Fantastic experience: It's the best GYM in the area! It's not actually Buckhead it's more like West Midtown.. The premises are clean, and the GYM is well equipped. Trainers are knowledgeable, and the staff is really friendly. I recommend it.

Fantastic experience: I’m a mildly competitive bodybuilder and this place has everything you need to get as big as you want too. Dumbbells up to 95 lbs; good machine selection; and operating hours that can’t be beat. Just stopped in on a day pass, but it is currently 330pm and the place is not crowded at all. Hidden place great for meatheads

Negative experience: UPDATE: went in person to comfirm you received my cancellation and was told by your employee you received my letter but the owner hasn't come in for months to open the mail. I'd give these dudes a zero if I could. Total scammers. DO NOT join this GYM. You won't be able to cancel your membership. They sent my account to collections even though it's current. Their phone number doesn't connect to anyone. Lame response that I'm not a member.
We do not have a member by this name. There are many ways to cancel and you simply won't find an easier cancellation anywhere. A membership is physically unable to go to collections if current.
Negative experience: Initially, I had no issues with this gym. However, after several months of paying for a trainer without receiving one and encountering unresponsive staff who repeatedly promise to call back but never do, my patience has worn thin. Even visiting the gym during business hours has yielded no results. Consequently, I am considering canceling my membership due to the lack of communication and accountability.

Negative experience: BEWARE. I have been going to this gym for over a year and it was purely out of convenience. It has the basics, but as far as gyms go, there are far better out there, especially for the price per month. The bathrooms aren’t the most hygienic; though they did do an upgrade and fix the lockers but the gym needs an overhaul in its entirety. As for the memberships, they offer a lot of options. Most of these membership options involve you giving them your account/card number to which they auto draft from your account. When I signed up a year ago, I wanted to pay month to month without being bound to a contract. (Or so I thought). I paid manually (through the app or sometimes at the facility) but when I noticed I was paying too much, especially the ridiculous fees to maintain a gym that isn’t truly maintained, I decided to cancel. This is where I had the biggest headache. When I approached one of the managers with one of my latest bills, she explained that it was the gym fee on top of a late fee. I took care of this on the spot, though I asked to cancel my membership. She directed me to their third party payment service (ABC Financial) to get details on how to cancel. I called them and there are loops to hop through in order to cancel. So, if you want to cancel in person, that is NOT an option. On top of that, while I was trying to figure out how to cancel, they hit me with more fees. ABC financial sent me back to them and Workout anytime sent me back to ABC Financial. Long story short, they were all avoiding me…probably to nickel and dime me as much as they could before I left. Frustrated, I went back to Workout anytime to see if I could clear all this up. The girl at the desk wanted to help, but she just didn’t know. She called the owner to ask about all of this….meanwhile she takes the call to the back room, which makes me even more frustrated and now suspicious. The owner apparently asked WHY, I was leaving the gym, and my response was that I was moving. After the response, the girl relayed to me, FROM the owner, that there was nothing he could do and to call ABC Financial. At this point I’m over all of this. I called ABC Financial, and explained this to them…and then they hung up on me. I’ve washed my hands of all of this, I am just writing this to warn others to avoid the headache of dealing with this gym, management, and owner. TO THE OWNER OF THIS GYM, before you respond to this, do better. Stop nickel and diming your members, especially when the gym is NOT up to par.
Will, if a member is wanting to cancel we want to know why. Perhaps its something we could help solve or improve something. You signed up for a month to month agreement and have always been able to cancel with a 30 day notice. I'm not sure why you are thinking you signed anything different than that. We do all we can do to make cancelling as easy and also fool proof as we can which is why cancellations are not done verbally at the club. You will find this to be true at most any gym you go to. You can cancel online, you can cancel through the app, by emailing ABC who handles our billing (all gyms having a billing system), or mail. You were never getting billed more than what you signed up for, the issue was that your payments were coming back returned for insufficient funds so you were paying the NSF fee in addition to your monthly dues. It appears as though ABC has waived several of these for you in the past. When you initially spoke to ABC you were requesting your past due gym dues to be waived so they directed you back to the gym as they don't handle that. We are not able to waive gym dues and the NSF fees are handled by ABC (and not one penny of them go to us) so we directed you back to ABC for those. This has no bearing on you cancelling, it's answering your request outside of your agreement. When we were not able to waive your past due balance you threatened to leave us a bad review and when on with ABC you hung up on them. We care about doing right by our customers however threats of bad reviews to get out of a balance are simply not something that can or will change the outcome of your situation. We hope you'll reconsider your review and wish you all the best in your future fitness.
Negative experience: I've had a membership to this gym for 7 months now and I regularly go about 4 times a week, so I feel my experiences here are consistent and it has not been good. **Equipment** It is a smaller gym, which is not inherently a bad thing, but they are very limited on equipment and benches, so even when it gets a little busy there is a wait on equipment. The equipment is also very old and shoddy. The spotter stand for incline bench is completely loose and extremely dangerous. The cables are all worn down and look like they will snap at any moment. **Facility** Secondly, there always seems to be a problem. One week the ac will have stopped working. Another week there is a huge water leak pouring down from the ceiling. At one point they shut the gym down outside of regular hours to renovate for 3 weeks. I work night shift and can only work out early in the morning so I was out of luck there. The last straw for me was when the men's room toilet flooded and was spewing feces water all over the bathroom floor. The stench alone was enough to make me sick. **Vibe** The overall vibe is a lack of management. I always rerack my own weights, but there is blatant disregard for that and weights are left haphazardly everywhere. On top of it all, I sometimes work out at night due to my work schedule, and there are homeless people that somehow make it into the gym and sleep on the hydromassage machines. The management seems to not care enough to service the issues. For what I am paying, I can get a much better gym experience from a different gym.

Negative experience: Their cancellation policy is utter garbage! I tried calling the billing team to cancel and all I got told was “you’re to send a certified mail with your intention to cancel”. All they are trying to do is juice you more for the money! DO NOT JOIN. It’s cheap but it ain’t worth it.
Hi Rohit. There are a variety of ways to cancel your account. Most people find going on to the website or thru the app the most convenient. However you may also send Abc Fitness an email or mail in a letter if you choose. You must initiate one of these methods to cancel your account or it will remain month to month as you originally set up.

We are making upgrades to the gym and hope you understand there isn't a perfect solution as we want to make the gym the best place it can be and at the same time provide you the best experience possible. We posted that we would temporarily need to reduce down to staffed hours and an estimated completion date rather than closing completely to try to accommodate our members. Unfortunately we ran into a few unexpected hiccups in the construction process and it did take just over 2 weeks rather than the estimated 1 week. We did continue to post updated expected completion dates as we had that information. Thank you for your understanding and patience.
Negative experience: When I first moved to Buckhead in 2021, this was my first gym. I loved the convenience, affordability, and the fact that it was 24hrs. I didn’t have any complaints. I moved and went to Lifetime in Sandysprings. When I came back to this gym, things changed. When you walk into the gym, the first thing you’ll notice is the smell… now, a lot of gyms have a sweat smell. That’s not a pleasant smell either, but that’s not the odor I’m referring to. This odor is putrid like garlic+sewage+sweat. And when it’s hot inside but I will say, the longer you spend inside the gym, your smell receptors become acquainted with the scent. Lol Now on to the straw that broke the camel’s back. I realize how little the management cares for the customers. I just renewed my membership and paid for a whole year. And not even a week after, on March 29th, I go to the gym at my usual Time before sunrise, and I’m unable to check in. Turns out that they’ll be doing construction for a few days and won’t be 24hrs until April 5th. No announcement, email, call, text… NOTHING. I was just at the gym the day prior and there wasn’t even a warning notice or anything. But cool. I accept it and show up in the evening when I have time around 6:30 for them to tell me that they’re closing soon and that I need to rush my workout. After showing up that morning to my time being wasted, and now I have to rush my workout… ANNOYING but I still didn’t complain and show up a little earlier. But when my schedule did not allow me anymore, I missed the gym for a few days. April 4 comes along and I’m inquiring if I will be able to come on the 5th for my workout early in the morning. Nope. It’s been postponed to April 11th… no warning whatsoever. I would have shown up on the 5th looking STUPID. but okay. Still not complaining, I accept. The 11th comes along and I call and ask, guess what… it’s been postponed to the 15 and that it’ll be DEFINITELY done by then. Not only that. But I asked him why when he told me it’ll be done by the 11th. This man tells me “I never said that it’ll be done on the 11th”… lol. Okay. Now today is the 15th. I came to the gym at my usual time in the morning. And guess what?!? I don’t usually write reviews that are negative but this was warranted. Their lack of communication or concern for their customers show how little they care. I paid for a year, but I’m definitely considering going elsewhere now because if I’m paying you, the least I’d expect is some respect. Update: They’ve been opened and the smell hasn’t been there since it’s been back to 24hrs so hopefully it stays that way. However, looking at the response from the gym… you didn’t tell anyone until you started construction. I and a few others showed up at 5am the first day with a sign on the door stating there would be construction. Also, the only way I determined updates was through calling. You didn’t email or call to let me know anything. So unless I call or show up to the gym, that’s the only was I got updates.

Negative experience: This place really doesn’t deserve any stars because of their refusal to stop billing me for personal training services that I cancelled over 5 months ago. This facility is individually owned and they seem to not understand doing what’s right. It’s unfortunate that I am having to get my attorney involved to resolve this matter. Please be aware because I would hate for others to experience what I had to go through.

Negative experience: Been trying to cancel for years, nobody picks up the phone, have wrote numerous messages on the locations website to cancel but keep getting chard for a personal trainer that switched training dates out of my availability.

Fantastic experience: Good Small Spot, Love the convenience close to my home. NOT like LA, people go in, workout, and leave. BATHROOM is dated, needs major renovation, could be cleaned more often on a regular basis, i find the weekends are when its lacking this. Other than that... good spot

Negative experience: Do not start a training program with this gym. They make it extremely difficult to cancel. I’ve talked to 3 different employees about this matter and each of them have told me there is nothing they can do and that it’s the owner and contract based. I have sent in the certified mail letter that they ask for and still get charged for a service I no longer receive. This place is shady I would not recommend it.

Fantastic experience: Not as large as others but definitely provides all the equipment needed for a good workout. Equipment is in very good condition. Front desk staff always cordial and welcoming.

Negative experience: Horrible gym. They make it difficult for you to cancel. They are severely understaffed. I will never sign up again. I ended up building my own gym in my home, which has much better equipment as well. The owner/individual running the gym seems to be all over the place. They do not communicate effectively. Stay far away from this gym. Horrid.
Michael we literally have the easiest cancellation process. You actually go online and cancel your membership yourself. If you prefer canceling a different way we have other options, you can send an email to the billing company or you could mail a letter however most people find that logging online and canceling it themselves is most convenient. Looking into your account it appears as though you had an account with us and closed your bank account and stopped coming shortly after your payment went past due. They attempted to contact you via text, phone, and email for several months to help you update your account but got no response and eventually your account went to collections. Regarding staffing we have not been understaffed for over a year. Please reach out to us and we would be happy to try to assist you with your account.

Michelle,Cancellations are not handled by the owner or the club staff. You wanted a refund because you didn't use your membership and didn't cancel it. You cancel your membership yourself thru the website. You chose to freeze your membership for 6 months. It was clear it was $5/month for the freeze and your regular monthly dues would resume after, unless you extended your freeze. You paid the $5/month for the 6 months and your regular membership dues resumed as usual. A year and a half later you contacted in saying that you filled out a cancelation form at the club and cancelled 2 years prior, demanding a refund. The club has never had cancellation forms and cannot cancel your membership but you also did not cancel - you chose to freeze. You could have canceled at any time however, as with any gym, we are not able to refund someone because they didn't use it.
Negative experience: Scammy. Trying to cancel in December while I owe no dues and they are trying to charge for the month of January. Can't use the gym and haven't been able due to recent disability. Stay away from their scammy practices.

Fantastic experience: Nothing short of amazing location, I have traveled to a bunch of work out any times because of my job and this is by far one of my favorites, they have just about everything you would need for any routine. The regulars you show up in the morning from 5 to 8 are also really nice folks and many of us know each other on a first name basis
Hi Lakezipper3, rest assured we haven't gotten rid of the supine bench. A part broke a few days ago making it unsafe to use so we had to temporarily take it off the floor. The repair guy came out today to diagnose it. As soon as they are able to get it repaired it will be added back. We apologize for the inconvenience. In the meantime rest assured that we agree that it is a great piece of equipment and will have it back on the floor asap.
Positive experience: *Update* I have been back several times since my review 7 months ago and have noticed a stronger attention to detail on the cleanliness of the men's locker room. Joined today and the men's locker room is disgusting. Has strong fecal/mold odor. It makes me wonder who is in charge of facilities maintenance and whether they are properly cleaning and sanitizing things.

Negative experience: Joining this gym has been the worst experience of my life. They make it impossible to cancel your personal training commitment and even after I jumped through all of the hoops to cancel my they are still charging me for personal training 6 months after I cancelled. The number on there website and Google doesn't even work anymore. This is a terrible terrible business.

Negative experience: I dropped by today for a tour...looking to switch from a competitors gym. The gym itself wasn't up to par...but the employee, incredibly pushy. First, he wanted me to sign in with info just for the tour. Not good but not a deal breaker. After the 5 minute tour, the guy that's been there 2 weeks pressed me to sign up today. I said no...I want to check out the other W.A. gym I'd be going to as well. He pressed more, offering half off on the sign up fee...today only. I declined and said I'd come back next weekend to sign up...if the other W.A. was good. 10 minutes after leaving, an unknown Atlanta number called me. I never answer unknown numbers. I googled it...it was that gym. Not sure what they wanted since no message was left. High pressure tactics and calls like that are unprofessional and turned my maybe into a no.

Negative experience: Very difficult to cancel. I've had membership at another location and they immediately cancelled my membership upon verbal request. But this location made me write a cancellation letter, then send it as a certified mail it to the gym. They wouldn't accept that I just bring the letter to them. So I did as they asked, even though it was very inconvenient, Then several months later, I got notified that my account was past due. Their billing department is outsourced to another company, who is in the fine print on the contract. So I had to send another letter to the third party company and pay penalties. Also, they neglect their equipment.
Hi Ashok. We try to make our cancellation process as easy as possible where you have the option to cancel online yourself, send ABC an email or send a letter. We do no do verbal cancellation since it is not a reliable method of cancellation. However, reviewing the notes on your account we will reach out to you to get more information to see if we can assist. Regarding equipment everything is maintained and in good working order. It appears you haven't been in in some time and going back a ways we did have a few items where parts were back ordered but that has not been the case for quite some time.
Negative experience: 7 months later- Update: the gym itself is good and exactly what you need for a routine. The folks who make it a regular workout place are great and I still feel safe and welcome. The thing that isn’t great is the ownership to their employees. They’ve lost two great people in the time I’ve been going there because they won’t hire additional desk people. Aka - one employee is meant to work 6-7 days, check in people, train individuals, sell memberships, and clean the whole place. If you want to sign up for personal training, don’t. The trainers are great (in the past, I’m sure the next ones will be too honestly) but they won’t last because this business isn’t built in a way that allows a healthy environment for the employees from what I can tell. I’ll keep my regular membership, but I won’t do training any more. Original - Just joined and I’m extremely impressed so far! Virginia & Erica have been awesome helping me figure out my goals in a realistic way while also encouraging/pushing me (but not in a bad way…) Clean gym, good people, 24/7 which I like and good facility!
Hi Tracy. We're glad you have liked the staff we have had. You obviously have developed a personal relationship with them, however with that, you only know the pieces of the picture you've been told. You yourself have employees so I'm sure you understand. I will try to professionally respond as best possible. In order to provide you a nice gym and good service each individual has to generate business and they are given training and opportunities to do this in different ways. This is clear from the interview process all the way through ongoing training and communication. A business cannot succeed hiring more people without each person generating a self-sustaining about of business. No one is made to work 6 days a week. We have provided the opportunity to make more money if they want to work more hours and THEY chose this and could have chosen differently at any time. No one is made to do it all, and all was not happening. Every person on our team is responsible for generating business. If someone is too busy generating business we can always hire additional people for cleaning, training, etc. We have tried to be flexible in allowing people to provide value in different ways as we have increased our base pay significantly in the last couple of years. We are glad you are staying with us as a member and should you decide you would like to make use of one of our trainers we are confident you will be happy with them as well.
Negative experience: DISGUSTING FACILITY!!! Do not sign up for a membership here. There's multiple ceiling issues including there being a HOLE in the ceiling with exposed insulation, an obvious health risk for anyone who doesn't want to inhale fiberglass. They force you to submit a 30 day notice to cancel membership, so cancel the day you sign up to avoid an annual fee AND month charge. The equipment is outdated and broken; better equipment can be found at cheaper gyms. Sanitation is nonexistent. There are no: paper towels, sanitary sprays, mats, water bottle stations. The only hand sanitizer they have is in a pump bottle. The equipment is cluttered together, and there's no space to stretch. Learn from my mistake and pay the extra money to find a quality gym.

Negative experience: I have the Premium Membership and this place is God Awful. It should be called Don't Workout Anytime HERE. I brought a friend to work out here and was completely embarrassed. The women's room is apparently almost as disgusting as the Men's Room. I've been to Dive Bars & volunteered in homeless shelters that were cleaner. I'm not just saying this place is disgusting. I'm just saying that I caught Covid after working out here and it feels likely that it's because of the lack of cleanliness. Then, when I went in person and tried to bring it to the owner's attention, she "was busy and on a very important call" and walked into her office. All I can say is that I hope she was on a call with Servpro because that please needs an industrial cleaning. 1 out of 5. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. It left me disappointed that I have my Membership here. That's how bad it is. Post response to the Reply: Hi, Respectfully, I let the manager and owner know about the lack of cleanliness a month before and nothing was done. Further, I was absolutely NOT rude to the staff in attendance as they informed me it was their 1st week. They certainly had nothing to do with the ongoing issues of this place so I would never be rude to someone new and just starting & learning a job. I waited patiently and politely for several minutes to speak to the owner about my grievances but she chose to ignore me for a phone call and *walked away* instead of dealing with a customer with a Premium Membership and access to Workout Anytimes all over the country. Nothing in my post even now is rude, nor is it in anyway false or untrue. Everything I said is entirely based on Real Events with pictures as evidence, my Experiences with this location, and with this particular owner based on their specific actions. I'm not saying "Don't go to Any Workout Anytime". I'm saying Don't go to THIS Workout Anytime because it is UNCLEAN. I'm also saying that based on everything that happened, I'm no longer even excited to have access to the other locations because MY PERSONAL Experience was so Bad that it left ME completely Disappointed and Embarrassed in Workout Anytime as a customer. I'm also saying that now as I have been reading your other reviews you've known about the lack of cleanliness but haven't done anything about it for months. There are PLENTY of professional cleaning services you could hire and they're reasonably priced. Contact your Corporate Office and ask for some financial help to offset the costs if that's what it takes. Your location reflects poorly on them-- to the point that I AM now canceling my Membership. Bob,We were happy to address any concerns you may have. You were speaking with the manager and saw the owner on a phone call and demanded to speak with them. They briefly interrupted the call to let you they'd be happy to speak with you as soon as they were off the phone. You were aggressive and rude, asked if the call was life or death, and demanded they get off the phone to speak with you right then because you wanted to cancel. The manager was brought back in to assist you and the owner had to finish the call they were on.
Fantastic experience: Conveniently located in the Howell Mill area. Lots of parking available outside. Best part is the gym has 24/7 access which is a huge plus imo ⌚ Although staff and trainer hours do vary so check that before going.

Fantastic experience: I love this gym in the city!. It has all the equipment to get a amazing workout. It also fits with my hectic schedule since is open 24/7 to members only VIP. They also provide a one time free workout with a personal trainer to see if your committed to your goal. So if you're looking for a gym that is focus on schedule this a great gym to think about specially this days.

Negative experience: Posted hours says they are staffed at 10AM on Sundays. Showed up at 10AM on Sunday and waited for 10 minutes, no one to answer the door, and no one answering phone calls (straight to voicemail).

Unfortuantely like many businesses right now we are struggling with having enough staff so we have some staff helping out that typically work at another location. We waived your service and late fees to help you out. With your agreement being month to month it's just a 30 day notice to cancel. Your payment that is in 6 days would be your last payment and you will still have gym use for that last month. Negative experience: Gym is near by which is convenient but the music is just far too loud. I have some hearing issues from the military so it’s painful to hear loud noises. So if I go to this gym I wear double hearing protection (doesn’t really work because the music is that loud). I opted to drive further out now to go to a gym with reasonable music volume. Doesn’t even make sense that the music is that loud…everyone Literally has their earphones in so no one actually listens to the music…

Negative experience: Went to try but membership and people working out about 10 pm at night. Door locked so I stood there waiting for employee or anyone to let me in so I can join. I stood there 10 min. People saw me and obviously I wanted to come in! I gave up left. If it's that way then they don't want business Apparently they not taking new members. It looked real small. Who knows so went elsewhere.

Positive experience: The place is located in Kroger shopping center & Walmart, we've been here 6 years, we love the area. Please make sure before you sign up, understand lingo, look for hidden fees, maintenance, etc. The prices online are different, when you go in. They pull out a chart, and it show fees based on year contract cost. The sales person who helped, didn't offer a month to month option, nor mention pay $35 later as stated on website. We'll have a family member go back in & we'll do update, if this has changed.

Negative experience: Late post: Late Post: Customer Service is everything! The best thing we liked is being close to home, however convience isn't everything, when it's measured up to quality. Cumberland Mall - Planet Fitness here we come. Transparency is KEY! RED - Not having pricing information for potential customers to review on website. They want to get you there, hopefully into a contract & based on reviews it's hard to cancel membership & get stable personal trainers whose consistent. You can NEVER get anyone to pick up phone. It's not super busy where everybody is training with clients. I went in to take a look around. The guy with crew cut hair cut(Coach) on shirt, didn't even acknowledge me. He moved away to allow someone else to assist me, YET keeping watching me. (WEIRD) Note: Every customer that walks in needs to be acknowledged by staff - no ifs, ands or buts Equipment is packed in, definitely small & needs to be updated. Carpet needs to be updated and replace.

This would mean we can look at your specific experience to improve the experience for our members and guests. For anyone who ever calls and we miss you, please leave us a message as we are likely on the other line or with a customer. If you leave us a message we will surely call you back. It sounds as though you came in and looked at the club but are not a member. We strive to greet and say goodbye to every member and guest. In this situation it seems as though we missed the mark. It does sound as though there was some confusion. Nonetheless, we didn't make you feel as important as we should have and we will certainly highlight the importance of this in our team meeting. Our prices are clearly listed on our website. Anyone who says they have any trouble cancelling their membership didn't attempt to cancel their membership. We have literally the easiest cancellation you will ever do. You simply go online and cancel your agreement yourself with just a 30 day notice. If you don't want to do this you can email our billing company, or you could mail your cancellation. Most people choose to cancel online because it's so convenient. You mention this was a late review. We just recently upgraded and replaced 95% of our equipment and are in the process of refurbishing the floors and gathering quotes to expand the gym into some unfinished space. Negative experience: I began my journey with Workout Anytime at the Hudson Bridge location. The energy, staff, and equipment truly helped me leap start my fitness journey. I recently (and shortly) joined the staff at Workout Anytime Buckhead, and the experience was completely different. The owners of this particular location, as well as, the Town Center and Marietta South location have a very abrasive business style which ruins the enjoyment of fitness. They are very pushy with sales, not personable unless sales are made, and not genuine in their interactions with individuals (staff and customers). The interaction with the owners often included a condescending, belittling, and unsympathetic energy. It completely changed my view of Workout Anytime. A view I have changed with family and friends at other locations, and felt lead to share here. The facilities themselves are well equipped for fitness. The staff is friendly and willing to resolve matters in a positive way. A way in which past issues aren’t held over your head, but accepted and moved on from. It is important that the type of people who receive your payment are revealed as well. I anticipate the response from the owners to this post will be similar to others on this review page. It will include a deflection of their actions, a belittling of my experience, and a performative resolution that won’t be followed through on. It is these very experiences that create challenges when supporting small businesses. They have the benefit of hiding behind a corporate name in which most members will never know the owners, but out of respect I will not release their names. I just advise to be cautious of presenting issues with membership at the listed locations. A disagreement can quickly lead to disrespect.
Unfortuantely we made a hiring mistake. This quickly became apparent and any former employee writing a review obviously only confirms this. Hopefully a potential future employer will see this and avoid wasting their time and money.
Positive experience: This gym has been great, both in terms of equipment, location, and hours, for my fitness needs. I've been coming for ~6 months, and in that time they replaced a large amount of the equipment which was great. I had to take one star off for high and unexpected fees though (the website mentions a $39 fee 45 days after joining, I have no problem with this). My issue was that I owed ~$120 upfront when I first joined (for $15 a month membership). These fees seemed excessive, and more importantly, were no where on the website best I could tell. I also came in for a trial day, but was basically told I needed to sign up before I could try the gym first. Gyms are notorious for aggressive sales and untransparent fees, so I'm disappointed but not surprised. They also require a two months notice to cancel, feels illegal (FTC states (Oct 28, 2021 Press Release) it should be as easy to cancel as it is to sign up, and I didn't have to give 2 month notice to join....) If I had to nitpick, I'd always say that the wifi never seems to work for me, the bathroom/locker room needs a remodel, and some fans would be really appreciated especially in summer. Overall I'm a happy customer though after the initial sticker shock.

Negative experience: This place has rats and is overall really disgusting. Employees will make fun of what you wear so that’s cool. I’ve also watched trainers chase after grocery shoppers next door - weird! Y’shaiah introduced himself to me a year ago as the club trainer! Never saw him after the first session! Refused to return calls or emails but we’re happy to charge me every month! Don’t use this as your gym! Unless you enjoy roaches in your gym bag! Cause this place has those! The mens locker room is infested with rats too! One shower one bench and the lockers are slimy. Stuff here has never been wiped down.

Positive experience: This gym is located on the rim of downtown and is easily accesible off of Howell Mill and I 75. Super convenient neighboring shots including large Kroger and a stones throw away from Walmart and a variety of food choices & other and stores. Inside a good mix of aerobic equipment (including Rowling and stairmasters), study machines and free weights and benches. Nicely appointed gym and attractive price point. Will have funds to get summer athletic gear when you peak the physique. I have had a wonderfully client centered experience with the new management and staff. It has helped to kickstart me towards new goals and given me incentive to break this plateas feeling of late.

Negative experience: Absolute scam. Decided to switch gyms after 2 days, and was told by an employee that he had spoke to the owner about canceling my membership and that there was a different way to cancel it, and was then lied to and misled every step of the way. After being told to wait up to 30 days for a refund, I found that not only would I not be receiving it, but I am still enrolled as a current member and was just charged an annual fee that I am sure I will be scammed out of getting back. Do not bring your business here period.

Negative experience: Cancelled my membership with them last year and did not owe a balance. They have since switched management and claim that they don’t have a cancellation on file and has sent a false collection to Net Collections where they are trying to place it on my credit. This company operates in bad faith, just read all of the BBB reviews and this is one of their many ways of stealing money from former customers. I am also going to be reporting them to BBB and CFPB for bad practices and trying to steal money and mess up past customers credit. Bad business.

Negative experience: I use the Marietta and Kennesaw locations primarily, but work in the city, so wanted to like this location since I would use it on my way home, but was very disappointed on my visit there. Firstly, the facility felt dirty and dated compared to the others I've been to. The locker room and bathroom area was large, but in poor shape. The equipment is dated and the spacing is odd (the barbell chest press benches for example). Seems to be lacking some equipment as well-- did not see any EZ bars, which should be standard in that kind of facility. It's sad how bad this location is, especially since it will be my home gym next year when I move to the area...
Antonio, we see you were in one time a few months ago. Please let a staff member know while you are at the gym if you have any concerns so we can immediately and specifically address them. We purchased the gym that needed a lot of work a few years ago. We have put a lot of money into it, with plans to do more, however its a process and we have had to weather and rebuild from COVID and the same staffing challenges that all businesses have right now. We do plan to expand the gym into a large area that is currently sectioned off. In this ever-changing covid situation and economy we have decided to have additional staff on hand to clean, keep sanitizing wipes stocked for our members (instead of spray bottles and rags like kennesaw and marietta have), and have extra security in the plaza. We hired an additional cleaning person about the time your were in. We do have a couple of ez curl bars - one with the bicep curl and an extra bar. You just load the free weights on the ends. We do not currently have space for the preloaded ez curl bars and rack I believe you are referring to. When we have more space it is the first item on our list that will be added.
Positive experience: I have been a member for a while, and have watched the staff change a lot. In the beginning it was so clean and convenient. I’ve reached out over email a week ago about the cleanliness of this location. The bathroom is absolutely disgusting. I’ve avoided using the restroom here because of how nasty it is. Between no trash cans for lady products to just urine etc left in the toilets. I pay for full access. The tanning beds are broken besides one. I only go hours the gym is open, and there have been sundays I’m unable to use the extra stuff I pay for. I have waited 5-10 mins to be let in the one tanning bed which is fine I’m not pressed for time, but the staff member addressed me by asking “why didn’t you just get the keys and do it yourself?” I love the gym but unfortunately have watched it fall apart, and nobody seems to be able to get back to me on these issues to resolve the problem. I am aware that this effects many other members and not just me!
Tiffany,Thank you for your review. We received a message from you prior to your review and attempted to reach you for more specifics however the number we had for you was not a working number. Our manager indicated he caught you when you came in and spoke with you directly. I agree that the club was not to our standards and we were working to resolve this. We, like many businesses over the last year, have had to adjust to evolving challenges in running a business as well as staff. We have a newer manager that was adjusting to the cleaning schedule and other duties. To immediately resolve the situation we hired someone who is solely dedicated to cleaning. There should be sanitary boxes in each stall, however we did find that one stall was missing one, this is being added. Regarding tanning: It is definitely never appropriate for it to be suggested someone let themselves in the tanning room. We have re-coached everyone that regardless of the circumstances, we are in the business of servicing our members and any message other than this is not what we strive for. We do have three tanning rooms, however with the current demand for tanning Workout Anytime calls for one tanning room. The market's usage doesn't warrant more than one bed so the other beds are being phased out and we are working on other amenities to utilize this space. We hope you have seen an improvement over the last couple of weeks and look forward to your feedback.
Negative experience: If I could give this place 0 reviews I 100% would. I signed up for a membership being new to the area thinking they had the necessities any normal gym would have. Shortly after I was talked into doing a body evaluation which led to a sign up for "personal training" for the next 5-6 months. The person that was promised to train me only trained me 3 times until I got a new trainer because he was only in "sales" and not supposed to be actually training me which was never told to me pre signing up for this. From there I got 4 new trainers who had to learn about my body type from scratch and figure out what workouts were supposed to work best for me which also never happened they just gave me random workouts to take up time. I was also promised meal plans and at home workouts which never actually came my way. When I asked about these said meal plans and at home workouts I was sent a photo of some random meal plan that was most likely found on google images or Pinterest (something I could easily do myself). Meal plans and workouts are supposed to be catered to your body type not just random plans that "work for everybody" especially when you are paying nearly $200 for personal training. For the duration of this training, I was cancelled on multiple times. The last trainer I worked with was probably the best trainer at that gym and the only good thing about it. At the end of the training I had paid all my fees (or so I thought) until I got a notification that I was charged for the training once again. Upon asking about this charge I was told that it was written in our contract that we had to mail in a cancellation letter which you would think as an establishment you would remind your customers that this reoccurring charge is going to happen unless you send in the letter. I was never reminded nor did my trainer even know about this letter. I asked multiple times to speak with the gyms Corporate office and I was essentially ghosted. I would absolutely never return to this gym nor would I recommend getting a membership here ever. Absolute disappointment to say the least.
Hi Ida. We are looking into your training what you are indicating you ran into as this is the first we are hearing of there being any issue in the 6 months you have been a client. We have very little turn over in our training department so we will look into your sessions history in greater detail as we have not had that many trainers unless a trainer was temporarily out and filling in from another location. When you signed up for the monthly plan you very specifically elected for it to go month to month until you cancel with a month's notice. After we are able to get with our team on this we will reach out to you directly to address your concerns more specifically.

I informed the staff I was signing up for a month-month because I was only going to be there for 2 months or so for work, but I was still charged an annual maintenance fee. Even after I canceled, I was still charged a month extra. I didn’t even bother to dispute the fee. SMH* I know one thing tho; they will not see me there again! Save your money & go elsewhere!
Paul, we do not have any record of you in our system. Perhaps you joined a different location.Regarding general membership terms. There is no cancellation fee. It's just a 30 day notice and you have use of the facility for the last 30 days you pay for. The price sheet and agreement both specifically detail and require an additional signature for both the month to month and annual fee, that way there is no confusion and it's not just another part of the agreement that could get missed. We wish you the best with your future fitness endeavors.
Positive experience: *editing based on response from owner below Hello Sarah, I apologize for not leaving a comment with my previous review. In all honestly I drafted up a couple of responses when I originally left this but ultimately decided to delete them. I have updated it from 2 to 3 stars. My review was ultimately about communication during the initial responses to COVID. - First, I felt a little upset that my billing continued throughout the closure but I understand that expenses continued and ultimately chose not to ask about this. - Secondly, I received a total of one email notifying me of the new processes and procedures regarding the cleaning process and how initially appointments were required. There were detailed outlines of sanitary changes as well as an appointment system laid out to restrict too many people from being in the gym at once. Again, no big deal there I understand things need to change. However, that was the email I received and nowhere in it did it mention a mandatory mask requirement (which, again I understand is something you have chosen to keep the customers safe. I want to be clear that I am not arguing against the mask policy in any way) - The day I left this review, I attempted to go to the gym for the first time since the pandemic began not knowing of the mask policy and without one. I walked in, got my temperature taken, and then was told of the mask policy by a member of the staff who wasn't wearing one themselves. (The same person who took my temperature while not wearing a mask...) Looking around the gym, I saw several attendees not wearing their masks properly and I questioned what the staff was doing to enforce the policy, and was told that as long as I had one then it was ok regardless of how it was being worn. I offered to wrap my towel around my face like a bandana and was told that wasn't sufficient. Several times I was told I could purchase a mask for a dollar (I didn't have any cash on me at the time) and it felt like it was another way of getting money from me. I think it was handled poorly, but I also was upset not knowing about this prior to using a lunch break at work to get my workout in. Ultimately, 2 stars was probably too harsh (I've changed it to 3), but I think that it's not worth going to the gym at this point until restrictions can be lifted a little bit more. Unfortunately, that means I'm paying a membership fee monthly without getting much use of so I need to make the decision if it's worth it to continue or to come in one last time to cancel my membership.
From the owner: Kyle thank you for explaining your experience. First I want to apologize that your experience with us was less than positive. We were one of the first clubs in the country to reopen so we had to figure this entirely new realm out ourselves while also in the spotlight. All in all I think we did a lot right but we are not perfect. Specifically in regards to the interaction you explained in the club, we handled your situation poorly. That's not the interaction that we strive for or feel is ok. Some of our team that had trouble adapting to their new responsibilities and we should have parted with them sooner. We tried to coach and work through the challenges rather than lay someone off during a pandemic. At the end of the day we wanted to know we did all we could and it was on them if they decided not to. That individual is no longer with us. We sent out initial communication about new protocol and we have added and adjusted things along the way which we have posted and communicated at the club level. We made the decision that the general sentiment from our members and the community was that masks being required made most people more comfortable. We have tested out new procedures and sometimes we've had to adjust them. We didn't have others to follow on this and there is changing news, data, and mandates constantly. Even the mayor and the governor can't agree. We have gotten a lot of feedback about XYZ corporate clubs sending out emails saying one thing only the next day to completely change it. We did not want to do that. We have tried to take each member and their situations into account and provide a level of service better than the big box gyms. Our approach has been to provide basic email communication and extra communication at club level where a conversation could be had if whatever it was was troubling to any member. Ie: for those who are admittedly opposed to wearing a mask we could refer them to another close location that doesn't require it or we could freeze their account free of charge. No matter what decisions we make everyone has equally valid and completely opposing views that we are trying to balance. About our billing, we stopped our billing and credited ALL of our members accounts for the time we were closed and they were unable to workout. You were billed on March 18th before we closed. You were then credited in April. We would be happy to go over your account with you. With regard to charging $1 for masks. We make $0 on masks. The $1 covers our cost after purchase price, royalties, and credit card transactions fees. $1 sounds like nothing but if you consider that we have many members and if we give out a mask to half of our members that come in, in the course of a month that would be approx. $3,000. We just came off of being shut down where we collected no money but still had to pay the bills. We've had to make many decisions that affect our business's obligation to stay in business for our members and also our family (this is our livelihood). No business can indefinitely operate in the red. So we chose to break even on the masks and hire more staff to clean and expand our staffed hours to accomodate more of our members' needs. When we reopened, only half of our team came back so we worked day in and day out to make sure everything was clean and being done right and then hired and trained additional staff. In a time when many businesses are laying off we are happy to say we added jobs. We expanded our staffed hours for 11 weeks. This increased our payroll costs but we felt it was important in our cleaning procedures and for the safety of our members. Other businesses in our plaza and neighboring walmart were completely shut down by looters. We happily went 24/7 two weeks ago. We will reach out to you directly and see how we can best take care of you with your membership if you are not ready to come back yet. We appreciate you being a member with us and hope you ultimately decide to come back.
Fantastic experience: I’ve been a member here a year and I’m very happy with Workout Anytime. All the machines and free weights I need for workouts. Rows of cardio options as well. Clean, rarely wait for machines, and an awesome crew to help you out when you need training be it new or to freshen up your reflexes routine. Glad I switched. Crazy affordable.

Negative experience: Wish I could give 0 stars. Horrible workout facility. Gym is crowded, messy, not to mention their cancellation terms. You have to cancel 30 days before your next billing period to avoid getting charged. They conveniently failed to mention that during their membership pitch. I was in town for work (just a 2 month assignment) and the last day of my assignment fell right before the next billing period. I tried to call and cancel 3 days before I was charged (3 days before, 2 days before, and the day before), and I could not get a hold of any employees at the gym. Long story short, now I'm back in Florida (where the closest workout anytime is 2 hours away), and I'm paying for services up until May. I'm paying for two freaking months that I'm not even in town. I figured I would at least call in and try to talk with an employee about the situation? Turns out all of their billing is done through a third party system. Literally nothing any of the employees could do. Horrible design. Save your money and buy a membership somewhere else.
Positive experience: EDIT: Since posting and emailing the management at Workout Anytime, they have quickly resolved the issue. They offered full refund and cancellation. The origin of issue seems to be from simple overburden during the crisis, which is rightly understandable. Thanks to Stone for helping me sort out the issue. --- This review is based on the communication and account management of Workout Anytime. I will be succinct. I opened an account for monthly membership in March. I requested suspension in April, which was granted until August, per their management. They continued to charge me monthly. When I attempted contact after realizing this in July, I could not get anyone on the phone or to reply to voicemail. They charged me again in August, so I had to contact my card carrier to resolve the issue. This should not have to happen for me to see a response from management. Small business undergoing a crisis does not warrant lying and theft, and that is what this is. The gym is okay, though.

Fantastic experience: The staff is friendly and professional. Manager, Virginia, is detailed oriented, strongly cares about the facility, and constantly cleans the gym to ensure the safety of it’s members. Sanitizing wipes are stationed conveniently throughout the gym making it easy to clean the machines. The locker room is normally spotless with really clean showers. Staff members periodically check the restrooms for cleaning. I feel very comfortable at this location. Great location with plenty of parking.

We do have a cleaning company that comes overnight and staff that cleans throughout the day. If there is an area that's getting missed we certainly need to pay extra attention to getting it up to standard.
Positive experience: This place is more or less an unbeatable value. You won't find the latest and greatest i here, but it doesn't lack anything in terms of fundamental cardio and strength training. For the price it's basically impossible to beat this place.
Negative experience: Staff doesn't respond to emails, adds ridiculous charges and fees (so you're not really saving any money). Still waiting on an email response after my 4th attempt over some unapproved attempts to try to charge my card.
Hi Trena. You contacted in on an inbound only email so we have tried to reach you numerous times by phone. Your phone has not been in service when we've tried to reach you. We called you again earlier yesterday and were able to leave a voice message. The membership you signed up for is a great value however because it is billed monthly it has a billing date. If your bill is not paid on time a late fee is added to your account. This is virtually the case with any bill. This is listed in your membership agreement as well. We would be happy to see what we might be able to work out to help you with your late fees however this is not something we can do every month so perhaps there is a better date we can move your billing to or we can explore other membership options that don't have monthly billing.
Fantastic experience: Hi My Name Is Troy Apkins I have been a member going on three years...I’ve only been at the Buckhead location for less then a year.. You guys have a winner in a young lady named J’rai her customer service her smile her knowledge and interaction with us. She truly rocks also she’s always with a rag wiping something. I’m taking time out to write this because that kind of service needs to be acknowledged and recognize.
Negative experience: Went into Workout Anytime to cancel my membership but my account was still being charged. When I went into the gym again to figure out what was going on the manager stated that I didn’t cancel it. However, she was the one that I talked to previously to cancel my membership. TERRIBLE customer service and unprofessional.
Hi Courtney. No cancellations are done at the gym and all cancellations are in writing and time stamped. This protects you and the gym. All cancellations are done through the website or via mail if you should choose and you receive receipt of your request to cancel via email. Not only is this a quick and convenient method of cancellation but it also ensures there is no error. Anyone who comes in to cancel is given the cancellation information or you can also follow the instructions in your agreement. If you did not follow either of these then your agreement would not be cancelled.
Fantastic experience: J'rai is phenomenal! I've been training with her for several months now and it has been a fantastic experience. Not only is she an amazing PT, very knowlegeable, caring and great at motivating me, but she's also a wonderful funny and warm person.
Positive experience: Some of the machines could be updated, but overall, I like it. Update at 9:16 pm Nov. 20: I wish the staff (and users) were more consistent in putting things back where they belong after being used. The padding on some stuff really needs to be replaced, as they have holes in them.
Negative experience: Nice small gym. But like the previous owners, they do not do a good job in maintaining their equipment. Too many pads and cushings need to be replaced.

Fantastic experience: Best workout anytime gym I Have even been to. The gym has everything I need. Everything is in place and clean. J’rai is the best. She is funny and really nice person. If I would say what makes the gym good it is because of her.
Negative experience: The worst gym ever. Please do not sign up for this gym. Make sure they read for you each page of the contract b4 you sign. The contract is binding...... I dont have problem with this, but my problem is their gyms are dirty, old equipments, and rude customer representatives. I repeat....do not sign up for this gym
Fantastic experience: most excellent gym, i come after i get off from work, its great having no time restains and not to many members so its great. i do Martial arts, so im able to train and use the whole floor doing my kata. and breathing exercises. and staff J'rai is so warm and caring, with her background in dance she is physicallly ready for any challenge. And she works you out. J'rai Go get em. really a good place.
Positive experience: It's a good commercial gym. Basic gym equipment - free weights, machines,and a fleet of treadmills - with extra amenities in the form of a hydomassage table (wonderful!) and tanning beds. (Not my thing, so I can't judge those. ) It's in a downtown strip mall anchored by a Kroger, so there is ample parking. Traffic on Howell Mill is a negative factor, sadly. They are currently working on some renovations, so be advised.
Fantastic experience: It's a nice gym. Good range of equipment that's always clean. 24/7 literally means 24/7. I wish there were more women at this gym, but it is in Midtown, if you know what I mean. Ppl at the gym are generally helpful and respectful of your space and share machines when it's really full, which is rare.
Negative experience: Even though they show you all the tempting pricing they got, once you actually try to buy it or get there, they includes many restrictions and extra hidden fees and everything. It's not much cheaper than the LA fitness. It is a congested place, but you get the equipment after a decent wait. If you go there at late night, it's fairly open. However their showering area isn't anything nice and clean. Last time I went, they just had only 1 shower in man's locker room
Positive experience: Like that I can get in and out. Gym has all. The equipment that I "need" but not necessarily everything I'm use to. Wish they had a LateralX machine and a steam room or sauna. However, for a discount gym, it's not bad at all. I love that they're open 24 hrs a day and typically all of the equipment is in working condition.
Fantastic experience: I Love this gym! J'rai, the manager, has made so many improvements since taking over the gym. Repairs to the equipment, always clean, good music, TVs that work. I stopped going to LA Fitness and Aspire and only go to Workout Anytime. 24/7 makes it so convenient. Oh! And the Hydro Massage machine. A full body massage with different speeds and intensity. I use it after every workout. And the best leg workout machine I have ever been on. You ride it like a surf board. Hey! You should check this gym out and see for yourself. Kenny
Fantastic experience: I just joined on Saturday and worked out this morning at 6 AM. I am completely satisfied. The place was nice and warm while we had the cold rainy weather. The music was on but not too loud. The other guests were chill. I am coming from a Planet Fitness so these 2 clubs are similar. It is a little more money than PF as far as start up costs but for the money (I opted for month to month $20) it is great. The staff were very friendly and it is only 1 mile from my apt. Winner-winner chicken dinner!
