Their equipment is great, their coaching is clear, and they always take the time to explain proper form and tailor workouts to my goals. 10/10 recommend if you’re in the Old Town area.

Fantastic experience: One of the best gyms in Old Town Alexandria! You’ll also find some of the best personal trainers here — like my guy Sekou Kaba, who helped me when I was looking for a place to train. Great equipment and a super clean gym overall.

Positive experience: Hours are great, but the machines need to be curated. • Missing a back lateral row machine (could switch one of the two leg press machines for this) • Needs more cycling machines and fewer ellipticals judging by usage (never seen more than 3x ellipticals in use at one time) • Could use mirrors in the calisthenics area Other potential trades include the arm curl/extension Cybex machines and the Abdominal Cybex. Other features in the gym already account for these movements.

Fantastic experience: This is an awesome gym! The owner, David, is incredibly friendly and welcoming. He understands people's predicaments and tries to accommodate as best possible. He also listens to his customers' feedback. I made one suggestion about the gym, and he followed through with my suggestion and it continues to this day. I think this gym is as close to perfect as it can get. Very rarely is a machine out of service or a TV not working. In fact, I don't think I've ever seen a TV not working in the year I've been going to this gym. Truly excellent customer service.

Positive experience: I decided not to join after visiting - it had all the equipment but was in a very narrow alley-like building with little light or room to move around. 24 hour access was good but couldn’t see myself there late. For $50 a month probably a good deal but I’ll look to pay more for better amenities.

I highly recommend you give Snap fitness a try they have no contract to lock you in with like outher fitness centers so that gives them an adge up on the others as well.try them you will like them.

Positive experience: Great small gym nestled in Old Town Alexandria, and even when it's busy there is no problem getting use of a machine. A bit more relaxing than many of the bigger gyms and it has most of the essentials.

Fantastic experience: A good gym if you live in Old Town. It's always clean and the equipment is rarely broken or out of order (I'd never seen a machine down for the year that I was a member). I do wish that they had a squat rack and a real bench but I understand why they don't. I also could never figure out which remote belonged to which tv.

Negative experience: I hurt myself on an eliptical here, continued to pay dues for over a year whIle trying to rehab to the point of HIIT training again. I moved away and management stuck to the contract terms of cancellation so I will pay an extra month, had I cancelled 8 days sooner I would be free and clear. Terrible way to end 2+ years of membership.

Fantastic experience: Snap is such a perfect workout solution for me. I love having 24 hour access and how I can even find snap gyms when I travel!
