Fantastic experience: I have been going to Metroflex Plano this past year since I moved to the area and this is one of the best gyms I have been to. Hardcore bodybuilding atmosphere but also one of the cleanest gyms I’ve trained at. There are projectors playing old school Ronnie, Branch and jay cutler training at all times. The owner takes pride in equipment selection and making sure the members are taken care of. Highly recommend if you are in the DFW area!

Fantastic experience: Outstanding gym. These guys work really hard to keep this place nice and clean while still rocking the old school bodybuilding gym equipment. Miguel and Merrick demonstrated exceptional service and I appreciate all their help. This gym had the best squat leg press machine I’ve ever used. Definitely come here if you’re serious about working hard and giving your all in the gym, because this is the perfect environment for that!

Paid for the day pass about a week ago and after visiting other gyms this is definitely the one for me. about to get a membership

Fantastic experience: Great gym with amazing equipment. Cables are great, every attachment you can imagine, machines for every movement you could want. Staff is making sure machines are maintained and smooth. Organization is great. Feels like everyone is welcome, regardless of experience level. Came for the first time with a friend and when exploring the outside, we were not familiar with the strongman equipment and it must have been obvious enough for someone from staff to offer a helping hand and guide us and to recommend a starting point. Can’t recommend this place enough and if you can afford to make a trip, I would recommend it.

Negative experience: Accountability, ironically, seems to be something the management here struggles with—whether it’s taking ownership of poor customer service, equipment maintenance, or addressing valid concerns with professionalism and respect. If you’re looking for a place that values its members, you might want to look elsewhere. Accountability is key for a successful business.

Fantastic experience: Top tier gym in the North Dallas area. Cleaned very often. Ron, the owner, goes out of his way to meet all members and greet them. Atmosphere cannot be beaten. Gym is constantly getting upgraded as well. Cannot recommend Metroflex Plano enough.

Fantastic experience: Everyone ignore the few most recent reviews that are one star. It’s a bunch of fake accounts from an upset former member who snuck somebody into the gym without paying and then had his membership revoked. The owner, Ron, is an upstanding individual WITH STANDARDS and a genuinely good dude, he keeps the place clean and brings in new equipment and runs the gym well. Always recommend this place to people.

Negative experience: Metroflex Gym is awful. The equipment is broken and filthy, and the whole place feels neglected. Worst of all, the owner is incredibly rude and dismissive, to paying customers With such poor management and attitude, it’s not worth stepping foot in this gym.

Positive experience: love this gym but the only aspect that could be improved on is the restroom, it’s mostly dirty especially the ladies restroom, the handwashing sink is always dirty

Fantastic experience: Outstanding gym! Excellent hardcore equipment. Open 24/7 for members and easy to purchase a day or week pass for visitors. Ron is the owner and is onsite every day and is incredibly helpful and friendly. Cable attachments are organized and easy to find. Cages are fully equipped with plates, bars and clamps. Super free weight section with old school weights! Excellent outdoor area for lifting/lunges/sprints! Private posing room with all angles of mirrors and lighting. Preworkout drinks and protein drinks/snacks are plentiful and available for purchase at the front desk. I can’t say enough about this gym. It was so great to visit today that I decided to join before I left! Give MetroFlex Plano a visit! You'll be glad you did!

Fantastic experience: If Google had the option I’d give Metroflex even more stars. Been a member since 2017 and I’ve seen this gym undergo massive transformation into what it is now. Management is incredible and has created the ideal training environment with upgraded equipment and a vision to continually improve. It’s an addictive environment, and the members provide encouragement I haven’t seen outside of a team environment. If you’re looking to check it out, go ahead. You won’t regret it!

Fantastic experience: Best gym in the area by a mile. There’s working out and there’s training. Bodybuilder, power lifter, strongman , this is your gym. This is where people go to train who have goals and are serious about reaching them. Ron is serious and doesn’t cut corners.People are great , shakes, pre workouts are available to buy and he doesn’t overcrowd with memberships just for money. Metroflex has changed my training with offering the tools and equipment you just won’t find anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: I had to recently cancel my membership for my own reasons, but I want to give this place a 5 star review with how simple it was to cancel. No complicated process that takes months to go through, no need to send some certified letter to their home office, just walked in, asked to cancel and that's it. With how hard it is to cancel memberships at other places i have to give credit where it's due. The gym is great, and has seen many improvements in the 2 years I've been here. Would recommend to anyone in the area

If you are serious about getting in shape, the owners Chris and Ryan will not hesitate to assist you in your goals. Great hours, atmosphere, community, and equipment are just a taste of what is offered. How many other gyms personally encourage you to use chalk and become your best? Fantastic experience: Hands down one of the best all-around gyms in the DFW area. Strongman, Powerlifting, Bodybuidling, etc. All are welcome and you don't have to worry about judgement. Every member I have come across is willing to help if needed. Hardcore family-style atmosphere.

Fantastic experience: Metroflex Plano is the best gym hands down I have ever been privileged to be a part of. The owners and staff are second to none and treat you as if you are family. Metroflex Plano is where you get it done! I have found my tribe and gave gotten more value in the first month at Metroflex Plano than all my other years combined at other facilities. Not many people know I used to manage a women's fitness gym in Pensacola, FL and know what it takes to treat people well, keep things going, and give great advice. Fantastic experience: Best gym around by far and worth every cent. Even if you don’t like working out, you will; after being around such chill people who are not there just to “look pretty,” but actually work out. Feels more like a workout playground than a stuffy gym. My husband and I love it!

Negative experience: They are only open 24hrs for members only.. if u show up on a saturday after 2 u can not get a day pass... these hours should be stated so people dont drive 30 minutes across the city to get there and not be able to use the gym... many other gyms like these have access set up to allow people to pay at the door through paypal or venmo and still get in.

As a member we receive first priority so we don’t have to wait in line! The owner, Ryan goes above and beyond to make sure everything is running smoothly and is always very professional and apologetic if I have to wait for a few people to leave before I can go in so to make sure he doesn’t exceed the 25% capacity rule right now. I love how I can order my meat straight from a local farm and pick it up after my workout. Metroflex is down to earth and the atmosphere is awesome. The trainers are awesome and I've recommended the gym to several co workers.

Fantastic experience: Love, love, love this place! Definitely down to earth family atmosphere. People don’t sit around on phones taking selfies hogging the weights. Everyone is in there to do work! I see people help each other out and also rally together to root someone on when lifting heavy. They just went 24/7 which is a huge plus!

Fantastic experience: If you want to move to the next level of strength Metroflex Plano is where it is at. The atmosphere, coaches and equipment are unmatched for Strongman, Powerlifting or overall conditioning. I had never participated in a Strongman event and trained with Chris Close and ended up performing feats I never had before and placed 3rd place in my first Strongman competition.
