Negative experience: this gym is so sketchy!!! beware of the management, they are money hungry and do not care for their customers. they take forever to respond to your email, as all communication has to be done that way. they refuse to cancel your membership even if you give a valid reason and when you’re eventually are able to cancel, they don’t even give you a cancellation notice just an “email” as proof but then you get charged again the next month. DO NOT go to this gym it stinks, always under construction, and full of people who just record content all day instead of actually working out. do not i repeat do NOT waste your money here, please. go somewhere where you’re valued.

Negative experience: If I could review with 0 stars I would. I've been a member for a while now, before the price change of the membership, which is why im incredibly disappointed with my experience with them. I'm a college student, when I called to cancel my membership I was convinced to just put my membership on hold in case I came back during summer break. What was ridiculous to me was that I had to prove that I was a college student and send proof of my enrollment.I agreed to it either way, no problem. I called when I came home to visit to verify my membership was on hold, but to my surprise they tell me that I no longer had a gym membership and that I'm in collections. I never received any phone calls from them, any notifications, I never authorized to unfreeze my account. I still have the original emails. Why not just cancel my membership instead of sending me to collections over a gym membership? Ridiculous. You no longer are able to check your account on their website to just view or maybe change your payment method, super shady. I had previous friends who cancelled their memberships and had to "prove" that they were moving or asked what other gym they're signing up to. They make it impossible to cancel your membership. It's such a shame because I did love this gym, the culture, and the fact it was open 24 hours. I would advise people to sign up somewhere else.

Negative experience: Very bad gym. The employees are very rude and grumpy looking. The gym is not complete, I have not been able to do my activity I like to do which is box for 6 month. Have been here since November 23. 10 months and every time I come it is not up to par with the $40 they charge me every month. Also the little charges for changing card. Very bad don’t recommend gym. Then they don’t answer email. Don’t come here I rather workout at the park. Me and friends are steering away from here

Positive experience: Gym is pretty good, most of the equipment works well and it's usually not too crowded. Being open 24/7 is a nice feature too. What brings it down for me is that for one the music is WAY way too loud, it's like a club, I can barely hear my own music through my headphones. Also more importantly there are no ab machines, which I find very strange for a gym not to have. They need to add a couple immediately.

Positive experience: it is an alright gym, they have great lighting and cool bodybuilding machines that you wouldn't be able to find in a regular commercial gym. However, the price doesn't justify that the machines are broken most of the time and torn up. Also the ventilation is terrible felt extremely hot throughout my entire workouts. Lastly, the gym's size is too small with the amount of people who workout here. It is a busy gym even at 10PM.

Positive experience: Lots of available equipment. It’s cool how they have a fuel bar and ready made meals for members. However, for the price, the ventilation sucks. It’s always musty and humid in here compared to other gyms I been to.

Positive experience: I go here because it’s convenient to where I live. But they have much to improve. A lot of the machines are broken pretty often. And there’s not enough treadmills, stair masters, etc. maybe replace the broken machines with space for cardio… & they really need a professional cleaning service. It is DUSTY in there and the staff cleaning is not enough. The whole influencer thing isn’t the gyms fault necessarily but there should definitely be a rule against tripods. Overall again it gets the job done but if I had another choice closer to me that accepted my insurance plan I’d go there.

Negative experience: Been a member since it was 29.99 and seen a price increased, emailed and called about it and they said they will get back to me and never did, never got an email why it was increased. Money hungry for sure

Negative experience: worst gym i’ve ever been to. music is so loud you can’t even keep a convo even if you wanted to, limited space, management is rude and money hungry over this rinky dink gym, and you can’t cancel even tho you give a reasonable reason. there’s no air conditioning whatsoever so you’re sweating bullets by just standing there. save your money and don’t come here!

Fantastic experience: I’m happy to workout again in Ryse after 1 year I love what they have done in upgrades .This gym is the best in the area by far.

Negative experience: Been a member for over two years and just cancelled. Ryse can be a great place to workout if you go late in the evening or early in the morning. Management has fulfilled some of what they promised over the last two and a half years when I signed up. Renovations are slowly but surely happening and the gym is expanding. I was told when I first signed up I was ‘locked in’ to a $29.99 membership for lifetime and would not be affected by price increases. At the end of January 2024 my membership and my wife’s membership increased to $39.99. Although I have a membership at Ryse I workout at another gym and have kept my membership at Ryse so I have another option. I asked my wife to check why the prices increased for us the next time she was at Ryse. Im giving Ryse a 1 star review for the way the owner, Justin, responded to my wife when she asked about the price increase. He told her ‘she did not need an explanation’ for the price increase and should have checked her email. The emails about price increase? I haven’t received an email from Ryse since 10/18/2022 and neither has my wife. Why belittle your customer when they simply ask you a question? Between both of our memberships, I have paid Ryse over $2000 in the last two and half years (monthly membership/yearly fees) and have had no real questions or complaints for the staff. How is it that when one of your members has a question about a price increase, no matter how many emails went out, you can’t take two minutes to give a professional response? Based off other reviews this isn’t isolated.

Negative experience: Gym is of decent size and they are expanding. Decent equipment, however you can’t walk 5 feet without tripping over someone else tripods. Everyone wants to be an “influencer” and sits on machines for 30+ minutes trying to post the “next big” thing. Also the expansion includes a barbershop, while everyone still waits for a sauna to be built. I thought this was an athletic club not a mall.

Negative experience: Nice gym nice setup but staff not so great !!! I was considering this for a weekend gym but after talking to the staff about membership options I was completely disappointed. They lack customer service.

Negative experience: Gym equipment is nice. However, the gym is almost always overcrowded and lacks space. Also, the gym's membership deal is weird. Having to be locked into a contract for a year is bizarre to me. I have also tried emailing them about cancelling my membership multiple times and they have yet to respond to me.

Fantastic experience: I really really like this gym. It’s a little raggedy but they put their money into the variety of equipment which is the point of going to a gym. They have awesome artwork too! Good vibes all around.

Negative experience: Equipment and facility can really get some improvement. For a mandatory year contract, you'll think that they would invest in it. The gym equipment gets the job done. But you can tell they were purchased from some sort of discount equipment store.

Fantastic experience: Literally the best gym I’ve ever been too, plus with the expansions coming soon (a sauna, basketball court, more turf area) perfect gym.

Negative experience: I was going to college and they said they would freeze my account. They did not answer my emails, then they said I told them too late. Don’t join here. They try to take advantage of you.

Fantastic experience: Owner is consistently upgrading every aspect as much as possible as fast as possible. With an outstanding maintenance adjustments to any equipment that needs a fix. #1 gym in my opinion huge plus an owner who cares about the equipment & clients I wish everyone would be more considerate & respect the facility like it was their house to the people that already do thank you.

Positive experience: Lots of equipment = good Over crowded with equipment = hazardous Loud, way too loud inappropriate music!!! Have to crank up my earbuds to hear my own music. No men’s locker room… no updates on how long it will take to complete it. Outdated cardio equipment. Often they don’t work. Very dusty. Equipment it’s dirty. Location = very convenient Staff appear to be nice.

Positive experience: Pros: Good local gym with a lot of variety in equipment. Reasonably priced you want to lift weights or do cardio machines. Flexible hours make it another positive aspect. The people are nice, I've never had to deal with a confrontational person. Cons: The size of the clientele out numbers the amount of equipment available. It's not uncommon for machines/equipment to break, especially considering the size of the client foot print. It can be difficult to cancel your membership during the first year, as they lock you into a guaranteed commitment.

Negative experience: I don’t really recommend this club gym is not clean staff is not friendly and the main thing is they will push you sign one year contract and it is very very difficult to cancel the agreement. There are a lot of bureaucratic problems. I will not forget that.

Fantastic experience: What a great gym! Watched these guys gradually improve things as time went on. Very clean gym, great front desk staff. Ultimately while going here I got better, some stronger guys here. The loud music lifts you up on days where you are not feeling it. They also sell meals. Main recommendations.. would love to see the custom meals come back. Was one of my favorite components to the gym and what originally brought me in.
