Negative experience: No opener this morning. A line of 20 - 40 people waiting to start their workout before work. Waited 20 minutes and left along with everybody else. Is this location/brand reliable?

That said, we always encourage mutual respect and awareness among members, feel free to approach them or a staff member to request that they avoid you in the video. As Albuquerque’s top gym, we’re committed to maintaining a welcoming and professional atmosphere where all members feel comfortable and supported during their workouts.
Fantastic experience: Great equipment and gym floor. Locker rooms could definitely use some work, but everything else is awesome! Staff is amazing!

Negative experience: Such a poorly run gym the steam room has been down for a month they keep saying they will fix it and never do also the jets in hot tub have been down for a week the management here is terrible so worthless and lazy

Fantastic experience: Great gym, love their classes and childcare. Their bathrooms need some help tho.
Negative experience: This place has just kept going downhill. Prices go up, facilities are still dirty, broken down, and falling apart. All they did was slap some shiny new stucco on it. The staff who signed my partner and I up also lied about the terms of our contracts.

Positive experience: This is a good gym and ive been going here for years. But the music is incredibly loud like to a point i cant drown it out with head phones. I asked the staff to turn it down and they said they got yelled at for doing so. Seriously, if even the staff thinks its obnoxious shouldn't we just turn it down? Id appreciate an update to the policy because its a big enough thing for me to want to leave especially since i pay 50$ to be here
Negative experience: This place is a scam, plain and simple. They report to credit bureaus. Yes, a gym. A gym reports to credit bureaus. In my opinion, that should be illegal, but clearly this place doesn’t care about what’s ethical, just what gets them paid. I signed up for one membership. Checked my credit card and was being charged for two. I emailed them immediately and got a useless reply about being dissatisfied with equipment, which had nothing to do with my actual complaint. Either no one reads the emails or they just send random copy-paste replies to make it look like they’re doing something. So I called the location. They told me to call corporate. I called corporate multiple times. Left voicemails. Never got a call back. Does anyone even work there? Or do they just sit around waiting for people to give up and stop calling? After two full months of being charged for an extra membership I didn’t sign up for, I gave up and changed my credit card number so they couldn’t keep draining money from me. No refund. No apology. No resolution. Then, almost a YEAR later, guess what shows up on my credit report. Yep. They sent it to collections. And to make it worse, the debt collectors literally told me they aren’t allowed to negotiate anything on behalf of Defined Fitness. So I paid ANOTHER $300 just to get it over with, and the account still shows on my credit report as "paid" instead of being removed. Great. Thanks for damaging my credit over your billing screw-up. So here I am. A year and a half later. Paid for a second membership I never agreed to. No refund. $300 out of pocket. Credit still damaged. And not a single person from this company has taken accountability. There’s a reason your corporate office has a 1.2-star rating. You’ve earned every bit of it. I’m posting this at every location so other people don’t get trapped like I did. This company does not care about its customers. Do better.
Fantastic experience: Best gym in town. They struggle to keep it clean, but I think they genuinely try. Broken equipment is repaired quickly and they are continuously upgrading the facility. I would not go anywhere else.
Negative experience: Was in the middle of a workout I knew exactly what to do how to be safe how to do it correctly. One of your personal trainers decided to come up to me, interrupting my my set. Tell me to slow down without even asking what I was doing. unless I’m paying you to tell me how to lift weights… mind your business

Fantastic experience: I love this gym, there is something for everyone. They have many classes with a beautiful view of the mountains. So much equipment that there is hardly ever a wait, you can just hop on something else and come back. A nice pool, hot tub, sauna, and steam room. Lots of lockers and space. I do miss the no contract memberships. I would totally sign my son up if they didn't have a contract. I think that he would love it, but wouldn't risk it with a contract because it would be a new thing for him. They should have a trial membership for people who are on the fence.

Positive experience: Buncha complainers, whiners and sissies leaving these negative reviews! This is one of the nicest gyms I've ever seen! First of all, it's HUGE! Plenty of room, I rarely have to wait for anything.. Plus the staff is very friendly and professional...I've been to gyms in LA and NYC that DON'T EVEN COME CLOSE! Matter of fact, it's probably one of the biggest gyms in the country, if not THE! I mean, place is huge, they used to have rock concerts in there WAY BACK IN THE DAY when it was called GRAHAM CENTRAL STATION...anyone remember that? Nice, new equipment, clean and tidy locker area and restrooms...I don't understand these negative reviews, wtf?

Negative experience: Seems unethical — restrictive and overly challenging cancellation policy.

Our cancellation policies are reviewed during sign up and are standard across all of our clubs. While we hate to see anyone go we understand everyone has circumstances in which they need to cancel and are free to do so. We prefer to do this in person to understand reasoning and hear feedback while also making sure identity is confirmed for privacy and security purposes.
Negative experience: This location is decent. HOWEVER, they do not maintain their equipment. Loose hardware, grinding barbells, rattling dumbbells...etc. There are also long waits for squat racks (and this location has more than most other Defined locations) Initial impression was good, but experience showed otherwise. Regarding Cancellation: Their website states to call and ask to speak with the general manager, which I did. The woman I spoke with stated that the general manager wasn't there and that I do not need to speak with the general manager to cancel. I said, "I'd like to cancel." She stated I had to physically go into the location I signed up at and fill out some paperwork. Think of the 100s of reasons someone may not be able to physically do this. Illness, injury, death and a family member is try to cancel. What if I moved and relocated? What if I was in the hospital? Just to name a few. And if any one of those reasons allowed for cancellation over the phone then that means they have the ability to do this for everyone, but refuse. (by the way they can definitely do this {I owned a gym in another state for nearly a decade} they just want to make it more difficult to do so, resulting in you paying for another month) In summary: Decent facilities, unmaintained equipment, and, nefarious business tactics. I have been a member for just over a year, but I'm moving on. Maybe you should too.

Negative experience: Childcare staff are awful, they don't engage with the kids, I noticed they favor the workers kids. They need actual people that like to work with kids.

Fantastic experience: Great selection of equipment, from free weights to cables and machines, plus fantastic classes. It's a bit annoying that they are in the process of remodeling, but good to see the updated facility emerging. Staff are always courteous and helpful. It can get a bit crowded at peak times, but I've found times that work to go. Altogether, a positive place to workout!

She, who should command like a centurion, instead presides with neither wisdom nor resolve. Like a garrison without its general, the gym drifts into disorder. Members wander unguided, their grievances met with indifference, their concerns dismissed as idle murmurs. Fitness is not built on apathy, nor does it suffer weakness at its head. If Cathy does not rise to duty, then let it be known—Defined Fitness shall fall, undone not by rivals, but by decay within.

Positive experience: I'd say for what you pay, it's a pretty good deal compared to other nicer, more modern gyms. The pool, steam room, and hot tub are out of service WAY WAY too often. I don't understand why ya'll can't fix them right the first time? Both the pool and hot tub look like they are 5 years overdue for a power-wash and deep cleaning. Same with the floor in the sauna. I still use all of them, but come on, it's gross. Sometimes the poolside water fountain is not working as well which is annoying when you need to fill up if you are using the sauna. The men's northside locker is pretty gross as well, especially the shower stalls. But like I said, for the money, it's a good deal comparatively, if you can deal with the drawbacks.

Negative experience: I wish I could give this gym a higher rating but I have been going to the gym for the past year and management is horrible. When asking the GM Cathy to help me with my late fee she gave me smirky responses, like “I’ll wave the fee but it will come out of our employees check.” I did not feel comfortable after that day plz get back to me

Negative experience: Have any of these issues been resolved? I have been looking for a new gym and everyone recommends defined fitness but I don’t see justifying that amount per month for a facility that doesn’t live up to the price. Please get back to me.

We aren't sure which issues you are referring to but we have been New Mexico's #1 gym for a long time and take great pride in our facilities and our members. We are also reinvesting in our clubs in many ways and offer more access and more premium amenities than other gyms in the state. Fantastic experience: Overall is a great gym with good energy. Almost anytime you go it’ll be busy but everyone has good gym etiquette and will let you work in. Is a gym for more serious lifters. Only complaint is the price ($50/month) and hours (closes @10PM).

Negative experience: The platonic ideal of the obnoxious gym. Music blasting at 80 dB (I just checked) so that I can't hear what's playing on my noise cancelling headphones. Often accompanied by bro blasting his own boom box. No one wants to deal with him. Sales reps walking around pushing shots of pre workout supplements. An aquatic area that needs to be soaked in bleach. Water fountains that have been saying for weeks that the filter needs to be changed. Machines in disrepair and weights missing. But it has new paint so that justifies the $50/month fee? Honestly I'd be much more forgiving if I could listen to my own music without going deaf. This volume is obscene.

Fantastic experience: I love the Zumba classes with Cara on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9:00am. She always brings new music and I love her style. Can you add more Zumba classes on Mondays and Wednesdays mornings with Nadia. She is a great Zumba instructor too!

Negative experience: Horrible childcare and mid gym for $50!! They upped their prices for “improvement“ meaning they painted and put up a new sign. The girls in the Kids Club sit on their phones every time I walk in and don’t even try to play with my baby who’s 1. I plan on canceling and going elsewhere

The price increase has resulted in many upgrades for our Sandia Club as well as many other clubs with much more still to come.

Negative experience: Horrible. This location has had a broken shower running water for at least three months. I let the staff know many months ago and it still hasn’t been fixed. Completely irresponsible. Leaving this Review here until they fix the issue. Horrible waste of water. Ridiculous. UPDATE: they already told me they were working on it months ago there is no excuse for this not being fixed.

Fantastic experience: Sometime ago, I wrote a review of the Defined Fitness Club in Albuquerque that was an unfair assessment of the club. I have been suffering from a pinched nerve in my lowerback for the past 4 months and the hot tub at the club has been a blessing but on the day that I wrote the bad review, "No hot water in the showers." I was experiencing excruciating pain and the hot tub was out of order and there was no hot water in the showers, an occurrence that has happened only twice that I can remember in 16 years of my membership, and not repeatedly. The Defined Fitness Club is definitely the best Fitness Club that I have been to. The club has the most versatile piece of effective fitness equipment for a full body workout and an array of amenities that are always working. Negative experience: I can only speak about the aqua center. Have explained to the staff that It is often very low in water and on 4 occasions, someone has filled it when we are in it (mid-morning). Then, it’s too cold to reap the benefits. We suggested that someone fill the hot tub prior to closing daily and allow it to warm up in the night. No such luck. Nothing there has improved. In fact, it appears to be getting worse. The pool area is rarely monitored or staffed so people sweat like pigs in the dry sauna and then get in the pool or hot tub without showering. Hot tub often looks dirty and instead of emptying it and cleaning it properly, I think they throw more chlorine in it… so much it burns your eyes. Pool equipment is often strewn about because members don’t put things away and there is often trash on the floor…wet Kleenex etc. Ugh.

Negative experience: I am a Hawaiian that went to this location few days ago to workout when I rude Trans was very rude by raising her voice. Evidently my member Bar code didn’t register quickly in time so I was rudely told to stand off to the side! Eventually a nice coworker asked for my last name and I got in. I’ve been a member of Anytime Fitness since 1995 and as a Hawaii I have never discriminated, but this situation was so frustratingly upsetting!!! Please fire or retrain!
Positive experience: I love this gym, but the amount of times I have shown up just for them to be closed (without notification on the app) is ridiculous. We pay for a monthly membership and we're expected to pay on time, yet they can't be bothered to be open on time. We should be refunded per diem for the days they're closed or aren't open on time. We signed a contract to pay and you provide the service. It would be nice to at least receive notifications that they won't be open on time.

Negative experience: Been going here for a year, the guess passes are ridiculously expensive.They just upped their prices to 50$ a month. The day care worker put my son down and turned in her chair to sit on her phone while he just sat there, he doesn't walk so he couldn't get a toy to distract himself. He just sat there alone until I had to actually ask her to give him something to hold he's 1 !

Fantastic experience: This fitness facility is well-equipped with modern exercise equipment that is consistently maintained and updated. However, there is an issue with certain male patrons who monopolize multiple pieces of equipment while simultaneously using their mobile devices for extended periods, hindering the efficient use of the facility by other members. This makes it difficult for others, like myself, to use the equipment that we came in to use. When requesting to utilize the equipment, "work in", a number of these individuals may decline your request. Even if you attempt to reason with them, they may engage in intimidating behavior. Some of these individuals may even resort to using derogatory language. The availability of some workout equipment is limited, and some individuals have time constraints for their workouts. When equipment is occupied, it can be challenging to complete an effective workout. In such cases, alternative exercises that target the same muscle groups can be researched, although there may not always be suitable alternatives. Please make a change so that everyone can have chance to get an effective workout.

Negative experience: No towels? Really? Just gonna run a big sweaty gym with a pool and not gonna have towels.
We are sorry to hear your disappointment Daniel. We do offer paper towels and cleaning wipes for sanitizing equipment however none of our clubs offer a cloth towel service.
Negative experience: 1. Too many people, crowded gym. 2. Not enough classes. 3. If you bring a guest, they charge $20. Most gyms, if they charge, charge less than $5. 4. They don’t mail out invoices every month after they charge you. 5. They tell you at sign up that you can always pause your membership if needed, but that’s a half truth. You can only pause for one month without a doctor’s note. Even with the doctor’s note, it’s only for a couple of months. 5. They blackout dates every month where you aren’t allowed to cancel your membership. So, if you show up even a day late, you have to pay for another month you didn’t want or need. They like to remind you that it’s in the contract you signed. This policy is never sent out as a reminder or posted anywhere one can see. 6. Took me three interactions with staff to cancel my membership. Only one of them was nice.

Negative experience: Absolutely atrocious service and deceptive business practices. My wife has had her membership through Presbyterian which means she only has to pay annual fees. However, this year upon renewing her health insurance benefits, she was instead deceptively enrolled on a 12 month membership so Defined could collect monthly dues (we were told she would still be on her insurance plan). After approaching the locations GM we were told that all monthly payments could not be refunded or credited. They could but chose not to. Please read what you're signing, do not trust this establishment. I'll also be reporting to the BBB and I would encourage you to do the same if you have a similar grievance. It is the best way to keep big corporations in check.
We apologize for any miscommunication regarding billing with insurance. The Presbyterian policies have been changing in recent months however we will communicate with the Sandia Club management to look into this situation further.

Negative experience: This is a very nice gym but the staff is the most unfriendly in all of ALBUQUERQUE! I’ve been going to this location for over 2 years and get side eye and dirty looks from all the trainers and staff even if you crack a smile at them. Genuinely need to work on their people skills as trainers and greeters.

Negative experience: No more 1 day tryout at defined fitness. My friend had to pay $20 for a day tryout. They really push people to sign up for membership.
Thank you for taking the time to give feedback. For anyone who is not a member that comes in we do offer a $20 day pass. The only exception is when a brand new member enrolls they have the option to add five friends or family members to the vip list during time of enrollment. This gives them the ability to work out for free during their first visit as long as they are a first time guest, over 18 and provide a local ID.
Negative experience: The whole gym feels like a sauna, they either have had broken A/C every summer or they are trying to save money by not turning on the A/C but it is ridiculous.
Hi there,We are waiting for our new AC units to arrive and be installed asap. We know the temperatures get pretty uncomfortable in the summer time and are being proactive in replacing the units for the months to come.
Negative experience: The equipment is all right. The main staff are fine. The female manager with red hair was unhelpful, to say the least, when I asked for assistance.

Negative experience: I have been a member of Defined for over fifteen years and the Sandia Club has been in a steady decline. Examples include, but are not limited to, NOT OPENING ON TIME, lack of timely maintenance on machines, (especially stairmasters that slip, make weird noises or sit for a month or more with out of order signs), lack of timely maintenance in and cleanup of bathrooms, an APP that doesn't always record visits (Something that is important for members who may be reimbursed by an employer) and constant staff turnover. I see that Defined has expanded to new locations, such as Santa Fe, or built new facilities but it appears they have forgotten the importance of taking care of long time customers. Please step up your game. After all, your financial future may be stake. EDIT TO THE REVIEW ABOVE: Simply put, the condition of the Sandia club has only become worse. Machines continue to have the problems I've already noted, the men's bathroom has urinals that are full of urine because they don't flush, it also appears there is mold growing in the ceiling in the showers and the HVAC/fan system only cools part of the gym. For example the "Big Ass Fans" don't cover the southern third of the cardio area. Come on guys!

Negative experience: I canceled my membership but it was never pushed through when I went in person. I was told it would be given to a manager. When I took off to Alaska for work I was told my membership wasn't canceled and that they could not cancel my membership AGAIN over the phone or through the app. They said I had to come in person on a month to month membership. I canceled my card and they had their law firm call me and charge me 300+ dollars to cancel. They will scam you for money if they can so be careful with this gym.

Negative experience: Nice gym. Very bad personal trainer experience. Ended up injured following personal trainer suggestions. I wanted to get into weight training when I turned 30, so I went in and asked for a beginner routine to follow. Paid for 3 sessions. Mentioned I wanted nothing beyond functional posture, core and joint health for my goals. I was very clear that I hadn't done any strength training in 8 years, because of a car accident and orthopedic surgeries. During the second session, we blasted through a completely ridiculous bicep routine. I mentioned that it was too much, but got bro'ed into continuing beyond my limits. Aftermath was that I could not bend my arms for over a week. Looked like Popeye, the tissues in my elbow were so jacked up. Ruined my mountain biking trip to Moab because I couldn't extend my arms. I should have known better, but the lady I initially bought the sessions from said, "oh Sam is great! He will be the perfect person to help you ease into things". Ended up quitting after that second session. Never got the routine I asked for. Ruined a vacation.

Negative experience: Refused to give me a tour because my children were with me. My children's opinion of the kids club that they will spend 5 days a week is important to me. It made my decision to join this gym very easy. I have been to gyms all over the country and for over 25 gyms. No one refused a tour before.

Positive experience: Two things need to be addressed at this gym. 1. Mens locker room etiquette. Men walking naked to shave their privates or clip toenails completely naked for long periods of time is not okay in the middle of the room. Showing with curtain open. A sign needs to be placed in the locker room with do's and don'ts. It's out of control. 2. The black mold in the showers needs to be taken care of. (Your exhaust fan is broke..) Other than that, the gym is awesome, if you can avoid the locker room.

Fantastic experience: One of the biggest gyms in the city for a wonderful price monthly. I worked out 6 ish months here before moving out of town and absolutely loved it. I usually went weekdays 4:30am since I enjoyed the group of people there but later in the morning is still a good experience (shout out to Julian if he still works there)! almost always an available machine and the desk staff were super nice! would 100% recommend to a friend!

Positive experience: Generally a good gym, but their hot tub breaks constantly and is down for long periods of time. Ownership/management doesn't appear to care.
Negative experience: Now it is 5:45 on the Sunday morning. I am still standing outside awaiting for the club to open the door. So many times Lately the I have to wait sometime 30 minutes after the schedule open hour in the morning. This is really bad, if this keeps happening I will force to join other gyms and will never come back here again.

Negative experience: Deleted my previous review because apparently the corporate offices seem to not take these too seriously. As someone who ONLY comes to this gym still on occasion because it’s free through my insurance, it’s insane how bad this gym has gotten in the last three years. How much of your staff has to turn over and leave before you all accept that Cathy is the problem? I have never seen that woman do a single thing but sit at the front desk laughing with employees, and chatting with who I assume is her husband on the gym floor. Not to mention her obvious racism forced one of the only female employees they had to leave that was actually keeping the women locker rooms clean, and so now I guess as women we all have to suffer because Cathy can’t even be bothered to get into a locker room to clean regularly. I feel bad anytime I see a new and actually good employee come into the building because I know it’ll be 3 months at most before they leave due to her terrible management of this club. If the owner was smart they’d remove her from this club and promote someone who actually cares like that guy Brandon who’s pretty much always working on some big project when I’m at the gym. That is, assuming he even still works there. I thought he WAS the new manager when he introduced himself to me a few weeks ago and was surprised to hear the company was once again undervaluing their good employees by placing them in lower positions to appease this do-nothing manager. How can anyone expect this club to get better when the general manager generally does nothing? As a company you all should be embarrassed to have let this continue as long as you have.

Negative experience: I would not recommend this gym to anyone been going here for over a year and they charge double what anyone else does for the same stuff and I miss one payment due to getting a new debit card and they want to charge me basically three months worth of the monthly payments or I can't work out there looks like I'll be going somewhere else that actually cares about there customers.

Negative experience: Will the Steam room ever be available ,it’s been down since coronavirus !!? All the other gyms have steam rooms and are open,might head on over to another gym for the same price
Thank you for posting a review. While we never want to see a member leave due to an amenity that is not offered, unfortunately after the pandemic the decision was made to permanently close the steam rooms. We offer some other options for recovery such as the sauna and hot tub.
Negative experience: Was told by rep that in order to avoid a 180 cancelation fee we would need to wait until 4/01/2023. Was told when we came in that we should have come in the 25th so we will be charged another month which the first rep did not mention. Horrible customer service. Don't like being lied to just to make some more money out of us

Negative experience: This is the worst experience ever. I cancelled this membership on the App 6 weeks ago online because I moved back to Ohio. Now they are making harrassing phone calls about past due bill. Avoid this Gym at all costs. Especially if your visiting.

Negative experience: Was told by employee that in order to cancel our account we had to wait until April 1 in order to avoid $180 cancellation fee. Came in March 31 to end my program and was told that we would still be charged for the following month because the cycle ends on the 25th which the rep I talked to initially did not mention that and said we had to wait until the first or we would be charged $180. Period horrible customer service another way to make $80 for no reason.

Negative experience: This location should be offered as a discount compared to the others. The roof has been leaking since I joined over a year ago. The parking lot is a mess, the equipment is often broken, and, worst of all, it’s hot inside!!

Negative experience: VERY disappointed my wife pays good money for her Lesmills work outs the A/C has been broken for a long time!! She doesn't like to go much to this location unfortunately she has to travel out of her way for a satisfying experience.

Positive experience: I chose this gym for 2 reasons: classes and childcare availability. Unfortunately every time I have gone in the last few months, the childcare is full and I have to miss my class. I don’t know if the volume has increased or childcare has decreased but it’s clear that there is not enough staff to cover busy times. This is really frustrating.

Negative experience: Member here, came in an hour and a half before closing. My brother that was visiting out of town wanted to come, they wanted him to pay $20 for the rest of the hour. At other clubs I've visited they let him use his receipt for the whole 24 hours. The guy there would not work with us, and tried to get my bother to sign up for a membership that he will not use because he does not live here.

We offer a $20 day pass that is valid for the day of purchase regardless of what time of the day it is as a curtsey for out of state guests or people interested in trying the gym before deciding on a membership. Negative experience: I see that an "owner" responds to these reviews so maybe I can get some help by leaving a review. My husband and I have always loved this gym however in December 2022 we needed to freeze our account. I paid for the 6 month freeze to each of our accounts. Since then, our cards have been charged every single month, including a higher rate for January with 'new year fees'. I have personally walked in to the Juan Tabo location at least a dozen times to try to get some help with this. We've been told multiple times that the request has been sent to billing. Since the beginning of January I have been begging for help with getting these unauthorized charged refunded only to be given the run around and charged over and over again. As of now we've been refunded $75.40 and are still owed $204.67. It is ABSOLUTLEY INSANE that no one within this company cares to help with what is a very simple billing issue. I have called the corporate office on Eubank multiple times, no one answers any of these extensions. I have left voice messages, I have emailed corporate. NEVER a response. If you need to freeze your account, DON'T DO IT, JUST CANCEL, THEY WILL CHARGE YOU ANYWAY. Owner: PLEASE CONTACT ME

Fantastic experience: Love this gym but lately it's been so hot! I think one of their Ac units went down and they haven't fixed it. Got home from the gym and felt like passing out. I'll change this to 5 stars when they fix the ACas it's been down a long time. They had fixed the A/C awesome gym awesome staff!

Negative experience: I used to love this place prior to the pandemic. However, recently DF seems to be focused more on opening new locations than on keeping this one in good shape. The steam room has been out of operation since the start of the pandemic, with no sign it will ever reopen. There are various structural problems; they have had a bucket to catch water leaking thru the roof into the men's dressing room for months now. The thing that put me over the top is a constantly running/leaking shower in the men's showers. It had been running more than 6 cups of water down the drain every minute since some time in August. (6 cups X 60 = 22.5 gallons an hour = 540 gallons a day = 48,600 gallons since this problem began. That's a hell of a lot of water wasted here in the desert. - And it is HOT water, so they are wasting energy as well.) I have talked to several of the employees at this place, and they all say the same thing, "We have told the bosses, but we can't do anything else." I think its a scandal that this business can waste water like that with impunity during out drought. The only reason I gave it a second star is for how well they were doing in the past.

Fantastic experience: Julian the gentleman that works early in the morning has amazing customer service skills. Went out his way to help me when he didn't need to. I am diabetic and like to get my morning workout in and forgot to make sure my sugars wee good enough to go to the gym for a work out but I was low. He offered me something from his personal lunch pale that allowed me to be able to work out thie morning. Thank you so much I owe you big time.

Negative experience: I had a membership for a couple of years until my work schedule changed. I was never able to go to the gym due to their limited hours. They have horrible hours and seems like they are never open! Other than that the equipment variety is nice, I just wish they had more open hours on the weekend so I can get my membership back.

Negative experience: The gym itself is good. Plenty of room even during the crowded times. My gripe is more about parking lot security and safety. Other gyms have started to provide security with security officers and patrols. I've seen many times that vehicles have been broken into in the parking lot at the Sandia location (mine included).

We've also recognized it as an opportunity to do better and have added additional security measures including security cameras and lighting to help detour vandals. Positive experience: Great gym overall, probably the best in ABQ. You will be hard pressed to find a better gym in ABQ. Some suggestions is keep time limit on machines so people are not sitting on cell phones. Add a leg curl machine and leg extension machine (like those 2 good ones near the windows). Make sure most of the stair steppers work (those are my favorite cardio). And finally increase day care hours, Especially Saturday! If I see a some of these changes I will gladly upgrade to 5 stars.

Negative experience: will remove 1 star once they get set the temp ac to 75 or below. Had another member say he brought a thermometer it read 90. Not sure if it's that hot but 80+ degrees with the number of members paying is unacceptable. I didn't sign up for a hot yoga studio.

All areas in the club are at a comfortable temperature with the exception of the group x studio which has been temporarily moved to the cycling studio until the ac can be replaced. Negative experience: This location is not the best. The General Manager Nick has impoverished people and customer skills. The Personal Training is low quality not worth it. The pool is unsanitary. I watched plenty of people come from the Sauna with sweat dripping off of them, then get In the pool or hot tub without showering. The Sauna is infested with black mold, along with the showers. Very disappointed with my experience thus far.
