Positive experience: Nice gym equipment and front desk staff unfortunately ruined by a "trainer" laughing and joking with her clients the whole time I was there. She could be heard all the way across the whole gym. Of course she was having her clients go place to place (even to the other room) so there was no escaping their ridiculousness. Meanwhile your clients are using terrible form and you're too busy laughing and joking, and having a good ole time, to notice. This is why people don't think Personal Training is a "real" career. No respect for anyone else in the gym that actually wants to concentrate on what they're doing. A shame, because of that I would never step foot in this gym again. Was thinking of joining. Someone might want to talk to her, I'm sure you know who I'm referring to.

Fantastic experience: Wow!! What a find this gym was, and a VERY pleasant surprise from the chain-gym's like LA etc... the staff & owners are very polite and helpful. A week pass was $50 and hours start at 5am. The equipment is TOP NOTCH & not one piece was broken or worn out. The place is spotless and ALL equipment put back and organized. My only wish is that all gyms were like this. Keep killin it Gravity Fitness!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a member for just about a year now and I’d say it has been worth every penny so far. Always very clean, very good assortment of equipment, and very nice people. The only thing I’d say would make it even better is a little later closing time like either 10, 11, or midnight 7 days a week and an earlier open on the weekends. But thats just personal preference. Highly recommend this gym regardless!

Fantastic experience: I've been a member for 4 years and my honest opinion is that it's owned and managed by a great team. There is NEVER a piece of a equipment with an out of order sign. If so, it's fixed within hours/days, not weeks. It's not a fancy Equinox gym with a bougie spa and tons of group fitness classes, but it's CLEAN, never super crowded, affordable, flexible memberships and members are very friendly.

Fantastic experience: This spot isn't usually too busy, even during the commuter crowd. Tons of machines, 3 different Dumbell locations each with with plenty of benches. 4 squat (bicep-curl) racks. They've got a turf section. Cleaning, sweat, and shower towels provided also provide yoga mats. Not included in the membership price are tanning beds and a salon (by appointment), but they're there. It's a pretty decent spot, not too pricey as gym memberships go. They keep this place very clean, everyone's jacked and everyone's nice. A lot of personal trainers work here too, if you're into that sort of thing.

Fantastic experience: I would be doing this place a disservice if I didn't review this gym. They're a very easygoing gym to work with. I've trained at the original Metroflex Arlington where Ronnie Coleman works out so trust me when I say I know the best in the business when I see it. The equipment is not only comparable but this gym is an upscale version of Metroflex. Definitely worth the $75 for a month long pass if you're here for a few weeks.

Fantastic experience: Was visiting the area for some R & R and decided to check out this gym. I must say that I was very impressed with how clean the gym was, friendly staff, and lots of equipment. Loved the community feel and that staff greeted each member by name. It was nice to see Gravity still asking members to “grab a cleaning bottle and wipe off equipment before and after use” as most of the bigger chain gyms quit doing this. Kudos to you all! Definitely would encourage anyone in the area looking for a great gym or visiting the Atlanta area to check out this gym. You won’t be disappointed!

Fantastic experience: Best gym in the area, hands down. Plenty of equipment, and not overly crowded even at peak times. Best of all, an extremely welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to keep coming back. Can’t recommend it enough!

Fantastic experience: If you are new to the area, or are thinking of changing gyms from one of the big chains, look at Gravity Fitness. This is not your typical gym, this community is that, a community. Everyone here wants to see you succeed in your fitness journey. I work out here 4-5 times per week, and I love it. Each day I come in, I see at least 3 people that I know, from the gym. The trainers , way too many for me to name, are amazing, dedicated, and have your fitness goals in mind. My trainer, Seth, has been training me this time for about 7 months now, and the results are amazing. Seth is just one of many, that will show you what you need to know, teach you, laugh with you, and challenge you. Gravity Fitness is a small, extended family. There is no attitude, drama, or any of the other weird stigmas that I, and most of have encountered from other commercial chain gyms. And no pressures you to join. Come check it, and maybe I will see you there! 10 Stars if I could give them 10 stars!

Fantastic experience: I started going to Gravity a few weeks ago and it's been great. Everyone is very nice and friendly but there is no aggressive upselling. The gym is spacious and clean. There are 4 squat racks and they are rarely all occupied at the same time, and while there isn't a dedicated deadlift platform there is ample open space to set up deadlifts. There are also plenty of benches, two dumbbell areas, and all of the usual machines you would expect.

Fantastic experience: Gravity is Great I have been a member for many years.They do a Great Job insuring the safety of the members.Upon entering your temperature is taken and you are given a towel and cleaning solution to clean the equipment before and after use.The best thing is MASKS ARE REQUIRED.

Fantastic experience: Very impressed with the cleaning/disinfecting of the gym and the attention to keeping patrons safe from the recent covid-19 epidemic. I have been hesitant to get back out (and my only outings now are to the gym), however, the practices at Gravity Fitness put me at ease. Social distancing is maintained with the equipment placement, temperatures checked upon entry, patrons given disinfectant to clean equipment before and after use, the masked staff constantly wiping down the equipment and weights, and there is a precise system of rotating items to avoid cross-contamination. Most patrons are wearing masks (and all respect social distancing), and there is even a time of day in which all are required to wear masks if that makes you more comfortable. I have been a member of Gravity Fitness for two years and I love this place: the set-up, the friendly staff, the excellent trainers, and the family like environment where all are welcome. In addition, I have been very impressed with them taking serious precautions to keep patrons safe.

Fantastic experience: I worked out at this gym for several years under the guidance of Aaron Pols as my personal trainer. The ONLY reason I no longer visit this facility is because I sold my condo around the corner and moved to Norcross. Both the staff and the members are the most patient and kind gym goers I've ever encountered (WAY better than those I have to deal with at LA Fitness now). I want to congratulate the new owner and he's only made positive improvements that I'm sure all members are grateful for. If you need a personal trainer, I highly recommend asking for Aaron Pols. Under his guidance, I transformed my body into the best shape, and physique I've ever been in.

Fantastic experience: Joining Gravity Fitness has been a very good decision. The gym is very comfortable and well equipped, the staff is very nice and professional and also they have taken all the precautions regarding the pandemic.

Fantastic experience: This is the the best gym in Atlanta. It has everything you could want or need for a great workout plus the staff are very friendly and helpful. What I love most about Gravity is that even though it's a nice sized gym with lots to offer, it doesn't have the commercial, overcrowded and impersonal feel of gyms like LA Fitness. The owners are on site and available and Gravity is sort of like a big family. There is also a great group of trainers available and they don't require contracts like LA Fitness. Now, during the Pandemic, Gravity requires masks, has distanced the equipment, provides everyone with a spray bottle and towel to clean off the equipment after each use, and limits the number of people who can be in the gym. It all works out great and I feel safe working out there. Co-owner Aaron is a caring and knowledgable trainer who has led many improvements to the gym since co-purchasing it recently. Gravity really embraces the community and has become Atlanta's #1 gym.

Fantastic experience: Gravity is a hidden gem (Gem. Gym. Get it?). Tucked away in a small commercial park, this gym has all of the equipment I've ever needed as an aspiring competitive fitness athlete: high quality squat cages, quality pec decks, and the exceedingly rare lat pullover. In my experience, the gym is never that crowded, even at peak hours, and the membership is extremely straight forward and affordable.

Fantastic experience: Mike the owner is fantastic! Came in from out of town and he was extremely friendly and down to earth. The equipment was spaced apart where you don’t feel clutter and everything was new. The locker room was very clean as well. Fair pricing too! Highly recommend for a gym if you’re from out of town or even a local.

Negative experience: I'm out of town/country looking for a gym for me to train. Read some good reviews about Gravity. They got all the equipment you need to get a good workout done. They have two weights lifting rooms. The one with the dumbells feels very dark because of bad lighting. It also smells a bit. They wanted to charge me double monthly fee because i was from out of town and couldn't do a long term membership. That didn't feel right to me so i went out to search for another gym.

Fantastic experience: Great alternative for LA Fitness at Ansley!!! I only needed a 2 week membership until my school gym opened up again, but if I didn't have a school gym at my disposal I would be a member here. If you pay for a year it ends up being the same price as LA fitness. Even better, because no initiation fee. They have all the free weights, machines and cardio equipment PLUS equient like foam rollers and feet glider things that LA fitness doesn't have. And they have Cpncept 2 Indoor rower, not the crappy Matrix rowers LA Fitnesa has. Usually not packed either, even at peak hours. All the amenities and a small friendly staff. And lots of parking! This place is great especially if you don't like crowded, mainstream, corporate places. Support your local private business!

Negative experience: Terrible management and ownership, who refuse to honor contract provision 9, which allows immediate cancellation when "substantial" changes are made to gym. Recently rejoined and was told steam room would be reopened, then informed weeks later it would no longer be available. Owner refused to speak with me, having a mgr. refuse to let me out of contract, insisting I pay 60 days. Incredibly unreasonable, rude. We will be going to court if they ask me for one cent.

Fantastic experience: Best local gym with the best trainers for every level, just getting in shape or training for competition this is the gym for you. Great prices, staff, and the owner is super friendly.

Fantastic experience: Gravity is by far the best gym in Atlanta! I have been to two other gyms in the city and none of them can equal the knowledgeable friendly staff, the immense options of free weights and machines, or the amenities offered. The trainers at Gravity are top notch and professional. I also like that a majority of the attendees are there to work out, not just socialize. I have been attending this gym for over a year and I have no plans to switch-- despite the fact I commute from the east side!
