Our comment from FitFit United States about Lehi Legacy Center:
Lehi Legacy Center is a fantastic community recreation facility that offers a diverse range of activities for all ages. The aquatic center is a major highlight, featuring a large indoor/outdoor swimming pool with a lazy river, huge slides, and a kiddie area that kids absolutely love. Many users praised the pool's warmth and the family-friendly environment, making it an ideal spot for kids to play safely. The center is particularly noted for its great staff, who are friendly and helpful, ensuring a pleasant experience for visitors.
Aside from the pool, the gym facilities receive positive remarks, with a well-maintained weight and cardio room, along with basketball courts and fitness classes. The annual membership is reasonably priced, making it an attractive option for families looking for affordable exercise solutions.
However, it's important to note that some customers experienced issues with overcrowding in the pools, especially during peak hours and summer months. Additionally, a few users raised concerns about the reservation system and management practices, particularly in regard to swim lane availability. Despite these drawbacks, many visitors emphasized the overall enjoyment and value this center provides.
Highlights:- Large, family-friendly aquatic center with various pools and slides.
- Affordable pricing and excellent annual membership options.
- Helpful, friendly staff providing a welcoming experience.
- Overcrowding during busy times may affect the swimming experience.
- Management could improve communication regarding reservations and facility usage.
Overall, the Lehi Legacy Center is a well-cared-for facility that promotes fun, health, and community engagement.
Lehi Legacy Center: Opinions

Fantastic experience: Checked in to go swimming in the indoor pool. Every single person was very friendly. Nice facility. Would appreciate larger life vests for special needs but should have brought our own.
Fantastic experience: been going here for years always great!
Fantastic experience: Clean. Pool water is warm. Excellent place to bring young children and/or do water exercise as a senior
Positive experience: Been coming here nearly daily for a few months now. Building could use some modernizing but the amenities and equipment does the job just fine if you just want to get a workout in without the wait and crowds of Vasa. I do wish the weight section was bigger, but the equipment and machines are in great condition. And it is nice if you’re wanting to hit machines back to back without waiting too long between, like you would at Vasa. Only been to the pool a couple times so far but it’s pretty decent. Slide is fun. Membership plans are decent and I like the breathwork classes on Mondays. Front desk is always welcoming and friendly as well.
Fantastic experience: Closed the last week of summer?! This is absolutely bonkers! We love the legacy center. We’ve lived in Lehigh and surrounding areas and always utilized it. The decisions that go on here though are questionable at BEST. Maybe put together a board of citizens that could help.
Fantastic experience: Love swimming here.
Fantastic experience: Our family loved coming here!!
Fantastic experience: Great facility! Lots of equipment and availability. Friendly staff and amazing group fitness classes.
Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing, best swimming pool I've been to.
Fantastic experience: Gymnastics program is so great! I went to this gym for 8 years before switching. The gym is amazing and the coaches and people are so nice and supportive. They are not too strict but also strict enough that you can do well in competitions. The reason I switched had nothing to do with the gym or the coaches. I love this gym so much and have no regrets to going there.
Negative experience: We enrolled our kids in this swim school expecting them to be coached and guided through their development. Instead, we’ve been thoroughly disappointed. Our kids are in levels 3 and 4, yet they’ve received virtually no attention or instruction during their sessions. The instructors seem entirely focused on kids who don’t yet know how to swim, pushing them ahead while ignoring those who are ready to improve their skills. It's unfair and discouraging, especially for children who are ready to progress. It got so bad that my wife—whose mother is an Olympic swimmer and knows what she’s talking about—felt compelled to give our son guidance herself from the sidelines, because no one else was helping him. Instead of addressing the lack of coaching, the staff responded by targeting her. Alyssa singled her out and told her that spectators aren’t allowed, even though there were multiple white spectators in the same area who were left alone. There is no excuse for this kind of selective enforcement. It was clearly racially motivated, and completely unacceptable. This swim school needs to seriously rethink how it runs its programs—and how it treats its families. We will not be coming back, and we strongly advise others to look elsewhere.
For families with children who do not fall within the age range or skill level of our Red Cross Swim Lessons, we recommend private swim instruction. Private lessons can be scheduled at any time outside of regular group swim lesson hours. For more information or to schedule a private lesson, please contact our Aquatic Center Assistant Manager at 385-201-2320.
To ensure a positive and effective learning environment for all participants, we kindly ask parents and guardians to remain in the designated spectator areas during swim lessons. We've found through 24 years of experience that distractions from the poolside—such as unsolicited instruction or hovering near the edge—can significantly disrupt both students and instructors.
Our instructors, many of whom are high school seniors or college students home for the summer, are dedicated to providing high-quality swim instruction and creating a safe, supportive learning environment. When expectations around boundaries and poolside behavior are repeatedly challenged, it becomes difficult for staff to focus on teaching.
It is not uncommon for our staff to ask individuals to move to the appropriate spectator areas—this is a standard part of maintaining a productive class environment, not a rare or personal action. We ask for your cooperation so we can continue to make the Aquatic Center a safe, comfortable place where children can focus on learning how to swim.
We appreciate your understanding and support in helping us make swim lessons a positive experience for everyone.
Positive experience: We love swimming at the Lehi Legacy Center. It’s a lot of fun, but the water is chilly so it’s a lot better during the summer. They also offer a lot of fun classes.
Positive experience: This place is so cute and family friendly! Nice staff, and a useful facility. However, every time I come here, the pool water is dirty. Once, I came swimming here as a family thing, and my younger sister accidentally swallowed the water while swimming. We weren't concerned until she threw up an hour or two later.
Fantastic experience: So much fun!!!! Love the wave pool!
Fantastic experience: I’ve been going here to swim ever since I was a kid, always a fun time!
Positive experience: They need better venting in this place. Its really hard to beat due to the levels of clorine in the pool. I wish we had a betterbpool in the area. They need something like Provo has.
Fantastic experience: We love this place. So Family friendly. The activity pool is shallow enough for a six-year-old to stand in it everywhere. They have a really fun, dumping bucket and long waterslide that winds around outside the building, splash pad for kids, they have so many classes for all ages, an indoor track,, lap, pool, weight room, cardio, machine, room, fitness classes, food court with a real decent garden salad along with other gas station type foods. It is super reasonably priced. Six dollars for adults to swim, and five dollars for children. In the summer, they opened up one of the walls of the swimming pool and the lazy river winds outside with the splash pool for little kids outside as well. Super recommend!
Positive experience: This is a great pool for toddlers up to tweens and the occasional teen. Their splash pool is fun, the lazy river is lazy, and the slide keeps you going time and again.
Positive experience: It was good place to do things but it was bit crowded, The water in the kiddy pool was cold, when I got there they made me buy swim diaper and swim trunks even though I had already told them I had trunks already. They only have two bathrooms/changing rooms so if you need to go the bathroom you will have to hold it until something comes available. I also didn't like the fact that they wouldn't let me use my own baby intertub and they suggested that I could buy one of theirs instead. Just to make more money off of me than I could pay for.
Thank you for your feedback. I’m a bit confused by your review and would like to provide some clarification. Our leisure pool is consistently maintained at 89 degrees for comfort. Per state health department regulations, swim diapers and plastic diaper covers are required for all children 2 years and under as well as non-potty-trained children of any age. We offer plastic diaper covers at cost to help meet this requirement. Our facility includes two locker rooms, each with multiple stalls, so restroom access is readily available. Regarding flotation devices, we do not permit infant floatation devices that pose a risk of deflation or allow a child to slip out. However, puddle jumpers are allowed. While we do not sell infant floatation devices, we do have them available to use for free. We require leaving an item for collateral to use them.
Positive experience: The pool is great, my daughter really enjoys it. The whole center could do with some updating, the weight/cardio sections are rather small compared to other areas. However the cost to use the track is perfect. I come here to get my 10k steps in and without a membership it's only a few bucks a week. I love how many activities are offered
Fantastic experience: Fun place yontake the family
Fantastic experience: This swimming pool and Splash pad totally Rock's . I Gatekeeper Jesus Christ Amen had a vision that Sarah said yes ❤️. Those bleachers above that pole would have been the ultimate place for everyone to watch the ultimate double dog Dare you spot ♥️ three Triantualas crawl on my belly for three minutes. Everyone around watching me screaming . . Also I dreamed I participated in one last special Olympics race with a girl beating me at the last second due to a change of heart ❤️ on those floating boards maybe kicking are legs. I wanted it to be Sarah . I had the Ring of power and the Ring of the Stars on from the angels above on but nothing happened I even had the hottest swimsuit on waiting to be called by the coach and Sarah yelled out Yes and everyone was going with excitement ❤️. If Sarah says Yes ❤️. Can we do it again on the weekend of Sarah's choice. Music let's get Rocked by Def Leppard. Fantastic experience: This place is pretty cool. They have an employee of the month thing next to the front desk that feels empty without a picture... Overall, great place to be.
Positive experience: We loved the pool! Our toddler screamed when it was time to leave. Just wish it was a bit bigger.
Fantastic experience: What a wonderful experience at the pool area. Everyone was so helpful and professional.
Fantastic experience: I felt like the employees were super friendly and helpful. The pool was very nice, too. We were there for a birthday party, and it was nice to have a room available to hold the kids right by the pool entrance. No complaints here!
Positive experience: Es un buen lugar para nadar, piscina techada con calefacción en invierno, pero hay pocos baños vestidores en el área de la piscina, y en la ducha no salía agua caliente.
Positive experience: It's fun, and fair prices to swim!
Negative experience: The rec center is nice, but this is regarding the tennis program. It was one of the worst experiences we’ve ever had. Not only were the kids out of control and disrespectful, but they were never asked to be respectful by any adult. My daughter was always the one helping the coach clean up while the other girls were screaming they don’t want to help. We are from Arizona and there is wayyy more structure and fun with learning and correction. We had kids threaten, scream, and the parents weren’t much better. What’s the point of watching the 20 min FANS video if you let the parents act crazy anyway?? Never again.
Fantastic experience: We come here for the aquatic center and the kids love it. Of enough pool for quite a few people. During the summer they keep the pool cooler to keep everyone cool.
Positive experience: Nice place to get a walk in. Seniors walk for free on weekdays
Fantastic experience: Awesome place for five bucks there's soooo much you can do ... the pool/water area is worth it alone
Fantastic experience: We always have a great time. Water is usually nice and staff has always been friendly
Fantastic experience: I always go with my kids, they love it!
Fantastic experience: Excelente lugar
Negative experience: I received permission to add flyer to board of movie ‘Escape from Germany’. It wasn’t even posted up there for the two week minimum-so when I hand wrote the info-they said -don’t put it up-rude—I let them know it
Fantastic experience: I paid a lot to get my home movies digitized. A couple of years later I could have done it here for free. The volunteers who staff this place are always helpful.
Positive experience: Great gym. The staff is very kind and helpful. A very inexpensive option, especially the annual membership. ~$160 for an entire year. The weight and cardio room has a good selection of machines, and a track around it for walking and running. There are full sized basketball courts. There is also an indoor and outdoor swimming pool. The problem I have with this place is it can often be too hot! On multiple occasions I have pushed myself and had to head outside so I dont pass out. Other than that it is a great option for anyone who needs leisure time and excersize.
Positive experience: Great place! Hosted a birthday party there and had such a blast. The price was incredible, and the pizza was good for a rec center. Would highly recommend!
Fantastic experience: We've been playing indoor soccer and basketball for a couple years now and the rec-center does it right. You get all kinds of different level of players on each team and the couches are volunteer based (Usually a parent of the kid on the team). My kids always have a good time.
Negative experience: Under NO circumstances but the most severe should a person purchase a membership here if their goal is to swim. There are very few consistent times of day during the week during which one can reliably find open lanes. Members have access to the pool from 5 to 8 AM and from 9 to 11 AM--however, it is during these times that the center schedules much of its club swim activities. Whether it's one of the several swim teams the center itself manages, water aerobics, or private coaching events, you will more often than not have to turn away upon finding that these activities (for some reason) require all but 1-2 lanes to be reserved for the other participants. To be fair, you ARE free to join some of these teams, and their membership costs are quite low on top of the annual member fee. However, spots in these teams are sparse and they may not be catered to your particular needs, so if you refuse to join one, good luck! The Legacy center is an excellent community recreation center and it is quite rare, at least in my life, to see cities offering something to its citizens at so little a cost. However, the natural consequence of its affordability is a very high demand for its facilities, not only in terms of swim lanes but also its weightlifting equipment and overall breathability (the weightlifting regions are, after all, enclosed by metallic cages that aren't exactly inviting). However, I will be better off buying a gym membership elsewhere if it means having reliable and quick pool access without having to constantly adapt or make way for large group activities.
Negative experience: Kinda bummed about our experience. I grabbed some dinner for my kids to eat at the tables before we went swimming and we got in trouble because the tables were only for center court purchases (never mind everyone else just sitting on their laptops or waiting for kids) The lifeguards were quick to reprimand us for the smallest things like, not going under the stairs to retrieve a toy, not swinging on the kids swings, and they were ALL OVER that 10 minute break time, but when my kid went down the slide with no life jacket (because they MADE him take it off for some reason?) there was no lifeguard around at the bottom and he was totally traumatized. I just wanted to have fun but felt reprimanded at every turn. If it’s all in the name of safety I can get behind it—but the only time my kid was in actual danger is when they dropped the ball. Feels like we’re focusing on all the wrong rules here….
Positive experience: Decent gym but gets busy could really use another squat and bench rack there is always a wait
Fantastic experience: This place us great for swimming, running, and exercise of all sorts! It's a nice, clean place with good prices and not too crowded. The track here is 1/8th of a mile and really in good condition. All in all 10/10
Fantastic experience: Great price and the pools are huge. Our kids love going there.
Negative experience: Turning people away because your card reader down is RIDICULOUS. Either way you aren’t getting money… so why not just let people in? It’s your mistake.
Positive experience: Kid friendly and lots of smiling faces, even a little kitchen for classic favorite snacks. Big thank to taxpayers on making somewhere like this possible
Negative experience: A lifeguard named Issac started harassing my children and physically restrained one of them. I asked him what was going on and he said my kids are being annoying? He never said what happened and just continued on like nothing ever happened. Such a disrespectful employee.
Fantastic experience: Winter swimming. My kids and I love going here to get swim indoors. They have a kids area, lap pool, and slides. Every two hours they do a pool break which last about 10 mins. During this time all are asked to come out of the pool . They have good locker rooms with showers.
Positive experience: We love the pool but feel like the main play feature has aggressive water pressure. Nobody dares play on it because it has the force of a firehose. Not appropriate for kids or adults
Fantastic experience: Good pool, nice people. Nice hot tub.
Fantastic experience: Great staff. Super clean. My daughter enjoys taking dance class and making friends!
Positive experience: It was a fun place for a birthday party, it's all inside which is great for fall and winter but could be a little warm in the summer.
Fantastic experience: Excelente Services
Fantastic experience:
Fantastic experience: has the most important thing! An area to take cover from the intense sun, when necessary, in addition to having areas for all ages!!
Fantastic experience: Fun place and kept well cleaned. Glad they keep people's safety first.
Fantastic experience: I love the local rec center. The pool is great for the kids!
Fantastic experience: Fun place really nice pool, and gym. I like the indoor track and basketball courts.
Fantastic experience: This is a solid kid pool option. We love the price, ease of facilities and the indoor/outdoor pool is really great.
Fantastic experience: We love the legacy center for gymnastics for young kiddos. Teachers are great, front staff are so helpful and patient.
Fantastic experience: It has honestly been years since I've been here, my family and I decided to go swimming. It was pretty awesome. Got to put in a good work out while having fun with my nephew.
Negative experience: so i was at the pool and i wanted to go get food. so i got out to get the pool to get food and when i got there i asked for some chicken tenders and they said sorry our oven is closed how is an oven closed so then my friends asked for frozen yogurt and they said they aren’t using the machine rn and then someone behind asked for chicken tenders and they gave them to her plus there is chicken tenders sitting in the freaking heater and i was starving and that’s a 1 star review sorry
Fantastic experience: Love it! There is a very big bucket that dumps water on the kiddie area of the pool, creating constant noise with the filling and dumping so know that going in if you have sensory sensitivities. Great value for a family activity.
Fantastic experience: It’s a rec center. They have a small area where you can get food
Positive experience: Great place with fun activities. Soccer and basketball for kids is enjoyable here. Pool is also great. Gym is small and compact and Lehi is quickly outgrowing the rest
Fantastic experience: Great pool for kids. The deepest part is only about three feet deep. Cool water playground, lazy river, and whirlpool. There's a separate area for kids under five with waterslides and a little merry go round thing for babies.
Positive experience: it’s a good facility. i like the track better than american fork. but my experience yesterday was a little rude.. my sister and i took our daughters to walk on the track, we paid the $1.25 each and as we were walking through to the elevator with our strollers a woman with long black hair approached us, asked if we paid and to see our hand stamps…. HUH? did she really think we found a way to sneak through to avoid a $1 fee? not very welcoming experience at all. is this a common occurrence? i get if we were teens acting out but we were literally walking with our strollers in our workout clothes.. i would like to know what about is made her think she needed to CHECK our hand stamps
Negative experience: I've been having issues signing my son up for basketball online. I am a working parent, so I came in on Saturday, my day off. The girl refused to help me. Told me to go online. I told her I was having issues and she said "you can call us and we can walk you through it". And i said "ok I'm here in person, and you can't help me here?" And she said no. Super frustrating!!!!
Fantastic experience: We had tons of fun here with our 3 year old son. The water is warm, and shallow enough that parents can “lounge” while their child plays nearby. The vortex pool and lazy river are super fun as well. We’ll definitely be back. The complimentary life vests is a plus.
Fantastic experience: Not very crowded and had something for everyone: lazy circle, slides, hot tub, lap pool, and splash pads. In the summer they open the far wall to extend the pool space outside. Everyone had a blast! They also had life jackets available for littles at no charge and baby diapers for sale. We’ll be going back again.
Fantastic experience: So my 4 year old goes here for preschool. The kid to teacher ratio is outstanding and they are always so inviting. Christian has grown leaps and bounds and brings home the cutest projects. When it’s holidays they exceed with costumes and activities…and even though this program is just 2 hours it’s the highlight of his day. The best part of my day is picking him up because he bounces out the door with the biggest smile on his face. It’s a perfect fit for my family
Negative experience: American fork pool is much better. Took our kids to the pool and the lifeguards all seemed to be having a bad day and was taking it out on us. No floaties allowed, kids couldn’t play on the swings, and don’t even think about getting close to the hot tub with your kids even though we weren’t putting them in there. No worries with any of that the American fork rec pool.
Fantastic experience: So far I've been here twice and it's a very solid location. It was clean as far as I could tell and it wasn't super crowded. Price is reasonable, not sure what sorts of memberships they offer but I'm sure they're fine. Overall its a fun time!
Positive experience: I’ve been coming to this place for 15+ years, there comes a point when improvements are absolutely necessary. Workout and cardio area needs to be expanded. There’s not enough space to support the amount of people. They definitely need more equipment. Plus something is up with their drinking water… its always hot!
Positive experience: Nice facility for working out, swimming year round, or bringing your kids for one of their sporting activities offered here. The daycare is awesome as well!!! The food court is a little pricey for what you get... It's hard to swim laps during the summer before the kids get there because teams take up all the lanes. wish they would leave open a few for other paying customers. The rock climbing wall is never open!
Fantastic experience: Fun and affordable. I liked that there was an area for smaller children. The tipping bucket was a big hit.
Fantastic experience: Second time here, I love it so far, there are breaks for about 10 mintues a couple times per day to remind kids to use the restroom, large space!
Fantastic experience: Love it! There is a very big bucket that dumps water on the kiddie area of the pool, creating constant noise with the filling and dumping so know that going in if you have sensory sensitivities. Great value for a family activity.
Fantastic experience: I've been going here since I was a kid, if your looking for a fun place to take your kid in any kind of weather this is it.
Fantastic experience: Great place for many types of exercise.
Fantastic experience: Great place always clean and everyone that works there are very nice
Fantastic experience: Hacen sentir cómodo a la persona.
Negative experience: One of the only reasons we went there was because it had a hot tub for some reason the hot tub did not work when we were there little disappointed but overall it was a great experience.
Positive experience: We love swimming here. The lifeguards are a little whistle happy, but other then that we enjoy swimming.
Positive experience: Great palace but I don't know why but the pool water is always at a low temperature in winter, it's hard to take the kids out to have fun because they always come back sick.
Positive experience: I really like it here except that there’s no spin/cycle bikes for use out of a class. And the classroom is locked. Might try a different gym over it.
Negative experience: This rec center is a joke! Always full and old! Small areas for training! Lehi has grown considerable to get a new rec center! I was in the middle of a swim and they ask me to leave because they were going to use the pool for a private event! No signs, nothing! Lehi needs to invest in rec center and other facilities instead of just building more houses and businesses!!!!
Positive experience: I’ve been trying to enroll my daughter in the itty bitty programs…. The baseball one was great. However, we just finished the soccer one and it did not go well at all. She went to 2 days and refused to go back. They put her in a group of all boys, a few of which were really mean to her, so she was miserable the whole time.
Positive experience: Fun pool, but the water was a bit on the cooler side. It was Spring Break when we went and very busy. Lots of children splashing in the water. There is a lazy river that goes in a circle. Our 8 year old really likes the big slide and the playground under the bucket that tips over after 5-10-ish minutes of filling. There is also a hot tub and pool for laps.
Positive experience: This place is fun but there are strange things that happen. Periodically they have “pool break” where everyone is taken out of the pool and they stand around for 10 mins. It’s the weirdest thing ever… imagine going to lagoon and they say “no rides time”. Also the outdoor area is closed and the big slide is broken. Overall it’s good but they have a few quirks.
Fantastic experience: I absolutely loved working here!!! Having worked as a lifeguard at different facilities and then coming to the legacy center was definitely a positive change for me. I love the professionalism that the Aquatics department encourages for each lifeguard, head lifeguard, and swim instructor. I definitely recommend working here!
Positive experience: Daughter does gymnastics at the legacy center. The teachers are young but attentive. My daughter has progressed well during her time there. They are always on time starting and ending. The facilities are clean and there is plenty of equipment to learn on.
Positive experience: This place is great and cheap. For 5 dollars you can spend the whole day swimming there. The only thing is the pools are usually crowded and it always wreaks of bleach and urine. So the pool isn't great, but the gym and the basketball courts they've got are pretty nice. But if your wanting a place to take your kids on a boring summer day, or you want a cheap group activity, I'd definitely recommend the pool.
Positive experience: It's great for little kids, older kids not as much. The slide though is absolutely awesome. Also for the hot tub, you must be 14 to enter. My brother couldn't get in the hot tub which made him sad so you should warn people under the age of 14 that they won't be able to enter the hot tub. If you have any little, I definitely reccomend this place!!
Fantastic experience: Great place to spend time with the family or to workout.
Fantastic experience: This is exactly what I needed. Today marks day 1 of going to the gym and not giving up in 3 weeks like always!!!
Fantastic experience: I usually just come here for swimming, but there are many other things you can do here! They have classes that can teach many different subjects; gyms to play basketball or many other sports in; big and safe swimming pools to dip in and cool off; even a big park outside to rest and check out activities they might have provided. If you’re looking for fun, this place is where you want to be! Enjoy my five stars, Legacy Center—you deserve it!
Fantastic experience: Fun Lehi days parade!!
Fantastic experience: Very fun, water slide is awesome, and the kids playground is nice too. Also, there are other nice things to do besides swim. Overall, amazing!
