Negative experience: Please for the love get better childcare. I have stopped coming because of the lack of attentiveness and just plain rudeness. Ladies at the front are always half asleep too. Come on guys.

Fantastic experience: Very nice Sportsplex. The exercise facilities are well maintained. There are indoor and outdoor walking paths, weight training area, cardio area, basketball courts, pickleball courts, soccer field, an olympic size pool, and so much more. Opelika did a great job and has a great staff here. The few times I arrived before there posted hours everything is already open! It is so refreshing to arrive a few minutes early to be welcomed into the facilities that are not only open but ready for people to arrive! 5:00 AM is the posted opening time during the week and this place was ready to go well before that; very impressed with the team here! Overall: great place with nice facilities! Extra parking spaces would be great.

Fantastic experience: This is an amazing facility for the residents of Opelika, Auburn. Pickleball, swimming, soccer and more. Went to the 12th annual youth triathlon. Hats off to the donors, organizers and volunteers. Amazing event. Hopefully it will continue. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: It's always nice here. Some life guards are on top of it, and a few are not. Kid's running needs to be a focus for all. Be consistent.

Fantastic experience: What a wonderful place to be with the family to get exercise and have a great time. Whether you are playing soccer, Frisbee golf, swimming at the pool, or playing plickel ball. There is so much to do here. You can even work out with the weight machines. Either way, I think it's a wonderful place to be with friends and family.

Fantastic experience: Great gym! Came while visiting family and was able to use the pool for $4 per person after 12:30. Zero entry pool was great for the kids!

Negative experience: They make you do a bank draft. If you change your bank account you better call them because they will charge you some bogus fees. Will not work with you. Place is a rip-off!!!

Fantastic experience: It is a gorgeous facility with very friendly people. You can enjoy walking trails, soccer fields, pickleball, the amphitheater, splash pool, plus so much more. It is clean and well kept. I would recommend a visit and if you like what you see I would join. A great addition to the community.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic course! Mix of open and wooded holes, cart friendly, clean, bathrooms in the Sportsplex, definitely recommend! There are 3 extra holes, for a total of 21.

Negative experience: Nice facility but, I have a disc problem in my lower back. And I am having problems standing and walking. I made the trip here from out of state to watch my husband play in a pickleball tournament. There is no place to sit and watch the games and there are no chairs allowed for spectators. So, my trip here was for nothing. This should be posted on a website for the Sportsplex NO SPECTATOR ACCOMODATIONS!! I am very disappointed. Not even exceptions for the handicapped. Isn't there a law for public facilities to accomodate the handicap? No other tournament in the south has been this unaccomodating. Pitiful.

Positive experience: We had a little walk here around. It’s very green and beautiful, not so many benches for sitting and watching the games. There are many fields for different kind of sports. I don’t remember is there some water station to refill a bottle.

Fantastic experience: Senior citizens, this is the place to be. Lots of activities for bodies that need to be reformed. If you have a younger family, there are plenty of activities here to keep young minds and bodies active. What are you waiting for? Go join!

Fantastic experience: A very nice area. Christmas trees in front lobby are beautiful. This place has rooms for rent for events like baby showers. And maybe birthday parties. There was a janitor there to clean up afterward but we removed the cloths from the tables and chairs. Sweep and take care of our stuff and I'm guessing the clean up person would come behind to do the rest. Very nice facility though.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful pickleball facility that is open air but covered. There is also a 21 hole disc golf course here. There are cement tee pads with long and short tees for each hole.

Negative experience: Apparently being married is what determines that you are a family so we were turned down on a membership after being told twice that it was not required. Thanks for nothing.

Negative experience: This morning my boyfriend and I headed to Sportsplex to sign up for a family plan. We live together and have a child but we are not married. We asked two different people at two different times if we had to be married to get the family plan and they said no that all when needed is to be living together. When we got there this morning we filled out all of the paper work just to be told that we had to be married by a woman that seemed like we were a bother to her. We were so disappointed to find out that we were not told the truth two different times. Even on the website it does not specify that you have to be married. We were really looking forward to working on our self’s without having to find someone to watch our little one. I would also like to add that my boyfriend had just gotten off of a 12 hour shift. If we would have known the correct information would wouldn't have had to disturb our child sleep, waste gas, and mess up his sleeping schedule for absolutely no reason at all. All of the employees should know the rules about the memberships so things like this don’t happen.

Positive experience: I had a problem with Sportsplex but they did remarkably well in fixing the problem. I am changing my rating. Thank you Sportsplex. I use the pool and cardio machines here as per doctor's orders. Last check up my doctor was very happy with my blood work and it is all due to Sportsplex and retirement which gives me the time to work out here. Equipment is always in good shape. My issues were with the pool scheduling and rules. They listened to me and have apparently modified a rule. Don't you wish all government was so customer centric?

Fantastic experience: Awesome place to work out. They also have a great Adult Activity Center, with lots of activities. They will also have new pickle ball courts by summer.
