Fantastic experience: I wish I could give this gym and its general manager Caleb more than 5 stars. He went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of! Have never been to a gym with such great customer serves! Plus holy smokes soooooo many machines I never have to wait for anything.

Positive experience: One of the best gyms but that one dude thats screaming every night is whats bringing this review down 2 stars. Best staff you could ever ask for. manager apparently claims there is no rule against loud screaming, apparently thats fine for 2 hours+ a day but when other people scream during prs if the manager is there thats a nono. Lol
Hello iaminqa, while we try not to be over cumbersome with rules and regulations, we do want to make sure we have an enjoyable and inviting environment for ALL of our members. I honestly can’t remember the last time management has had to speak to anyone in regard to being loud whether it was during a PR or during normal exercises. Fantastic experience: Just got a membership, and I’m very impressed not only by the cleanliness of the facility and quality equipment, but also the customer service from the employee who helped me make a decision! Never have I had a more welcoming experience at a gym.
Negative experience: Tried to use a guest pass because last time I was a member at this gym it was a different brand/company and 5 years ago. I just wanted to use a pass to check it out since it’s a new name and they wouldn’t let me. Lost a paying customer, just wanted to check it out since it’s a completely new company from 5 years ago…. understand it’s for first time guests but that was prior to the change in company. Rough sales tactic guys.
Negative experience: Not a fan of bad reviews but did a FREE trial except they wanted $60 drop-in fee for kids club. My family just wants to try this place out. The manager was than uncooperative about any exceptions. Bummer we were going to sign up. Now we are off to Vasa.
Hello Billy, I am very sorry you had less than an amazing experience when you came in. We strive to make it a positive atmosphere for both members and guests. Unfortunately we do have to charge for child care due to staffing and giving members with paid services priority for check ins to ensure we have availability for them to drop off during their workout. We did offer discounted rates for the day for your children to check in to try and ease the burden but I understand if you were / are not interested as we know everyone has different situations. Thank you for giving us a shot and if anything changes in the future please let us know!
Fantastic experience: In over 20 years in different gyms over the US this is one of the best I’ve found. Great equipment, duplicate machines so you’re not waiting, plenty of plates for the whole floor. Everyone is very friendly welcoming, but not over the top. I see a few reviews talking about it being too hot in the gym. Temps are perfect, I think those that are complaining should just stay home and get an elliptical, then you can control the thermostat.
Fantastic experience: The front desk team is phenomenal. The manager (Calvin) is very nice and very knowledgeable. Top of the line customer service. Great place to work out.
Fantastic experience: I usually workout at home because I feel intimidated at A Gym. But, I started a program that requires gym equipment, and The Zone Is Perfect, has everything I need, plus I like how big it is and the extra rooms to workout. The staff is really helpful and if you are first time goer, Don't hesitate to ask for Help.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming to this gym for sometime now and have noticed a lot of change in staff but by far my favorite worker is Eric D. He is always in a wonderful mood and is a great hype man to get my workout started.

Fantastic experience: Been coming here for the past year and a half and it’s the best gym I’ve been to so far. Eric Dahl exceeded excellent customer service that I’ve hadn’t seen at any gym other than here. Very respectful, passionate about fitness, and cares about guest having a pleasant experience here at zone. I can’t see myself going to another gym anytime soon.

Fantastic experience: I came to this facility with my brother the other day. The facility was very clean and an amazing selection of new equipment to use. Eric showed us around the facility and he was amazing to work with. He was very easygoing and super polite. Overall it was a 10/10 experience!

I had the pleasure of talking with Eric, he gave me a tour around the facility and was super polite and easy to talk to. The facility was is fantastic, it has everything you need, and it was kept very clean. Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming here for a while and absolutely love this gym. The employees and customer service are off the charts, especially the front desk man Eric. He always greets me by first name and treats me like a friend. I recommend this gym to anyone looking for a new spot.

Fantastic experience: Been going here for 3 years. Best gym in area hands down. Even the people are great. I lost credit cards, expensive workout gloves, locks, and even left my phone and always gotten everything back. I go to other gyms and my stuff always gets stolen. I don’t have to worry about that here. Love this place.
Fantastic experience: Loved going to this gym but unfortunately I moved to the Golden area. I’ve been trying to cancel for over 6 months. I’m still being charged, now I’m going to escalate this to my bank and I’ve provided proof of my cancellation to them. It’s been a huge headache and no one is resolving the issue there. Do not go here! Just wanted to update that Caleb the manager was great in handling my issue! I’d recommend always following up but i recommend these facilities! The sauna was the big highlight too!

Positive experience: So far it been alright...until today. Weekday hours say 4am-11pm. The gym was not.open at 4am. And I would say theres about 10 cars waiting for someone to open the place up. Now it's past 5am and gym is still not open. If there is something wrong, hit the folks that come to exercise with an email blast saying there will be a delay in opening. ......someone came and opened the gym about 20 minutes after I did this review.

Positive experience: Good clean gym
Negative experience: Just became a member of this gym. Prices are absolutely ridiculously high and they keep charging fees and whatever they wish using your card without even notifying you. I’m also not impressed that they don’t even recycle. Please add a recycling container people. We are hoping they stop processing charges otherwise I’ll have to dispute them from my bank account. Be aware that this gym is expensive and they closed early in the weekends.
Fantastic experience: Freakin love this gym. Not crowded even at peak hours, has everything you could ever need. So glad I joined. Came over from vasa and I’m extremely happy
Negative experience: Ok gym but feels like a converted office max which I assume is what it is. No amenities, pool, or hot tubs…just a barebones gym. When my card got hacked and the auto payment got rejected they charged me an extra $20 and were totally unsympathetic that it was not in my control. Very corporate, wouldn’t recommend unless this is the only location that’s convenient for you.

Negative experience: Do not join this gym! It is impossible to cancel a month to month membership. I moved out of state in August but I am still being charged for this membership. I called several times finally spoke to the manager who says he can not cancel the membership I have to speak to Peak Payments. I uploaded documents showing proof of my move however they are still charging me and want payment for unused dues in order to cancel. There are plenty of other good gyms around that treat customers fair.
Fantastic experience: Caleb was a huge help and made signing up super easy! Club is very clean with lots of equipment and always has a good music selection for whenever I forget my own headphones.

Fantastic experience: it was Tru_fit before. i used to workout with Tru_fit. Now its Zone. Anyways lots of equipments n plenty to workout n cardios. i luv how it changed n plenty of weights.
Fantastic experience: David Anderson is a fantastic Trainer & Boxing coach. He is a true professional at what he does. His approach is methodical and he knows what he is talking about in both weight lifting and boxing. Recommend him to everyone who is serious about their fitness goals
Negative experience: Beware of signing up at this gym!!!! I have been a member of this gym since 2016 even before it was Zone, back when when it was TruFit. Staff members at the Zone are not transparent! I am unable to escalate an issue because I can't get accurate information from staff answering the phone. The general manager, Caleb, is never available or at the gym to take my calls. According to staff members who answer phones, Caleb is the ONLY person who would be able to assist and no staff member will give out the name of a regional manager or even a corporate phone number! Staff members are unprofessional and dishonest. I recently moved so I needed to cancel my membership. Staff answering phones either didn't get messages to him or he chose not to return my calls. I asked for his email address and one of the staff members giggled on the phone and said that she can't give that information out. I did my due diligence to cancel. I called on several occasions in September to set up an appointment to fill out the form and cancel my membership but was unable to talk with him because I was told he wasn't there. I finally tried another day and he happened to answer the phone; he denied being out of the gym during the time I was told he was out. He said he's always there and that he didn't return my phone calls because he never got the messages. I was told by staff on the phone that Caleb had to be there to sign the cancellation form, but when I went into the gym on a weekday to fill out the form, he wasn't there and I was told I didn't need to have him present to do that, which is contradictory information to what I was told on the phone. I proceeded to fill out the form to cancel and I asked for a call back from Caleb to confirm it was received and processed. To this day, Caleb has never called me back. My club account is still active and they're still charging me facility charges, in advance, for the upcoming year. I have contacted the billing provider, Peak Payment, and they directed me back to the gym for resolution and threatened sending my account to collections if the facility charges weren't paid. This lack of customer service is beyond unacceptable. Beware!
Hello Michelle, I am sorry to hear that you are having difficulty with your account. We do accept written cancellations in the club and they are effective based on the date filled out in club as well as mailed in written cancellations to the Southlands club address and we make those effective based on the postmarked date (typically used by those out of state no longer able to come in club). These are currently the only (2) cancellation options we have in place. The cancel process wouldn’t have an affect on any membership terms that are remaining contracted and/or billing notice policies of 30 days. If you like I am more than happy to give you a call again tomorrow after reviewing your account or you can give the club a call tomorrow at 303-928-7666 and we will do what we can to resolve your issue. Fantastic experience: Austin Reed is a fantastic personal trainer. He listens and works hard to help you reach your goals. He is patient and extremely knowledgeable. I have learned that I am stronger than I thought I was and I always leave our sessions feeling great about what I have accomplished. I would recommend Austin to anyone of any age and any ability. The gym has all the equipment you need, is clean and very spacious.
Fantastic experience: I’ve been here for over a year this place is great! The classes they offer are amazing, the staff is genuine and very friendly, the gym is always clean, the other members are very friendly as well. Also I would just like to add they had kid care when other gyms did not (and some still don’t) which is a huge plus!! The staff with the kids are amazing! And they offer The In Body scan which other gyms don’t offer either. 10/10 highly recommend!

Negative experience: I’m very annoyed at this gym. I have been trying to cancel my membership for months and still can’t do it. I have filled out multiple cancellation forms and they keep charging me. So I have canceled my credit card just so u can stop paying. Now they are sending me emails and texts trying to make me pay. So I give this a one star because they have the worst cancellation system!

Fantastic experience: Very good gym with lots of activities and fair price
Fantastic experience: I just moved to the area and have to say I am soooooo glad to have found such an amazing gym/ home. Not knowing really anyone in the area I want to deeply thank the GM Caleb for taking the time out of his busy day to make me feel absolutely welcomed. I am not going to lie I am a bigger guy and have dealt with depression issues almost my whole life Caleb introduced me to one of his amazing trainers Chris Sueters after listening to his story and struggles then seeing where he is now gave me hope. I have now completed two sessions with Chris and with the sessions tailored to my exact needs I seriously feel my body already changing. Thank you Caleb and Chris for being the miracle I needed!!!!

Negative experience: The gym was extremely rundown. The machines we not well maintained and were literally falling apart. The restrooms/locker rooms were like a sauna, there was little to no air flow or air conditioning. As well as the water fountain did not have cold water out of it. Overall was a terrible gym experience and would not recommend to anyone, unless maybe out of convince being in walking distance to the gym.
Fantastic experience: Great place to workout! Lots of equipment so you're not fighting with others to get on a machine.
Negative experience: This is a nice gym in terms of the size and quantity of equipment, however it is the most poorly run gym I’ve ever belong to. Half of the spinning bikes are broken. I showed up this morning to do a class and the room is heated to 90° and had been that way all night long.
Fantastic experience: For $70 a month you can bring a guest, so it comes out to $35 a person. Where else can you do yoga for $35 a month?!
Fantastic experience: Great atmosphere, and tons of equipment to use! Also lots of restaurants and shops in the area which definitely make it even better!

Negative experience: I have been a member at this gym for years now and when I started it was under different management and they were amazing. Now there’s some new guy and he is horrible He sits there and doesn’t do anything he does not take care of the place. they have old equipment from god knows how long ago. The equipment never works and the stairs will go in a free fall and get you hurt. The cables will give so much resistance and that’s with no weight they are always snapping . I would not recommend this to my worst enemies. Plus they change there prices and will rip you off.
Fantastic experience: Highly recommend this gym!
Negative experience: The accounting practices here are ridiculous. They will continue to charge you after cancellation (even after charging a cancellation fee). I also had a trainer here for awhile. They lost the trainer but continued to bill me for the service that they were unable to provide me for weeks. I was eventually able to convert some of the training sessions towards my membership but the entire experience here has been awful when it comes to honest accounting practices.
Positive experience: This gym has been exactly what I was looking for, plenty of options and benches in the free weights area. I’ve never had to wait to use a piece of equipment and whenever I feel like trying a bit of cardio - lots of options and availability. The only downside is that because there are so many machines and pieces of equipment , some places can feel a bit tight.
Fantastic experience: My favorite gym I've been to, their guest policy is a little aggressive, with needing an ID to be able to workout, but I understand that because of safety and liability, will be coming here for a while.
Fantastic experience: The free weight section here is outstanding. On top of a good selection of equipment, they have multiples of almost every piece so there is very little time spent waiting on equipment. Super friendly staff as well. Nothing but good things to say about this place. 10/10.
Fantastic experience: Cleanliness of the gym is on point. The amount of free weights is more then enough. All the staff are extremely nice and helpful and keep the gym running. I’ve really enjoyed my time here at this gym.

As I’m sure you can appreciate in these times it’s hard to find good people but we have been fortunate to find some amazing staff that cares so much about our members and their experience here. Unfortunately, sometimes even those great team members make mistakes and accidents happen and that was the case yesterday. Positive experience: Gym is ok. It is a tad dreary. Staff is nice! Daily price is fairly expensive at $20/day
Negative experience: All the reviews about service cancellation being impossible are absolutely true! We cancelled multiple times and continued to get charged for months with no refunds, even though we weren’t going there and relentlessly communicated that. We eventually just cancelled the card, to which they still email us about payment. There was never enough staff, tons of high schoolers who stood around and never put their weights back, the management was terrible, Caleb specifically, and we’re happy to have moved on. Spend your money on a different gym.

We do process cancels in club with a written receipt of cancel or we do have a mail in option for those who have relocated too far away and are unable to make the trip in person.
Fantastic experience: I like this place. It is gym as it should be Most gyms now days look like fancy clubs where only purpose is profit Zone gym still has this "old school" vibe while having all modern equipment
Fantastic experience: I trained with Dave for two weeks and had a great experience. Learned a variety of exercises and improved my form.
Fantastic experience: Environment is always friendly and staff is super nice. Gabe always comes up and asks how our days going. Hours work great for people in school with time to come before or after your classes end.
Fantastic experience: Nathan was a great personal trainer! He explained the exercises well, challenged me, and was patient in answering any questions I had. I also appreciate his efforts to conduct research in an area he was not familiar with prior to our session.
Fantastic experience: Been lifting here for 5+ years (since it was trufit). New management is great, and the upgades to equipment are fantastic. Not over-crowded most of the time, and always seems like most of the people there are serious. Alot of good class offerings as well (Coach Dave is a great boxing coach).
Fantastic experience: Great place to work out clean ,staff is friendly i have worked out on and off up there now for 5 years just started training with a personal trainer real having fun working out and staying healthy thanks to all the team up at zone athletic club

Fantastic experience: My husband and I moved here in March 2022 and were looking at gyms. Zone was the first stop on our list and we joined same day after our first workout! We loved it, the staff was super friendly, the space is open and has lots of natural light. Zone even upgraded a ton of their equipment and have 2+ of every machine. The members are also great and will even offer to let you work in on sets. The community here is my favorite part. It’s also super close to home, so we can walk there on weekends when the weather is nice!
Fantastic experience: Joined in April of 2021 and so far this gym has been fantastic! It's never so packed that I can't get a dumbbell or a machine. Plenty of equipment and a great training environment.

It is not our intention to make your routine difficult, we do the check in the way it is to ensure we are covered for liability of injury daily as well as properly ID all guests entering the club incase someone has other motives than exercise for entering the club. Unfortunately there are people out there that specifically target health clubs for theft (small and large) and we want to protect ALL of our guests and members. Negative experience: Horrible customer service. They will do anything to avoid downgrading or canceling a membership. To cancel you have to come Monday through Friday 9-5, there’s no way around it. The fact that I work during that time no one cares about. There’s only 1 person, the owner, who can do that. No one else is able to help. No one else is trained on this. Some kid at the front counter kept telling me it’s my fault and I don’t understand. Raised his voice and was totally rude. Also, when they charge for your membership they will also charge 3.99 for the transaction every month. If by chance you lose your card and a payment doesn’t go through they’ll charge additional $20 per transaction that didn’t go through, so the membership and the 3.99 fee. So thats additional $40. No one can help you with that even if it’s an honest error that happens once in a whole year.

Fantastic experience: Clean upbeat club! I'm a newcomer and was welcomed by staff. No judgement by fellow patrons, as I'm self conscious on my weight loss journey. It was a nice introduction. Great vibe! Happy to call this my gym home
Positive experience: Not enough employees for how big the gym is and it doesn't seem that sustainable with how many people currently workout here. The equipment is still top notch and it is very high quality. People who know more about working out should go here as it would be harder for someone who is just starting out to make their way around.

Fantastic experience: Staff are all super friendly, the gym is always kept clean & cluster free. I would recommend this gym for anyone who likes a smaller private gym, it does not disappoint
Fantastic experience: The trainers, Tommy and GM, Caleb? are great to work with. The facility is clean and the equipment is in great shape. The hours are perfect as well. I highly recommend Zone for everything that is offered.

Negative experience: Caleb Is a high pressured salesman. Not a very good one, but thinks he’s superior. Bad vibes here.
Negative experience: Nice staff, clean environment but they need more leg press machines. Leg press machines are always full even when the gym is not busy.

Fantastic experience: I love the gym. Very friendly staff and clean. They could use the space more wisely and not have so many cardio machines that never get used and organize a little better. Otherwise everything is perfect!
