Negative experience: this gym is filled with scammers and money hungry people, I hurt my shoulder in the gym in 2022 and I was unable to continue training and was told by their head coach my membership was taken care off and I moved to a whole new state and now in 2024 I am still going to the doctor and I might do a surgery and I was told by the scammers in the gym my member ship was not canceled and I was sent to collections. what a bunch of bs, and I am going to sue for that just be patient. bunch of scammers

Fantastic experience: You won’t find any kickboxing, boxing, or jiujitsu coach in the area with more experience and passion for their craft than Mark, Ronaldo, and Bernard. I’ve trained on and off my whole life. I’m in the Army so I often move around a lot and have been a member at multiple gyms throughout my lifetime. Unfortunate I couldn’t stay here longer to train, but I enjoyed my time while it lasted. Mark isn’t just the best kickboxing coach in the area, he’s one of the best in the country. His experience enables him to communicate the basic footwork and combos to establish the foundation you need, along with knowing how to fine tune more experienced fighters. Not only does he understand the power of positive reinforcement in his coaching style, but if you’re a more experienced fighter, he knows how to work with your style and tailor the training to make you better at what you already have established. If anyone is looking for a legitimate kickboxing gym that’s going to challenge you and take your skills to the next level, then you don’t need to look any further. It’s predominantly a kickboxing gym, but don’t let that discourage you from the rest of the valuable training you can get. Bernard shows up motivated everyday to coach boxing. He sticks to a plan every month to improve boxers on certain aspects of the craft that eventually turn you into a more well rounded boxer. And last but not least, the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu classes are straight from the horses mouth. It was a privilege to have begun my jiujitsu journey with one of the best in the world. Ronaldo’s classes are great for beginners and those at higher belt levels. Every day is different and his training plan often builds off the previous day. If you’re looking to learn traditional Brazilian jiujitsu in Augusta, then Ronaldo is your guy. It’s a traditional and family oriented gym. Everyone is respectful and the coaches ensure the sparring never gets out of hand. I highly recommend this gym for experienced fighters and beginners interested in the various arts.

I take one on one training with him. He will push you but not kill you. He's super aware of when to slow down and knows when you're trying to be lazy.. ewwww.. honestly I'm glad I'm doing it! Fantastic experience: My teenage son switched from another martial arts school to Greubel's exactly one year ago because he wanted to attend a school that would challenge him more in his favorite format, kickboxing. He went from being a sparring superstar in his old school to starting Greubel's in the beginner class, and it was the best decision we could have made for him. His technique is so much better and it's giving him a great workout 2-3 days a week. The instructors are very knowledgeable and don't hesitate to correct form and technique on the spot to improve performance. The price is very reasonable, and Mr. Greubel communicates important information when needed.

Fantastic experience: The mark of a great martial arts gym is seen in what is prioritized. There's a massive emphasis on the fundamentals for each respective style that is taught here (Muay Thai, Boxing, Kick Boxing, BJJ, Judo). All the coaches and fighters here show everyone and each other respect. What I didn't realize until I tried out my free week is that your membership allows you to participate in every class offered, it's not a per-class cost, unlike some other gyms. Whether you're looking to stay in shape or compete I definitely recommend coming on by for the free week. Odds are you'll like what you see.

In addition, their Double Jab Fight Gear is top notch. I bought my gloves well over a year ago and they still feel as if they are brand new, and they wrap up great around your wrists for protection. Fantastic experience: This place is awesome! You get a great variety of workouts plus kickboxing (or muy thai) lessons from patient knowledgeable trainers. There is no judgement or exclusion. It's a clean and sanitary environment. This was just what I needed to curb my 2020 anxieties. Feeling so much better already and I've only been going a little over a month. Worth the money for sure.

Fantastic experience: My two sons (11&16 yrs old) and I Have been training for about 1.5 months! I have learned so much. My oldest has done mma since he was 5 yrs old on and off. But he has really found his nitch. He loves it here and has goal he wants to reach. My youngest, this is his first time doing any MMA and has LOVED it. They have welcomed us with open arms. They have some amazing instructors that are not only great at what they do but also so friendly, relatable, funny, and they push you to do better! I have always wanted to do kick boxing. We are able to do this together at the same time. I can watch my youngest in the other class and we can also train together and spend some quality time together. This has been our saving grace. Now I don’t feel bad for going to the gym, we can all go together and get our workout on! It has been great not only physically but also mentally. HIGHLY recommended!

Fantastic experience: I started only 2 months ago, and I’ve loved every second of it. Once you get used to leaving a comfort zone and get to work, you will get hooked with this gym. Whether you want to dive into learning self defense, compete, or just work out, I highly recommend Greubels MMA. All the staff/coaches are great. Eager to help and push you to improve, all you have to do is ask for guidance. The notion of being a part of a specialized family is present here and that means much to me. Everyone pushes each other to be better one day at a time. The only drawback I’ve had is the parking lot may not be large enough during peak hours, and the facility in Martinez could benefit from expanding. Certainly not a bad thing. Fantastic experience: 10/10 look forward to coming every day

Negative experience: We had an appointment yesterday afternoon at 4pm. We showed up at the location and the doors were locked and we couldn't get anyone on the phone. After waiting for 15 minutes with no answer we decided to leave. Very disappointing because our two kids were looking forward to it.

Fantastic experience: My son started here about a month ago and loves it. He is homeschooled and we kept trying to find some kind of physical activity for him and he absolutely loves going here. It is a bit pricey but honestly it is worth every cent. The coaches take time with each kid and teach them things in class that carry out into home life as well. I look forward to see how he grows in this program.

Mark and all the other coaches are very knowledgeable and helpful during all classes, especially the beginners kickboxing class! I definitely recommend it.

Fantastic experience: Great place! Whether you are looking to become the next Gracie or just simply get in shape, this place has something for you. I go mainly to the cardio kickboxing classes and not only is it a killer workout but the caliber of instructor is elite! Adam regularly murders us with punishing combos and always pushes us beyond what we think we can do at first. Everyone there, both staff and student, are very respectful.

Fantastic experience: My son has been taking classes for almost a year. He started with the summer program and fell in love. We have been doing classes after school Mon-Thurs since. I have seen some great changes physically and mentally in him since. If you’re looking for great instructors and even better mentors for your kids you won’t find better than Greubels!

Fantastic experience: The classes are never boring! Mark and the other instructor are wonderful teachers and they break combos down to ensure proper technique! They have patience with their students and give their time to correct posture/form so that you aren't injuring yourself or doing the wrong movement! I personally do kickboxing and it's awesome! Fantastic experience: I’ve wanted to learn kickboxing since I was a little girl. I finally have the opportunity at Greubal’s MMA. This place has been so amazing. The people are wonderful, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable. I personally take the kickboxing classes and the cardio kickboxing classes. I have so much fun each and every time all while getting an awesome workout. If you’re not into kickboxing they also offer BJJ and MMA. Come try it out you won’t be disappointed!

Fantastic experience: My son is undiagnosed, unmedicated ADHD, the kind that only pops up when he's bored, but mysteriously disappears when he's doing something he likes. I wanted to find a way for him to release some energy, n learn discipline at the same time. After doing a TON of research in the area for martial arts (karate was out of the question, no offense, but it's the Dane Cook of martial arts), I landed at Greubel's. I know my kid can be a handful, n he has trouble focusing when there's too much stimulation, but the instructors instinctively zero in on him, n get him back on track. He's really liking it so far, n he's learning a lot. I can see this being a long term outlet, if nothing else. This place is pretty clean for a gym too, they obviously take good care of it.

In every class you can learn something new and get a great workout. Going to these classes can help with stress and staying healthy and fit and at the same time having fun. Fantastic experience: I have been going to Greubel's for 4 months now and I feel like I am part of the family. The instructors are simply amazing. No matter how large the classes can be, the instructors are all really good at giving each person one-on-one time, almost like having a personal session. They are always encouraging, professional, and easy-going. I have tried almost all of the classes offered and they are all consistently high quality, regardless of who is teaching it. Trust me, you will be dripping in sweat 10 minutes into each class!! Overall they are all really invested to make sure you get the best workout you can possibly imagine and this is definitely the best place to de-stress, re-charge while having fun and staying fit.

Fantastic experience: Greubel’s MMA is awesome. I was so nervous for my first class and convinced that I would be awful at kickboxing but every one of the instructors I’ve met so far has been extremely patient, encouraging, and they make you feel like you’re practically with family. It’s also an incredible workout and a lot of fun (especially for someone who is not fond of cardio/running). The time just flies by when you’re in a class and you will leave feeling pumped and better than when you walked in. They also let you try classes for a week, but you’ll only need one to get hooked!

Not only are the workouts fun and better than any workout you could get at a normal gym, but the gym really starts to feel like a family. I have made friends there that push me to train harder during workouts, keep me motivated to come back, and just make the whole experience more enjoyable. The coaches, along with being superb and among the best in the nation, are very personable as well and really care about you meeting your goals. I started coming here a few months ago and it has been the best decision I have made since I’ve been in Augusta. I was recovering from a serious injury and nervous about working out again with the potential for re-injury. The coaches are extremely knowledgeable and were able to offer me substitutions for any exercise that would bother it. I am now feeling much healthier, happier, and my injury, while still there, has actually drastically improved since I started training again.
