Fantastic experience: Love this gym, huge variety of equipment and they've revamped the place (new plates, layout adjustment, new racks, and painting/decor) in the year and a half I've been a member. Many gyms charge fees and you never see it used to improve the facility. You can tell armor gym is truly committed to providing the best experience and equipment. The staff is super helpful and friendly as well. I came here as a beginner with only a little knowledge of weightlifting so initially this place intimidated me, but everyone is welcoming and no matter what exercise you do there's something for everyone! You won't be disappointed

Fantastic experience: Amazing facility. High quality equipment. Great for powerlifting with all Texas bars, calibrated plates and a monolift, along with dumbbells up to 200lbs. They also play good music which is a plus.

Fantastic experience: Nothing beats Armor in Knoxville, it really isn't much a competition either. The atmosphere is unrivaled, the staff play music that can actually fuel a workout instead- meaning those days where you misplace your headphones you won't be stuck listening to the same 3 songs from the radio over and over again. The staff are great, but the people there make you want to become a better version of yourself. Simply put, there's always a bigger fish. Somebody is always stronger, always bigger- and that can really motivate people. Worth the 20 minute commute and the membership cost is worth every penny.

Fantastic experience: Terrific place to train, well maintained equipment and the staff are friendly and courteous. Price is fair given the quality and variety of equipment and ample space. You're not training on top of other people like at other gyms and most of the time the equipment you want to use is available.This is definitely a gym geared for more serious lifting enthusiasts but thats a good thing as most people are respectful, polite and re-rack their weights. Armor also took lots of precautions during the early COVID phases, which I appreciate! Overall 10/10 great place, wouldn't think of going to any other gym in Knoxville

Fantastic experience: Top notch facility for all fitness goals. The equipment is plentiful and varied for those looking to train for powerlifting, bodybuilding, strongman, or just general well being. I had good interactions with the staff and could generally workout without worrying about crowding on different stations. The childcare is available during set hours and I know families who are big fans of it. I would 100% recommend Armor Gym to anyone looking to improve themselves through their chosen form of exercise.

Fantastic experience: Awesome staff friendly and helpful. Great selection of free weights and machines. Plenty sanitizer and wipes to use while there and great spacing on machines. For most part everyone respects wears mask due to Covid-19. I personally love hours of operation too.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to Armor Gym since April and have had personal training sessions with Brandon Garcia since I started. Brandon is a skillful trainer who has designed all of my workouts to be based on my goals and current fitness level. He is also very knowledgeable about the human body. He has helped me fix many imbalances and weaknesses that I had, and also chooses workouts that play to my strengths. I have noticed many improvements in both the gym and in everyday life, and many aches and pains I've had have gone away. Buying the membership and getting the personal training sessions with Brandon has been a very worthwhile investment.

Fantastic experience: Great place to work out. They have everything! It's also very clean and the employees are awesome. I am so appreciative of the child care option as well. We wouldn't be able to work out without it, and they are so great with the kids.

Fantastic experience: As someone who travels across the Eastern and Midwest United States, this is by far the best gym I have been to. All equipment is new and state-of-the-art, and there are unique machines you will not find at any other facility in the area. Aside from the great equipment, turf, and jungle gym style bar setup, the gym also has garage doors that open up so you can enjoy the warm weather.

Fantastic experience: Friendliest staff & amazing, knowledgeable trainers. Well maintained facility with quality equipment. Adding to the outstanding qualities that I just mentioned is one of the main reasons that I really enjoy this particular gym; the fact that it’s not intimidating! They make it known that EVERYONE deserves to be there. I love that! They promote encouragement & helping one another out. So, if you were hesitant because of the “show off gym rats” at another gym no worries about that being tolerated here. I highly recommend this gym!!

Fantastic experience: Feels like home. Great staff, awesome trainers, plenty of equipment, and overall great environment. This is the first gym I've committed to for more than a few weeks. Couldn't be happier. If you want saunas, pools, and having staff constantly upselling you on extra services look elsewhere. This is a no nonsense gym that lets me get in, get out, and get healthier.

Fantastic experience: Great gym, excellent atmosphere, cool equipment. It has a cool outdoor area thats fun to lift at. It's a bit more crossfit focused than I would like but all in all is a exceptional gym

Fantastic experience: This is pound-for-pound the best gym I’ve ever been to! I’ve been to about 50 different gyms across the country, and Armor Gym was my favorite. Phenomenal equipment, clean location, and great atmosphere. They even have strongman equipment like a Yoke Carry and Farmer’s bars. Such a great place!

Fantastic experience: Just in town for business and got a day pass at Armor. What an atomosphere! Probably had one of my best workouts in weeks. Great equipment, very clean, large turf area, and awesome lighting. They do play really loud music, which I thought was great. But, may not be everyone's thing, at least they had good speakers to back it up :)

Fantastic experience: The best gym in Knoxville by far. Athletes from all skill levels will love this place as there is so much equipment efficiently positioned. You can powerlift, Olympic lift, Crossfit, bodybuild, Spartan train - you name it, you can find a way to do it here. The layout of the gym is simply perfect. I personally train here 5-6 days a week and never have overcrowding issues. I'm able to respectfully circuit/crosstrain with very little worry of interfering with someone else's workout or having mine disrupted. Generally speaking, members here are really nice and care about the wellness of others. I think Armor had a really good gym culture even though little effort has been put into that. Overall, I couldn't be happier and you should train here!

Fantastic experience: Loving it! They typically play rock, hip hop, or dubstep mixes - so my only complaint might be that I wish they played a little more of the rock and dubstep, because it seems like they're playing hip hop mixes most of the time when we're there. Equipment is excellent, varied, and professional - including bodyweight centers, indoor and outdoor areas, tires and sledgehammers, a little of every type of cardio, and an MMA ring for sparring and such. Locker rooms are not super large, but they're clean and nice with showers and plenty of lockers. There's an excellent turf area along one whole wall for ground work, with yard lines, yoga balls, mats, a sled, risers, etc. for anything you might need to do there. We haven't found that there's a single piece of equipment we want our have seen elsewhere that they don't have. They don't have a pool or spa or anything, if you want that, but that's not exactly what this gym is for anyway. There's childcare, if you need it. Come here to be awesome, not be pampered.

Fantastic experience: Hands down best gym in East Tennessee. On par with Gold's Venice and Powerhouse in Tampa. Never crowded due to the extensive selection of machinery, spaciousness, and large free weight and oly lifting area. Huge turf area is great for athletic work, and the new outdoor area will be an awesome addition. Love training here.

Fantastic experience: Arsenal Strength Training Facility is the best gym in Knoxville hands down! The staff is always friendly and extremely helpful! They have the best equipment, facility, and trainers around! If you're looking for a place to work out at in the Knoxville area, Arsenal is the place to go!

Fantastic experience: Great GYM for lifters, Bodybuilders or strength training. Excellent equipment, new facilities, friendly staff. Everyone there looks great, I highly recommend this gym to anyone that is serious about working out. A great place to get in shape and to see your body change in as little as 3 months. For big genres I recommend using one of the trainers, they are worth their money, they will help you a achive your goal much faster. Don't reinvent the weel people. I train on a regular basis and was a 2 national mentalist .i love this place. Unfortunately im live in California so i can only come here when visiting .

Fantastic experience: Superb gym in a huge warehouse. Excellent staff very courteous and friendly. I drove down 3hours to do some photography in there and both my client and myself were super content. Definitely Will be coming back

Fantastic experience: No matter what kind of training you're into, this gym has everything you need. Bodybuilding, functional fitness, strength training you name it, this gym has it. Great open layout, plenty of NEW equipment. Clean gym. I've travelled all over the U.S. and this is by far one of the best gyms I've been to. I'm a military guy so I travel a decent amount and the staff went out of their way to accommodate me so I could use the gym. Check this place out!

Fantastic experience: Amazing facility that motivates you the minute you walk through the door. The staff is friendly and professional. The facility is clean & organized. There's something for every fitness level and top notch trainers to help you along the way. Community involvement is huge and they are always offering new classes, tip for a healthier lifestyle and it's a Naked Food Pick-Up location. My husband and I are very pleased with what Arsenal has to offer.

Fantastic experience: Pretty much the best gym in the area for those who are serious about training whether your goal is bodybuilding/physique oriented, or strength oriented (powerlifting, weightlifting, strongman). It's a state of the art facility with some of the best equipment and best people around creating a serious but fun atmosphere for anyone who is serious about accomplishing their fitness related goals. If you're just looking for a casual workout, perhaps this isn't the best place, but if you are looking to work hard and get results, Arsenal is THE place to be in Knoxville!
