Fantastic experience: Been working out here for a year now and I love it. Sad I'm moving out of state. Great gym. Love the pool too

Fantastic experience: Staff has been very polite in friendly. Was quick and friendly trying to resolve the issue we had trying to sign up for swimming lessons. The swimming instructors are very kind and patient with the children. We are greeted by a smiling face each time we walk through the door.

Fantastic experience: I do aquatic Arthritis exercise class and just started the low impact aerobics class. I really like both, everyone is friendly and makes you feel welcome.

Negative experience: The Ymca is a good place for the gym BUT if you have a membership the swimming pool should be available all hours this is absolutely ridiculous paying $60-$70 a month for a membership for ONLY the gym. Come on DO BETTER...even for day passes. This is ALL ATCHISON has to offer for children on the weekends unless they go skating. Gotta do better for the residents of Atchison and their families.

Fantastic experience: The Atchison YMCA has been great to use to get back into a fitness routine! Love it because I live out of town and I can get ready for work there, such a blessing!

Fantastic experience: Two squat racks with benches, solid dumbbell rack up to 100lbs, weight machines for all the major muscle groups. Couldn't ask for more! Great place for your moderate-to-advanced weight training / cardio routine.

Fantastic experience: The friendly greeting you receive upon arrival sets the tone for the rest of your experience at the facility. The staff are excellent at finding what you need for your workouts or rehabilitation. I will continue to frequent the YMCA. It's an extension of home.

Fantastic experience: Atchison has the small town feel I like and that translates well into this Health facility. The staff are residents of the city they work in and are usually known outside of work. The amenities are all new and the facility is in great shape. Couple that with a variety of classes and you have a solid organization.

Fantastic experience: My son and I feel welcomed the moment we walk in the door. We are always greeted with a smile and a personal "Hello." Kidzone is a wonderful environment for my son with genuinely caring supervising staff. I know I don't have to worry while I'm busy bettering myself through health and wellness activities. I know if I have questions a helpful employee is nearby with an answer. The facility is decked out with the newest equipment. Classes offered throughout the week fit into my schedule. As my son gets older he wants to be involved many of the youth activities the Y offers. A membership to the Atchison Family YMCA was the best thing we did in 2017 and a tradition that we are excited to continue!
