Staff is always cleaning. Equipment is nice and maintained. I just wish we could knock down a few wall and make it a bit bigger.

Fantastic experience: My wife and I visited from Tampa, FL, where we are Powerhouse members at the Tampa location. Upon informing the staff that we belong to a different PH location, they were incredibly courteous and let us workout for a very minimal fee. This was the smallest PH location I've been to but it was filled with quality equipment. Like every PH I've been to, this location was incredibly clean. I highly suggest this spot if you are in Aurora!

Fantastic experience: I really enjoy this gym. The patrons are hardworking and dedicated, creating a motivating atmosphere for my workouts. My personal trainer is very professional, and the staff maintain a very clean facility!

Negative experience: Small gym but has great equipment. I noticed that the gym could improve its cleanliness, particularly regarding the ceiling and fans, which had visible debris. There is also a horrible smell that prevents me from enjoying my workout. Hope Powerhouse Gym can address these issues and improve their cleanliness and air quality to be more pleasant environment for everyone.

Positive experience: Good gym, nice equipment and good staff for a fair price. They have those trend to turn the music up way too loud in the afternoons, enough that it overpowers my headphones.

Negative experience: Sorry but I have to leave 1 star for you guys ! You key fobs won’t work they malfunction , I come to GYM to work out and the fob is not opening the door , it’s not first time !

Fantastic experience: Nice gym. I have gone to 3 other gyms and none of them hold a candle to this one. From the personnel that work there to the trainers…they are all awesome and informative. I have had a trainer that introduced me to this gym and I am so glad he did. Nice equipment that is well taken care of.

Positive experience: It's a good gym with nothing fancy like useless group classes. I did not give 5 stars because while some would think the small size is a good thing, it really starts to feel crowded with only 10 people inside. And with only one squat rack, prepare to wait on leg day.

Fantastic experience: Favorite gym around town. Small and quiet equipped with the best machinery. All of the greatest tools for leg day at your disposal. Staff is great. Memberships are reasonably priced. You can add your favorite songs to the member playlist which is great.

Positive experience: Decent gym with solid equipment. Just too small for me, not enough weights or benches for everyone. Gets crowded fast because of how small it is. Also not a fan of the contracts they make you sign so you’re trapped even if you don’t like it. Plus side is you have access to it 24/7 which is great.

Fantastic experience: I won't go back to any other gym! I initially felt intimated with my first couple workouts here as I am beginner/intermediate but quickly fell in love with this place and the people (both staff and members). Even though they don't have extra amenities, such as pool, sauna, and steam room, they make up for it with the amount of equipment and the fact I almost never have to wait to use them! They are more expensive (plenty of plan options) than my older commercial gym but you can tell they care here and I'm happy to give my money to a local gym instead.

Fantastic experience: Great gym for lifting weights. Dumbells all the way up to 175 for those who lift heavy. It has everything you need here. Excellent for bodybuilding or just a good workout.

Positive experience: This place is great! One of the cleanest gyms I've ever been inside, and very well organized. Only complaints are not enough squat racks and no 35# women's bars

Fantastic experience: I have been coming back here for some time and beyond the great equipment selection and clean facility the front desk staff is the absolute best. You feel much more than just another customer here. I have also noticed that due to the ambiance that this gym creates I am much more willing to push harder in my workouts and really focus on my strength gains. Also the gym music is actually music I would listen to while training.

Fantastic experience: that's the place to go if you're more serious athlete and don't really like box gyms. most of the fellow gym goers are pretty serious about lifting weights. if you're new to this type of activity - don't be afraid or shy, as I think you can learn a lot and much faster from the people around. get some!

Fantastic experience: Recently moved to Aurora and was looking for a non- chain gym that worked with my schedule. When I found Powerhouse, I was thrilled. Even though the footprint is smaller than most gyms, there is a ton of equipment. At times it can get fairly busy, but I've never had any issues with waiting too long to use any equipment. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They have a limited selection of supplements, energy drinks and snacks that come in really handy when you're on the go.

Fantastic experience: Gym is very hygienic with many sanitizer bottles with wiping clothes available for guests. Equipment is very clean and in new condition. As a temporary visitor to Power House, I found everything I utilized in my regular gym in Florida. My workout was between 11 am and 12:30 noon. I never waited for any of the equipment. Also, the gym has sufficient mirrors to check your form, and numerous TVs in the workout area. To summarize, this is a well equipped and quiet gym, that allow one to get a really good workout.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love this gym. I am training for a fitness competition and I needed a place to focus and this is the perfect atmosphere. I would say its probably not a beginner friendly place unless you work with one of the trainers. It seems more geared toward those who are training for some sort of competition whether that be powerlifting or bodybuilding. I really enjoy gyms that have niched down like this because there is a different type of goal oriented vibe here. There are so many equipment quirks that your average gym goer may not know of and that are not in the typical commercial gym. With that in mind, coming from commercial gym for years, seeing the equipment that this place has to offer it has been absolutely refreshing. I have been able to hit so many different muscles that would have been challenging in a commercial gym. From the belt squat all the way down to the hand holds for the pully machines or the small platforms on the leg press to hit each muscle group. My only feedback is that when it is busier it gets pretty tight but everyone so far has been respectful/mindful of space. The only gym that is truly 24 hours these days. This has been a relief for my early morning fasted cardio and for the times that I just want to workout with little to no one else around. It truly is peaceful. Facilities have always been clean. I appreciate how they have spray bottle for everyone to use and they wash their cleaning clothes. It reduces the impact on the environment and I am always down for gyms that are more mindful. You are also never running out of cleaning wipes which is great. I have not tried the smoothie/protein bar yet only because I am on prep but I am so excited for the day that I can. Looks like they have an expansive variety Huge shout out to Marquise for being a real one and making me feel apart of the community there!

Fantastic experience: By far the best gym in Aurora. What they lack in amenities (sauna, etc.), they make up for in it rarely being busy and good quality equipment. It's hard to find a gym with a pendulum squat, belt squat, vertical leg press and Prime Smart Strength machines. The staff and community is great, and what makes it even better is that it is open 24/7.

Positive experience: I paid a lot of money to discover that I’m just not the right fit for this gym. I’m a beginner stepping into intermediate. A lot of advanced lifters here, and I feel very in the way. I accidentally jumped on a machine a guy walked away from, not realizing he was still working, and his response is ‘Gtf outta here,” not “hey man I was still working here.” At my level, I can go somewhere with more machines and less regulars willing to try to push people off the machine they want. Also, not much in the way of glutes here that isn’t free weights, and no room to do barbell hip thrusts. I had to finish my workout at home. Enjoy my money this month, guys, it won’t happen again.

I was greeted by a friendly staff who was extremely helpful with all my questions. The gym and locker rooms were very clean and organized. I will definitely be signing up for a membership.

Fantastic experience: Been to many many Gyms in my life. Powerhouse I by far one of the best. Most of the guys in there are huge and don't mess around. I love that there are not alot of kids on phones. Powerhouse has something for everyone, but it caters towards us big guys.

Fantastic experience: I stopped in for a lift while on vacation from Idaho. This place is phenomenal! The staff is incredibly kind and sweet, the members there are no nonsense and there achieving their goals! The gym was spotless, weights racked, all equipment clean and in killer shape! Top of the line equipment and a dense selection! If you're in the area, please stop in and check this place out!!!

Fantastic experience: So at the time of this posting my wife and I are fairly new to Powerhouse (maybe a month give or take) and unfortunately we're not going to be here too much longer than a year (if that) anyhow. That has absolutely nothing to do with the Powerhouse gym though. We're both simply landlords (among other things) and have several properties in and around Colorado/overseas. We just came to the Aurora area to temporarily move into one of our rentals and oversee/implement quite a bit of work and updates that were needed there, along with a few minor repairs with another one across the street, while also putting together a pretty big house build from scratch out on 50 acres we have about an hour away. So that's about to break ground in the next month and when it becomes turnkey is when we'll have to be on our way. Anyhow, I had explained all of this to them up front when coming in to inquire and sign up, and if there is a penalty fee for us breaking our contract when we have to go.....we're fine with that, but obviously hope the cancellation goes smooth no different than anywhere else. As for the gym itself......well, I've been to a lot of differing ones around the country/world, and I am quite enjoying my time here. For the most part I keep to myself and do my own thing, yet everyone seems very friendly. Of course there is some occasional grunting here or there or not at all (myself included) the same as you would find at practically all the other gyms but it's not obnoxious in the least and just has to do with someone pushing themselves on the last 1, 2, or 3 reps. I am amazed at how well the place is maintained and kept clean as well. Immaculate. As some others have mentioned in the reviews here, I to have noticed people put their weights back also and wipe equipment after use. Appreciated. Pretty much has everything I need for chest, back, legs, arms, or cardio the same if not better as I would find at some of the bigger box gyms. Oh, and the view out the windows while working out.....can't beat that. Not that I have used it because I don't go late either, but they are also 24/7 access. No matter the gym, I do look for that up front over others and just prefer having the option if I ever wanted it. Yes, the gym is smaller, and I am finding that I prefer that to. I have never found it too crowded and even at the bigger gyms wherever.....you might have to wait a minute while finding something else to work out on in the meantime. No biggie. If anything, everyone starts from somewhere at the end of the day and yeah.....I would like to see them grow, maybe purchase one of the neighboring businesses if they can, but like anything else it all takes time. I wouldn't want them to grow too much however as a single unit besides possibly as a franchise or being in different locations. That kind of growth. I like the smaller feel. All in all, if I was staying in the area I would gladly remain a member, support local, and don't mind paying a little extra for it. If anything.....hopefully I'll see you all eventually around the smaller town. In the meantime, thank you. 5 stars all around.

Negative experience: Staff at this gym advises members that they can wear their mask only on their chin if they prefer. I would not go here if you care about avoiding Covid 19.

Fantastic experience: This place has been so awesome. Can't believe that there is a gym with no hidden fees. They said $150 for 3 months and my card was charged $150. No startup fees, no gym maintenance fees very straightforward. Gym is super nice as well, staff is great couldn't ask for more.

Fantastic experience: I had to focus on saving my own life before changing my life because I didn't know how to do either successfully. So, I had to have help. I had to learn from those who knew how to live sober. This place is a huge success in my life. May not mean much to anyone else but me, yet that's precisely who it's supposed to matter to. I don't wear Rose colored glasses today, I'd rather see life the way it truly is, good or bad. I know from my own life, families rarely ever see and/or meet the addict "where" the addict is actually "using". I did state "rarely". The same, I know better than to believe this is a good fit for everyone. I'm just grateful for the whole of my journey  (no, it's not over) before and after treatment there, which I affectionately call them “THE BEST”. Highly Recommended!!!

Positive experience: Good attention to mask and cleaning details, so far. There are some who come in and immediately take off their masks to work out, and one guy today just didn't even bother to pretend to wear one, but overall, still a great place for a workout. They have apparently decided to not continue using small cloth towels and spray for members to clean machines and weights after use, and instead are using paper towels. Must be an expense thing. I'd like that to be different, but I get that we're all poorer these days. Nice folks, as always, and just happy to be able to get back to the gym.

Fantastic experience: Powerhouse is the cleanest gym I’ve ever been to and all it’s equipment is always working properly, not broken. Also the vibe of the gym is not like most gyms. All the people/athletes training at powerhouse are training hard, which gives a motivating vibe.

Numerous options of leverage lifting equipment, free weights and the latest machines as well as huge variety of grip attachments for cable machines. Staff is friendly and genuinely care about maintaining a clean, functioning facility(machines are not always out of order like some other gyms). If you are looking for a gym whose members are focused on getting their work in without any distractions, this is the place for you!
