Negative experience: Horrible customer service… Oh yeah well I don’t know how to calculate it. Oh well it depends on oh well, you would have to. I don’t know what it would be to calculate it. Well, yeah do…. It’s not rocket science everybody else can figure it out

Fantastic experience: We had the BEST experience having our daughter’s birthday party here at the kiddie pool area. The recreation supervisor Anthony Strack made securing the space a breeze, even accommodating a last minute switch in location. The lifeguards and pool staff were kind, professional, and observant of the kids, which made the water with many kids under 5 feel so safe. The door staff were friendly and quick to get our guests in the door, while maintaining community safety. We loved our experience with the parks district and would host events with them again!

Positive experience: I've been a member for a year-and-a-half. I do enjoy going when I can. Some of the staff seems very friendly. I do believe the front desk could be a little bit Friendlier to the people walking in the front door .. and I just went back again and they're still doing the same stuff and now they're talking about the guest badly

Fantastic experience: Waukegan Park District Field House is Very Family Members Orientated to Satisfy all Your Excitement in Excersing, Swimming and all Activities to Enjoy. You can even get a coach for your One on one. Weight room is awesome. The therapy pool is Heaven. Very affordable Memberships.

Negative experience: Nice place but ... apparently visited by people who can't read as they take food and drinks to the swimming pool even is written there not to and the staff doesn't care about that and does nothing. Really gross :-(

Positive experience: please more security is needed ,I'm from the hood and I see the play,there are thugs up there women and men trying to get hold of your belongings by any means necessary,becareful they are following people to lockers rooms also,no one is safe nowdays

Negative experience: It's more like a jail house recreation center now. I don't know what happened but they are 1 step away from frisking you & having metal detectors. I'm uncomfortable with the amount of staff and the new changes. I use to work at the county jail & this look is way to familiar. IN ADDITION, they have cut amenities, no longer have towels, & they get a part of our tax money right though the park district. #leavingsoon

Fantastic experience: I use the aquatic facility at least twice a week. The facility is great with clean locker rooms. I enjoy beginning yoga and walk the track afterwards. I love the district's commitment to excellence.

Negative experience: This gym used to be great clean, modern equipment so the employees always kind and helpful as of today it has not changed. But something that is making it be any other gym like the ones in the area unlike the gym that was in the past. Is seeing how people who does not pay membership gets inside just waiting by the main door waiting to get inside by waiving friends whose already are inside to let them in. Same situation and worse the second floor the friends just walk the track and wait for gym employees to walk away and wave some of the friends already inside to let them in totally unfair my husband paying our membership while other just walk inside without paying, unfair for us the members paying our dues and they taking advantage that noboby checks if only members are inside. The right thing should be everyone paying for this service. As previously mentoned employees are great.

Positive experience: Great gym with much to do. They link a lot of activities through the gym so it’s never a boring day including the rock wall which is a blast. My only true disappointments were as a parent because they used to do childcare for a couple hours in the evening so I could work out but it stopped immediately after I signed up. And another thing I loved was the family pool but the schedule is kind of wonky with the different classes. Overall, a great gym and community center.

Negative experience: Ya'll should be ashamed of your customer service.

Negative experience: I don't leave poor reviews but The FieldHouse is definitely doing some false advertising. Went to sign up as a new member with the bronze membership. The flyer and online said that includes batting cages, asked to use them and front desk said "oh its actually $55 per hour". Front desk told us it was free while signing us up So why is it listed as free, and why didnt you advertise as free? Also, says that you get an orientation with a personal trainer and the front desk asked for someone to come up multile times but they never did. Didn't bother asking about any of the other amenities listed and canceled the membership. They have free walking for waukegan residents but only certain times so that's something.

Positive experience: I love it here. We have been coming for about two months taking classes and using aquatic center. Staff are super friendly. Cleanliness needs to be priority but I clean if I need to to feel more comfortable. It's a huge place and many people coming in and out I get it that it can't be pristine.

Negative experience: Really racist towards Hispanics especially the managers or whatever that girls name is ! This gym Banned me for doing nothing ? Cause of my record something that happened 14 years ago ? Like bann me for something I did not somethibg that happened in my past ! I am a changed human being all I do is work and treat society like a prize a chance at another life which I been going 3 years here ! I am a regular ! People know me I'm a great guy and you people ban me ? I do not recommend this gym to nobody

Negative experience: Many inept young employees as well as silly old senior employees, really poor maintenance amenities break down whether it's the sauna or the steam room all of which needs a deep cleaning the showers are in lamentable shape and barely kept up with chewing gum in one particular shower stall on the weight resistance side regularly gets placed by some disgusting member and stays there for days before it is removed from the soap dish as a facility it has tremendous potential

Positive experience: There is so much to enjoy in this two level field house! Tons of equipment and free weights, fitness classes, therapy pool, full-size pool, kids indoor water park, rock climbing wall, walking track, multiple basketball courts, sauna, library, friendly staff, and super clean!!

Positive experience: A great place to train. Not very expensive and full of classes. It's better going early, as it gets very busy. Later on the day, the showers could be cleaner.

Fantastic experience: This place is a new beautiful place! Perfect customer service! I joined this place and love their pools! They have a very nice locker room! If you visit this place you will want to sign up! Waukegan is moving up in the world! It's much nicer there with all the Parks and the field house!

Fantastic experience: Let’s start off by saying that I love how clean this place is. Everyone that works here is super nice and and sweet, the lady that’s at the front desk every morning with long hair it’s very sweet she’s always doing her job and whenever I have a question she always has a answer for me. There’s also Omar, every time he’s at the gym he’s always cheering everyone up giving us motivation. He’s always cleaning even when he’s off the clock. He really does make a difference when he’s there. I’ve been coming here for over a year and I love it.❤️

Positive experience: Place is nice. Lap lanes were pretty chilly felt under the 80° temp it’s suppose to be. Family rooms were spacious and they offer towels for the pool you can check out. We were thinking of getting a membership here as it starts at 29$ and up and for a family of 4+ would be 69$ BUT we found out once we arrived they no longer do childcare, so if your looking for a family gym this isn’t the place unless there older then 12+

Fantastic experience: Lots of things to do, huge gym, several pools, open early morning till 10pm, indoor track mostly for walking, outdoor 3 laps per mile track at times very busy however nice community feeling. I like the lap swimming available almost any time facility is open. Pictures of well organized gymnastics competition.

Fantastic experience: Staff is friendly,fitness/weight room is clean plenty of space,the showers are clean, the low rate of 29 per month is good just wishing you could bring a buddy or otherwise it be a 20+ additional extra per month. All you need is some really good music and can block of the world and focus on you. I have just started coming here,although i come alone and was a bit shy at first, you get used to people there because when you look at it, the people there for the same reason as you are to exercise,and you'll feel good afterward for doing so. This is the closest gym to my house and like it. The outside track and park look stunning from inside the fitness room. Look forward to coming here again soon!

Positive experience: It’s a clean gym with friendly staff but it can get pretty crowded and considering they only have two squat racks and 3 benches, you might have to wait a bit.

Positive experience: I have pinched nerves and muscle spasms I'm trying to work out Pros include a resistance wave pool and extra therapeutic bubble spouts placed along what becomes a seven ft drop-off Good resistance swimming too The Con to me is that they claim pool is kept at 90 degrees really feels like 75 Just above Luke warm at Best Still recommend this area just not warm enough to claim 90

Negative experience: Swimming pool was nasty honestly it should be senior swim because most of the people in the pool are over 50 but the worst part is they charge 10 dollars to watch children play basketball. well at least that’s what they told me. I’m not saying it’s a race thing there but I believe some fishy is going on. Mostly young staff who look like they just graduated middle school are working there. Bad service and prices are constantly changed by the day. Swimming pool area is very nasty and needs to be cleaned Up.Get some better and older staff and stop changing prices everytime a unfamiliar face walks in.

Positive experience: Visited this facility from our of town. Very nice, (except for two old ladies). We took our babies to the kiddie pool (which was kind of cold; but if you keep moving, it's ok). We waited to go into the heated pool, as the schedule stated "family swim" started at 2pm. Went in at 2:05 and were BERATED by two elderly women whom wouldn't even listen to what we were saying. They just kept screaming "No children!" over and over like crazy robots. They made me feel extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome. We just wanted to warm up the babies. They acted like we were there to steal their souls.

Positive experience: Overall great gym. The staff is really nice. They are updating the equipment right now and have pretty much everything you need. The only thing I really wish they would add is a dedicated yoga/quiet room.

Fantastic experience: What an amazing gym. The instructors are calm, cool and collected and awesome.

Fantastic experience: I take private swim lessons with Justin and am an adult. The first lesson he taught me multiple different stroke styles. Then at the 2nd lesson he taught me how to tread water and some water survival skills. It’s really about the teacher- he’s amazing, patient and kind. He’s great at teaching And coaching! Thank you so much Justin! If you want to feel more confident I recommend him 10/10. Also I really like the how they offer child care with the gold membership, so if you’re a single mom like me, you can workout for an hour and they usually have good hours (covid makes things tricky). I took a yoga class before and it was really nice! I just wish they offer more spin classes throughout the day so I could attend. I sign my child up through sports and they’re very cheap and reasonable. They offer Military discount as well. I wish they had more squat racks, but at least you can deadlift here as opposed to the other gyms in town. They have one deadlift platform. Love the multiple stair masters upstairs.
