Negative experience: A Joke facility Small Changing Area with 2 open view showers Don't expect any extras from this gym, 50% of they're "10,000 sq ft" Are bathrooms,offices and A room with the best equipment for classes and private session not for solo member use. Everything is cramped and crammed into Facility, and after being a member for almost a year and a half when you cancel, they will screw you for another $60 by tricking you at sign up buyer beware!!! Do Not Recommend!

Positive experience: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Workout Anytime Knoxville/Powell location is a great gym that I would confidently rate four out of five stars. The spacious layout, wide variety of equipment, and thoughtful organization make it an ideal spot for both seasoned athletes and those who focus on CrossFit or HIIT-style training. I genuinely wish more Workout Anytime locations across the country were set up like this one! The only reason I’m holding back from a full five-star review is the gym’s unwillingness to offer full access to all amenities for Premium members visiting from out of town. When I originally signed up with Workout Anytime, I was promised full amenity access at any location nationwide, so it's disheartening to be limited here. That said, the gym itself is fantastic — clean, well-organized, and packed with equipment. If they added amenities like a sauna, steam room, and cold plunge (which other locations have), this location would truly be next level.

Fantastic experience: It's a nice gym. Equipment is good and it's a clean atmosphere. The staff is friendly. Usually not too busy. They have free weights and equipment. They offer some classes. They have a tanning bed and a hydro-massage chair.

Employees and fellow gym-goers are always friendly and helpful. Best gym I've ever been to, and it's the least expensive, absolutely great value, you won't be disappointed.

Negative experience: I had a membership and only went for 2 months. I continued to pay for nothing for < 3 years. Recently, after years of receiving my money for nothing, instead of canceling my membership upon non-payment… this institution sent my account to collections What are you collecting? MORE MONEY FOR NOTHING!? Do not sign up here! Not only will you never attend, your credit score will suffer for it! HORRIBLE BUSINESS, what kind of people have to be running this to allow that to happen? There is now a blemish on my credit report because I paid these “people” for literally NOTHING! DO NOT ASSOCIATE WITH THIS GYM!!!! Also, good luck not sliding off the side of their TERRIBLE benches.. or balancing their crooked barbells on your shoulders… The equipment provided at this subpar gym will only promote imbalances AT BEST! More likely, you’ll injure yourself trying to use their inadequate machinery! You’d be better off going across the lot to lil Cs because at least you’d be getting what you pay for over there.. seriously, do not make the mistake of giving this place your money… they’ll rob you and ruin your credit. And for the topping on all of that… if you are anything other than a white straight male… be prepared to hear/experience blatant racism/sexism… by owners or possibly friends of them..? Overall just stay far away!!!! (Edit) In response to the owner: not true. I became an alcoholic in august 2022 quit my job and literally didn’t leave my house — except to buy alcohol — until January of this year. I went to you location in feb hoping to speak with you, too bad I missed you.

Fantastic experience: Great gym and have been going for years. Ignore the one star reviews, looks like they were made by kids or are fake reviews (or clowns). Staff is excellent. Can get crowded sometimes at peak hours though but I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: A great gym! Clean and welcoming. I've been a member here for almost 4 years and it's one of the nicest gyms I've ever been to. Top quality equipment, which is well cared for. The owners, Staff, and even other members care about keeping the place clean and being respectful to others.

Fantastic experience: I love this gym. I used to go to the one in halls but I started going to this one in Powell instead bec. Even tho it's a bit farther away the staff is much friendlier and the accommodations are just better to my liking. The bathroom isn't as private in the shower part but that's not a big deal for me. But they get to kno u by name and they ask u how you've been every time u come in. And then their stand up tanning bed is just so powerful and awesome too. And their facility is always clean af too which I love.

Negative experience: So I work 14 hours a day 7 days a week so I decided to approach workout anytime and see if I could find when I could hire a personal trainer and purchase a membership unfortunately when I tried to open the front door of course it was locked there was no one at the front desk I waited about as long as I was going to wait and so I turned around and left as I left I did call and of course I did not get an answer so I decided not to purchase a membership

Fantastic experience: Recently, I had to relocate to another state for a few months for work. My clear plan was to find another Workout Anytime location in that state to continue my workout routine, expecting it to be just as good as my home location in Powell, TN. To my utter dismay, machines were broken, equipment was filthy, and the showers were criminal with black mold on the curtains. Instantly, in my mind, my home location went from “good” to “GREAT!” It made me really appreciate all the effort that the Powell crew puts into the facilities to make it a clean, and beneficial experience. As of yet, no gym I’ve visited compares to Workout Anytime, Powell. ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Negative experience: I went as a guest with my brother who was a member to the Kingston pike location across the street from the Chop House. They demanded my credit card to even use the facilities as guest and said I would not be charged for my first 3 visits. The location does not exist anymore and they hit my credit 4 years later for $175… horrible company.

Fantastic experience: One of the cleanest gyms you will ever step foot in. Friendly staff who make it a point to learn members' names and go above and beyond to keep the facilities clean. It's not just a gym but feels like a community. Members are very friendly who work out here and everyone is considerate of each other. I always feel better after going here! Give this gym a try - they have personal trainers and bootcamp classes for extra, but it's worth it if you prioritize your health. The best money you will ever spend is on your wellness.

Negative experience: Couldn't even set foot in to join because they had the doors locked. Failed their name. The greenway next to the mall is free, btw. No unavailable staff required. Empty lot cuz they fail their premise.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love the welcoming atmosphere of this gym! I am always greeted at the door with a smile! I hired a personal trainer here and he is very knowledgeable and helpful and I am meeting my fitness goals.

Fantastic experience: The tanning beds are great here and the hydro bed is more secluded than other local workout anytime locations in the area. They have really good squat racks and dead lifting area. Great atmosphere to get a good pump. My home location is halls but I go to Powell often

Fantastic experience: I went to planet fitness for years ,but if I could go back in time I would have started going to this place for years. It has a great environment with great music. The people there are super nice and it has all the equipment you need for bodybuilding and cardio. Planet fitness stopped doing 24/7 and that is what brought me here and it was 100% worth it! This is my life time gym.

Negative experience: Cancelled my membership 3 months ago still charging me every month ever know I talked to them numerous time and they keep telling me they cancelled it. Also they were telling me the refunded the money the last two times took them on there word and just realized they never did and lied. Plus they just took another payment today. I am currently at another gym getting told they are doing the same to many others. Stay away for this gym very shady place.

Fantastic experience: I come in during the early morning hours. Everyone has been kind and willing to help other members. However, the most important part of the facility is, it is clean. Ryan does a fantastic job cleaning and organizing. Myself and other members recognize his hard work. This is not the closest Workout Anytime to my house. It’s further than another location by 3 miles and I drive to the Powell location six days a week because it is clean. I have been to 5 other Workout Anytime clubs from Chattanooga to Lynchburg, VA and this is by far the cleanest facility.

Fantastic experience: I haven’t been able to work out for years mainly due to medical issues so I was really nervous about joining a gym I didn’t know anything about. I spoke with Terry over the phone at the Powell location to get some information. She was lovely and made me feel very comfortable before I even walked into the facility. When I made it to the gym two days later Terry gave me a tour of the facility and I was impressed with how clean everything was and the equipment they have. I have been a member since May of this year and have enjoyed working out there plus I really like the staff. They make me feel like family. I recommend this gym to anyone looking to join.

Fantastic experience: Not only is this a very clean, friendly, great priced, and very well run Gym with everything anyone could want including an excellent Boot Camp Training program.....It is owned by a man with a very kind Spirit and I can only do my part in leaving a great review wishing him the best business success. One very early and cold morning I was in my car waiting for Boot Camp to open and witnessed the owner of the Gym pull up and confront what was a decently dressed, but clearly homeless man sleeping in front of the Gym. Instead of telling the man to leave or threatening to call police....the owner greeted the man, introduced himself, then shook the man's hand. The owner then from what I could tell, allowed the man to come inside and allowed him a hot shower. I don't know what happened after that or if there was more support, but I am sure that made the man's day and he probably needed it. This business just deserves the best success and really is a great Gym!

Fantastic experience: This is hands down the best gym in the Knoxville/Powell area! Great friendly staff, clean workout facility, and a good environment to exercise in. They offer a variety of services and even have unlimited tanning and massage bed visits with premium membership. This place is AWESOME!

Negative experience: I use to live this Workout Anytime was member of oak ridge location for years. Oak Ridge closed and had to start going to Powell. Went with a different plan this time. I have been to location willing to pay to stop contract when expires. So it will not renew automatically. Was told after I drove 30 mins out of my way on August 11th to Powell location. That I could only do online and couldn’t at location. Then the card I was given has wrong account info and website. Called 3 times to Powell location since and have been given 2 different ways and then was told after moving out state that I need to come to location to cancel. Either poor training or lack of communication between staff members. But I’m the end just horrible customer service. I will make sure anytime I’m asked by friends and family still in area not to use Powell location or WorkOut anytime. Also I never put reviews. But all the run around I have gotten I thought people would want to know.

Fantastic experience: Went on a Sunday so it was nice and quiet. Plenty of equipment and variety. Would like to see some smaller barbells as I am new to that but otherwise a real good place to workout.

When I come and when I leave, the staff and members check on me. Cindy and the Silver Sneakers are critical for my recovery. At this gym, I can also access the machines I need to have a full recovery. I couldn’t recover without Workout Anytime in Powell TN. Thank you so so much! Update: 4 months later and I’m getting stronger. Although my schedule will no longer allow me to go to Silver Sneakers, with the help of John, Gina & their crew I am recovering! They are my gym ‘family’ :) They help me anyway they can from the time I pull up to the time I leave and I appreciate them so much! The gym has everything I need to recover - with the exception of parallel bars used in PT. The environment is an environment where iron sharpens iron. This gym remains to be the best gym I’ve ever been a member of!

Fantastic experience: Workout Anytime your fitness and your schedule gym club has great membership specials. My two sons and I had received the red carpet tour, by one of the managers at the Workout Anytime Powell location. The entire staff was really friendly and helpful in helping my oldest choose the perfect gym membership. Most of all this gym was super fresh and clean, they had the best state of the arts gym equipment.

Positive experience: Nice facility.. more spacious than some. They don't have the cleaning bottle, micro fiber towels, or sweat towels that some have... But they do have a person during business hours that walks around and cleans the machines. Mens locker room isn't that nice... But space in the weight rooms is more important to me.

Fantastic experience: I have not worked out since before Covid-19. Finally feeling safe and ready to get back in shape and lose weight, I joined the Workout Anytime in Powell, TN. My son has worked out there for years and had told me it was awesome. He was right! So thankful to Cindy who assisted me in signing up and joining her Silver Sneakers classes. She is amazing! Classes are perfect for me to get back to the gym with several joint and tissue disorders. I highly recommend WOA in Powell, TN.

Positive experience: I would of given them 5 stars but went two days while I was visiting and one day was 5 dollars and then the next day they charged me 10 dollars. The young kid behind the counter was not very proessional. I did go to the Oak Ridge facility and it was 5 dollars.

Positive experience: The staff is great the environment is well stocked and overall kind the only downfall is it’s always busy which if you own the gym that’s great but for me going I wish it wasn’t always so packed . More of a cult or hangout But everyone is getting their gym on make no mistake . Wish they had classes for diff things .

They have a great staff that includes Seth and Rayn that will help with all your questions and spot you on those heavy reps. As someone that has been a member of those supposedly better gym's you cannot find a better value for your money than Workout Anytime.
