Fantastic experience: Metroflex is a hardcore training facility. This gym is iconic filled with elite IFBB Pros. The staff is excellent and the owner Brian Dobson is a legend. I consider this gym home. I consider Brian a brother. I even voluntarily opened this gym each morning for over a year. I give MetroFlex (Arlington, TX) the absolute highest recommendation, I’d give it 10 stars if I could. It’s worth the day pass if you are just passing through.

Fantastic experience: The equivalent to Conan the Barbarian finding his sword in front of Crom. You walk in a fan, you leave with a new born . You can almost hear Ronnie Coleman’s Whooooo as you train. The sensation of needing to train as intense as Branch Warren and Johnnie Jackson rushes through you as you pass by all the equipment. The T-bar Row corner. Come in, hit it hard!

Fantastic experience: The best gym in Arlington! I went there when I was younger and learned what can happen if you really train hard. There are pro bodybuilders, and elite trainers here. You can learn a ton and really push yourself beyond your limits. It’s the best hardcore gym that had a big impact on my life.

Fantastic experience: I remember the first time I walked into this gym. I had to go to Denton to drop off some motorcycle parts ans on my way back to work I stopped in. I was truly awestruck. My entire life I had been looking for a gym like this. No bells, no whistles. Just straight up working out to the point of no return! Every gym out there should strive to reach perfection like Metroflex Arlington. This is the true mecca that every bodybuilder or fitness junkie needs to make a pilgrimage to.

Fantastic experience: Du coaching ça fait 20 ans que j’en ai et jamais vu une salle pareille. Après m’être fait virer de tous les Giga Gym de France, je pars trois semaines à Dallas au Texas faire un petit pèlerinage, bourré aux M&M’s comme un mulet. L’alarme ne se déclenche pas à une heure du matin, qu’est ce que c’est que ce bordel ?

Fantastic experience: I love this gym. It’s a no-nonsense facility with a great selection of equipment. It is also in a large, clean and well spaced area. The price is excellent, and they don’t do the gimmicky sales pitches you see at most gyms. If you’re looking for a trainer, there are several of them on site as well. I personally work with Tray, and he’s been great.

Fantastic experience: We are visiting from out of town and we are big fans of the gym and people who have come out of it. They were so nice in letting us get in and fan-out while looking around and get some leg work. Southern-hospitality runs rampant here and it was a great experience. Can’t wait to come back and hopefully run into Ronnie, it just happened to be Mr. Olympia weekend.

Fantastic experience: Legendary spot and super friendly people. You can squat at the same spot Ronnie did his 800lbs squat. You can just feel the history emanating from the place. Got a few shirts as well. Just amazing experience.

Fantastic experience: Toller Ort ! Hab das Glück beruflich ein paar Monate in der Gegend zu sein und . Die Atmosphäre ist Traumhaft und die Leute sehr nett . Auch die Geräte haben einen guten Effekt und funktionieren Einwandfrei dafür das sie so schlecht aussehen . Jeder der Bodybuilding liebt wird sich dort wohl fühlen .

Fantastic experience: Découvert sur les conseils d'un ami sérieux. J'ai dépensé des milliers d'euros pour venir m'entraîner ici afin de ressembler à un bûcheron. (Comme je suis d'origine yougoslave slovène je devais démontrer que le bucheronnage ça me connaît !) Bref, me voilà à m'entraîner au point de faire sonner l'alarme de la salle. J'ai failli me faire embarquer par la gurdia civile du coin dans leur beau X5. Je me voyais déjà au placard ...mais qu'allais-je faire ? Compter les cuillères de pêche ? Observer la collection de timbre ? Non certainement pas, je suis allé me faire un poulet, avec plein d'huile et des crepes au Nutella pour au final revenir à l'hôtel et dégueuler dans la baignoire. Et ça, ça ne me fait pas rire du tout... pas rire du tout. Bon cest un peu decousu mon histoire c'est excellente sall, vous allez devenir un samouraï. Je vous aurais bien fait une présentation plus détaillée comme je suis quelqu'un d'erudit qui se cultive mais passons.

Fantastic experience: Excellent lieu de pèlerinage. Des prépa prodiguées par des coachs érudits, qui ont commencées les diètes dans les années 80 avec M. Jean Texier. Pas le genre à vous torcher des prépa en 10 minutes avec des diètes à 6000 calories comme d’autres Baltringues. Ici c’est Men’s physic minimum… minimum. Par contre, les ziz, les gamins de 16 ans, et les petits kéké qui parlent derrière leurs écrans… ça va bien s’passer.

Fantastic experience: J'ai été faire un petit Pèlerinage dans cette salle, heureusement pour moi j'avais mes papiers car si on se faisait arrêter par la guardia civil on y était tout les deux !

Fantastic experience: Came into town to visit some family, ended up getting some free time so I decided to come check this place out! No joke, I had the best leg workout of my life. Everyone was super friendly and the atmosphere was unmatched. Definitely going to visit my in laws more often just so I can workout here LOL. They also have a really cool vending machine that has tons of protein packed snack options, protein shakes and pre workout drinks. I tried the Blueberry Legendary protein pop-tart and the Quest protein peanut butter cups which were amazing. To say the least, I love this place.

Fantastic experience: The mecca of hardcore!!! Lived up to the legacy. This place absolutely rocks, they even let my family sign the wall. You will surely get a training session that you will remember forever.

Fantastic experience: Words can't begin to describe this place. Atmosphere 11/10, has a collection of the best machines and pieces of equipment I've ever used to build muscle. You walk in and want to train arms, chest, legs, back, shoulders, abs, and calves and then repeat it all, order food delivery to the place and keep going. They must pump adrenaline into the air system. Place is too awesome to describe - if you're a bodybuilder, gym rat, fitness fanatic or anything even close you need to workout here at least once in your life.

Fantastic experience: It has been a good four or years since I have worked out here, but I loved it. Back then I was just entering college and I was huge into lifting weights. It was so incredible being able to work out in the same place that the people in those magazines work out in. Even Mr. O, Ronnie Coleman, works out here. This place gave me motivation to continue striving to be the best, both inside the gym and out. I want to thank the people over at Metroflex Gym, and if I ever move out towards the Arlington area I will be back for membership again!

Fantastic experience: I have traveled all the way from the east coast of Canada to train at one of the most world renown gyms, Metroflex. I was not disappointed. well maybe I was a little, because I just missed seeing Branch Warren filming his new Olympia DVD by minutes! But I still had Two fantastic workouts and got to meet IFBBP Por Cory Matthews.

Fantastic experience: Great gym. Been coming for a year. Had to get over the ambience, but they don't pretend to be a "fitness club". Its a hardcore gym that sticks to the basics- weights and machines. No need for showers, TVs, chairs, internet, tanning, etc, that stuff is for the birds. Get in and lift! Music could be better, but that why I wear headphones. 5 stars.

Fantastic experience: Ça valait le coup de faire faire un passeport pour y aller en pèlerinage. Parce que vous prenez l’avion comment ? Avec un permis de conduire ? Certainement pas ! J’aurais juste dû éviter les crêpes au Nutella et le poulet rôti plein d’huile, je suis incapable de tenir une diète. Le staff est super, on se sent vraiment entouré d’amis sérieux comme d’habitude !

Fantastic experience: Excellente salle. Je suis venu de Colmar en France, avec des amis sérieux comme d'habitude, ainsi que mes 120 kilos. Si après ça on dit que je suis pas un samouraï ... Dès que je suis arrivé, je me suis assis et j'ai dit "Bonjour Madame !". Ce qui est sûr, c'est qu'on ne va pas là-bas pour compter les cuillères de pêches ou ranger sa collection de timbre ! Au programme : 200g de haricots verts, diet' à 6000 calories. Les mecs sont des fusées ! C'est pas des baltringues ! Ce SONT des athlètes, vous allez le comprendre ça ?! Et en plus les coachs vous rasent les c******s avec des Gilette Triple Lame, même à 1H du matin, sans faire sonner l'alarme de la salle ! Voyez un peu l'travail vous ? Voilà, j'sais pas si je fais bien j'sais pas si j'fais pas bien de poster mon avis, mais fallait que ça sorte. Allez à plus.

Fantastic experience: J'y suis allé en x5 depuis Colmar et j'y ai vu une belle collection de cuillère de pêche, et de timbre, quand ils vous conseil une diet c'est 200 grammes de haricots vert et 200 grammes de poissons et non pas 202 grammes.

Fantastic experience: I've always wanted to train at Metroflex and yesterday I finally took the time to get a day pass and make it a reality. The environment was electric. There was no one playing on their phone, hogging equipment, doing half reps or standing around talking. Just hard core, old school, real lifting. Some people think that a gym that is so hardcore would be filled with ego maniacs but the reality is this gym is for the truly dedicated that know what they are doing. It's the newbies, trying impress girls at the big chain gyms you have to watch out for. I got a great workout and look forward to making visiting the gym a monthly occurrence. I would suggest bringing an Alan wrench. Most of the plate loaded machines are missing pins. I had to take one and switch a around a few times.
