Fantastic experience: I wish that I could go back in time and start my sons many years ago training with Coach Callahan. It's been a great experience! If you have a teenage kid(s) that is playing sports (or not), I'd highly recommend having them train with Coach. Money well spent!!!!

Fantastic experience: There is the place you go when you are serious about your purpose. Metal music! Many guys on social media ask for places like these. It's a gem, and there are not many like it left. I've been around gyms since the 80's. You don't need to know more, you know what I am talking about.

Fantastic experience: This is my go-to gym when visiting the Roswell area. The equipment is plentiful and well maintained, owner/coach Calahan is supportive and friendly (I haven't met Anna yet), and the fellow gym-goers create a very positive environment. They are very welcoming of drop-ins and go out of their way to make you feel at home.

Fantastic experience: I walked into this gym for the first time back in April 2022 because I wanted to fix my back, which would just go out on its own - you know, I have one of those desk jobs, always sitting - everything was tight and out of balance. At 54+, I still have a long way to go and I know too many folks that think back surgery and pills are the answer - that's just not me. I asked Callahan and Anna to "fix" me, and that I wanted to learn how to squat and deadlift PROPERLY. I took some private lessons, had Callahan draft up a program, and I began to train and work myself into the gym and its professional, welcoming, and friendly culture. Almost a year later now and I am stronger than ever before, and much safer in comparison to my CrossFit days. Back pain is a distant memory and I'm more focused these days on proper execution. I've gone from just barely being able to support 185 lbs. across my back on spindly legs to squatting just under 350 lbs., and SAFELY. I can't even begin to describe what a gift this is. I wasn't planning on it, it just happened with Callahan and Anna's support, and just as importantly support from the other members of the gym, that and commitment. This place is awesome and addicting! If you have kids you love and want the best for them, you send them here. If you want to compete, you come here. If you're middle-aged and in a rut, you come here. If you're old and do not want to leave this world falling down, breaking a hip, going to the hospital, and having them fast-track your exit from this world, you come here. And, important note, DO NOT let Callahan catch you staring at your cell phone while sitting on his gym equipment. You want health, strength and longevity, you come here. You want selfies? Go someplace else and lovingly stare into the mirror at yourself - good luck with that. Jim

Negative experience: I have been calling and calling this business with no return or email or anything. I only had a few simple questions about the facility but it seems no one is doing their job. Who would want to join a gym that fails to answer a simple phone call? What happens in case of emergencies? I think I’ll take my chances elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: One of the best gyms I have been to! Roswell Barbell has literally every single piece of equipment you need for powerlifting, strongman, bodybuilding, whatever you want to do. They have safety squat bars, Buffalo bars, power bars, deadlift bars, atlas stones, sleds, prowlers…you get my point. Everything you need for anything strength or hypertrophy related. Talk to Callahan or Anna and they will hook you up! I live out of town but always train here when back in town. Awesome environment and extremely fair pricing

Fantastic experience: Was in town visiting family, and needed to lift. The gym was not crowded and the staff was extremely friendly and had everything I needed. Racks, bench, machines, etc they had it. Will be back when I’m in town!

Fantastic experience: I am a strongman competitor I am a athlete for Vikings power lifting Savannah GA. Me and three other team members went up there and spent the weekend. These awesome people took us in and treated us like family. By the time we left we felt like we have known these people our entire life. I highly recommend everybody in the Atlanta area to stop and meet these wonderful people. I will be making a lot more trips up there in the near future.

I loved the gym from the moment I stepped in...Great Atmosphere...very warm and welcoming...needed a place to lift for the day and Roswell Barbell was in the area and the gym was very beautifully maintained all the equipment in the world for powerlifting...if I’m ever in the Atlanta area I will definitely return to this place 10/5 stars
