Fantastic experience: My husband and I moved to Auburn a couple months ago and were looking for a local gym that was 24 hours since we have small children we wanted to have flexible times. This gym provides just that! It’s a perfect daily couples getaway It’s super clean and they have every machine you need! They also have a beautiful group fitness/ dance room. As a dance instructor this is perfect for me to go in and rehearse/ etc. We absolutely love it!

Fantastic experience: Fit1 has been my 24hr access, go-to gym since 2012, and it continues to exceed my expectations. The variety of equipment—machines, free weights, exercise bands, and more—ensures there's always something new to try. Though I have personally not signed up for any of the various classes offered, I have observed that participants seem satisfied with the instructors' knowledge and support. The facilities are spotless and are very clean. The staff, are incredibly helpful and they truly care about their members' experience. Over the years, I have noticed that equipment is readily upgraded as needed. For me, it is more than just a gym. When I walk in, I always get a sense of a welcome community dedicated to helping you achieve your fitness goals.

Fantastic experience: We love Fit 1gym!! Our family of 4 have been coming for over 2 years and the facility has everything we need to get a great workout- the staff are first rate, always kind, and friendly. We feel so lucky to have this great gym in South Auburn!!

Fantastic experience: Convenient location. The gym is a smaller community gym, but has a variety of equipment. The group classes have helpful enthusiastic instructors, who make your workout enjoyable and you get good workout at the same time.

Fantastic experience: I have been a member of Fit 1 since it opened its doors at Auburn Folsom Rd. It is a great place to get a good workout. People are always nice. I have been to other gyms in the area but Fit 1 is always 5 *.

Fantastic experience: I started my membership with Auburn Fit1 about two months ago, and hired Tami as my personal trainer. My goals were originally weight loss and strength training, and I added healthier eating habits after I found out Tami offers nutrition coaching. Tami has been an excellent fitness and nutrition coach. She makes the strength training days fun with different exercises every session, and keeps you motivated. She'll encourage you to push yourself, while also making sure you don't exceed your limits and injure yourself. She'll offer multiple diet sessions, which is great because it helps prevent frustration, or information overload, for the client. I'm so thankful Auburn Fit1 hired Tami as a personal trainer! I highly recommend her to anyone serious about getting fit.

Fantastic experience: Great neighborhood gym. It has all the equipment you need in a more quaint and non-intimidating environment! They keep it very clean and often ask for recommendations for new equipment. Also, it’s always open which is very convenient.

Fantastic experience: I’d like to give a huge shout out to the trainer Tami Houston Maldonado. I’ve been training with her at Fit1 for 6 weeks and in that timeframe have learned so much about diet and exercise. She is a master at her trait I would recommend her highly if you want to change your fitness/health lifestyle. She is a no nonsense type of person and fights hard for you to reach your goals. She brings sunshine to your day! Go Tami!

Let me tell you she’s knowledgeable and very professional and a lot of fun. I had what I thought was an injury and she knew exactly what it was and fixed it right away. Fantastic experience: I have belonged to Fit1 for 10 years. This gym has provided me with a perfect place to retain physically fit. I mainly attend classes. The gym is clean, staff friendly and helpful, instructors are positive and knowledgeable, members are friendly. I highly recommend this gym.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to the reformer Pilates classes at Fit 1 for two years now. I started after a suffering from a shoulder injury and never stopped! Taking Pilates here has helped me grow so much in my fitness and everyday strength. They have the best instructors, lots of class times, and great equipment!

Fantastic experience: The community couldn’t be more fortunate to have Auburn Fit1 in their backyard. The gym has the most up to date equipment, the instructors are top notch and the management are hard working, compassionate people that go over and above for their members.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been taking Pilates at Fit1 for about 4 years. The studio is large, bright and welcoming and the reformers are comfortable with 2 new ones added last year. Reformer Pilates has increased my core strength, balance, it’s been so good for my arthritis and scoliosis and I go 3 times a week. In addition, reformer Pilates at Fit1 is affordable. Bonnie and Shannon are my go to instructors and Dee is awesome!! If you are in search of a great Pilates studio, Fit1 is IT!

Fantastic experience: Auburn Fit1 is a classic neighborhood gym. I've been a member since the beginning. Staff is friendly, the environment is clean and, for the most part, it's very easy to access any exercise machine you need. the 24-hour access is a huge benefit. I recommend it, especially if you are in an older demographic who is looking for a low-key gym experience. Classes are popular, even though I don't use many of them.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic gym! Only gribe I would have is that there are not enough different class times for fitness classes, like spin class, etc. But I understand that, and there are still class times that could work for a wide variety of people. So other than that, the atmosphere is great, it's always clean, there's always machines available and space for everyone, AND it's open 23 hours a day! Really can't beat the convenience of that. Staff is friendly and helpful as well, really no complaints - one of the better gyms I've been to!

Fantastic experience: I love my neighborhood gym, it’s small but with lots of equipment that is always clean. The staff is courteous., friendly and cheerful. They have a great treadmill where I can run through the Alps and other places around the world. And there are great classes with really good instructors. UPDATE: 7/20/2023 Still very happy at Fit 1. The equipment is clean and works correctly, the facility is cool and welcoming on a hot summer day. I get to watch YouTube videos while running on the treadmill. The people are friendly. 5 stars - keep it up Fit 1!

Fantastic experience: I love this gym. The group classes and instructors are the best, and most classes are included with membership! They were also amazing during the confusion of Covid—I just think the owners are good people that genuinely care about their members, not just the bottom line.
