Negative experience: This place isn't kid friendly at all! Head life guard kept eyeing us down the whole time...told my kids how jump off the diving board, couldn't play in the pool. Everything we were doing wasn't dangerous or concerning! Always staring at us... Even on her break told us not to eat on the picnic tables. We've been coming to this pool for a while now doing the same thing we have been doing, no one said anything. Made my 4 year old cry and he's just learning to swim. Shame!

Positive experience: UPDATE 9/27/2024: The Swim & Fitness center was recently remodeled over the spring/summer this year. The new main entrance and reception desk are  level with the pool and locker rooms now. The lobby has plenty of chairs and small side tables. The main entrance and lobby are all lit with natural light from large windows during the day, and well placed interior lighting in the evenings. The lockerooms and pool are still the same. Everything looks clean and taken care of, and staff are just as friendly as ever. If you haven't been by yet, you should come in and see what classes they offer and take a dip in the pool or sit in the steam room.

Positive experience: Purchased a membership purely to swim. The three times I went, I was able to swim once due to a packed pool. They need to specify better on the website when lessons are held and when kids will be there. I even called them on the phone this last time and they told me it wasn't busy, but when I arrived not a single lane was available. Unless you're retired/unemployed, there are minimal opportunities to get a lane. I think this is how it is at most aquatic facilities in larger cities due to too many people and not enough space. I am really sad because all I wanted to do was swim. The one time I did swim, I felt very uncomfortable due to people staring at me constantly.

Fantastic experience: All facilities are fully functional, including the steam room, sauna, pools, hot tub, and gym equipment. Notably, the steam room is exceptionally effective, and the pool complex features eight lanes and an adjacent pool that reaches a depth of twelve feet, complete with a diving board. The staff and guests are friendly, and the locker rooms are well-maintained. The duration of this favorable situation is uncertain. It's worth mentioning that local residents can access these facilities for a mere six dollars.

Negative experience: DO NOT go here if you are an athlete looking for a place to train/swim. The entire facility is filled with old men who use this place as their personal sauna/steam room to hangout and stare at any women that step foot in here. The men's locker room is constantly occupied by old naked men who use the facility as their own personal bathroom; they shave their entire bodies at the sink, use the hand dryers to dry their clothes and just hangout doing nothing fitness related. I have no clue how most of these people are even allowed in this place, they do not swim, they do not lift, and have no business even being there. The pool is disgusting; its always cloudy, filled with little kids, filled with hair and anything you can imagine. The bathrooms are always filthy. THE CLIENTEL HERE IS TRASHY. The only good thing about this place is that the staff is very friendly.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to this place for over a decade. Good for the whole family for swimming. Also a really good gym that is way cheaper to use compared to a normal gym, even if smaller in comparison. They also have a basketball place that's pretty good, as well as sometimes badminton in there, I would recommend bringing your own basketball though.

Fantastic experience: Been here for years. Love this gym; exceptionally friendly staff, great sauna, hot tub and workout facilities. One of the few facilities with enough gym weight to challenge me; 900 lb. Leg presses on my 60th birthday????.

Positive experience: Nice facility with eight 25 yd lanes, a 1 m diving well hottub, and sauna. They also have a water park to the side, though we haven't used it (daughter comes here for swim practice). Clean building and locker rooms with family changing area. Staff is friendly and polite.

Fantastic experience: Came here from 2004-2006, and then returned back in July. Great place to swim, usage of the sauna, steam room, and hot tub. Coming here is a must as the staff here are great

Fantastic experience: Cute little neighborhood rec center. Has group classes and a small gym. Rhe pool is great if you want to swim laps it does have a small kids pool my son loved when he was 3 to 6. There is also an outdoor small splash pad open during summer.

Positive experience: After looking on google that the closing time being 6pm on sat. Its about a 45 min. driclve from the rec center we usually use, that closes at 4pm. We decided to make the 45 min trek down the mountain to get maybe an hour swim in. But unfortunately they close at 5pm. We talked with a very nice gentleman Steven. Because the way he addressed this issue we would like to leave a 3 star reveiw, 5 stars if the time would have been correct. His customer service excelled any expectation of bringing up this issue to him. After a short conversation he said he will address the issue with the proper channels to look into the issue. But again would you please address this time change on the google site so that others will not have the same issue. Thank you again.

Positive experience: There is a diving board, it only inside, a kiddie pool and a hot tub, so it definitely has the basics covered which is a great time but no slide or rope just fyi

Fantastic experience: This is a nice family gym and swim center that I believe has plans for a remodel. It was pretty nice looking the last time I visited so it might already be done. It looked solid, clean and not too busy on a Sunday. I'll be back... :)

Negative experience: I USED to absolutely LOVE this pool. I literally raved to anybody about how I found the perfect pool. Even after I moved 20 minutes away, and there were much closer pools, I kept going I loved it so much. That’s why I give it 2 stars, instead of 1 based on the below. I would say, I strongly don’t recommend going in the summer if you like to swim laps. Since school got out, whenever I’ve gone that isn’t first thing in the morning, I’ll try to swim laps and there has been anywhere from 2-8 children just chilling in your lane with you. I would have been there first, and they just decide to come in the lane too. There’s an entire kids pool, and then in the regular pool, there’s a huge free swim area, but yet, most of the children insist on just playing in the lanes. This happened to multiple other people, not just me. I’d try to swim back stroke, and I’d end up running into kids as they wouldn’t move. I told them that the lanes are for laps, and if they want to play, there was a huge area open for them. Did they care? No. Did any of their parents tell them to respect people’s space? No. Did any of the life guards intervene (especially as these kids can get hurt getting ran into by people swimming backstroke that don’t know the kids are there)? No. At one point the last time I went, there were about 20 children dispersed over the 5 lap lanes with the poor 5 of us trying to swim laps, and only 4 children in the huge free swimming area. Primarily this is the parents fault. They obviously don’t care about teaching their children to respect other people’s space. But also, if the facility isn’t going to uphold the literal point of having lanes, they should just get rid of the lanes all together. I cancelled my monthly pass. What’s the point of paying every month if you spend half the time trying to watch out for kids, stopping to avoid running into them, and not getting a decent work out in.

Positive experience: Great place for taking care of your health on a budget. Very clean, which is very important to me, and friendly staff that will help guide you to get the best value. Lockers are free with a membership or punch card entrance, otherwise it's a quarter for one. Open during construction and remodel. Water exercise classes are included with entrance. Splash pad up and running! Summer breakfast and lunch programs up and running for kids 18 and under....Free with no sign up!! Bring the kids, plenty of nutritious food available!!

Fantastic experience: Westminster Swim & Fitness is a small center with great fitness equipment and a excellent cold water lap pool it also has a nice leisure pool. The lockers are new it has adequate showers and a good hot tub, steam room, and sauna. The staff is very friendly and efficient. The clients who use the facility always make you feel like family. Great place.

Fantastic experience: Excellent customer service every day of the week. It has a smaller baby pool that splits with a 3.5 foot slightly heated pool for the younger kids. A really big multi lane lap pool with a free swim lane at the end. A big 12 foot deep section with a diving board. Hot tub and sauna. This is just the aquatics area! It's not a gigantic facility but it's amazing if you love to swim.

And lap pool.... Full showers and dressing areas.... Just wear your flipflops... don't shower barefoot in shower locker rooms...Or you could end up with a wart on your foot in the general shower area like I did.... So I shower outside in pool deck area instead.

Fantastic experience: The building is older but everything is extremely well maintained! Fantastic for lap swimming. The sauna is great. Haven’t used other parts of the facility but the gym also looks well maintained. A few times we’ve brought minor cleaning/maintenance things to the front desk and they always act immediately to address the concerns.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic place to swim and workout. About 6 or 7 swim lanes and I’ve always found an open one. Not crowded during the workweek. The workers there are very friendly. The biggest compliment I can give this place is that they have both a dry sauna and steam room, which is rare for a fitness center.

Negative experience: I've been to 4 or 5 pools in the last 6 months. They are the only one that doesn't let you take a shower.

Negative experience: I had the worst customer experience by far, in the state of Colorado. Having pre reservations & paid in full 3 hours ahead of time. Upon arriving I was told to wait outside and not in the lobby for 20 mins before my 2hr max reservation was in effect. Prior to them putting a sign to inform customers, I experienced the humiliation of not being informed on the phone or them having signs ahead of time. I paid for a Lyft their during the start of a blizzard. I asked for my refund back & went else where.
