Fantastic experience: I've been going here for a month now and absolutely love it! The coaches are encouraging, knowledgeable, and attentive to everyone in class, always giving tips on how to improve form. I really appreciate their app, it posts workouts ahead of time and lets me track my weights and reps. The environment is welcoming and friendly, with a culture that makes everyone feel included. There's never any shame or guilt if you need to adjust or modify a workout for your own needs. All the coaches are great, and the early morning class availability is a huge plus. The price is also very reasonable. Hands down, the best gym I've ever been to!

Fantastic experience: Chappie Hunter’s Alpine Ranch CrossFit is a friendly and inviting gym. While the focus is to workout, I never get the feeling that anyone is judging me. CrossFit meets you where you are. So whenever I come in, the coaches are so encouraging and they tailor my workout to my level of ability. I’ve never had a negative experience at this gym. I always leave feeling like I’ve accomplished something I never thought I could. An even bigger plus is working out with a group of friendly and supportive people. My husband and I are so grateful to be members of this gym!

Fantastic experience: My 10 year old loves the kids CrossFit class, it’s helps get him stronger for his year round sports (baseball, flag football and tackle football)

Fantastic experience: All the coaches have been really supportive and I like that they give you personal attention to make sure you are lifting correctly. I feel like I have a personal coach everytime I work out. Also the other members are supportive and helpful and although it is a relaxed atmosphere, I think it wouldn't be the same without your peers giving you automatic motivation, just by their very presence and comradery. The gym is always super clean and nice and organized. They have lots of cool stuff like fresh squeezed juices and food samples from a meal prep person who works with them. Like I said, it is a relaxed atmosphere where nobody is going to judge your efforts, but if you like to compete or push yourself hard, that is totally an option as well. Overall I believe the true value of alpine ranch crossfit is much larger than what you pay per month and the practical aspects of the gym, the equipment and the planned workouts. The built in accountability, motivation and community really make it worth it to me. I wouldn't work out nearly as often or as hard if I went to a regular gym or tried to work out at home. I highly recommend this place!

Fantastic experience: I’ve done team sports and team workout for most of childhood and young adult life, because of that I have struggled to know what to do in a gym on my own. And when I’ve joined other classes it was never the same team feeling that I loved from my youth. HOWEVER, at Alpine Ranch CrossFit, from the moment i walked through the doors I could tell that this gym was more than a team, they were a family. And more than that everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The workout was amazing and when i struggled more than one person was cheering me on. I was the last to finish and one of the ladies came out to finish my run with me and for the last set of box jumps, another gentleman did a second set to do mine with me. That is what teams do and I thought it was amazing that they did that for me on my first day. I’m so excited to go back.

Fantastic experience: I joined Alpine CrossFit to challenge myself. Everything I was doing was good but boring! I’ve never done CrossFit before but I’m learning all the fundamentals and am excited to do more. I attend the 5 am class so I can get to work at my leisure. The staff, Chappie, Arlene, Jackie and the others support my goals and help me make baby steps to accomplish them. I love the environment! Try it.

In their own words, "I feel safe there, every day is awesome, the coaches know our limits and give instructions we can understand, and it has a great atmosphere." As the mom observing the class, I appreciate the patience and time they invest in each child. Coach Chappie and Coach Arlene motivate the kids to work had while having fun. The games they play at the end of the class has everyone smiling as they leave. Fantastic experience: Going to the gym can be intimidating, especially into a CrossFit gym. Athletes are performing complex movements and doing Olympic lifts with absurd amounts of weight. If you’re looking for a gym without egos, look no further. Alpine Ranch CrossFit was intimidating at first, however that pressure was self induced. This place is welcoming and supportive. Athletes range from people with little to no experience, to elite athletes. The coaches are the best. They’re all very knowledgeable and approachable. These coaches are always looking out and watching for form and technique. You won’t see these coaches on their phones, they truly care about your workout. HANDS DOWN THE CLEANEST GYM. I became familiar with Alpine Ranch Crossfit when I started taking my oldest son to the Young Warriors program. I saw the coaches bring fun, focus, and discipline to each child, building their strength and putting smiles on their faces. As each class ended, I noticed the adults who arrived for the adult class that followed. "These people are in great shape!" I thought to myself. I decided to join based on how physically fit the other adults are and how great the coaching was for my son. I had been in and out of various gyms and martial arts dojos throughout my life. I had considered myself in fairly decent shape, but since I joined 2.5 years ago at 46 years of age (now 48), this program has made me stronger than I've ever been. I confess that each and every class I've taken has been a challenge, and I'm learning to be more comfortable being uncomfortable, pushing myself to build strength, endurance, and flexibility. "Check your ego at the door," the sign says as you walk in the door; I appreciate the humble, hard-working attitudes that the coaches and members have. The coaches are amazing! Every single coach excels in knowledge and exemplifies strength. Each coach has taken the time to get to know me and help me through my unique challenges. I admit I had previously been practicing some movements with incorrect form, and the coaches have helped me hone each movement in the interest of safety and strength. The other members of the gym are absolutely outstanding people; I don't come to the gym to socialize, but I have made so many great friends throughout my time here. There is something special about suffering and laughing together. I now take all three of my kids here, and they love it, we all love it. They are stronger than I ever was at their ages, and the movements they practice are making their muscles, bones, and joints strong to sustain them for long, healthy lives. They smile as they have fun, get strong, and also learn discipline, respect, and humility. Chappie and Arlene, you have created a great fitness program, a great experience, and a community that I hope others will take the time to experience. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: The past three weeks I have attended Alpine Ranch CrossFit's olympic weightlifting class. The atmosphere of the class was very welcoming and I felt the sense of community the moment I walked in the gym. Alex Mack is their head olympic weightlifting coach and he was phenomenal. He helped all his athletes with specialized instruction. It was evident that proper form and the health of the athletes was Alex's top priority. I recommend attending Alpine Ranch CrossFit's weightlifting class. You will definitely see improvement in your Snatch and Clean and Jerk.

Fantastic experience: I have been athletic my whole life, but doing CrossFit has increased my strength and endurance more than I was able to do on my own at other gyms I have been working out here for 5.5 years and at 54 years old am doing more than I could have ever imagined. The coaches are patient and will adapt the WODs to your needs, The people that work out at this gym are awesome too; enough that I drive from El Cajon to Alpine to work out.

But Coach Chappie worked with me and the coaches have continued to make accommodations for me, as needed. Thankfully, they are not needed as often now! I've only been going for about 2 1/2 months, but I really enjoy the people & the environment there is always positive. I've come a long way in that 2 1/2 months. I can't wait to see how much I continue to improve.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to this gym for over 2 years, after years of going to a “regular” gym. Over the past few years I’ve not only experienced a gain in physical strength and confidence, but mentally as well. I came into this gym not being able to do 1 push up, but now I’m doing multiple sets and lifting weights I’d never imagined lifting if I had stuck to what I was doing before. Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Alpine Ranch Crossfit enough! Chappie and the crew are incredibly welcoming and push you to do your best without risking your safety/form. It's a great, clean, gym to improve yourself and feels like a safe space for chatting if you need it too. If you have kids theres a little kids area they can hang out in too. I travel a lot for work and just dropped in while I was in town for 3 days - going to Alpine Ranch was the highlight of my evenings. I also attended one of the yoga classes and the instructor was good, her regulars would echo the same thing. Thanks so much for your hospitality and kicking my butt!

Fantastic experience: I recently had the opportunity to train at Alpine Ranch CrossFit while on vacation. As a walk in, I showed up on the last day of Open workout 19.1 and was not sure I would be able to run the workout with no notice and not being a member. I was blown away by how accommodating, friendly and supportive this community is. Everyone there that day and on two other days greeted me personally and made me feel at home as I do in my hometown​ gym. In 4 years of Crossfit and having the opportunity to train at more than 10 Crossfit boxes, this experience stands out as what every box should aspire to emulate. Fantastic experience: ARC is the best community and makes working out so fun! I can always count on the awesome coaches and members to make me smile every day! After every workout there are always high fives and smiles going around because everyone there is so supportive and wants everyone else to do well! Love this gym!
