Welcome to Great Lakes Athletic Club - Your Fitness Family in Lake Orion, Michigan! GLAC is a full service gym with a wide range of amenities, including: cardio, group fitness classes, Olympic weight center, indoor track, Olympic indoor pool and outdoor pool, rock climbing wall, basetball courts, volleyball, pickleball, raquetball, spa, cafe, children's center, yoga, martial arts, and more!

At GLAC, we have everything you need to achieve your fitness goals, from group fitness to personal training, indoor and outdoor pools and tracks, and a state-of-the-art childcare center. Surrounded by a community of like-minded people, you'll soon feel like part of the family.

This commercial aired in November, 2019, and it does not show our current COVID protocol or policies. It also does not reflect our current class offerings, but we look forward to adding more and more classes back to the Group Fitness schedule throughout the spring and summer!

We're proud to have offered over 245 group fitness classes before the pandemic, and we look forward to gradually adding all of your beloved classes back to the schedule. In the meantime, we're thrilled to be able to offer several classes from our Training Effect series, including Circuit, Cadence, Bodyweight & Bands, and Strength & Cardio. All classes are set up to ensure social distancing and coached by personal trainers, so you can enjoy free training with your membership.

At GLAC, we don't judge you based on your fitness level. Our experienced trainers will work with you to create fun and challenging workouts that are tailored to help you reach your fitness goals, no matter where you're starting from.

Despite all the challenges life throws our way, GLAC has always been a source of social and physical support. I'm so grateful for the friends I've made here and the strength I've gained from being part of this community.

I'm really happy to be a part of the GLAC community. When my husband and I found GLAC, we knew it was the right place for us. Our daughters have grown up here. First, in childcare, then learning how to swim, making friends in summer camp, and now studying karate.

I really appreciate the community at GLAC. I love being pushed by my trainers and competing with my friends. I'm really grateful to have this sense of normalcy back in my life, which wouldn't be possible without the hard-working staff at GLAC who make sure I feel safe every day.

The GLAC makes it easy for your kids to both join you on your fitness journey and take part in their own fitness journey, starting as young as 3 months old. They’ll look forward to your weekday workout time as much as you do when it means playing in our Children’s Center. And our indoor pool, backyard sports area, Family Hours, and rock wall offer fun afterschool and weekend activities that you all can look forward to!
