on electricity or heating. Hoping they move the temp to 70 degrees like most other gyms. 74 and humid is just uncomfortable for a workout.
Fantastic experience: Excellent cleanliness 90% time there’s an active worker taking care of the gym. Equipment new and not rusty. GM Matt very professional and greats you w a smile. Only complaint as with most gyms prime time CAN (not always) be packed at 5 o’clock hour but it’s NY not to much you can do about that everyone’s chill out though can pretty much work around it

Negative experience: Cancelled 3 months ago and they are still charging credit card. Have tried calling and going there in person where they tell me they cancelled, but still continue to charge every month.

Hey Nicole, we apologize if you feel is way. Here at Push Fitness Club we consider ourselves a boutique fitness club. We make our cancelation policy extremely simply and seamless for our members compared to other big box gyms. In order to cancel, you have to physically have come in to our club to close out your account with one of our membership advisors. If you're not in the area, you may send a certified letter then one of our membership advisor will reach out to you regarding your account. We also explain this when you join. We like our members to feel comfortable and have all the information before joining. After looking into your account, we noticed you didn't do ether, therefore your membership wasn't cancelled. Please contact the club so we can resolve this issue for you.

After I called and cancelled, they continued to charge my credit card repeatedly. When I called them again, they said I had to come in person to cancel which was never told to me in the first place. They will say anything to get your money! Their customer service is terrible!
Hey Vandana, we apologize that you feel this way towards our establishment. For anyone reading this review. We have month to month memberships, and 12 month memberships as an incentive to save money monthly. After reviewing your account we noticed you were in a 12 month commitment. Before you join, you are required to sign for each part of the contract to insure you understand what you're signing up for. Keep in mind, this also gets emailed to you the moment you finish signing. We would never want any of our customers to feel like we are "saying anything to get your money". The reason you were "continuing to get billed from us" was from not properly coming in or sending us letter to close out your account. Another reason your cancellation was delayed, was due to fraudulent chargebacks you were doing towards us. We recommend starting with a month to month membership for anyone that isn't certain about staying with us for the full year.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful, clean gym for a great price. I never thought I needed a trainer but Matt has pushed me to workout harder than I ever have and i've never felt better. So happy I joined this gym.

Negative experience: Canceled my membership back in March '22 when I moved, spoke with Matt, sat down and signed forms etc. The typical gym cancellation experience these days. I see today I have been getting charged for the past 9 months after I canceled. You see where this is going. When I called to request a refund, the sales manager told me they did not have the cancellation document on file. Ok, that's fine mistakes happen. I told him who I spoke with at the time of cancellation, which was Matt the GM. I hear the GM in the background as I'm speaking with the sales manager on the phone. I was told a refund was impossible since the documentation is not on file, and it was "my issue to deal with". Only the GM would be able to do anything about it. When I requested to speak with the GM (who I heard in the background), the sales manager said he wasn't there and I should come in to speak to him (the sales manager, not the GM) personally. Unbelievably unprofessional and it sounded like a weird invitation to meet this guy outside in the parking lot. Steer clear of this place. Nice gym equipment but wow... ..................................................................... *Update after club's response* The information I provided in my review was and remains accurate. I was told Matt the GM was not there, not that he was unavailable. I said I heard him in the background, and the response was "he's not here". And the sales manager was combative, no question. It's very convenient for Push that I have no recourse in this situation. I requested a call back from Matt after he spoke with the billing company on Thursday 12/8. Still have not heard from him after calling the gym Friday 12/9 and leaving a message with the manager on duty. This is now the 6th business day with no solution presented to me other than "maybe we can do you a favor and work with you to credit a couple months". Here I read from the gym's response that the billing company has no record of my cancellation...yes obviously guys that's the issue. I came in to cancel, followed your protocol, signed your ipad, yet still I have been charged for 9 months. It is on Push now to follow through and remedy this situation. The issues with the billing company are not my problem. Of course it would be nice if the automated system worked as intended but unfortunately it clearly did not. I wonder if my account is even cancelled yet? Again, and I can't stress this enough for the people reading this. Don't join here. Nice gym, terrible management. If you think this type of thing won't happen to you, think again. Check BBB reviews and complaints, I am not alone. I am not the type to post google reviews and complaints but this place and its management are something else.
Hi Dustin, Thank you so much for your review. We appreciate you bringing out opportunity points that we can address within our cancellation process. Within a certain point in our cancellation process, after you've met with a member our team in person, you should have signed a cancellation form which is then sent to our third party billing company and yourself for both parties' records. Upon investigation, our billing company does not have any records of cancellation and we were informed that you could not present this form either. This process is to guarantee the integrity of our operations and policies. Although the documentation for cancellation could not be presented upon request, we were still willing to work with you to credit a portion of your membership that you felt you shouldn't be charged for, just as a courtesy. We simply do not have any records signed by yourself that you had in fact cancelled your membership. In regards to your claims of the GM not "being there" when you requested to speak to him, you were informed that he was not available. The GM was simply handling another situation at the time -- which is why Matt called you back within 10 minutes of your ended call with another associate. We apologize that you felt that this was directed towards you, but we assure you that this wasn't the case. Furthermore, when the sales invited you over to the gym in person -- he was only following protocol and he wanted to show you that there were no documentation for your cancellation. He also wanted to further resolve your cancellation issue professionally. We're unsure how this came about to you as if someone wanted to meet you at a parking lot -- however, it's frankly absurd that any of our staff members would want to fight you over a monthly gym subscription. We truly are sorry that you've experienced this situation over your 3 year membership with us. And we really want to work with you to resolve this situation -- however, we simply cannot acknowledge the skewed information in this review to sway the public to put us in a bad light. Thank you for taking your time to write this review. We appreciate your time with us and we wish you the best in your fitness journey.

Fantastic experience: Push fitness is a pretty great gym to go to. Not crazy busy and plenty of space to work out at. I've yet to wait for a machine to go on and I've been pretty sporadic on the times I've went. The locker rooms are kept immaculate and the saunas work great as well. No one is on top of you and again, plenty of room to work out at your own pace without feeling crowded

Fantastic experience: Been going for 2 years now I can share that push is a clean and very good environment from my experience also i had lost my gold chain one night and the manager Matt had found and safely returned it too me. Also ask for Hubie and Noel they are great personal trainers to get started in your fitness path
Positive experience: Music blasted over PA system way too loud today. Most members have airpods/ headphones with their own preferred tunes, so why not just eliminate the music on the PA system?

Fantastic experience: Excellent gym, very modern and clean. That said, it is the customer service that is Push's biggest strength [no pun intended]. Matt goes above and beyond for his clients, even far after they finish any personal training with him. For anyone looking for a new gym, Push in Melville is well worth it!
Fantastic experience: I feel like there should be general standards for gyms - that it’s clean, well equipped and has helpful staff. Unfortunately 99% of gyms don’t have those basic standards. But Push goes above and beyond with those standards — the people that work there care about where they work. TLDR: Clean, well equipped and the people that work there care for you and the facility. Oh and great deals! If you want personal training it’s highly effective and they’ll always work with whatever your goals are!

Negative experience: This is gym is a setup for credit card Identity fraud. Please be careful sharing your credit card information. They have multiple companies that they use to charge yiur account. Please check your credit card statements if you are a member. You are probably being charged more than once for your membership. And of you brought a friend for trial, Matt will add them automatically to your billing. Matt will con you and you won't even realize it. Good luck if you are a member. Try getting out and you will see what I am talking about.
Negative experience: Not a gym to join for the summer. They refuse to adjust the air conditioning. (Since summer started).The room where classes are done has no fan and the temperature control is locked at 74 and often goes to 75 before the air goes on. Oppressive for a room where 8 to 15 or more people are working out in a room with no air. The front desk staff are not able to help no matter how hot it is. On days where it’s 90 plus degrees outside this is not what you want from an otherwise very nice gym with fabulous classes.
Fantastic experience: I have been into many gyms , but this one is way above expectation for this price. Its clean, sophisticated and the weights are always well organized. The stuff and trainers are professional, attentive and knowledgeable. I have been training with Matt , a young , hard working , knowledgeable, enthusiastic , personal trainer. Very reliable and motivating professional, just what I needed it to get to the next level. It is a great pleasure working with him and in this gym.

Fantastic experience: For years I was going to a local Retro Fitness, well I can say for sure that was a MASSIVE mistake. Push Fitness Club of Melville is the cleanest, friendliest and all around best gym on LI. Shout out to the great people up front, especially the general manager Matt who is always kind and fixes my problems instantly. I can say that I truly feel as if the staff and members of the gym have become my family. 10/10 best gym I’ve ever been to!
Negative experience: Simple advice. Don't join. They will be really sweet when they sign you up but not cancel your account or cancel any classes recurring charges no matter how many times you call them. If they have your credit card on file, then forget it. They will charge after months of leaving the gym. Be careful!! Matt, the manager will dissappear on you.

Fantastic experience: Having had memberships at other gyms in the area I can say that Push is the best gym in terms of quality and number of machines, staff responsiveness, cleanliness and value. The members respect each others space and everyone is friendly. Had my first training session with Matt which started out with a conversation about my goals. He definitely tailored the session to meet those goals and motivated me to do those extra reps. I highly recommend Push!

Fantastic experience: I love this place, professional, friendly, clean, modern, positive atmosphere, member quality, and you absolutely cant beat the price for what they offer! The staff are great, locker rooms and gym area are always clean and the gym is well kept.. it can get a little busy during peak after work hrs, but other then that, the gym is never overcrowded, and even still, members are always polite and courteous!!

The manager Matt went over the top to help my friends and myself out with our memberships. I would have to say the environment of the gym is my favorite part. Everyone here re-racks their weights and is so nice. Its really that perfect balance of people in the gym but not over crowded. Fantastic experience: Push Fitness Melville is a GEM. To have all of the accommodations this gym has to offer for such a low price is a steal. From the free classes, the gorgeous bathrooms, the brand new saunas, state of the art equipment, and A-M-A-Z-I-N-G staff, why WOULDN'T you join this club! I believe that the gym should be a place where you could completely dissociate yourself from your out side life. Something about the high ceilings, really cool lighting fixtures, and natural light that comes in from the windows puts me in my zone. If your looking for a place to make gains, that’s not overwhelmingly packed with people all the time, that has spray bottles and paper towels everywhere to wipe down your equipment, and has staff that want to help you become the best athlete you could be, go PUSH!

Fantastic experience: Positive: Professionalism , Quality I only go to gyms due to convenience however, Push Fitness wowed me from the beginning. The equipment is all state of the art, the staff is really friendly and everything is so clean. 100% would recommend to anyone!
Fantastic experience: It's like having my own gym in a way. I'm usually a night goer and this place is almost never packed. The maintenance on the equipments are top notch and the weights are always racked. Staff are courteous and friendly. No real complaints. Been going there since it first opened and still going.

I always see the staff checking around the gym to see if people are wearing their masks, checking for weights and making sure everything is clean! Fantastic experience: This gym is AMAZING so I'll just start here: I'm visiting for a short time and I have traveled to a lot of areas this is by far the best!! Professional front desk, knowledge trainers Steve & Matt worked me out on my last day in town!!! Book a stretching session with Chris OMG!! I woke up a new person!!! Other positives - clean, not cluttered up, state of the art machines, all walks all shapes should be comfortable here!! Turf area for HIIT, group fitness! I can go on & on! I'd definitely be a member if I lived here!!! Invest in your Health no excuses
