Negative experience: The owner will not fix anything! A/C broke, equipment broke bicycle, massage table.... Maybe one day they will fix it
Thanks for taking our owner’s call to discuss your concerns. We always strive to minimize equipment down time and maximize the safety and comfort of our members. The A/C repairs are ungoing and unfortunately will take some more time, but we have brought installed temporary A/C units in the meantime. The massage lounge was only down for a couple of days but is now working and available 24/7. There is still one Expresso bike available for use. Both bikes are scheduled for complete updates soon. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience.
Negative experience: I used this gym on a regular basis for a couple years. I talked to the staff at the front desk on the phone and in person, informing them I was canceling my membership. I was never told to put it in writing. I'm not sure who it was that I spoke to as it was over a year ago and the staff changed constantly. I got an email that my credit profile changed so I logged in to see I have a collections for $110. I only used the gym the month I canceled. However I was billed for several months after even though my card was not active. This is not about the money, it's about the principal. Iam willing to pay for the last month i worked out there but they want several months after the fact! When I spoke to a manager last on the phone she ignored my concerns as if they didn't matter. I have recently joined a new gym and do not recommend using this facility.
Unfortunately your recollection of events does not match our documented events. However, we appreciate your membership and wish the end of your time with us had gone better. When we contacted you in May of ‘23, to inform you of a missed dues payment, you told us of a credit card problem and said you would come into the club to pay in person. Regrettably, this payment never occurred. During the following 3 months those monthly payments were missed also. We repeatedly sent you emails and left phone messages. Our calls were never answered nor returned (you opted out of text notifications). At that point, having never heard back from you, your membership was put into Collections. Our staff has attempted to be courteous and professional during the few interactions we have had with you regarding this matter. However, to date we have never received a simple cancellation request, and ceasing recurring credit card payments does not constitute a cancellation.
Positive experience: I know the company itself can’t do anything about my issue, but the only problem i’ve had so far is most of the gym goers are men who have staring problems. Tired of being looked at like a piece of meat when i am just trying to get a work out peacefully. and no I was not wearing anything extremely revealing not that it should matter anyways.
We are happy you like our facility. We’re sorry for your experience. We can, and will, definitely do something about it if you’ll share some details with our staff. We always want all of our members to feel comfortable.
Fantastic experience: If you are debating on getting a membership don’t wait come to this gym it’s clean quite and staff are absolutely incredible the manager is super sweet so thoughtful and caring so is the coaches highly recommend this gym if u live in Anna or surrounding areas

Of course you’re aware that we offer many amenities that can’t be found in home gyms, such as a full rack of dumbbells up to 100 lb, cardio equipment for everyone, one-on-one personal training, ReAct lower body and core eccentric training, tanning, Hydromassage and Theragun recovery tools, and monthly 3D Styku body composition scans for progress tracking, and much more.

Negative experience: Reported to collections affecting my credit score 50 points. I paid my dues but apparently there is a cancellation fee I was not told about and I didn’t find out until five months later when checking my credit report.
We made multiple attempts to contact you with opportunities to settle your account and waive late fees prior to it going to our collections agency.
Negative experience: Don't do it ! Place to expensive and to small for the equipment they have. "Maintenance fee" will hit you almost right after you sign up. PLUS monthly fees. And cancelation is a mess. Through a Third Party! More fees there you'll have to pay anther 30 days on top.
Our owner called you, Karla, but unfortunately hasn’t been able to talk to you yet. He would welcome the opportunity to discuss your concerns.The nominal Annual Fee isn’t charged until 45 days after joining, as explained to all members when they join. It serves to lock in the regular monthly membership dues so that they will never increase for the life of the membership.For accuracy and the security of our members, all cancellations are processed quickly and easily online by the same entity who processes all regular charges and membership agreements. We have no cancellation fees. A 30 day notice is required, meaning that one additional monthly payment is typically due at the time of cancellation. Gym access continues to the end of that final paid period.
Fantastic experience: Always clean, I usually go at 9 am or after 9 pm and its great. Morning staff is great. They have most machinery you will need

Negative experience: There is a female at this location always causing me grief I wish I knew her name she was working today. She’s messy. Exercise should not be disturbed. I’ll never work out here again, and deter others if they ask about this gym, plus I’ve disputed all charges from this gym. I’m very disappointed.
Thank you for speaking to our customer service manager regarding the situation where the police were called by a gym member because of a safety concern they had outside the gym regarding your minor child. You reacted angrily toward the gym staff, demanding immediate cancelation of your membership, which we promptly accomplished with no charges. You have since apologized and stated that you will remove your negative review.
Positive experience: I like this gym. Other reviews are correct re amount of equipment to size of space ratio. There is almost too much cardio gear and not enough duplication in weights. For example, there is only one flat bench for bench pressing, one squat rack, etc. But LOTS of treadmills, ellipticals, bikes, and stair climbers. My only other issue is that this place seems to be the second home for high school kids who are more interested in congregating than exercising, and who don't always understand that others are working out too. But hey, their money's green just like mine. Again, it's fine if you know enough to get creative when you can't get the machine you want.

Positive experience: The Gym is clean and I enjoy the convenience of being able to workout in the evening after I get off work. However I forgot my badge one evening(my bad), and asked the employee to look up my name in the system to show that I was in good standing so I could get my workout in. The response was no badge your not coming in here. Poor customer service skills. I even understand if that is the policy but just poor attitude in the way the employee addressed me.

Positive experience: First off I want to say the facility is great! However, I’ve unfortunately already had two run ins with some staff that I personally feel have been pretty disrespectful towards me and my family and is why I am writing this review. Many of my family members have been members at this gym and they have honestly given free memberships towards my brother who is a first responder and my grandfather a veteran. The second staff run in was when I came in one day to work out and my other brother had wanted to come with me and I was under the impression that taking a friend was free at this location. As I walked in, a bearded gentleman stopped me and my brother and asked for membership tags and I showed him mine and then he asked for my brothers who didn’t have one obviously. He then proceeded to kick him out even when I told him I thought bringing a friend was free. He responded saying “only during staffing hours” when literally he is the staff and obviously was working there at that very moment. I decided to leave after being disrespected in front of everyone there. I know not everyone here is rude like that but again I can’t let this slide seeing it’s the second time.
We’re glad you love the facility and that you and your family enjoy your memberships. As you mentioned, member’s guest privileges are only good during posted staff hours. Staff is there at other times to do cleaning and maintenance tasks, conduct personal training, and enforce after hours entry and safety policies. Everyone in the club must be members in good standing outside of the established staffed hours.
Fantastic experience: They take feedback well, reorganized the gym recently so that even with the growing gym fam there is still some space to move. Jonathan and the new team is great and we have met some amazing members the first couple years we have been here so great vibes

We would never intentionally interfere with a workout during our cleaning routine. It appears that we may have been shooting an informational video in the gym during your workout about the risks to persons and equipment caused by the uncontrolled release of weights. Fantastic experience: sparkling facilities, great equipment, intentional and engaged staff. the manager and team clearly love what they do and they pour it into everything they do. i would definitely always rather be in a place where the staff is joyful and working hard than a dirty facility with poor attitudes. have been a member for years and recently there have been such incredible changes. staff is doing such a good job of consistently enforcing standards to keep things safe and in exceptional condition. this place has been such an important part of improving my life, have lost over 40 lbs the last couple of years and hope to always be a member here! thank you all!

Positive experience: I've been a member at Workout Anytime Anna for about 6 months. Gym is relatively good. I tend to go later in the evening to avoid the crowds you get in the morning time and right after work. Equipment is clean and has most of the areas you need to get a good workout. Has a shower and even a hydromassage that is always available. The one major complaint I have is because I signed up for the premium service which comes with a "Monthly Body Composition Analysis" that I have used only once. Amazing plus! but I was never able to book an appointment and them actually keep it. I think today was my 4th time of a no-call no show or sorry something about the schedule. If you are lucky to actual use this service, the data they provide is next generation stuff, but again expect to show up multiple times and get an "I'm sorry" as if your time isn't worth any type of compensation. Outside of that nice place.

Negative experience: The play Fox News on EVERY TV! When I asked a worker if she could change the one that was in front of me she said “no” and she would have to ask her manager. Don’t understand why they don’t give gym members the option to change the channels♀️
The two TVs furthest apart are wired to copy each other and typically have the news. The others play largely sports, except when a member requests a change. Unfortunately once channels are changed upon request they can stay there for awhile. We’re sorry for any inconvenience.

Negative experience: I went there and I was ready to start my membership. A young lady in the main office by the entrance has introduced her self to me as the manager. She would look at me the burst in weird laughs, she kept on doing that for over 20 minutes. When I ask her what is funny she says she remembered something funny. I was sure she was laughing at me but couldn’t understand why?! I asked for a tour and she was laughing the whole time. I then asked for membership and enrolment costs, so she started showing me all the T-shirt’s she has that are for sale while laughing at the same time. It was insane!! Very unprofessional and I have no idea how in the world she was hired.

Positive experience: I really like the environment of the gym: always clean, plenty of equipment for everyone, and I’ve never felt intimidated by the other gym goers since I’m new to gyms, as a previous home workout kind of person. I knocked off one star because I wish the staffed hours were a little extended- I’m unable to use the premium features of my membership at all during the week as staff is gone by the time I get off work, but I look forward to using them on the weekends!

Negative experience: Last year our child was in the hospital fighting for her life. Our child was in the hospital from August up until her death in November. I mailed the company a letter cancelling the membership. Katie called in October asking for payment as all debt collectors had wiped our account. I advised Katie that we would NOT be continuing the relationship at the gym. She verbally told me that she would cancel the membership. She did not do that. This membership has hit my credit report. We only used the gym 2 times in July. No other time did we use the gym. I have asked the company to remove this from my credit. They are refusing. My mistake is not having this sent certified mail. Which was impossible to do since I had to keep my exposure down in order to be in the hospital with my child. In trying to restore my life I am trying to purchase a home, this is affecting my family. Be careful with signing these contracts they do not understand a hardship not even in death of a 8 year old.

We strive to always be compassionate and understanding.After researching your situation, it is apparent that there were a few communication and action lapses which ultimately led to your frustration.Each day we identify any unpaid balances. When a member’s account becomes delinquent we immediately reach out to them personally seeking timely resolution. However, after a few weeks of attempted, but unsuccessful, resolution, the unpaid balance automatically moves into a collection sequence which, after a few months, can lead to a negative credit rating impact.I, as the business owner, am glad that we were able to fully resolve this issue within 24 hours of it being brought to my attention. I left the details on a voicemail to your wife.

Fantastic experience: Wasn't expecting much when I walked in but the store front was deceiving, staff was on hand to greet me at the door which the 24hr place down the road had no one in site, I walked in and I signed up, that's all I have to say.

Fantastic experience: This is the first gym I've ever joined and I'm really happy with the entire experience. The fee is very reasonable, the location is convenient for me and the selection of equipment is great. I really like the location, it feels safe enough for me to go all hours of the day or night when I have spare time. The staff is great and the facility is clean. I recommend this place!

Positive experience: It has a lot of good equipment but it is almost too crampt for ab exercises or yoga for example.

Positive experience: I would give 5 stars but I would like to see the owner expand on the gym on either side to insure more space. i’m sure more customers would join the gym if the space was there

Positive experience: Small little local gym. Newer equipment and very clean. Due to size there are a lack of certain pieces of equipment. And though very clean the staff is constantly vacuuming with the loudest vacuum I have ever experienced, that is somewhat annoying.

Negative experience: Decent facility, but bad business practices in my opinion. My partner canceled his membership and followed the instructions the guy at the front desk gave him. They continued to charge us every month. When we brought this to their attention they refused to refund the money and claimed their was no record of cancelling. If you plan to sign up and end up canceling, get some kind of written confirmation from them or they will not honor it or refund you.
We appreciate you taking the time to bring this to our attention. Unfortunately, we cannot address any specifics based on a third party review without the member's name. If your partner can contact the gym directly during our business hours, we will be happy to work with him to resolve any outstanding issues. We always strive to make cancellations as simple as possible and never take the concerns of our members lightly. For the protection of all of our members we must abide by the membership agreement, which all members receive in writing when they join. Our cancellation process is straight forward and preserves the 30 cancellation notice requirement. Once the online Request for Cancellation is received and any outstanding balances are paid, along with the final month of dues, all billing ends and the cancellation is automatic in 30 days. Email notification is made and complete records of this entire process are maintained.
Positive experience: I recently moved to the area and tried Workout Anytime to see if I wanted to get a membership there. I previously had a membership at Planet Fitness so I wanted to find a gym that was comparable. I have no complaints about cleanliness or the staff at Workout Anytime, the gym was clean and the staff was nice. However, the gym is just so small. I went there at 8 p.m. on a Tuesday (a time I thought it wouldn't be very busy) and it was quite crowded. I finished around 10 p.m. and the I felt like I was on top of people and there isn't much room to do free weights or exercises on a yoga mat. I couldn't imagine trying to workout there during peak times like in the morning or after work. If you're just there to do cardio on a machine, you'll be fine at this gym because they have lots of treadmills and such. But if you're wanting to use the weights, strength machines, or do your own workouts on a yoga mat — it's a hard pass.

Positive experience: Recently joined this gym. Workout anytime has a lot more options as far as machines and cardio equipment. It is smaller but at the time I get to the gym I haven’t run into any issues. I like that they have the app and I can use my phone to enter. Staff was nice and took time to explain the sign up process. Other than the size/space in gym it’s a good option with reasonable fees.

Fantastic experience: The facility is very clean and the equipment is new. I usually come late at night and I feel very safe there late at night. I've used Johnathan as a trainer and he is knowledgable and quite helpful. I'd highly recommend Workout Anytime if you're looking for a place to workout that's local, clean and open 24/7.

Fantastic experience: I Love this gym! Great staff, great equipment, great atmosphere! If you need extra motivation to shape up your act join this gym. People of all ages are working out. Always nice to see The Anna Fire Dept. Working out there too.

Fantastic experience: Love Workout Anytime Anna! The staff is so friendly and always there to answer questions and help out. They were always on top of cleaning before the pandemic, but they have stepped it up. I've never had a concern about working out.

Fantastic experience: Anna and surrounding communities must be so proud to have a Fitness Center like Workout Anytime. This facility has so much to offer including a great location, excellent membership offerings, updated equipment and the staff, trainers and managers are very helpful and professional. I have been a member of other larger chain Fitness centers but they do not offer the persoanl services that Workout Anytime Anna can. E.Rogers
