Negative experience: This happened a while ago, one time I went to swim and I almost drowned and the lifeguards did nothing so I'm never coming back here again

Fantastic experience: Great place to get a really great workout! There's a pool and sauna.Super clean and the staff is very nice. Somethings for everyone to do.

Negative experience: Signed up being told no commitments paid my first month went to gym. End up tearing my rotater cuff so let my gym membership run out. Now being harrased for money and being told I will be charged late fees even tho I haven't been there in months. Buy beware this is something new I have been going to this gym for the past few years and never had the issue. Once I was done I simply stopped going stopped paying when I wanted to start back up I just called and paid to restart my membership. Not sure what's going on but be aware this no commitment thing seems to be out the door they try to come after you even when you haven't been there in months and you pay ahead for your membership!!

Positive experience: Didn't go in just picking up grandson from preschool. Wish someone would put up signs by the pickup and drop off people drive though there like they don't care if they hit a kid or adults!!

Negative experience: The staff is terrible! I tried to tell the front desk worker that I watched a boy get pinned to the wall and was getting beat up, I ran all the way to him. He just sat there on his Nintendo switch and said, “well I didn’t see it” even though the cameras were right behind him but he was too busy playing his Nintendo switch never seen such a pathetic worker!!! This is a picture of him just sitting there on it I can’t believe this is acceptable my mind is blown I’ve never even wrote a review before!

Positive experience: Very convenient location. Never too crowded. Nice pool with lanes for laps, deep end, do your own thing area. Nice very large hot tub area with relaxing view. Simple track for walking. Plenty more things I don't use. Minus 1 star for the occasional lifeguard personal music choices. Maybe I'm getting old but if the radio ain't playing it, the swimmers ain't likely into it. I like Primus and Frank Zappa, but I won't assume anyone else does at a pool. Extrapolate from there and you'll be fine.

Negative experience: Did not enjoy my experience here. I never saw any written prices on the website or posted anywhere. I felt over charged, but have no proof. I felt a lack of welcoming by the front desk. My son and I had to wait for the open pool to begin, we were corrected and yelled at every opportunity given. My son was asked interrogating questions in the locker room about his race and his parents language abilities.

Negative experience: Staff could be more friendly better job could be done with keeping up with the younger children that should be supervised by an adult. there has been times when they are on machines playing around or running around the facility where people are seriously working out. As far as cleaning that also could be improved. I am usually there 3-4 times a week. I have seen the same thermos sitting in the same spot for days. candy wrappers sitting on the machines tray for days. machines can be down for days if not weeks sometimes.

Fantastic experience: This place is great, the gym is big enough and with a large variety of machines and equipment. The staff are probably the best part they're courteous and attentive. The pool is big.

Fantastic experience: Good place to work out. They have basketball courts and things of that nature as well maybe racquetball courts is that what you call it. They have a track to run on a real live track.

Fantastic experience: The RIFAC building is great. The lockers rooms are clean and make you feel like your items will be secure. The pool is comfortable and just the right size. And the workout facilities are perfect.

Fantastic experience: The best Public Parks in the Quad Cities! Huge gorgeous green spaces. Lovely activities. RIFAC is a great community asset. Be sure to check out the free classical theater performed in Lincoln Park most weekends during the summer.
