Our only goal here at Nautilus Family Fitness Center is to help you change your life and become a better version of yourself! For most people, Nautilus becomes more than just a gym - it becomes a lifestyle!
The main reason I come here is because it has a friendly-family atmosphere. The equipment and machines are great, but the employees and members are what sets it apart. Everyone is very nice and makes you feel welcomed.
The Silver Sneakers program is a great way for older adults to get more active and take control of their health. The program offers fun social events and activities to help encourage people to get moving and stay healthy.
Nautilus Family Fitness has been working to change the lives of people in our community and to create healthier and happier lifestyles for over 18 years. We offer nutritional education, workout designs and a comfortable place for our members to come and get healthy!

I come to this gym mainly because of the friendly atmosphere. Everyone here is very nice and makes you feel welcomed. Yes, the gym has great equipment and machines, but it's the employees and members that make it special.
The classes offered are great for weight loss and staying in shape. The instructors are motivating and push the students to do their best, but in a fun way. The classes are challenging, but the students keep coming back because they enjoy the challenge and the community.
Nautilus will help keep me in good shape so that I can continue refereeing football for many years.
I came to Nautilus in order to lose weight. I had been dealing with some life issues and had gained 15 pounds, and I wanted to get rid of it.
I've been to other gyms, but I mostly just used the elliptical machines and fumbled around on the other machines. After six years of being inactive, I decided to take a look at Nautilus. I was impressed right from the start - the staff was incredibly friendly and really cared about the members! My first tour was with Angie, and she talked with me the whole time we took a tour of the gym. We even discussed my hesitation to become active again, because of how high my heart rate gets (in the 180-200 range). Angie was extremely supportive and encouraged me to see a local cardiologist. After my visit to the cardiologist, I discovered that my upper and lower chambers were firing off too soon, so I decided to improve my heart health and join Nautilus. Since I first signed up, Scott (owner) took the time to sit down and create a workout plan that walked me through my goals. Both Scott and Angie were right beside me the whole first week, and they equally watched my heart rate via two heart rate monitors. I have never had such thorough input from the staff at a gym (especially the owner!), who truly wanted to help me obtain my goals and educate me the proper way to use the machines. If you are looking for a gym that wants you to succeed, you should definitely join Nautilus. The whole environment is welcoming and friendly! The vibe is extremely positive - you can tell that Scott and his staff truly care about the members - the vibe is contagious! This was one of the best investments I have made in my health!
A few months before my family and I walked into Nautilus, we were on vacation together. My parents paid for the entire cruise, which was quite a task considering that my family consists of my parents and a total of seven children, all married with their spouses, and a handful of grandchildren.

Fantastic experience: ! Chino's Wednesday Night Boxing class @6:30 pm is an incredible experience! The gym itself is top-notch with its clean facilities, friendly staff, and plentiful equipment. Plus, there are free classes available almost every day. This class is sure to make a difference in your life!
Fantastic experience: This gym is ideal for families; there are a wide range of classes available and plenty of machines and free weights. The equipment is kept up-to-date and is serviced regularly. The other members generally keep to themselves, allowing me to focus on my workout in peace. The gym is kept in a very clean condition.

Fantastic experience: I've been to many gyms across the country. Nautilus family fitness is my favorite. Great staff, great equipment, never over crowded, and very clean. There is everything you need there to meet your fitness goals. Power lifting, endurance, hypertrophy, whatever training is desired.

Fantastic experience: Love this gym! Staff is very friendly and welcoming! I know entering a new gym is always scary and uncomfortable but the staff here makes you fit right in. Plus the nursery attendants are awesome with the kids and my kids love being there! It’s an awesome place to start your fitness journey so definitely come try it out!

Fantastic experience: This is Bill Croom … (not Robin) … but I have been a member of Nautilus Family Fitness Ctr for a loooong time. I really enjoy going there --and I go almost daily. Great staff and great equipment --- but my favorite part of the gym are the classes they have -- especially kettle bells. Super instructors make these classes --- fun and challenging . Do yourself a favor and give the gym a try … along with the classes.

Fantastic experience: This place has the best customer service! I’m working remotely in the area over the next year and wanted to find a gym that I was comfortable working out in during the pandemic. I called around to a few places in Asheboro, but the customer service was less than stellar (borderline rude and definitely uninterested in securing new members). When I called Nautilus, I was really impressed with Angie; she was very nice and extremely accommodating. I went that day and joined on the spot with my mom. The gym is limited to a maximum of 50 people and 45 min workouts during the pandemic. They’ve also blocked off every other piece of exercise equipment to maintain social distancing. Needless to say, I feel comfortable working out there and also grateful for how nice Angie was. I highly recommend giving this gym a try!

Fantastic experience: This gym is absolutely AMAZING. Best gym in asheboro. I’ve lived in asheboro my whole life and I’ve been active since 16. I’m now 21 & I’ve gone to almost every gym around. I would and cannot imagine moving gyms! Nautilus will always be my go to! The gym is very clean, there’s a lot of cardio machines for those who enjoy cardio, and the best weight machines ever. There’s even a hip thrust machine! The staff here is so friendly! Kailey, Angie, Scott, Kengi, Elijah and Samuel are all very friendly and polite! The nursery hours are also the most convenient ever. I seen some crazy negative comments but we all sign a contract and if you don’t agree to it, then why sign it in the first place, right?

Fantastic experience: I have always struggled with going to the gym mainly because I didn't like being the new person working out and surrounded by all the really "fit" people. Nautilus is the first gym I went to and felt comfortable. Everyone there is there to achieve the same goal and there are always super helpful people who don't mind giving you a little guidance if you need it. It's very affordable and has childcare available in the morning and afternoons. I love this gym and recommend it to everyone!

Fantastic experience: Best gym I've been to in town. Great equipment, good sized place. They are open 24/7 even though I don't think it says it on Google but they are. Friendly, helpful staff members. They have a big room full of kettlebells and dynamex balls and battleropes that I love for HIIT style workouts. Lots of free weights. Amazing selection of updated nautilus equiptment and some of the old school machines (which I actually really like). They have childcare and a smoothie bar. A great deal for $20 a month. And no sign up fees. Definitely recommend this gym to anyone that is serious about getting in shape. Even if you're someone who just wants to do some cardio, they have plenty of those machines too.

Fantastic experience: Nautilus is my go-to gym when I need a good all around workout. It's never too crowded and has plenty of machines and weights to go around. But most of all, the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. When I started going to the gym it was to keep myself in shape physically, but as I've gotten to know some of the people who work there and are regulars, I am excited to go just to see people I know will put a smile on my face and inspire me to keep doing more and push myself further!

The owner Scott is always willing to take time to help you with anything. I have been training with Angie and she has completely changed my life I love her so much. Fantastic experience: My son came up to me and asked if he could join a gym. I looked up gyms around my area and Nautilus was the nearest to us. I called and Zach answered the phone. I had him on the phone at least for 15 minutes, my son is only 14 so I did had a lot of questions about the gym,policies Etc. He was very friendly and answered all my questions. I enrolled my son and he liked it since day one. Every day he comes home with a new compliment about the gym,he says that all the employees are very friendly and the owner Scott is super friendly and encourages him as well!

Fantastic experience: A member at Nautilus since 2009. A great variety of classes with excellent instructors. A large variety of cardio machines, weight machines, and free weights. Nautilus is a family friendly environment where all ages, shapes, and sizes can become healthier versions of themselves.
