Positive experience: I think this is the best gym around by far I just wish they would clean out their saunas more I haven’t been able to use it since I started because it always smells so bad in there add some scent rocks or something

Negative experience: I forgot to update my checking information when I switched banks. They charged me a $30 late fee!!. Credit cards don't even charge absurd fees like that.

Fantastic experience: 10/2024 - I'm still working 1on 1 with Danielle - she continues to support me in my health and fitness goals. Danielle consistently introduces new exercises to keep sessions and classes interesting. There have been some new faces in the gym, both members and trainers alike. It's fabulous to see this club grow. Hats off to trainers such as Danielle, Kevin, Casey and Mike - not to leave out Bekka & Durell. Fantastic experience: On the one hand I want to make sure they get credit - it's clean and there are tons of racks. On the other hand I don't want to give them 5 Stars just so you don't consider joining and take up equipment or do your meme exercises while people are actually trying to lift. They should probably charge more, to be honest. Like twice as much. It's a great gym for the price, and the people watching is spectacular.

Negative experience: I went to cancel my membership since i am a member at a local small business. Suede at the front counter had a very poor demeanor and was very dismissive, he scribbled my membership ID and told me to call customer service who at one point told me to go to the fitness club to cancel the membership. I then asked Suede for a manager and he looked at me like i was doing something wrong for canceling and requesting a manager. He then got Laura who is not a manager and then some giy comes over and approaches me and says they are unable to cancel at the club. This is all happening at the same time i have customer service on the line. Customer service then tries to persuade me in placing my account on hold. Then tells me I need to send an email and they will charge me another month. The young man then turns and tells me the rules are made by people not in the club house. Clearly and no one has compassion or critical thinking skills to just help someone. Poor behavior and you have a bunch of kids operating your gym it looks like a night club and there is no sense of privacy or respect at this fitness club.

Negative experience: If I could give no stars, I would. Called a year prior and was told I was in a 2 year contract so I called this year in August. It's like hoop after hoop to cancel, call this number .. call the number and it's like email this and I wake up today to a charge. I called them and it's in fine print in the terms that when you cancel ..they are gonna charge you a month as a grace period and that just a sucker move. I hate doing business with sneaky companies. They are a joke .

Negative experience: I am fairly new to MA. In the 8 months I’ve been here I got an edge fitness membership soon to realize that the gym wasn’t reasonable. The membership is catered to Women needs and its densely populated in the common hours of downtime. It’s not a 24/7 Gym and nor is it a friendly gym either. Today I paid a $1400 collection debt for edge fitness before it reflected on my credit. I strongly advise against a membership ship here. You are better off seeking a private gym or personal trainer with a gym. The benefits would be worth it. Edge memberships aren’t a reasonable price and once you are locked in a contract with them. They do their best to squeeze you for your money. They don’t make it possible for you to cancel a membership. I only attended a month at this gym and paid for 2. Now I paid over 1400 for a gym membership that was hardly ever used.
We are sorry to hear your frustration Mason. All pricing is laid out in the membership agreement, for full transparency. However, if an account goes delinquent, and is not rectified after several months with us, it does get sent off to a collections agency at that point.
Fantastic experience: I highly recommend coming to this place. I’ve been doing personal training with one of their many trainers,Colin, for a few months now and he has been so great for helping me reach my personal goals. The staff here will create a personalized workout and diet plan for whatever it is you’re trying to accomplish and they have every tool available to do so. If you’re thinking about making your life better then definitely start going to Edge

Negative experience: The absolute worst gym. Stay away if you can. So far I've had 2 pairs of squat shoes, a trx strap, wrist straps, weight belt and handles ALL stolen. After 2 years they randomly cut locks open and emptied lockers and threw everything in your locker away. Nobody re-racks their weights. It is always so busy, no matter when you go. Trust me STAY AWAY!

Please note that we do have policies in place regarding locker use as well as personal property - Members may use a locker during their workout only. We suggest you bring a lock with you and take it back when you are finished your workout. The Edge is not responsible for damage, loss or theft of any personal property in the club or parking lot. Lockers may be used for daily use only. Locks which remain on lockers overnight will be cut off and contents discarded.
Fantastic experience: This is my favorite gym and best edge in the area! The staff is always so nice and the gym is always clean. If you have a question or issue they got you and they always greet you when you come in. They added new machines which I love! Provides more variety and people can actually do their workouts. Highly recommend

Negative experience: OK Gym if you know what you're getting into and don't go at peak hours. Pros: -Great weekday hours -Fairly Clean gym space -Big space with lots of equipment -Friendly staff Cons: -Broken machines and equipment don't get fixed. (Even the scale in the locker room has been out of service for the last 4 months). -Impossible to break contract. Fine if you read it but you're absolutely on the hook for the whole agreement. Won't let you switch to the newly announced month to month if you already have a contract which is obviously preferable for most. -Always broken down/disgusting locker room that is somehow always absolutely covered in water -VERY woman focused. Many classes catered to women. Gym has a women only gym/space. Great for them; but the men do not. Good thing if you are a male get charged the same to use less amenities!

Negative experience: This needs to be said, Coming to this gym and driving the distance for quality is one thing however when you get here your greeted with good people but the smell of the gym is terrible. The green tarp the men’s bathroom don’t get me started on the sauna… even the walls are usually dirty and STINK. The machines are great there’s some new ones that were just added nothing is usually broken or isn’t working which is very good but I honestly can’t wait to finish the 1 year agreement! And find something more suitable for me. I hope things get sorted out w the smelly situation stay disciplined and stay strong!

Fantastic experience: I love the location, price and amenities. However, I absolutely HATE how freaking loud they play the music when you first walk through the door. It's off putting and you can't even hear the person at the front desk. I wear hearing aids and they pick up background noise. Ppl play there won music in there ears so why does it need to be so loud

I was there tonight and really get aggravated when I see people using the equipment and not wiping it off before and after working out. I wish people knew everything you could catch by not wiping the equipment. Edge should pit signage on all the equipment.

Terrible Customer Service , Have Been Trying To Cancel My Membership Due To A Injury Policy Says Provide Doctors Note ( I Did ) They Emailed Me Back Saying I Was All Set Turns Out To Be They Cancelled The Wrong Account and Kept Charging Me Then Emailed Me Saying My Doctors Notes Are Not Enough To Cancel Membership Even Though I Provided 1 Years Worth Of Doctors Notes. Went In Person Talked With Manger Devin He Said I Would Be Refunded Within 3-5 Business Days , That Never Happened, Every time I Go To Talk With Him He Supposably Is Not There Left My Number Various Times To Hear Back From Him Or Any Manger Have Never Recieved A Call Back. Even If You Provide Evidence To Get Out Of Contract They Will Not Honor That. This Place Is A Scam

Negative experience: Gym is too crowded every single hour of the day. Equipment is always missing due to being stolen. Manager doesn’t allow staff to change TV channels. No one wants to watch bowling and darts while working out.

They give you a run around about canceling your trainer and than I tried to cancel my regular membership and they're telling me I have to have a doctors note to cancel.!!!! I've been to other gyms and they canceled it Right away. This gym was the biggest mistake i ever signed up for .

Fantastic experience: Love it here! It’s all of the amenities for me: the cinema, a women’s designated workout space, Edge Kids, sauna and fitness classes. I haven’t even had a chance to try the massage chairs, tanning or shake bar yet. Highly recommend The Edge in Attleboro

Negative experience: Unfriendly policy's to the consumer as usual with gyms. Double the price of planet fitness with the same machinery very few extras. It's also twice as packed at all hours. Always locks you into a contract and you need a blood test and your first born child to cancel. The equipments clean but the staff just stands around. Not worth the cash or hassle.

Fantastic experience: I used to be a member but I moved and there's no EFC where I am now, but honestly the best gym I've ever been to. Tons of equipments in perfect condition and a lot to do. Friendly and professional staff. The only down side (which is not the establishment's fault at all), sometimes the Men's bathroom stalls can be a hot mess. Like fr people grow up and clean up after yourself man. No amount of muscles can help you attract someone if how you leave the bathroom reflects your own home. Besides that I love Edge. I wish there's some establish in New York.

Negative experience: Extremely poor experience with this location. The facilities are high quality but the staff was unprofessional, passive-aggressive and blatantly rude, specifically Serena. Serena, who I believe is the manager was an extremely difficult person to communicate with, she made me feel unwanted, unappreciated and uncomfortable in continuing to use this gym. You can put lipstick on a pig, but it’s still a pig. There are lots of great gyms locally that treat people like people, I would recommend anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: This place is great but I do have some gripes: The first and most important is that they say they're 24 hours but they're really not. They close 9PM Monday and Friday and 7PM sat and Sunday. So they're really only 24 hours on 3 weekdays. Anytime fitness for example is actually 24 hours. You can go literally any time of any day. Like any other gym, their memberships are nearly impossible to cancel and they lock you in for annual contracts. They don't really highlight that up front so be careful. Third, their classes are mostly strength and aerobic focused. There's only a few yoga classes per week and they're all at inconvenient times mostly during the workday. Fourth, the equipment can be hit or miss. There's several cable machines that only pull half the weights that's advertised. That is - if you think you're pulling 40 you're actually pulling 20. They're not super quick about fixing their equipment either. Finally, this gym seems to attract a lot of yappers. Groups of people that sit over a machine taking up a lot of space and just yap ️for 30 min and then take turns on the machine. Here's the pros that still make this gym a 5 star experience for me: The place is very clean. Janitors have done a pass every time I was there. People do mind their own business for the most part. There's a cardio theatre with different movies every day! The parking lot makes it very easy to park and it's right by a market basket and a home Depot so it's easy to run errands as well. The memberships are priced reasonably and at the highest tier you can bring in unlimited guests which is honestly my favorite thing. Some gyms get stingy with guest passes but that often works against them. They have all kinds of equipment, mostly new because it's a new gym. There's 6 squat racks and 5(I think benches). Even if they're occupied one will be free if you wait. There's more than 4 cable machines and so much cardio equipment you'll never have a problem.

Fantastic experience: Honestly it's a great gym. Staff is super friendly and on point. The personal trainers there are great. I highly recommend Cheavinn. He has helped me on my path to getting healthy and in shape. He is a very knowledgeable individual and you can tell he studies his craft. But I'm sure all the trainers there are at that same level. But I would just rock with Cheavinn. Like I said he's a master in his craft and will most definitely help you hit that fitness goal and get you right no matter if you are just getting into it or been at it for awhile and need some guidance. Shoutout edge fitness the only real gym in the attleboro area.

Not only is the gym crowded 24/7, they coheres you into an iron-clad contract full of minute contingencies for a 1-2 year term full of unprecedented fees. Even after I’ve served my year sentence to this prison, they still are charging me and not allowing me to cancel or refunding me the money after my term has ended. For the love of God, READ these contracts in detail and don’t allow the salesperson to sell you into this falsified ideology lacking any of the actual experiences that occur within this hell-hole of a company. They incorporate scam sale tactics to force you into buying bigger packages, that offer the same basic services. DO NOT go here. I repeat, DO NOT go here.

Fantastic experience: A great gym. Staff is very friendly and proactive. Place is spacious and nice to circulate with plenty of equipments. My personal trainer Kevin is awesome! He is full of energy and it’s always a thrill to train with him. He always gives advice and corrects my concepts. I started to see very good results after a month and I am thrilled about it. Kevin is always available to answer with details all my texts, questions, and suggestions. He uses every minute throughout the session to encourage, support and push me to the best performance. A great pleasure to be with him.

Fantastic experience: I transferred from Planet Fitness Black card to here and couldn’t be more content the sauna and 24 hour weekday hours are what sold me, people here seem to actually have goals and drive to better them selves, the vibes and energy couldn’t be said about my previous gym. ALSO the night time cleaning crew DOES NOT PLAY they get down and clean tf out of this gym every night, along with having plenty of disinfectant wipes around in hand for personal wiping down of machines. Shout out to the two cleaning guys at night and the woman as well!! they deserve their recognition.

I have 2 gripes. 1: Alot of members don't even attempt to clean the machines after use. 2: Members like to keep up on social media instead of exercising which makes wait time for a machine longer. Some of them will give you a weird look if you ask to use the machine while they are scrolling.

Fantastic experience: I have been at the Edge for about a year and a half. I was on track and working on my goals and then life got in the way and I fell off. I started working with Cheavinn towards the end of this summer and he has encouraged me to slowly get back on the right path. I started taking his classes more frequently and then his one on one training session pushed me in the right direction with my nutrition and goals. He knows when to back off so I don’t get hurt and also knows when to push because he knows I have it in me. He frequently checks in to see how I’m feeling and what I’m doing outside of his classes and sessions so he can continue to encourage me and push me. He definitely has been a great addition to the Edge team!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Edge now for just over a year and from the minute I walked in there for a tour I was sold. I signed up and quit my previous gym that same day. In February I started working with a personal trainer, they’ve all been great (and every employee I’ve talked to has also been pleasant), but I never been pushed more than I have with Cheavinn. He’s been a huge influence and consistently positive in helping me better myself and reach new milestones over the five months I’ve worked with him and I’m certain he will continue to be. I would, and do, recommend Edge Fitness to anyone who asks.

Fantastic experience: It is a good gym with good equipment, and nice employees that work there. My trainer is a great guy Cheavinn, he makes sure that I’m leaving sweating and exhausted but also pushes me to keep going with my weight lose. Positive experience: Coming from the Edge Warwick location… the grass area could be larger. Along with having the larger weights closer to that area as well. Would definitely love them to open another location half way to Foxboro to free up the congestion in the weights section.

Negative experience: I recently visited this gym and unfortunately had a very poor experience. The staff were extremely unprofessional and seemed disinterested in helping customers. Additionally, there was a long wait for machines and a lot of them were broken or not functioning properly. Overall, I was disappointed with the level of service and equipment available. I hope the gym can improve in the future to better serve its customers.

Negative experience: Scam of a gym, keep charging outside of contract. Will be filing a complaint with attorney general of mass. Gym sends you to corporate and corporate is useless. Do not sign a contract with these frauds.

Negative experience: Dont even waste your time getting a daily pass. The staff here act like teenagers, even the ones that look older. I was only there for one day, and I couldn't even ask them a question because they were all huddled up like a high school clique lol I made eye contact with multiple, but they failed to come up to me. Wasn't even worth asking the question I had about memberships, I just left. Also why was is super crowded at 12:00pm? I had to wait for machines

Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure of meeting and training with Rayven DeOliveira starting May 1,2023. Today is October 2nd and I have lost over 25lbs. I started unmotivated and pessimistic. His personality, patience and motivating spirit helped me really boost my confidence and strength. It’s amazing to feel comfortable and like what you see when you look in the mirror and receiving compliments. I couldn’t have done it without his support. Fantastic experience: A year ago a friend asked me to climb Mt Washington in New Hampshire but I didn't make it to the top. When Edge Attleboro opened I joined and started training there with Jon Zapata. In addition to overall improved fitness, last weekend I made it to the top of the Mountain with several others - including Jon. Much thanks Jon!
