Fantastic experience: I came to Black Bear with years of positive crossfitting experience and wasn’t sure what to expect when I had to switch gyms. It became clear right away that the workouts were challenging and scaled well. The coaches are all approachable and want to see you succeed and the members are very supportive, the culture here is special and it’s what makes this gym stand out!

Fantastic experience: I've been part of the Black Bear Athletics family for a while now, and it's an amazing gym for both beginners and seasoned athletes. The gym is impeccably clean, extremely spacious, and is equipped with high end Rogue equipment. What truly sets this place apart though, are the coaches – shoutout to Coach Mike, Jared, and Sammy – their expertise and guidance have helped me push my limits and achieve goals I never thought possible. The gym has a friendly atmosphere fostered by the amazing members. If you're looking for a supportive community to crush your fitness goals, look no further than Black Bear Athletics!

Fantastic experience: My experience at Crossfit Cobalt has been extremely rewarding. I began when they had first opened the gym and both owners were professional, organized, and knowledgeable right from the start. The gym has top notch equipment and an extremely large space. It is a friendly yet competitive environment that I believe suits every member's needs. The owners Beth and David as well as the rest of the coaches are extremely helpful and full of insight, with lots of experience. They care about each and every one of their members, and are 100% dedicated. I would highly recommend joining Crossfit Cobalt.

Fantastic experience: CrossFit Cobalt is a new crossfit that opened up in January. They have a very experienced coach/owner who is willing to take the time to explain and help members with movements. They have a huge space that can be manipulated into many different ways to accompany the members to complete workouts. Beth Seder is a wealth of knowledge that will be able to push you to the next level. Its a fun atmosphere that is welcoming and being open only 3 months Cobalt has the top gear that other crossfit's don't have (Stones, Yokes, Ropes).

Fantastic experience: Hi crossfitters. Love the dedication of all the athletes. I have a heavy bag and some gently used boxing equipment to unload for cheap message me and keep sweating.

Fantastic experience: Joining Crossfit Cobalt has been one of the best decisions I've made. I've spent my time since high school bouncing from gym to gym, and Cobalt has been the only place that has motivated me to come back for more. Good stuff.

Fantastic experience: I have been crossfitting for almost 4 years. When I started there were only about 4 boxes on Long Island. I’ve watched boxes pop up all over the island, but none have compared to the quality of Crossfit Cobalt. The owners are great coaches and great people. Beth is a Physical Therapist and is so helpful and knowledgeable with aches, pains, technique and modifications. Dave has his degree in Exercise Science and Kinesiology and his knowledge of the human body and its mechanics always amazes me. The gym is clean and has a great kid’s room. They also offer so much to their members like specialty classes and open gym at no extra cost. From my experience going to other boxes, if you are looking to try crossfit or looking to change boxes I’d highly recommend dropping into Cobalt.

Fantastic experience: I came once as a visitor thanks to my hair stylist and was absolutely amazed. The coach is personable and funny. He made the class interesting and fun. I will be back!

Fantastic experience: Visiting from out of town and dropped in for a class. Both the coach and the athletes were extremely friendly and welcoming! The gym was a nice size and had some solid equipment. Beth helped me with my technique a bit and i would 100% recommend this to anybody living in the area!

Cobalt is a great place to start if you are new to crossfit or even exercise in general, as well as, a place to become a member of if you are already an elite athlete. Fantastic experience: I've been to a number of gyms but Crossfit Cobalt has been my home since the day I stepped through the door for 3 years ago. The staff is super helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and always willing to work with you to make sure your accomplish your fitness goals!
