Positive experience: Enjoyed this gym for years but it is closing in 2 days

Fantastic experience: Clean, complete.

Negative experience: Today is the fifth time in about 3 months where the person who is on the early shift just did not show up to open the gym at 5am. There are approximately five other cars waiting for the gym to open. Not only is this extremely inconvenient but I’ve tried to contact someone regarding some sort of refund because of this and have received no reply.

Negative experience: Been trying to cancel subscription but I’m being charged monthly because no one ever works the front desk and they won’t ever answer the phone. Terrible service.

Fantastic experience: So in short I've been here for a month I think. And in general it's a great gym not a pro gym like gold's gym but it's a great local gym to get a summer bod and workout they have plenty of good equipment from free weights to machines and ton of cardio equipment they have a separate yoga??? Sort of area. I like the gym it's not crowded it might seem really small at first but it's perfect size and doesn't feel cramped. Pros: -your easy going local gym -no planet fitness rule set -free weights -ATG equipment available -clean locker rooms smells fresh -showers -friendly staff -great manager -people working out here are also really sweet and friendly you can ask anyone for help -people actually wipe down their equipment unlike other places -great prices 10-30$ Cons: -they don't have a tanning bed here -only 1 aqua massage chair -i think there's a bit too many cardio machines -wipes run out but they replace them quickly (I'd consider it a bonus as it means people are using the wipes) -parking lot is kind of weird to park in -there's a great torta (sandwich) place close to the gym so when wind blows you smell the delicious sandwiches in the parking lot Overall 9/10 would be 10 if they took away some cardio machines there's just too many and only like 4 people using them

Negative experience: This gym has charged me an additional $230 and has not responded to any of my contact attempts. Do not buy a membership here if you value integrity and honesty. I will be contacting corporate.

Negative experience: The only thing this place has going for it is that it’s cheap and close by. I have been trying to speak with the manager for months now about a fraudulent charge on my card from their facility. The front desk people have acknowledged the charge is wrong. No one will get back to me. I was charge 28 dollars for items from their fridge that I never bought. At this point, I don’t know why it’s taken so long On top of this: - the gym frequently runs out of wipes for equipment and does not have a suitable replacement. Rags? Cleaner? Anything? Bring your own cleaning equipment if you don’t want to be using dirty equipment. - the people behind the front desk are either inattentive or not there or on their phone 90% of the time. - the phone rings and rings and rings. And when they do answer they act like you’ve personally attacked them by calling. The positives: - got all the basics of gym equipment and most of it seems well maintained - if you go outside peak hours you can get a good workout in Watch your bank account and bring your own cleaners if you want a cheap workout

Negative experience: This review is solely based on my experience which in all fairness is very limited. But it looks like i will not be even trying this gym since I tried calling 5 times in one day and allowed it to ring for from 2-6 minutes each time just incase they were busy and wanted to give some time. but no one ever answered and there was no option to even leave a message. best of luck getting clientele. ✌️

Negative experience: They were good until they started charging my account twice and sometimes for random amounts.

Negative experience: Its a small gym and has the essentials. It attracts a smaller crowd, so it works. The problem with this location is that it never seems to open on time. This is the 3rd Saturday in a row where they dont open on time. Might have to go to a new gym. Also, Lately it also has been really dirty. You can tell it hasnt been cleaned in weeks.

Fantastic experience: Only thing missing is a back extension. Love crunch

Negative experience: ZERO STARS!! The worst customer service experience I've ever had! I will never go back to this gym! I urge anyone who cares about how you are treated, to think twice...it may just happen to you! On 2/17/22 at 6:30 in the evening, I called Crunch Fitness on Mississippi & Chambers, where I had a paid membership; to ask a general question I had about my annual fee. The front desk representative at that location named Jaleel answered & when I told him I have a question about a charge on my account, he said "I don't have any control over that" in an abrupt, rude & disrespectful manner & said "what is your phone number" I replied "Excuse me" at which point he abruptly hung up on me. I called back & Jaleel answered. I asked did you just hang up on me? He replied "YES" I immediately requested to speak to his supervisor. His supervisor came on the line, as I started to speak & explain what just transpired with Jaleel, the supervisor without warning, abruptly hung up on me. In literal disbelief, I called right back & Jaleel answered. I asked him; did your supervisor just hang up on me? He replied, "YES". I then asked Jaleel for his supervisor William's supervisor & ended the call. On 2/18/22 I went into the gym & spoke to General Manager Mario, he immediately did not give me any comfort, as he stated he would speak to the two employees but that they are short-handed. As to suggest it as an excuse. I decided to speak directly to the Director. The director sent me an email apologizing for the employees' behavior & stated that the behavior was unacceptable & would be addressed. I was never told what disciplinary actions the employees faced. He stated that I would be refunded the annual fee & that I would be able to continue my membership without incident. I never received a refund & my membership was canceled without my knowledge or request. Crunch needs to seriously evaluate whom they choose to represent them if they truly care about their clientele.

Positive experience: This place won’t let to use the bathroom if are not a member next door neighbor is Nickel and play on Monday Morning for this week. I help with picking up trash around that area if you can help to throw trash in the trash cans instead of the parking lot please

Fantastic experience: Not a bad gym, typical crunch fitness definitely some characters in the gym treating the place like a modeling studio for their YouTube channels and good equipment no issues

Positive experience: The biggest problem recently is that there's no one at the front desk to assist. The hydro-massage requires a code but if there's no one at the front desk then the hydro-massage becomes unusable. I was there from 830-950pm and I never saw anyone at the front desk. There was a guy working out saying loudly, "who's gonna kick me out? The bros?" So maybe he was the employee but he was working out the entire time I was there so that wouldn't make much sense. Regardless, no employee, no service, no stars They removed some essential pieces of equipment since covid, but even then the gym would be really appealing with sprinting treadmills.

Fantastic experience: Allie, Mel and will are great people. They always greet you with smiles and warm welcomes. This Gym may be smaller but the p Employees make it great. Been a member for over 1.5 years.

Negative experience: Being a member of this gym has been an absolute nightmare. They are completely unprofessional in their communication and fail to treat their customers fairly. They charged my husband and I for two months after we canceled our membership back in October; they have yet to refund us our money. We've spoken to multiple employees that work for the company and no one is able to provide us with any information on when we will receive our money back. The manager at the aurora location, Melvin apologized for his mistake in charging us and emailed me three weeks ago explaining that we would be refunded. I have not heard from him or the regional manager who was copied on the email about this refund. I have gone in person twice to speak to someone about this and they just keep saying it's been processed and then refuse to let me speak with anyone about the closed account. This is completely wrong and I will be taking this to a lawyer. Do not join this club, they will steal your money, they are completely unprofessional and the business is handled very poorly.

Fantastic experience: My wife and I were not able to utilize Crunch fitness due to the pandemic. However, when inquiring about cancelling our membership an employee by the name of Dre went above and beyond to assist us with the process. Once things return to normal-ish we will be coming back here to experience Crunch fitness. Thanks again Dre!

Fantastic experience: This is a really nice clean gym, they always have a variety of music to listen to while you're working out, all the employees are super nice, geat place to workout.

Fantastic experience: Good gym for good price but i noticed occasionally they play music thats too calm, like for smoking weed to. Makes me sleepy, bring headphones just in case

Negative experience: I go to work out at 7am thinking less ppl, less issues, but with this staff, its all issues. How does a gym allow mold to grow on their stuff and not clean it? How does staff see other spit and not wipe down machines, and say its their right.? Disgustijg the young dude in the morning on Thursday is useless and so is the large bearded guy with him. Dont go here unless you want fungal rashes allover

Fantastic experience: Freida is great! Super friendly and she helped me when I had an issue with my account. Will definitely recommend this gym to my friends and family because the customer service is amazing. Overall decently sized gym, clean and when I went around evening time on a weekday it wasn’t packed. Will for sure be coming back.

Negative experience: I switched to another I’ve been trying to cancel my membership here for about two weeks now and they are making it very difficult. I’ve emailed the manager twice, I’ve called, I’ve come in about canceling my membership. I asked them to call me when I came in because apparently it can’t be canceled unless the manager is there. At this point I’m extremely frustrated. I already paid for an extra month that I didn’t have to, all because this gym won’t get back to me. I would just cancel my card but they said I had to set up my bank account number when I signed up. Never again.

Negative experience: What an absolute nightmare! They charged me over and over during the pandemic, when I asked to cancel, they kept saying it was, and then I'd get charged again the next month. Whatever, I went to the bank for a stop payment. Done... right?? 5 months later, I get another email saying that I am past due..??? I have multiple emails stating that I wanted to cancel and that it was taken care of. Nice gym, but be prepared to never be able to cancel your membership. Once you give them your credit card info, they charge freely.

Fantastic experience: Crunch Fitness in Aurora, CO is almost a hidden gem in the plaza off of Mississippi Ave. The gym itself is clean and almost never too packed. The machines and equipment are all in good working order and the restrooms are clean. The staff is also extremely friendly. I have to say in my many years of going to various gyms, I have not found one that I couldn't pick something out about that I didn't like. Crunch Fitness in Aurora just might be the perfect gym. I highly recommend AT LEAST checking it out - I promise you won't be disappointed.

Negative experience: My experience with this place wasn't good. This yesterday I approached a men who was working there, who seemed overall good. But this morning I came and a woman working in the front had very poor communication and was highly unprofessional, and I hope this location will hire better employees in the future. I will not go back this place. God help us.

Fantastic experience: My wonderful gym! They're giving me a great place to get fit and they're everything I need!

Negative experience: I walked all the way to the gym to find out they require a towel which is not posted anywhere on the website. I even checked the website prior to going there to make sure there were no covid rules that i needed to follow other than a mask. It is a little fishy to have a rule like that and not post it anywhere. Seems like they are just trying to force people to buy their towels, which of course I had no money on me since I shouldn't need that to go to the gym

Positive experience: Pretty happy with this place. Well spaced out, clean, respectable crowd, and plenty to do. Good variety of machines and free to weights. Im just waiting for the heavy bags to massage their return here. I live for getting out that stress on those!

Negative experience: Tried cancelling my membership due to Covid. Checked out the website to confirm that it wouldn't be a problem so i mailed in a letter with my information only to get a callback from the manager telling me i would pay a cancellation fee. I asked him to check out the website and he said that wasn't accurate so i asked to speak with the district manager. That was 3 weeks ago and still no call.

Negative experience: I was charged a $45 dollar ANNUAL fee the LAST MONTH of my contract!!!! Along with the annual fee and the membership fee, Crunch Fitness charged me $80 in June 2020 during COVID-19, a week AFTER I emailed with the district manager and she told me my contract had ended! I had to send emails and make a phonecall to get answers as to why I was charged $80 DURING COVID-19! I was told it was an $45 ANNUAL FEE CHARGED THE LAST MONTH OF MY CONTRACT! My boyfriend lost his job due to covid-19. I am solely paying all our bills and it is a VERY VERY HARD TIME! I contested the $45 and demanded a refund but Crunch would not do anything to help! It's a pandemic and this is how you choose to treat your members! You charge them an annual fee the last month of their contract!?!?!! During COVID-19!?! THIS IS THEFT. Especially for a shady company that can't respond to emails! Crunch Fitness just wants your money no matter what happens, DO NOT GET A MEMBERSHIP HERE!

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love this gym. Its clean, the equipment is ergonomic and the staff is friendly and helpful. My personal trainer is legit and extremely knowledgeable. I am glad the rate$ is above the rest because it ensures you are serious about the workout when willing to pay. Cuts down on meanderers and crowding. The music helps because you don't always need to bring your own or wear ear plugs. Worthless staff aren't around for long. I am reaching for this suggestion, but they need signs telling people to take cell phone conversations out of the workout areas.

I've been trying to cancel my membership for a month now and I can't seem to get in contact with anyone who can help me. I've emailed their customer service department several times with no reply. On top of that, there never seems to be a manager available to help me cancel my membership. I do not recommend getting a membership at this gym. Find a locally owned gym that actually values its customers.

Fantastic experience: Excellent Facility, excellent Faculty. CLEAN.

Positive experience: I have been a member here for about two years. It first started out as an excellent gym and the first staff member I met was very helpful. After I met him some of the staff are average but don't really go out of there way and just do what they need to do to get by. A few are poor and plain lazy and unhelpful. One did not care when I told him about the stench in the mens restroom. It was an extreme foul smell. I was brushed off when I said this and nothing was done about it. He continued playing his video game. The music is way to loud and Ive explained that on a couple occasions but has fallen on deaf ears. I've been told they don't have access to the volume controls. Ive asked them to pass on my concern to a person in control. I haven't thought about moving on with this gym but I am beginning to consider other gyms. The plus to the gym is it isn't crowded and all the machines are working and is fairly new. They no longer provide wifi service. This was a great bonus when I first started here.

Negative experience: Nice gym but customer service is terrible they give you a deal and end up been totally different and charging you more try to cancel and the person that can do it is not there and doesn’t bother to call back I do not recommend this place at all.

Fantastic experience: Crunch is awesome! It is consistently the cleanest gym I've ever been to; the staff members are so nice and helpful; the bathrooms are immaculate; and all of the workout equipment is always in working condition and, again, very clean. Oh, and the hydro massage chairs are sweet! Highly recommend this gym for everyone, including the hard-core lifters like me.

Fantastic experience: Small gym so peak time isn’t as crowded as other gyms. There’s cardio machines, free weights, and a work out room. The staff is very friendly - pays attention to details. I’ve been taking their group classes for a little over a month and the front desk receptionist takes the time to remember me and always hand me a ticket without me asking. Feels like family, highly recommend!

Positive experience: Love this gym. Always clean. Not crazy busy. Great equipment in great condition! Staff are happy to help but also mind there own business :) The only negative, and I know I'm reaching lol... I wish they offered pay-as-you-go on the tanning bed and aqua massage chair.

Positive experience: Joined back in Nov2018, it's been good for me, right around the corner from my house. plenty of running machines, which is what i primarily want and never a wait.

Fantastic experience: This is seriously the best gym in Aurora with the most AMAZING staff. Every single one of them will go above and beyond to help you out. Drew is the best personal trainer I have ever had the pleasure of working with. He's a saint. Taylor the manager is amazing as well. You won't regret getting a membership here. Trust me, I hate working out, but I look forward to coming to this gym everyday to get it in!

Fantastic experience: I love it here, the gym is small and clean, the staff is very friendly but a little intimidating. There are a variety of machines and classes that you can sign up for and weights. I pay month to month and go whenever I can, I think it's definitely worth it.

Fantastic experience: Place is clean. showers+chicks r hot. Hella friendly staff. Music they play is kinda old, but if you dont have some kind of mp3 player+some headphones in this day and age, youll like the music.

Fantastic experience: Great gym, very clean, new equipment and a lot of equipment you won't find in other gyms, as well as all of the standard stuff of course. Nice locker rooms. Most other gym goers here seem to be pretty cool, which is rare and I've been to hundreds of gyms. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I don't currently live in the area, but if I move I will definitely sign up here, and I checked out a couple other local gyms. Definitely recommended.

Negative experience: Trash. I had a card for a free month and the guy told me that I could either do the free month or sign up for a dollar and I told him that I wanted to do the free month because I was gonna be moving soon. Well, fast forward several months and I got a call from a collection agency that I owe $150. Don't go there.

Negative experience: Hey! Don’t go here! I had a membership, monthly. I cancelled it when I moved, and today I just got a letter saying they sent me to collections. Way to charge me when I asked you to stop...thieves. If you are looking for a gym, go to Vasa, it’s really close to Crunch on Buckley. It’s a better facility, and they won’t steal from you!

Fantastic experience: Great place to workout, conveniently located and they have a lot of equipment to put in a good workout. The staff is very helpful and more friendly than most other gym I have been to. The place is very clean as well.
