Negative experience: Response and knowledge of staff is terrible. I have been trying to cancel my membership for weeks and have been told four different ways of how to do it and still can’t get a response. Equipment often has issues being out of order and the facility isn’t clean. Place just tries to trap you into a contract and make it impossible to leave. My wife is pregnant and is no longer able to use the facility yet they are trying to charge here $177 in cancellation fees
The staff explained the procedure to this member on several occasions. The procedure is fully explained in the documents the member and spouse signed. The member and spouse left owing the studio for three months plus fees. All of the communication and transactions are recorded. Our staff was courteous but firm. Though we would love for the member and spouse to return, some people are not suited to be members. Our organization has thousands of members throughly satisfied with the facilities , workout accommodations and cleanliness. The member should realize how his attitude and actions effects his own career and future. We hide nothing. We are fully transparent. Mistruths made merely to save a few bucks from a former member will not define our business. Best of luck to the former member and spouse. Negative experience: I sent an inquiry a year ago and have been harassed by phone calls and texts ever since. I block and delete every number but they circumvent and use different numbers every time. Even if I was curious about the workout before I refuse to engage due to their unethical sales practices.
Chris,We all are bombarded with social media, mail, etc. I am sorry you feel harassed however there are ways for you to prevent this from happening. Negative experience: For $80 a month this place sucks. Constantly out of clean towels and wipes. They consistently don’t have an employee around during staffed hours and the vending machine doesn’t work. I brought a guest at 7:30 on a Tuesday and no one was available for a rental nor to help with the vending machine. Be better.
Hello Lauren, we do apologize for any inconvenience these issues made you feel as we are always working to improve. We are growing with more members which is exciting as we continue to make sure we have plenty of wipes in stock. Towels are not required to provide, they are there to help if needed. Yes we are short staff, so if you know anyone that would be a great fit for our Fitness studio. We are hiring! Guest are welcome only during staffed hours M-TH 11am-8pm, Friday 9am-6pm, Sat 9am-2pm. Negative experience: Just had a terrible encounter with the Franchise Owner Joe Bruner. I am a sweat everywhere member who is able to go to any Hotwire location. Let’s just say I will never go to any location or refer any to his locations ever again. My apps quit working so I was unable to book a session. While him and another person were trying to help m, he told me “go ahead and work out while we try and fix this for you”. So I did just that. Once my workout was over, he raised his voice with me bc I didn’t book that room. DUH I didn’t book it because my apps don’t work. He then caught an attitude with me that was completely unacceptable and unnecessary. This man is rude and not a good representation of what it means to be apart of the Hot Worx community. I would rather drive 5 minutes to go to the other location.
Negative experience: I canceled my membership and still being charged although I've NEVER worked out in their establishment. Very disturbing!

Negative experience: I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the work outs but it all went downhill once I was ready to cancel due to moving out of state. My billing date for every month was on the 3rd and I gave a 60-day notice and I was told to come in before the 1st of July. I was unable to accommodate this so I went in on July 1st and decided to cancel the membership immediately for $99. I confirmed with the front desk staff member that since I didn’t make it before the 30th if it would affect my cancellation and that If I did this I wouldn’t be charged as well on the 3rd. It was confirmed by them and I double checked verbally just to be sure and was told that I would only be charged the fee to cancel immediately ($99) instead of paying for two more months. Sure enough, they charged me $160 and I was livid. When I emailed the GM I was told that they will only go off the emails sent back and forth and that they will only be required to review the policy with their staff. They basically implied that it was my own fault and that I should have read the terms. This is information that was not clear to me and that is why I trusted to ask a staff member. Turns out they don’t even know the policy so I was told incorrect information and I still had to pay for it. I have asked for someone above the GM (Arika) and I have not gotten any responses. The staff member also said that if I was charged extra that she should speak to her manager and get it credited back to me. Obviously that was just something she made up. I absolutely can not stand facilities that do not have knowledgeable staff and blame the customers for something done by the business. It was a lot of money that was taken out without me even being aware of it and that put me in a bind. Unbelievable how businesses don’t take responsibility for their own actions.

Fantastic experience: Love this different kind of working out, it has really put an ease on my knees. I had ACL and MCL surgery in both knees and the heat really helps alleviate tremendous pressure on them. Excited to see where this journey takes me and look forward to having an awesome workout each and every time I visit!!

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love Hotworx Viridian! The staff and owner are great! It is always clean, the membership agreement is straightforward and simple, and the site is always well-maintained. A special kudos to the General Manager, Arika. She's goes the extra mile to take care of gym members and is always courteous and professional. :)

Fantastic experience: I recommend this for all, beginners to advanced. Workouts are short and effective. You will walk out every time feeling accomplished. My wife and I are both tall, and the rooms are large and comfortable for us both. You get a lot with your membership. Locally owned small business!

Negative experience: Beware the cancelation policy....you still have to pay them for 60 days when you cancel membership
Yes Becki. The agreement, a contracual agreement which everyone signs and understands at the point of signing, states you can continue to use our facilities for two months after your cancellation notice however you are obligated to pay for those two months. Our contracts Auto-Renew monthly . When cancelling you are cancelling the Auto-Renew feature which requires a 60 day notice. Your cancellation is not effective until the end of the 60 days. You are not paying for two months after the cancellation. Please consider this is not a long term contract obligating you for a full year of payments if you decide to cancel. I am sorry you feel compelled to negatively rate my facility for this reason. Since it was explained to you and you signed the agreement acknowledging this, I am asking you to be considerate to our small business environment and remove your negative rating. Negative experience: I had the free session today because I was excited to try thier HOT yoga. I give them one star for the size of the sauna. I am 5' 10" and could not properly follow along with the instructor because the height of the sauna was too short. The T.V was too high and turning my head to look up was painful. Whee telling this to the front desk clerk she argued with me and debated that it was not too short, that her husband is tall and can do it. I felt her tone and demeanor rude and shaming. I give the staff one star. The video workout and Instructor gets 2 stars. It was advanced yoga and too intense for 120 degree heat. I will keep my live classes on Zoom at home with an instructor and my own infrared light for now. I was soooo excited and ready to join soon, but this place is not for me.
We were so excited to have you in our studio and wanted you to have a great experience! We would like for you to come back in and try one of the 9 other workouts! We have something for everyone and all are very different. Men and women alike and all ages have found something in the studio that fits their needs. The 3D Infrared training has great health and fitness benefits for all people of all sizes. Hope to see you again soon to try another session!I personally am 5'11" and feel most comfortable in the saunas. That certainly does not mean everyone will feel the same way. Having used the saunas often I am aquainted with the space and get around very well. Though originally I bumped my head a couple of times I have learned to honor the space provided. Honestly the benefits out weigh any inconveniences and offer much opportunity for better health and wellness; if I didn't believe that I would not have opened the spa. As the owner I believe with more experience you can realize and enjoy the benefits along with the nearly 70,000 other satisfied Hotworx members. If you ever want to share a class of your choice with an experienced member please let me know. I will be glad to try and set that up for you. jb
