Negative experience: I went to this location for the first time over the weekend because the location I normally go to is temporarily closed due to renovations being done. I was not happy with it for a few reasons. First, they had music playing overhead which I did not like and was pretty loud because I could still hear it even though I had my earbuds playing the music I like at maximum volume. It was a really bad interference so I could not enjoy my own music. Second, I was not familiar with the machines in there which required a "sign in" to be able to set your own speed/pace. When I attempted to sign in as a "member", it asked for a password which I did not have. I decided to go ask the employee on duty about the sign in process and he said it wasn't required, even though I told him I was not able to change the speed. When I told him it wasn't working, all he said was that "they were working earlier" and just dismissed me. He never even bothered to offer to go take a look at the machine to see if there was an issue. He was very dismissive and somewhat rude. Not welcoming or friendly at all even after I told him it was my first time visiting that location and I was not familiar with those machines since they are different from the machines at the location I normally go to. Third, there were no free-standing fans for members to use as an option. The other location I normally go to offers those for members that want to use one. Needless to say, I was not at all pleased with this location.
Negative experience: I recently went in for a fitness consultation and left very disappointed. I was expecting someone to walk me through available programs, learn about my goals, and help develop a plan. Instead, I felt like I was pulling information out of the staff member. The person I spoke with didn’t introduce himself or give me his name. The only thing he shared upfront was that the gym is open 24/7, even on holidays. When I asked about programs or personal training, he simply said there is no programs offered and would have to talk to a trainer for more information on once a week training schedules. This made me wonder what the point of the consultation even was. If you are just looking for a gym that is open 24 hours, Anytime Fitness checks that box. But if you want real guidance, structured programs, or a staff that takes time to consult with you, this establishment isn't it.

I think you made a mistake, but you are not a member of this facility, nor have you ever had a fitness consultation with one of my trainers here, because again, that would require you to have a membership here first. You must be confused? Also, my trainers are female so if you spoke with a male, they are office employees, who are there to answer questions, give tours of the gym, and sign up new members. Negative experience: They closed the bathroom so I wouldn’t shower after my workouts now I can’t even use the bathroom to pee canceling my membership the gym here is too small anyway equipment is very limited.
Hello Martin! I'm sorry but we never intentionally close or lock our restrooms, this is the first complaint of this sort and seems unfair to say something publicly that is untrue. I actually watched you on camera several times after reading this review and you never had to wait to shower or enter any restroom. I tried contacting you privately via phone call and text message to discuss this matter but, I never heard back from you. It seems our gym isn't the right fit for you. Negative experience: The owner's response to my review is absolute garbage because he is a garbage person. I was a member of Anytime for years and quit my membership after my terrible experience with this particular club. As a result of poor management here, I will never return to Anytime Fitness again for any reason.
This person is not nor has she ever been a member of our club. It is likely that she is from a different Fitness Facility.

Negative experience: This gym has been ridiculously hot. Multiple times I have gone in and just walked out because I know I can’t workout when it is 74-76 degrees. I have asked several times if they are gonna address this and haven’t seen a change. If you can workout in a hot environment, then go for it. I simply cannot. Other than that, the gym is clean and has the small gym feel. Never feel like it is too crowded.

We have 4 air conditioning units and we have been waiting weeks for a part to arrive to get one unit fixed that isn't properly cooling a small section of the gym, just the entrance actually. Positive experience: Clean gym and a good size but pretty annoying to walk in and not be able to the dumbbell work you want because the only person in their is using the one adjustable bench they have.
Hi Adam. Looks like you are a visitor from Chicago. Welcome! Just to let you know, the gym has 2 adjustable benches, 2 flat benches, 1 decline bench and 1 seated bench. Sometimes the benches get rolled onto the purple turf or into the squat racks or smith machine. Myself or my staff will be happy to help you locate the benches you are looking for next time. Fantastic experience: Love this gym. Always clean, the sanitizing stations are usually well-stocked, and I rarely have to wait to use equipment outside peak times. It's relatively small, but I like that. The free hair-ties in the bathroom have saved me when I've squeezed in a last-minute workout after work. :)

Fantastic experience: No judgement at this gym.I have come a long way in my fitness journey with this gym and have grown physically and mentally stronger. I have made friends that have the same like mindset with positive energy. The gym is clean and has wipes all around the facility to wipe equipment down before and after you use a machine. #Positive, supportive, no judgement vibes! Also, Lucy is a great owner. Negative experience: if i could give a zero star review i would. don’t go to this gym unless you wanna be harassed by the “owner” who is a retired officer with power issues. he humiliated me in front of everyone by yelling at me that i didn’t scan in even though i do pay for a membership and very well scanned in. he proceeded to check and see that yeah i did scan in but still after that treated me as if i had been in the wrong. after that i go to try to cancel my membership because no one should feel like that in a gym, they told me they can’t help me unless i move or am disabled. in fear of sounding like a karen i put my membership on a hold and left. this place is a sorry excuse for a gym. it’s small, staff is rude and overpriced for what you get. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE

Fantastic experience: This is such a convenient gym. I can go wherever I feel like it and they have all equipment you'd need. However the staff is very friendly, I chose this gym because of Star, she is wholesome and knowledgeable about the equipment. Most gyms I feel like they don't care about you and there's no connection, but she cares about her community and is very welcoming. If I have any questions or need advice I don't feel embarrassed to ask her. Everyone I've encountered at the gym is friendly and have had good vibes, I come here more often because of that. Fantastic experience: I have been a member here going on 2 years. Anytime, no pun intended, I walk through the doors I’m gracefully welcomed by Starla into an environment that is clean and friendly. Machines get regular maintenance and the site is truly judgement free.

Looking through your profile, you seem to leave the same exact negative comments...Everyone is "rude" to you....maybe you should seek help. Please don't ever come to my facility as we like to maintain a positive environment here. :)
Negative experience: This place has very bad owners and almost wanted to 1v1 them on fortnite and I am convinced they don’t like certain races and don’t except Gatorade

Negative experience: ATF:You were politely asked to wear a mask yet refused and argued with staff because you didn't want to wear one. Please do not come back to my club or you will be escorted out. - Lucy Reply: It's a lie, Lucy! You did ask me to wear a mask, I said that I have no mask, then you brought me one. I accepted it and just left the building without arguing or cursing at all. Workout without getting enough oxygen kills the brain.

Fantastic experience: Switched from Planet Fitness & wondering why I waited so long to do so. I have went from a over crowded gym full of kids having social hour to a comfortable crowd of adults working out. It may be a little more money but worth every dollar spent!

Fantastic experience: super chill and cozy. the people there are respectful and the staff is great. i also like how no matter how busy the parking lot looks, it’s always kinda empty looking inside. very very beginner friendly. they also leave courtesy hair ties in the bathrooms, which i think is super cute! my only complaint is the lack of some machines/only 1-2 of each machine. that being said, it’s a small space & they worked well with it.

Fantastic experience: This is my favorite Anytime Fitness around town. They have a good selection of equipment, everything is clean and well maintained. It can get busy at times but it never feels overcrowded.

Hi Alexandria, I am sorry we missed your call. I looked at the call list today and there were three missed calls and no voicemails, two of those calls were after 2pm which is after staffed hours on Friday and the other was likely during a time that our staff member was physically with a client. We are staffed Monday thru Thursday from 10AM-7PM and 10AM-2PM on Friday and Saturday. The gym is unstaffed on Sundays but members have full access 24/7. Thanks Doug

Negative experience: Was verbally abused by one of the owners & was discriminated against. Without justification the owner accused us of breaking and entering after following the gym policy by having integrity with signing & paying $5 as a guest. In addition to this, I even paid extra...I have video of paying. How could I say I forgot my “fab” when I have video of paying as a guest? Is the owner telling the truth to protect the members or is the owner being deceptive to protect the business’s reputation?
I apologize in advance for the length of this response but in this world of Keyboard Warriors it seems the only way to combat them is by calling them out. It also seems the only people who leave negative reviews are from people such as Frank Martinez, who sneak into our facility by way of deceptive means and then once inside proceeded to break the gym's Covid-19 policies as well as state mandates. We make it very clear that guests are only allowed in the facility during staffed hours unless they are a legitimate guest of one of our members. Frank Martinez entered the gym illegally by sneaking in after hours by way of lying to other members telling them that he forgot his key fob (Unlawful Entry) two nights in a row and then after he got caught when he set off the door alarm he continually tried to quantify and justify his actions by talking over me and telling me I was being abusive by daring to ask him how he got into the facility. Then after finally leaving he proceeded write a bad review claiming that he was victimized! He also refused to wear a mask with a gym full of people and signs being clearly posted throughout the facility. Again he did this two nights in a row which is clearly viewable on video. I realized after looking at his Facebook page (Frank Maxim Martinez) that he has a personal issue in regards to wearing a mask in accordance with the public health order issued by the Governor. Everybody has a right to their personal beliefs however your personal beliefs do not take precedence over the Governors order when it comes to my place of business and the health and safety of our members. Yes he was asked to leave and not come back. If that is prejudicial and abusive to put the health and safety of our members first then I suppose that's what I was. Doug

Fantastic experience: I lost my ring there and few months later the girl who worked there got a hold of me and returned it!!!! My ring was almost $300 and so i appreciate the phenomanal gesture and kindness she had to offer. I believe her family owns this site and they have a great worker on there hands!!!!

Negative experience: I was with a friend who has a membership. When we walked in the owner didn’t say anything. We had walked right past him. Then the old brittle man (owner) kicked us out. I felt it was rude as well as uncalled for. If it was a problem why didn’t he say something when we first walked in? I would NEVER recommend coming to here.

You must pay a $5 guest fee and sign a liability waiver if you are not a member, which you are not and did not pay. 3. Covid-19 state guidelines mandate that we as owners and staff know who is in our club at all times and with your refusal to sign in when you were asked to, we cannot allow you access for the safety of our valued members. -Lucy

Hello Yazmin A while back you had been caught sneaking into our club on several occasions with your friend who herself is not a member here. You never once bothered to pay the required guest fee or sign a liability waiver. You can give us a bad review, that is fine but at least tell the truth...you were asked to leave because you didn’t follow our simple guest rules which by the way, are posted throughout the club. For the safety of our members in a 24/7 facility, we have always required guests to fill out a liability form. Trust me when I say we have better things to do than monitor our cameras in our spare time. Provision security does it for us. I wish you well and I hope you find a fitness facility that fits your needs. -Lucy

Fantastic experience: This is a great little gym. The owners are very engaged and really care about the place. Very nice people. It's a little on the small side and can get busy in the afternoon. But there is enough equipment and weights to get in a good workout. You might have to jump in on sets with another patron but overall a great little place.

Fantastic experience: I love this location. Its hands down my favorite. The vibe, the energy, the cleanliness, the people, the equipment, ALL GREAT!!! Its always clean and organized. The bathrooms are super nice and clean. The gym is in great condition. I live in the south valley and i drive the 14 miles because i love this gym. The one by my house (unser and sage) is super dirty and needs and upgrade bad. On everything from the flooring to the equipment.

Fantastic experience: Been going for a few months now. I have a membership where I can go to different local gyms and definitely prefer this one not only the location is super close to my house but overall cleanliness and machines and equipment is also very nice.
Fantastic experience: I've been to four gyms on the westside so far: Planet Fitness - nice and inexpensive, free haircuts but not enough heavy weights and VERY VERY disgusting bathrooms ALL THE TIME. Defined Fitness - Extremely crowded, humid and very old banged up equipment and pricy. Elite Physique - Awesome equipment and a gym with a lot of cross fit type athletes and professional bodybuilders. Anytime on McMahon is great. $199 for six months, precor equipment, free weights for deadlifting and bench pressing. Big positive about ATF is how clean it is. The cleanest bathroom's I've seen in a gym. Very nice staff there as well who always say hello. Glad I joined.

Fantastic experience: Been going for a few months now. I have a membership where I can go to different local gyms and definitely prefer this one not only the location is super close to my house but overall cleanliness and machines and equipment is also very nice.

Positive experience: Gym is nice and clean. Close to where I live and work so very convenient. I wish some of the staff were friendlier but other than that it's great.

Fantastic experience: I love this location. Its hands down my favorite. The vibe, the energy, the cleanliness, the people, the equipment, ALL GREAT!!! Its always clean and organized. The bathrooms are super nice and clean. The gym is in great condition. I live in the south valley and i drive the 14 miles because i love this gym. The one by my house (unser and sage) is super dirty and needs and upgrade bad. On everything from the flooring to the equipment.

Fantastic experience: I've been to this gym for two months now and I'm very happy to join this gym. It's clean and wet wipes are available every corners to keep the germ out. Equipments are up-to-date. Can't complain......

Fantastic experience: I am a Silver Sneakers member and was delighted to find their policy of charging an administrative fee has changed. There are now several Silver Sneakers members at Anytime Fitness and even several classes geared to our needs. Thank you for changing the policy. I am enjoying my membership.

Fantastic experience: It's a great place to work out. It's new, spic and span clean, including latest technology equipment, and video and trainer instructed classes. The Pilates and Total Body Workout classes taught by Cindy are fun and engaging. She also challenges us by modifing the workouts monthly. I recommend it to all my friends.

Fantastic experience: I joined this fitness club when it was still being built after meeting the owners randomly at a restaurant. It’s by far the best gym in the area! It’s clean, updated, and has everything you could need. Also the staff is top notch. I highly reccomend.

Fantastic experience: A great place to work out. New equipment is clean and smooth. Facility is also a new building that is modern and clean. Waited almost a year to join and should not have. Look forward to working out everyday now.
