Negative experience: Por años mi esposa viene a este gimnasio.....pero el servicio de cuidados de niños que ofrecen es el peor ...... Para que ofrecen cuidar a tus hijos mientras tu entrenas si no lo pueden hacer.....tienen a 1 sola persona al cuidado de más de 20 niños de todas las edades,,ella no se da abasto para todos....encima tienen ventiladores enchufados al alcance de los niños,,ya se imaginarán que desgracia puede pasar.....la chica encargada del cuidado para exaltada ,malhumorada e irritada....y encima el manager en vez de resolver el problema y poner a alguien que la ayude.....se exalta y no muestra el mínimo respeto por el cliente y mucho menos por los niños......así que piensen bien antes de llevar a sus hijos alli.....y a ellos(Gimnasio) no ofrezcan lo que no pueden dar.....

Fantastic experience: I had an excellent experience with customer service at Atlantic Fitness. I lost my bag, and Melina, one of the staff members, went above and beyond to help me find it—even after her shift had ended. Her dedication truly exemplified great customer service. I highly recommend this place for its excellent service; it makes you feel safe and comfortable. I'll definitely be a regular at Atlantic Fitness!

Fantastic experience: Just went to a new class today of Cardio Mix by Andrea and was very pleased with the instructor and her methods! It was a great workout!!! Plan on coming back for her future classes and will tell my friends!!! It’s obvious she is a very well trained instructor who is genuinely interested in our needs!

Fantastic experience: I took Andrea's Cardio Mix Class today and loved it. Combination of the Stepper, Kettle Bell and some dance moves. Fun class and a great Workout. Different than the Norm and much more enjoyable. Please keep this Class, not boring at all.

Fantastic experience: I attended cardio mix today at 10:30 with Andrea and it was the best class I’ve ever gone to at Athletica! I hope you’re going to add more of the cardio mix classes. Andrea is the best teacher!!! I attend her silver sneakers class every Wednesday and I like it also, but the cardio is so great!

Negative experience: The MANAGEMENT has zero customer service ability. And, worse, the after 10 PM the MANAGEMENT and front desk staff is ABSENT...GONE! So then rowdy gym members have a private party in the gym at your expense! One person will bring her boom box and play it out loud. Another will start a fight. MANAGEMENT won't do anything about members that cause issues breaking the rules. Oh, and their camera systems either don't work or are insufficient, so don't expect them to have proper surveillance of their own location.

Fantastic experience: Awesome revenue of work out equipment, facility cleanliness is very good, swimming pool exceptional, sauna and whirlpool excellent and if you are into self motivational work out, theirs a section for boxing and other self promoting exercise endeavors !!!!!!!!!!

Negative experience: Horrible management, when you try to cancel they start making these rules( come in person , 30 day notice etc) to enforce you to pay an extra month. Also those maintenance fees they hit you with two months in. Just not worth it. Many better gyms around, i don’t recommend joining.

Negative experience: I’ve generally had a positive experience at this gym and believe this is the best gym in Coral Springs, but I encountered an issue recently that made my workout uncomfortable. I understand that the gym’s policy allows members to live stream their workouts, and while I respect that others may want to document their fitness journeys, I found it challenging to complete my workout without unintentionally appearing in someone else's live stream. What concerns me is not the recording itself but the fact that the live stream was capturing the entire gym, not just the individual’s workout. This widespread coverage felt intrusive and made it difficult for me to focus on my routine without worrying about ending up in the background of a live video. I would strongly encourage the gym to reconsider how this policy is implemented. Perhaps designating specific areas for filming or ensuring that cameras are directed solely at the individual recording could help strike a better balance between respecting the privacy of all members and allowing those who wish to record their sessions to do so.

Fantastic experience: Very nice, fully equipped 24 hrs 2-story gym, pool and spa. Punching bags and speed bags. Very clean and with sanitation stations all over the place. Daycare available. ☯️

Negative experience: Unprofessional Behavior from Gym Manager I recently had a deeply disappointing experience at Athletica Coral Springs. My 8-year-old daughter and I arrived at the gym, only to find out that the daycare was unexpectedly closed for the day. Understandably, this was inconvenient for us as we had planned our workout session accordingly. However, what truly shocked and dismayed me was the behavior of the manager. As I was leaving, the manager followed me out and instead of offering assistance or understanding, they began to mock and belittle me in front of other members. Their unprofessional conduct left me feeling humiliated and disrespected. Furthermore, it's not the first time I've encountered this manager's negative demeanor. He consistently exudes bad energy and often wears a mean look on his face. This is not the kind of attitude one would expect from a manager, especially in a place meant to promote health and positivity. As a paying member, I expect to be treated with basic courtesy and professionalism, especially by someone in a managerial position. It's disheartening to see such behavior from someone representing the gym. I hope this incident serves as a wake-up call for Athletica Coral Springs to reassess their customer service standards and ensure that all members are treated with the respect they deserve. I urge potential members to reconsider joining Athletica Coral Springs until they address this issue and demonstrate a commitment to providing a positive and respectful environment for all.

Fantastic experience: Great gym! Clean, modern and good equipment that’s useful and not gimmicky. The only thing I would change would be the lights down stairs. The dark red and blue lights aren’t sufficient. It’s too dark and puts a damper on the mood, especially for those of us who workout at night. White bright lights boosts energy levels. Other than that, great gym.

Negative experience: Should be -1 rating. The hamdicap lift for pool has been broken over 2 years. They have done nothing to fix issue. Time to call an ADA lawyer.

Fantastic experience: This is my favorite gym. The staff is really polite but my favorite associate there is the maintenance guy. I believe his name is Estaban. He’s always smiling, very courteous, and this guy works nonstop always going out of his way to make sure that everybody is taking care of And the place is kept in tiptop shape very clean. Thanks to him.. He is truly the reason why I go to this gym and I hope he never leaves

Negative experience: This gym is horrible. I came with a guest pass last night because my gym was closed, and i instantly regretted coming to athletica. The equipment is horrible, i used about every back machine and they all felt and moved horribly. I left the gym after about only 15 minutes of being here and did not even get a work out in. I felt like i took some bad acid or was in a fever dream in here it was terrible i will never be coming back. The vibe in the gym was also beyond terrible, i’ve never felt this way in any gym.

Negative experience: My husband and I signed up for this gym only to use the pool. The pool area has poor ventilation. The smell of chlorine is unbearable. We leave coughing and with our eyes burning. The customer service is hit or miss. Some of the staff is not personable. They charged us $10 for not putting the towels back. Nickel and dimming.....

Negative experience: This gym by far is the most unprofessional gym that I ever encountered. I paid for a one year membership. They charged my card ever month the price of the one year membership, $299. It took over 5 months for them to reimburse me. At first my bank reimbursed me, but this gym sent a letter to my bank saying “ that’s the correct price and terms of my contract ( every month $299)”. I called countless times and was promised it would be reimbursed. No one ever followed up. I had to threaten legal action and still they barely lift a finger to address the issue. This place is being operated by a bunch of unprofessional kids. I ask for the regional manager to contact and she never did. I spoke with Jackie Terron countless times. After consistently contacting her she finally returned the funds. Needless to say, I canceled my membership once it expired. No customer should have to go through what I went through . They charged a total of $1,196 to my credit card and took months to refund me.

Negative experience: If I could give 0 stars, I would. I don’t live in the area full time but I would visit this gym when I’m in town. I made effort to cancel my account SEVERAL times before I left, each time being told that they would leave a note for the manager. I never got any additional communication so I assumed it was fine…that’s until I started receiving collection calls! The manager never followed up on my cancellation request and my account was sent to collections. The staff at this gym incorrectly advised me on membership policy and made no effort to remedy the situation. So annoyed and disappointed.

Fantastic experience: The child care staff and Ms. Jeanette Jordan are great with the children and it’s a bonus to have this service at a gym. My family recently joined and we’re happy so far; they offer a lot you can do there from swimming to different exercise classes. Someone is always cleaning or staff are busy tending to clients. There might be a few small things that can be improved but overall it’s been worth it.

Fantastic experience: The absolute best part of this gym is Miss Jeanette Jordan in the kids club. She is so sweet and reliable! She has been in that building over 25 years and has watched all 4 of my children in the daycare since they were infants. She has kids she used to watch bringing their kids now. She LOVES the kids and that is so rare to find in a gym daycare. We love Miss Jeanette!

Fantastic experience: My family of 4 (2 kids, 2 parents) have been members of this club for years now. We are very pleased with the equipment and staff. Can't say enough about Jeannette in the kids' club daycare. She is amazing. Always happy with a big smile on her face, she truly loves all the kids. It's always a pleasure coming to this gym. It's my happy place! Thank you to all the staff for all you do!

Fantastic experience: Love it here! Always clean, and never too packed even at ‘busy’ times. It’s very spacious and my favorite area is the HIIT room downstairs where I like to practice my calisthenics, stretching, and mobility techniques. Plus, there is a huge steam room and a huge sauna, indoor pool and jacuzzi. You really cannot ask for more. A+++

Negative experience: Loved the space and equipment. But things started going bad. Problems with the after hours and constantly looking for dumbbells. The new EOS gym has more space, equipment and don't have to spend time looking for the dumbbells because they are where they should be. It's well managed and always clean. Happy to be at EOS!

Fantastic experience: Best gym I've been a member of. My son takes swimming lessons here with british swim school and spends time in the daycare while I work out. They have many machines, classes and turf so you're likely to find anything you're looking for.

Negative experience: I recently canceled my membership at Athletica gym in August 2022 in person. Despite this, I was billed in October and November of that year. When I contacted the gym about this discrepancy, I was told it would be corrected. It is now January 2023 and I have yet to see any refunds. To make matters worse, I visited the location today and was assured that I would be cc’d in an email to accounting so that my money could be returned. However, I have yet to receive this email. It is clear that Athletica gym does not take their customers’ financial concerns seriously and I would not recommend this gym to anyone, save your money and frustration and head over to EOS fitness instead.

Negative experience: the gym equipment is nice but the main reason i used to go is the steamroom. now the steamroom is always dirty and smells like sweat. it seems moldy i just wish they would clean it well a couple times a day or something but it smells more like once a week

Positive experience: Staff is so friendly and helpful. Michael is always making the best shakes with my weird smoothie combos. I've noticed that's the gym's dispensers are sometimes empty but they are always on top of it.

Fantastic experience: Was at eos the last 2 months and came to Athletica and man what a difference. Such a better pump, better machines, never as packed with young kids holding up machines and just talking. Definitely will be staying here and getting a better lift from now on! Fantastic experience: I attend Zumba classes here with Susan Ortiz on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:45 p.m. It is always a good time she always has very excellent choreography, and I love going to a class where the instructors love what they do and that's exactly why I enjoy myself so much.

Negative experience: This gym have a problem with their billing process and you will go into collections. If you don’t pay them they were harassed you about a payment. It’s a gym membership. How does this fall to your credit? How do a lawyer call you about a gym membership payment. They are very unprofessional when you call them. I spoke with someone name Jackie I think that was her name please be aware of their payment process.

Fantastic experience: This gym checks all the boxes for not only serious gym rats, but for newcomers beginning their fitness journeys. You'll always feel welcomed, from the friendly staff, who always greet you with a smile, to the maintenance crew, who work tirelessly to keep the gym in immaculate condition. I would like to add that I go in the mornings, which coincides with the staff and maintenance crew working to keep the place in tip top shape. The gym has all the equipment, machines, and weights you'll ever need (and then some). From the various classes offered, punching bags, and equipment I can't even name, I've yet to utilize all the amenities in this gym. Receptacle's containing sanitizing wipes are conveniently placed throughout workout areas, and highly utilized by gym goers (a plus, if you are a germaphobe). Small and Large towels are available for free, just make sure to return them in the machine downstairs (or you'll be charged). All the lockers are embedded with 4 turn digit key locks to use if needed. The few times I have used the Sauna, Steam Room, and Whirlpool, I've never had any problem or issues (They have a pool but never went). TV's are placed in various spots, if you’re trying to catch a glimpse of the news or whatever in between your sets (great during the world cup). The various cardio machines have tv and streaming capabilities as well. Now every gym experiences broken machines from time to time. Normal wear and tear on machines will eventually lead to this, but I personally think the staff generally does an excellent job at expediting the repair process and getting the machines back in operation. Finally, there are ample options available at the front desk, for your nutritional needs. Yes, they have your bottled preworkouts, protein shakes, and water bottles. But they have also got a menu of custom protein shakes, which they make in the back. If you are trying to "Avoid" dirty gyms, weights not re-racked, lack of equipment/machine choices, lack of amenities, and an unfriendly staff, look no further than this gym.

Positive experience: Love this gym. My wife love the Zumba class during the week. Friendly staff, nice daycare, some kids working out can be rude especially when they drop the weight. Since they young i curse them since they so annoying but overall I recommend it.

Fantastic experience: If you’re looking to move your body while having a good time, Susan’s Zumba class at Athletica is for you!! She’s one of the best instructors out there, making her classes fun and encouraging everyone to be themselves and enjoy to the fullest! I go to Athletica just for Susan and her Zumba class. 10/10 would recommend

Negative experience: I have been training at gyms for the past 15 years. I have trained at LA Fitness, Crunch, YouFit, Retro, and several locally owned gyms. Out of every gym that I ever trained at, this gym sits at the bottom of the list. Let’s start with cleanliness. This gym is an absolute disaster. The locker rooms are absolutely disgusting. There is always trash thrown everywhere. And you can almost guarantee that there will be no paper towels. And not only in the locker rooms, but the gym floors as well. Just go ahead and take a tour yourself, you’ll see. Grade: 1/10 Now let’s talk about equipment. Weights are never put away. You can never find handles for the cable machines. You can never find the dumbbells that you want because they are scattered all over the gym. Machines will be broken and not fixed for weeks. Grade 1/10 How about atmosphere? I would train every morning at around 4 AM. And at 4 AM in the morning, the music would be absolutely blasting. Not only would the music be blasting, 95% of the time it would be trashy hip-hop, Reggaeton, or some other random music that makes no sense for a gym. Grade: 0/10 And good luck canceling your membership. I sent email after email with no reply. I stopped in the physical location and still, nothing. I had to log onto the app every day just to be sure that my account was canceled. Grade: 0/10 I could keep writing on and grade more areas of this gym, but I think I’ve made my point. If you join here, be prepared for what I have mentioned above.

Fantastic experience: My favorite class at Zumba is with Susan Ortiz. Her energy and glowing smile brings so much to my workout. She always makes me feel welcome to her class. ATHLETICA is lucky to have this instructor at their gym.

Fantastic experience: I Love this gym! I appreciate that they constantly have people cleaning and putting weights away. I also love that I can pick up a protein shake after my workout. Shoutout to Sonia for always making the best shakes and for greeting everyone with a smile!

Negative experience: Decent gym with a variety of equipment and machines. It can get busy at peak times but with the variety and number of machines you likely won't have to wait. My issues with the gym stem from the patrons. Very few patrons rerack weights where they should go. There are often dumbbells and fixed barbells scattered randomly, plates left all over the floor or on machines. I witnessed someone load up 405 on a trap bar, fail to deadlift it and walk away leaving it loaded. The general disorder means people assume you aren't using plates near you and take them without question. There are no shortage of plates but c'mon, its not hard to ask if someone is using something at their feet. There is a serious lack of etiquette at this gym. Other than signs posted that say you must rerack your weights, there seems to be minimal effort from staff to enforce any rules. You can definitely get a decent lift or cardio session in here but prepare to endure the chaos.

Fantastic experience: i love this gym! open 24/7, clean, huge, and Sonia at kids club takes great care of my babygirl whenever i bring her along. always a smiling face, sweet, caring , patient with children and one of many reasons i love this gym! always look forward to it.

Fantastic experience: I joined the club 2 years ago to do Zumba. Susan Ortiz is an amazing instructor. Her positive vibes and endless energy have made going to Zumba a blast. Fantastic experience: Very good overall. I am here on a week pass for $15 while visiting and I cannot complain (LA fitness is $20 for a DAY pass). A lot of the clients are young but still have good gym etiquette, unlike Youfit/Planet Fitness. One of the only 24 hour gyms around.

Negative experience: This place has gone down the drain. Thankfully there are a million other gyms less than a mile away! Would Def bypass this one!

Fantastic experience: I usually go to la fitness but wanted to find a gym that was more attentive staff wise and cleanliness wise. came in and did a walk around yesterday evening and was very impressed with the variety of equipment and overall cleanliness of the gym. It didn’t feel like anything was overlooked. David gave me a walk around and explained the benefits of the membership and all the perks included. He was a very helpful and answered all my questions.

Negative experience: The gym itself is not that bad, it really just got ruined. It’s full of kids who are mostly there to socialize and leave weights anywhere. I’ve heard they’re opening one in Sunrise. Planning to go there once it opens. This one used to be good. Hopefully in a few years when these kids graduate high school things will go back to what it used to be. This place is way too packed.

Fantastic experience: I love this gym and have been going there since they first opened! They offer different amenities, locker room and the workout areas are always clean. The other gym members and staff are all courteous/friendly. But what I love the most are the Zumba instructors here!! I try to catch Susan, Gigi, Kecia and Maribel's classes as much as I can! They make working out and dancing so much fun. The classes are always full of positive energy, motivation and a good time! I can't help but smile in every class and have bonded with so many of the other students. Highly recommend this facility for anyone no matter what your fitness goals are (weight loss, muscle gain, bodybuilding etc...)
