Snap Fitness Island Lake

Fantastic experience: Every summer when my family and I come back to Island Lake, one of the first things we do is head to Snap Fitness. It honestly feels like coming home. Jamie, Loreli, and the entire staff are just incredible—so friendly, welcoming, and always quick to get us set up in the system so we can jump right back into our routine without missing a beat. What I love most about this place is how clean and well-kept everything always is. The equipment is up to date, the gym is spotless, and I genuinely feel safe and comfortable every time I walk in. It’s not just a gym—it’s a space that makes you feel cared for. The pricing is also super reasonable for everything they offer, and whether you’re brand new to working out or someone who trains regularly, this gym has it all. The atmosphere is supportive, never intimidating, and the staff go above and beyond to make sure everyone feels seen and valued. Thank you to Jamie, Loreli, and the whole Island Lake Snap Fitness team for always making us feel so welcome year after year. We absolutely love it here and can’t recommend it enough!

Fantastic experience: Really clean facility with premium machines in the small space they have. Early in the morning it isn't crowded at all and it is very easy to use the equipment you need. I see the other gym goers as another positive. People go there to get their work out done and get to work. No sitting on machines diddling on their cells like at other gyms.

Fantastic experience: The atmosphere is upbeat and there is equipment available. The app shows the “crowd meter” for any given time. The express room and hydro bed massage are great! The staff is friendly and helpful.

Fantastic experience: The gym is really spacious and there is a lot to do. They also have hydro massage beds and massage chairs that work wonders after your workout!

Fantastic experience: The team leader was so understanding about me loosing my card and the fees that come with it. I was more than happy to rejoin after the major COVID Restrictions and scares.

Fantastic experience: Awesome place to exercise and very welcoming place - super clean and just the perfect place with every equipment that helps you get in shape. They have great exercise groups in the afternoons too which I’m looking for. Highly recommend this fitness place

Negative experience: I called and left a message in November to cancel my membership since there is no Snap Fitness near my new residence. No response. I called several times in December, and again in January, February and now March, leaving multiple messages for the owner Renee to cancel my membership but still no response, yet they continued to withdraw $34.98 for my monthly dues. Now I've had to pay the bank a $30 fee to stop the automatic monthly charges just to cancel my membership. This is very disheartening and unprofessional to have to go through these costs and extreme measures just to cancel my membership.

Fantastic experience: The staff is awesome, the members are great and very positive/supportive. Very welcoming for new members and people that have just started there getting fit career. Gym size is not to big and not to small. Alot better then most gyms I have been to at a very reasonable price. Thanks snap keep up the great work!
